I am resident from deepthisri nagar, madinaguda, hyderabad. I am using hathway broadband from more than 8 months (A/c no: [protected]), recently
On 8th sep 2019 around between 5-6pm from hathway internet cable in reverse power (Current) came and my two routers (Hathway router and my own mi router) burned into ashes and my desktop of i7 processor of cost 60, 000/- also burned. It is not just mine my neighbor's modem also burned out.

I called customer care and informed the same, they told me to send email on:
[protected]@hathway.net, but i didn't get any response to my email.

I would like to take you this responsibility and get it repaired my desktop.

    My set-up box is automatically stopped working it's shows insert card not veiwing, or sometime it's shows technical problems set up box is unable to received a signal. And icall to customer care no. And they said. To me. That they can't tell any information about it. All of 3 ok. Then i went for exchange they asked me to pay 500. What's going on. I hope u solve this matter. Asap.

      I haven't been able to use internet since 6th of september 2019 midnight 12:00. Since then i called the customer care services asking about the main problem, they at first didn't clearly mention what the actual problem was, but after discovering that the area's hathaway internet connection has been cut due to some technical issues and they are not getting permissions to again start the connections. This is causing the customers like me, a big problem as i am not able to use the internet for 6 days now. There is a lot of pending work and cannot be ignored for so long. This is a very dissatisfying experience and a frustrating one. I am seriously considering to sue the hathaway internet due to such loss caused to me mentally as well as technically. The customer service guys, whenever i call say the same thing that the internet will become online tomorrow, but i guess their calendar doesn't have a tomorrow in it. This is very frustrating for me and i am seriously at a great loss financially as i couldn't use any of my netflix subscription these 6 days, nor can i trade or any such thing. Even there is a great loss on my office work as no internet leaves me helpless.

        I have relocated to another location within city and raised broadband connection transfer request on 31st Aug '19. It's been 12 days and no one from hathway bothered to respond to my request and worst part is whenever I call customer support, they just reply saying executive will call you tomorrow in the first half and resolve your request tomorrow itself. I have been calling them from past 6 days and each and everytime they give same answer.

          I have made a request for new connection on 25th July 2019.and the person has come to here to check the Location and ask me to pay for 6 months package and i have done it immediately.
          After a day or so the person called me saying that the connection cannot be given as they dont have any link nearby and they said they will refund me the money within 7 - 14 days.
          its been 2 months since am calling them and no one seem to care abt it
          I have called customer care also regarding this and they cut my call in between
          i have contacted my bank also whether i have received any refund but there has been no refund yet
          I NEED A SOLUTION FOR THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

            Hi,

            I have took hathway connection for 6 months on 29-July-2019. The account No provided is [protected]. The cable team came to my house and said there is no feasibility of box setting in my area. Immediately i called the person who provided me the connection at S.R.Nagar area in Hyderabad. He said refund initiated. I have called customer care on 01-Aug-2019, they said refund initiated will be processed in 18 working days. to confirm i have called on 03-Aug-2019, 13-Aug-2019. In past 10 days from 1st Sep to till date i called many times they are saying 18 working days its been 27 working days. Customer care while transferring call they are saying processing department no one lifting call just voice message. This the worst kind of behaviour a company does. Kindly do the needful.

              I have approached for broadband connection. Service provider requested for the documents and address details. We have submitted our details immediately. Also requested for payment of inr 1343. We have paid through net banking.
              Later stage there was no communication and calls are being avoided. Finally spoke with the representative found that there was no coverage for our area. We informed that will check and revert. After so many calls finally answered our calls, he was abusive and rude to us. After that no calls are being answered and no response. For reference attached transaction details and contact details attached.

                Hi, i am a resident of srila gardens, miyapur, hyderabad. I am extremely unhappy with the staff of hathway. A person from hathway (Mob:[protected]) contacted me and confirmed that the connection would be feasible, after which i made the payment for a 6 month plan. Later, the technical person came to do the set up and told that it's not feasible. This happened on the 25th of august. I was told that i will receive the refund, which i did not. I haven't received any update on the refund too. They hire such unprofessional and untrained staff who stop answering after they realize that the connection is not possible.

