My connection till not activated even after i made payment to local service provider on 8th march 2019 to prashant satellite, rameshwar nagar, jamnagar.
Please resolve this on immediate basis otherwise i will register a complaint in consumer forum as well as in trai.
This kind of inconvenience and behavior of local service provider can not be tolerable. They said that website is not working for recharge. All other connections in same area working properly except mine.
Please take action against it immediately.

    This is regarding the billing due date for hathway broadband account. I had subscribed to the hathway internet on 10th november, but i got the actual connection around 15th december after too much calling and mailing for the connection. The subscription was for 3 months and as per the offer received on sms it was 3 months subscription and 1 month free.
    Now i got the mailer that my due date is 24th february. Which is just 2 months of internet service. This is totally wrong since the billing should start from the date the connection is given and activated. The modem has also been taken away.
    I had written 4 times to them and just a reply that they are looking into it, but no real action on it also i had written to the nodal officer, from there also no reply. They don't even have an helpdesk no. To which i can call and get it resolved. For any help related to the billing, need to be sent by mail only.

    I received a call from their team and he was saying if i renew the subscription, then only they will give me the last one months internet service which they had not given, else not.

      I start facing this issue of 40 cases after 2-3 disconnection of hathway cable. This is the worst company i have seen in my. When this # have already taken caution money of 1400 rupee for every box, which type of 420 cases they are filling. Their service was horrible. I use to pay every 3 moths. Every 3 months the service will go and their representative will create i account to solve the problem. Because they can not resolve the issue. Their was no call from hathway call for any return of box. One thing for sure no matter how many cases they put they will suffer and their reputation will go down.in future nobody will take their service and even any other good company will suffer. People will ot trust any company i have already 3 calls from hathway lawyers. People should come together for such company and disconnect their service because sooner or later they will also suffer. If we are not coming together we all will suffer. Funny part is that when my wife called them they are confidently telling her that we don't call people to return the box. We keep their as well as file 420 cases directly. Please report hathway frudester company in every platform my wife suffer from big diseases also and family is already under very stressful situation.

        I have subscribed my gtpl cable package.I have subscribe Free to air channel some bouquet channel and some pay channel separately.In my package DD sports is off during India vs Australia twenty 20 and one day matches.I have facing this problem last 10 days minimum.I have called customer care number of gtpl Helpline. But they did not help to my problem and said that wait.
        I asked them how much time? Because I know that when the match will end the DD sports channels will start automatically.

          I have hath broadband prepaid connection my account number is [protected], and i discontinued hathway service from last month but they didn't collect modem from my home and still receiving call to activate the connection, this complain is to let hathway know that i discontinued hath service on 17 feb 2019 and there is no bill due on my end, i asked hath to collect modem but they didn't respond,
          Please make sure that i wont be responsible for any other charges by hath in future.

            I took hathway broadband connection years ago. I paid the security deposit charge which was around 1500 and the monthly charges. After few years i removed the connection. They are not giving me back the security amount.

            Rather they are asking me for the modem price. The modem was hardly of 1000 rupees.

            They should think twice before asking as they already have the security deposit with them.
            Such a poor customer service and technical team.

            They don't know how to behave with customers

            I got the call today asking for 2500 or else they will file a case. Why will you file case? My connection was a prepaid connection. I called multiple times regarding the poor service but the customer care did not resolve. Even i informed that i am switching to other broadband connection. I have all the mails.

                  I had used hathway broadband services at hyderabad with customer account no: [protected] for the months 14th july 2018 to 14th january 2019. I had experienced the worst service and pathetic network issues during this period. Almost i raised nearly 15 issues only on network related in the span of 6 months. Because of this worst service i requested for termination after 14/01/2019 and same has be accepted by hathway and wifi modem also taken back by hathway. Even after this, i am receiving calls from hathway executives to renew the services with an offer they provided. I am receiving almost 10-15 calls per week from multiple number and non repetitive.

                  My concern is why my phone number is shared with many executives who are not in the control of hathway. I am receiving cals from thier personal numbers and not company customer care numbers.

                  If i receive any calls from hathway after one week from now, i will log a complaint in indian consumer court against the company.

                  Even after one month I am receiving calls to renew the connection. I dont want Hathway worst service again in my life. Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please stop making calls and dont harass me to renew the connection again. Please remove my number from database.

                    Respected sir/ma'am,
                    This is a consumer of hathway broadband named akshay kajolkar, account no. [protected], vc no.[protected], account holder's name:usha kajrolkar. (Address: bdd chawl, delisle road, opp. N. M. Joshi police marg, lower parel, mumbai, 400013) (Local area operator: mr. Harish turalkar)

                    Recently according to trai's new regulations, certain changes were made in our daily veiwing dth pack and our local cable operator mr. Harish turalkar informed us to fill the forms provided by the company in which there were packs provided by the company. I, instead of accepting the company provided packs, chose to select broadcaster's pack and submitted the form manually (Offline) as well as online through the hathway's official website. My cable operator started arguing that the pack i chose cannot be implemented by him and charged me an higher amount than what was stated in the online form. I also said him that "as per new regulations, only 25 dd chanels are mandatory and after that we can choose our own packs or channels" but he refused to listen to me and said that "it is mandatory for everyone to accept 100 fta channels @ rs. 130+taxes and then customer can choose his own packs or channels."

