Hi,

We paid deposit at the time of hathway setup box installation and was told that the deposit is refundable on subscription termination. When we asked for deposit amount on termination the concerned operator spoke rudely and said that he will not going to return any amount. Please do needful

    I r sundara raghavan with registered mobile number [protected] and a resident of b.306, sidharth upscale madanandapuram, kunrathur road, chennai - 600125; applied for hathway broadband and submitted my kyc documents and q punjab national bank cheque for rs.1398/-. This amount of rs.1398/- has already been debited from my savings account (Punjab national bank). But even. After 10 days of my payment the router has not been installed and the functionaries involved in the process of giving us a broadband connection have not provided us the router and so also the login password etc and it's activation. Nothing has been done so far.. I fail to understand as to why such delay is taking place in my case. My repeated requests with the local customers care officials has not yielded any result. Kindly register this complaint and advice as to whether i should seek legal redressal.

      The number of calls i receive from hathway is nothing short of intolerable. I've seriously run out of patience. Don't freaking tell me when to recharge! If disconnection is what gets me out then that's what i'm going to do. I've repetitively told them to stop harassing me but to absolutely no avail. If this goes on consumer court is where i'll be because i've tried everything else possible.

            I had used hathway broadband services for more than 3 years. While installing they collected rs 1050 as refundable deposit for router. Due to frequent downtimes and cable connection i disconnected it and submitted the router so that i can get my deposit. It's been more than a year and they are not responding to my calls and e-mails. I have been to their office but no use. I tried to contact them on social media and they took my details but they haven't responded. It is really frustrating. It is not about the money but the amount of time and agony. I urge everyone do not opt hathway services.

              I made payment for hathway connection on 18-may, cabling setup was done on 19-may. Since then i am following for activation details and still no one has contacted. It's been over 5-days now that i do not have wi-fi activation details.

              No response from hathaway representatives who arranged installation nor from the helpdesk team where i registered complaint.

                I have raised a complaint on 11.05.2019 and its 12 days now.
                I have called the customer care around 16 times now. They said they have done a new cabling and new router will be required which they send me by post 5 days back. Yet not a single person has come to install the router.

                Hathway broadband is making a fool of me.

                  I am a hathway cable customer. My registered mobile num is [protected] and account num is [protected]. Hathway is worst cable operator as they are not able to fulfill there commitments to provide all free to air channels after payment for the monthly packages. And today on this important day of election results they are not able to provide news channels. We are bounded as we already pay for the set top box. Set box is worst decision made by trai. Due to which we unable to switch our cable operator. Kandly take action as hathway cust care people have no source to resove our concern. Always they use to say that this time our server is down and we are unable to help and they don’t have suetable resorces like some manager or clients sitting in there cust care centre to help consumers.

                    I am one of the customer of your digital hathway cable provided by sonali cable at malad east

                    As per new subscription plans by the government, i have gone through ala carte pack in which i have selected all that channels which i require total monthly charges of my pack which includes free channels - rs.130, ala carte - rs. 167.50, plus gst @18% rs. 53.55 (130+167.50= 297.[protected]@18%)

                    Therefore, total monthly charge of my pack including all is (130 + 167.50 + 53.55) = rs. 351.05/-

                    I have already paid advance amount till may 2019

                    But, our service provider has close the connection from his side & asked to pay rs. 50/- extra for service charges... Why we should pay this amount to him when i am already paid gst @18% as a service tax... Please reply is it liable to charge from all the hathway head office or share the notification which was passed by the managing department for the further.

                    Reply is necessary or else he will take extra unnecessary money from us

                      I have gtpl broadband connection. My gtpl registered number [protected]. At ahmedabad. I have paid 6000 rs to gtpl which provide unlimited for 1 year at 30 mbps speed. There is a kind o[censored]nsatisfactory issue with gtpl. I have complained at around 4 times within a week regarding my internet speed and connection error slow speed. I have to complain everyday. When i complain they open the compain and then autometic close the status of compaining without any technitial comming to my home for resolve my issue. Every time they are telling there is an issue in whole line so within 2 hour it will be resolved. But honestly when i have tried to use my internet connection i never used satisfactory. Even i am trying to open speedtest website, after 6 or 7 minutes the page is not getting opend.

                      I am writing here because if someone can help me from gtpl higher authority as customer care not doing anything.
                      Hathway / Gujarat Telelink [GTPL] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                      I have took connection and in 20 days it broke 2 times and they takes 4-5 days to get it resolve after complaining many times and visiting head office.