                Why should i be charged for no fault of mine? Why should i be at trouble because of a terrible service provider?

                  I have faced issue of internet outage in the past and today for all day. I have called many times and also launched a complaint, it's very disappointing to see how they don't care. I have tried 100 times calling to them on 3 numbers.

                  They literally lie while saying someone is going to come it's technical issue then they say it's about the entire junction etc no satisfactory reply nor any resolution please intervene and help i am stuck here.

                    Sir/madam, i am a hathway customer since 2003/2004. Recently one of your marketing staff came to my house and advised if i can take a combo pack of cable and internet. I thought of taking this service since i wanted to try it out.
                    I have paid the money on 01/09/2019 and placed several requests with the local for installation of new android combo pack set top box. After repeated request finally they came yesterday evening around 6pm and connected the new set top box and today it is not working again after my repeated request and lodging a complaint they came and said they will rectify the problem by tomorrow. It is a fast moving world and does it take 10 days to connect a set top box when competition is so high. I have paid the required money and naturally have a right to ask for the service.

                      I have been facing slow speed of my net from almost 4 months, i have raised requests to hathway customer care, now the net speed which i am getting below 512kbps, my plan is 50mbps. There is huge difference. All the time these people will deactivate the account if the bill is paid a day late. Who will compensate for all these kind troubles i am facing now. It is almost a month have not used my net properly. Most of the times the net gets disconnected frequently. There is no proper care from hathway even when i raise a request to them. Most of the times they close the request / ticket raised by me without resolving and without a check with me or without my concern. I hope you will try to solve my issues.

I already told them to remove my no. From their list but still i get calls. Requesting hathway concerned authority to please remove my no. From their list orelse will definitely file a compliant in consumer court.

                          I am receiving unwanted messages from hathway even after i have closed my account two years ago.
                          Even after multiple request i receive calls from hathway from different numbers which is not good for privacy and even after multiple complaint to the customer executives it is not resolved.                             I have taken the hathway new connection ([protected]) on aug-3-2019. However after three days, they informed this is not a feasible area and will refund the amount with in 15 days. So officially i raised a complaint for refund on aug-7-2019. Till now i didn't received any response or refund from them.

                            Before selling i asked them about feasibility of the area, they made a false promise to provide the connection with in two days. Till now i didn't received any service from hathway or refund.

                              Guys don’t buy gtpl internet.

                              Reason :

                              New internet connection ke liye 24 hours me aa jayege lekin jab koi complain karega to bolege 24hours and aayege tab jab aap bar bar complain likhvaoge, and speed ka bhi locha hai.

                              Sabse badi problem custo00r c0re me call receive karne walo ki agar boy ne call uthaya to 70% chance hai ki aap kya bol rahe ho vo samaj me aayega un logo ko, aise gacar logo ko call par bithaya hua hai sale kuchh samajte nahi, 15 bar bolo ge 1 bar likkhege aur kab aayege wo pata nahi.. Ab agar girl ne call uthaya to samaj lo k aapako energy drink lena padega, kyoki girls to pure ki puri gavar rahti hai call par, kuchh bhi unko samaj nahi aata unko.

                              Kahne ka matalab mera yahi hai ki yeh mera experience raha hai.

                              Agar aapane paisa de diya to vo logo king ban jayege aur.

                              Renew k time par kutte ki tarah pohch jate hai paisa lene.

                              So dhyan rakhe aisa net lene se pahale.

                              Hello,

                              I've been using Gtpl for quite some time, and from the day I got Gtpl till now all I did was call customer care for Internet.

                              Now, I can't take it anymore, I'm paying the money for the speed I don't get and also huge amount of packet loss which effect my routine.

                              Please help me out.

                                Hathway is the worst service provider.

                                1. The customer care does not respond to calls when we select the option of existing customer. Everytime I had to select the option of new customer, only then my call was attended by the executive.
                                2. The team doesn't have the quick resolution for the issues. Every call they will say it will get resolved by tomorrow but their tomorrow never appears.
                                3. The backend team/billing team has pathetic customer interaction. They disconnect the call if they don't have the answer.
                                4. Also the backend team is the biggest lier infact entire Hathway service provider is lier. From past 7 days my complaint is registered into their system, everyday I call them I receive the response that by tomorrow morning it will start.
                                8. They don't have internal team communication at all. Complaint team is not aware why ticket is still open, backend team doesn't have answer, billing team provides some other response.