                    (Attaching the form submitted by me online & the pack my cable operator charged, along with this mail).

                    Moreover, mr. Harish turalkar said that you can complain to customer care & also visit the nodal officer's office in mumbai which is listed on your official website and is located in lower parel.

                    I tried calling the customer care number for straight 3 days and not even one of my call was picked, ever.

                    After getting no reponse from the customer care i decided to visit the the regd. Office in lower parel on 05.03.2019, where when i stated my complaint, they responded by saying that, "the area you live in is not covered by our office and kindly contact mr. Dinesh chavan", and gave me his contact number. This is the reponse i get by the only regd. Office in whole mumbai area which is mentioned on hathway's official website.

                    After having a conversation with mr. Dinesh chavan, he said to speak with mr. Shailesh chavan (Head of mr. Harish turalkar) and after complaining to mr. Shailesh chavan he said, "i generally do not speak with customers directly and said either solve your problem with your cable operator or register your complain to trai." where i had a conference call with mr harish turalkar, mr shailesh chavan himself and me, and at the end of the heated conversation, mr. Harish turalkar (Local cable operator) said that "i am going to deactivate your dth connection today itself."

                    After having such a drama for the past few days regarding the dth cable, i am disappointed with ther service & customer care provided by hathway and i am left with no other option to send a mail to the nodal officer directly.

                    Kindly do the needful and i hope to get a positive reply from you.

                      This is with regards to your recent trai order to get the option to choose my own package. I have service with the local cable operator named shree sai cable tv enterprises who provide service on behalf of hathway cable & datacom. The contact number of the cable operator is[protected]. Kindly note that the operator does not comply to the rules set by trai. Firstly, as per the rule we know that we need to have the choice of free to air (Fta) channels.in our case we do not get the option to select our fta channels, instead they themselves broadcast channels of their choice that too they do not give us the list of the channels on the form they have given us to select our channels. Secondly, as we know that as per the mandate, all doordarshan channels are mandatory, but in our case they have even blocked those channels, in my case, i am not able to get dd urdu. Third, if a customer wants to only opt for the basic fta channels without any of the pay channels they still want us to pay rs.200 instead of the charge of rs.130 plus taxes which comes to only rs.153.4 as per the current tax of 18%. Fourth, they do not provide us with the broadcaster bouquet pack (This option is given by hathway but sai cable does not even give us the option that hathway gives us, which tells us the kind of fraud they carry out not just with the customer but also their own franchise) instead they have created their own pack and want us to pay for the 100 fta channels and pay channels plus the rs.20 additional charge for going over the 100 channels even though we did not get the choice to select the fta channels, which given a choice the selection of channels could have been lesser than 100 even after the selection of pay channels. The service operator is a person involves in politics due to which he takes undue advantage of the same, but that will not stop me from raising my grievance against it. Lastly, i also have a complaint against trai itself as instead of being a convenience this new rule has become a problem for customer like us who are multilingual, specially people who live in metros and are interested in watching different languages and as per your advertisement which asks why we are "comparing apples to oranges" it is not like that at all for that you have to be in a place like mumbai and thane to know what it is like and make state-wise packages is not suitable for customer like us and this cannot be understood by making rules from delhi. Hoping for a positive and more importantly, quick response. Thank you.

                        Dear trai members and hathway management

                        I am a subscriber of hathway digital. I have approached my cable tv operator in order to make my channel viewing package which is summing up to 500 rs. But while selecting fta, the channels i wished are missing from the software but its available in the list provided to the operator by the company. When i argued with the operator he was helpless as the channels i wished is under the fta pack by the name "telangana fta". But i don't want all the fta which are under that base pack. I have created my plan as per the trai suggestive packages shown on the trai website and i used the trai tool to make my list but unfortunately poor operator is not able to provide me as the company kept it mandatory to select base pack.

                        How come hathway can force consumer to take their base pack.. And what is the meaning of showing and airing the advertisement on its channel number 999 that customer is king.

                        Under the company list all the channels i have chosen is available in a-la-carte but not in the software. This clearly means they are cheating and making fool of customers. I have even seen the list of channels submitted to trai and downloaded them and shown to operator.

                        When operator spoke to the mso in front of me on mic they simply in rude manner said if customer wants tell them to buy fta base pack or else # off. This is the behavior of hathway.

                        What is the use of new system when mso's are playing games with customer. Even after paying 500 + bucks we are not getting our desired fta. As a researcher i have done some ground work and also have gathered evidences, and to my surprise many fta's are missing from a-la-carte. I

                        So please i request trai and hathway management not to play and make fool of customer and please do fair business. If people are chosing fta, there will be only one ncf charge. And if consumer is choosing basepack then more ncf which is loss to consumers and gain to company.