                      Not giving proper service and denying for refund also.

                        Hi team,

                        In the year 2017 i used the hathway connection and then i moved to a location/area where hathway company was unable to provide the service.
                        So i closed my account with them and cleared all the dues and returned their modem as well.

                        I am still receiving frequent calls from hathway team. There is no point in bugging a customer to whom hathway cannot provide service. Before calling any customer at-least check why the connection was terminated and whether it is feasible to give promotion calls to such customers.

                        I request to stop bugging me else i will go to consumer court & police and will file a strict complaint against hathway.

                        I again request please stop disturbing me.

For hathway broad band internet conncetion for one month i got internet conncetion for only one week after that no internet in contacted the net provider and spoke to all officers in hathway to rectify my problem non could solve the problem on[protected] i lodged a complaint registered vide no. W-526204 and and still problem is not solved (I am a senior citizen of this country what can i do next?

                          My nearest hathway distributer dont gave us gst bill. He says company dont give him the gst proof or gst billing documents so he cant gave us the gst bill, but when we pay the gst bill we need proof. If your company distributer dont give us gst bill our area connection will cut shortly

                            I am arun residing in hsr layout 1st sector benagaluru. I took a cable connection from shree thirumala cable network on 4th of may 2019. They charged me 2750 for set top box which is advertised as 2050 in hathway website. I have asked for malayalam premium channels and few channels extra as ala carte. Now i dont remember all the channel i have asked them to provide but i know that star movies and hbo was ticked on the check list they provided to me. They took back the checklist and today its 21st of may 2019 still i cant see those channel on my tv. I have asked customer service to add and constantly said will add in 5 minutes. Till now i dint see it yet in my tv. 3 days back the connection was completly out and asked for a service. They kept on saying will send exec now but he is no where near my home. This is a pathetic service. I need justice.

                              I get multiple marketing calls from hathway chennai asking me if i want hathway connection even though i have said no. I received the call from different numbers

                              I have also emailed the nodal officer about this. I still get them. This is extremely annoying and is causing mental agony. How to stop this?

                                As per trai guidelines, a customer can select any number of tv channels as per a-la-carte basis. But our region's authorised public limited company i. E. Hathway / gtpl is not allowing us to select channels as per our choice. Local cable operator [shree siddhi cable network vision, godrej garden city, jagatpur, ahmedabad, 382470 owner is raju patel ] for gtpl hathway ltd is charging us rs.390/- which includes rs.130/- fix cahrges plus rs.100/- his service charges + rs..160/- for packs of zee, sony and star channels.
                                If you do not take action against gtpl than they are charging excess to 6500 families stiruated in godrej garden city, jagatpur, ahmedabad pincode=382470

                                  My hathway account no - [protected] was terminated and year ago and the modem router was collected by hathway executive too, and since then there has been no interaction with hathway. But yesterday i received a message saying account activated, but since i have shifted, nobody lives there and there is no connection there. I want hathway to terminate my account asap as there is no use of this connection. Kindly terminate the connection.

                                    I am a user of hathway broadband services, i do online gaming. I play games like counter strike global offensive and pubg (On pc) these online games need proper internet connection without any lag issues. From the past three weeks i have been trying to reach out the customer service, they do not understand my internet issue of 'high ping' during my gaming sessions, they simply just take a complaint, they do not even whether the problem has been resolved or not and then they later close it after 2-3 hrs.
                                    I have attached some photos as well. Normally the parameter ping has to be generally below 90 but now it rockets upto 700.

                                      I was contacted by hathway executives (Scammers) - [protected], [protected], and asked to recharge my account [protected] with rs. 352 as outstanding amount for my terminated account. So i did, but after calling customer care i realized that there is no outstanding amount left, and yet they asked for money, recharge was done successfully from my end. And i even got a sms and email from hathway confirming the payment. I will attach pics for the same.

                                        We used to call their customer care once a day and we did not get any sort of action from them. So I thought to disconnect their bloody connection. But, they called me saying that if you recharge, we'll check the problem and solve it by the end of that day, which they were telling from months. I had no other service available except hathway, so I did the recharge and then the story repeated again. They started telling me that they are facing some technical glitch in our are and will solve it within 4 hours which has continued for a week now. Twist here is, the guy who stays next to my door is also having hathway and he is able to access it. We are tired of calling them and asking them to resolve. So, we hope this platform will help us to solve this issue and let these buggers learn a lesson from this. We are attaching the speed tests and the call history with this bllody Hathway customer center. Thanks in advance.