                                I am not writing this because I faced this issue for the first time. I have faced it for many times. Even after paying full amount for 6months plan they disconnected my internet after 4 months and didn't start until my account was deactivated.
                                After several calls and multiple mails to their helpdesk for entire 2 months I didn't receive any positive response.

                                Again one of the supervisor Manthesh contacted me and promised me for best services, so took one month plan with 1 month free as my compensation, as soon as my month was over the account was again disconnected. And now from past 7 days I am contacting them and I receive only one response "by Tomorrow morning your wifi will start" I am still waiting for that tomorrow.

                                  I had taken a new connection of hathway by paying inr 3179 on 17th august 2019. As the executive promised me the installation within 45 mins. Once the payment was made the executive became irresponsible, i had to followup with multiple people who just give a new number everytime to followup. After 2 days and various followups the technical guy came for the connection and soon to my surprise he told me that the area is not serviceable so i would receive my refund within couple of days.
                                  A day after that i received a message to my registered mobile number that "dear customer, due to technical reasons we were unable to process your request of new connection. Hence we are processing your request for refund. You will receive your received refund in 15 days. Team hathway."
                                  After that i have been receiving the same msg every other day.

                                  Today on 5th september 2019 when i called the customer care as it has passed more than 15days they gave me a single mugged up answer that "we have raised a request now, you will receive it in next 15 days."
                                  When i told them whole story and asked them about the msgs i received and promised made they repeated the same dialogue and said that we as a customer has to raise a request for refund even if they are not able to provide service and promised an auto refund.
                                  I asked them about the msg of the refund they said it may be is from backend team and they dont know about it. They also asked me to call the person who promised or msged. I did not promise you ask who promised is the dialogue i get in response. Are you kidding me???
                                  When an employee at position promises a service it is the company promising not that individual. You dont even teach that. Wow.

                                  Why the hell is there a customer care then when the customer has to get the dream of doing the things on their own and followup for each and everything and you donot have an answer for your own service and promises made.

                                  No one in any team of hathway take responsibility for any of their job. They only know to blame it on other, say the same mugged up dialogue and blame customer again for not following up and believeing the promises made by their own company hathway.

                                  Now being in an economy class where every payment is linked to another and struggles hard with daily jobs here i am with this kind of service where the refund had to balance with the emis.
                                  Now due to hathway's in efficiency and irresponsible behavior i have to bear the bounce charges as well.

                                  I need a resolution.

                                    Myself nitin mehta residing at borivali east . Have three connections of hathway . I renewed two connections with 475 pack which has not been done by the local operator panjam cable. Also I have been trying to connect the local operator for 6 days but no one is responding. Please would request hathway to renew my connection or refund my money.

                                    Customer number mentioned is my set top number[protected]. Cable is not coming from last 6 days of renewal in all tv .

                                      My hathway customer number [protected], i have disconnected my connection on august 14th 2019. I have also surrendered the modems to the hathway person.
                                      But, i have been repeatedly called and asked to recharge, though i have asked them not to call me.
                                      I have also told them to make a dnd request, but i don't think it is happening.
                                      Please stop calling or sending any messages regarding this.

                                        My hathway account number is [protected]. It's been couple of months that i have got this hathway internet connection for the area nizampet, green fields society. There are lots of frequent disconnections happening while using hathway internet and sometimes net is completely down during evening/night time which seems to be happening very often. Every time i call to the hathway customer care, their response is same - "we have raised a complaint already, we'll resolve your issue in 24 hours". The technician visit is a joke where he just come and browse some regular sites like google, then say - "no issues with the internet, working fine". For me this is very annoying & frustrating because calling them and complaining on the same issue again and again is now became one of the daily activity for me. Whenever i request for a refund, they would just reply saying - "once the account is activated, refund will not happen". So i decided to write a complaint on all the forums and take it infront of more people. At least this way people who is reading this complaint will now think to go for hathway internet connection and obviously choose a better internet service provider.

                                        This is just a start. More forums to put the same complaint..