                          The hathway local operator "saiglobal" has never asked for any channel selection. When we call him or even visit his office (Which is also his home) he says he will send somebody, but that somebody never comes. For the past one month this is going on and i have no way to reslve this problem, so then i tried filling the hathway form online. Hathway page allows to select the channels but does not reflect anything on my tv. The complaints page of hathway does not allow me to submit a complaint as it does not show any captcha, but the page says that entering a captcha is a must.

                            Sir from past two days we are waiting for new service connection and service provider is not cooperating properly after the payment - K R puram service provider. I would be obliged if you could look into issue and provide the connection as soon as possible or if it is not possible then please refund the amount, we'll check for some better service..

                              Subscribed for fta + paid channels.
                              Only paid channels are enabled to see. All fta channels are disabled.
                              All fta channels display the error message "channel unauthorized"
                              Cable operator 'sai global vision, habsiguda, hyderabad-500007 ' unable to resolve the issue.
                              Tried calling customer care[protected] continuously from 4 days but no response receiving recorded message.
                              Tried calling couple of local hathway numbers but non are responding and there is no contact info of nodal officer.
                              This problem exist with all the users who subscribed for fta+ individual paid channel from a-la-carte
                              Appreciate an earliest attention and resolve the issue.

                                I am user of this network since last 10 years. No issue till tri came into the picture. All tough these guys have card no. Of set top box, i can understand if they request customer to give to select pack and pay for the channel one time. I have three television at different places, so activated packages on 15th feb 2019. Suddenly news channel like wion disappeared from 4th feb 2019. These guys does not pick up phone. On visiting customer office in evershine, thakur village, these guys ask us to bring old receipt and card no. For each tv. Forms are already given with all details but still they want customer to go back home and bring it. Just imagine this is for one channel. Every complain you have to do this. Also, i requested for hd box in feb 2019. Guys ask me to wait for a month and now saying we have shortage.
                                It's time to look for better operator and service.

                                  My account no is [protected] and i have a prepaid connection on when i get subscribe but due to some issue is change my place and i am not recharging it again. But after 2 years i get the bill of 10000 and get the call from consumer court for that nonsense bill. Still, i paid it and they said it will be closed your account. But still i get the bill for it as 3000 for what i still don't know.

                                    Recently the digital cable plans have been changed and we got the notice for the same. There was a form given to us and we were told to select the channels as per hathways recommendation and not from a la carte, which is wrong as per what is being advertised.
                                    We should only pay for what we want to see, and hathway digital cable is forcing people to select the plans that they ate giving.
                                    Also they expect is to pay only and only in cash to availtheir plans, the agents sitting in the kandivali east office are very rude and adamant.
                                    Even after selecting the a la carte plans as per given in the form they did not accept it.
                                    I have also submitted an only request on 3rd march, even that has not been addressed and no one has contacted me yet

                                    Facing the similar problem in Rohini, sector 13 Delhi.
                                    Having Hathaway set top box compatible for SD channels, but on their website no link to select broadcaster SD channels value packs. As per TRAI they can block service till 31st March, but no service n local service provider not listening.
                                    No one picking Hathaway Delhi cust care no. (Given at their website[protected].

                                    As per TRAI 's new cable & DTH rules i have select my channles & make my packs on Trai's channle selector website & my total amount payble is showing 315.00/- but my local cable operator do not obey these rules and they ask for more money from me, so plz help me & what can I do at this time ??

                                      There is no transmission since three weeks now, channles selected and provided to operator, payment for whole year made in advance.

                                      Above are hathway operators who do not know how to talk to customers and keep making false promises but nothing happens. They speak rudely over the phone and ask the customer to go ahead and do whatever they want to. Pathetic service by hathway. Do not recommend hathway to anyone. Pathetic service. Hathway you listening???!!

                                      Please refund my advance money as promised by you as the return of the modem and router has been done. It’s been more than 2years that my return amount has not been done. Rs 1050 was taken at the time of taking the connection and after disconnecting, the amount was to be refunded which is still not done. I request you to please do it asap

                                      Vishwas from Nagarbhavi, Bangalore. Service provider from Hathway is Ravi Kumar. Till date not rec'd customized channels as selected. Monthly rentals being provided.Hathway is cheating it's customers .more than 15 days no cable channels available

                                        Hi,

                                        I'm writing this complaint as the hathway broadband customer care and the technicians have been quite annoying for the past week till today. I have a connection under my father's name mr. K. V vijay kumar and my account number is [protected]. Everyday the internet goes offline and when we call the customer service they keep saying that it's a technical error and we have registered complaint. Will get back to you in 24 hours. The 24 hours never come nor the technical or any other kind of issue is still not solved. The above said is the very same dialogues told to me by the customer service agents for the last one week and i'm having the same issue on a daily basis. It's like i'm the consumer paying them the bills on a monthly basis with no fail, but for me to use internet i have to call them everyday. A very unprofessional service provided by the team. This is an indication that they do not have trained technicians or customer service agents in order to value the customer issues and action it out. But the bills arrive on timely manner and even reminders are given accurately even in delay for one day for payment. They claim that they provide number one service in india and they are the best, but in reality they are the worst service i have ever experienced.

                                        Till date I have not got the above issue fixed nor got atleast a courtesy call from the company. Very surprising and tottaly unproffesional.
