    I was using hathway connection from past 2 months.
    The company's representative have proposed me the plan of rs 548 per month and now the appellate authority is refusing it.
    I have made the complaint to the nodal and the appellate department also.
    I have shared the call recordings and everything over mail with the appellate authority of hathway.
    They are accepting their mistake but they are not providing me the committed plan.
    What to do in this case?
    I am really very much frustrated with this behavior.
    Please help me if possible.

    UPDATE:
    First appellate department told me to share the call recording and then they will take the stand for me.

    After sharing the very solid call recording of the proof over mail in which the company representative is clearly saying that the solution which he is proposing is on the recorded line and recording is getting done on both the sides i.e. company's side and my side and you can provide this recording as a proof of commitment to the company.
    This whole conversation has been done from the company's landline number and not from any personal number.
    Now when I provide this call recording proof, then the appellate department is denying to consider that as a proof. Now they want in written.

    This is one of the very strange behavior happened with me in my complete life. Very much surprised by this behavior of the company for just only Rs 826.

    For a national level company like Hathway and in this case where it is shown that the customer is 100% genuine and there is complete mistake of the representative and it is prooved with proof also.
    Still the company is not able to compensate Rs 826. Hats Off to you sir.

    Lets see what happens next.

      Jab mai ne cable operator se kaha ki mai trai ki web se apna package select kar ke dunga.
      To cable operator ne cable cameroon katwa le ne ko kah diya.
      Or cable operator ke pass koi software hai jo channel ki mrp se bhi jada mrp price batata hai. Or cable operator kahta hai ki jo mera computer software mrp price batayega wo hi price mai lunga.

        I am writing this because the new connection not provided yet as promised. I am from chennai and i've reached out to hathway for new connection and one bharath (He introduced himself as manager - sales) ph# 91-[protected]) and we discussed all the clauses and i paid the payment of $2640 (With playbox, static ip & two month subscription) on 08/03/19 and he said installation will be done on friday or the next day (Saturday max). But the next day someone from installation called me and inquired about my address and i provided the same and they told me connection feasibility not available for my location (This was discussed with this guy bharath before i make payment and he did check with that engineer and confirmed that connection is available) and after that only i paid the payment.
        After this, i am trying to reach out to him, but he is not picking up my calls and sending template messages like, "i am in death" "i am in meeting" and not picking the calls.
        Now, i don't know, what happened to my money and what's the status.
        I've to next steps, if i don't receive any updates asap.

        And moreover this is worst customer service from the sales time itself

          I left hathway in 2016

          I submitted a request to disconnect my services on my rented apartment
          All was good and done
          Now i receive calls from hathway and fake lawyers asking for payment
          I have already visited hathway offices several times
          Talked to many senior officials in hathway
          Everyone assured me i dont have any dues and everything is cleares

          But it still seems nothing has happened
          This has continued for the past two years
          I am really sick and tired of hathway now
          Dont expect such gaps in policies and operations from a well renowned establishment

          I will have to sue hathway if this doesn't stop
          I have done everything i can wasting hours of my time
          Followed every protocol there is
          This is the last time i am trying to resolve this. The next step would be an fir against harassment and negligence

            After the change to the cable charge post trai regulations my bill increased to more than 300%. I asked my cable operator to change the channels which i do not use by month of february yet, i got the same bill by february end, which i paid and asked him to make the changes but this month again same bill came. When i asked he is threatining me and my old relatives who stay downstairs with abusive words in front of my neighbors. I told him to disconnect yet he is not discontinuing. I kept on calling the customer support of hathway multiple times, but nobody picks my phone.

              So i bought the connection in the start of feb, account number [protected].
              I paid for three months, but at the end of the first month, i start getting calls and messages to renew the connection. I always explained politely, and all the three agents i spoke to, acknowledged the payment. Fast forward to a week later, and the service stopped. So we called again, and from past 3 days, all we are getting are run around, and everyone is first asking us to pay, then after clarifying says that yes, we see it's paid, it will be activated in either 4 hours, 24 hours or again, 4 hours, but to no avail. Kindly refund the amount on a pro-rata basis or get this resolved. Trying to reach a human in itself is difficult, and then this. Even their complaint register page is not working from past 3 days, and same for the app.

                I just connect with hathway broadband on 04 march 2019 with account id: [protected]. Till then i raised 5 official complain and multiple call to local technician of slow network and not able to connect with multiple device at our end.

                Every time i raised ticket they do some temporally fix and close the ticket. Today i raised ticket for change wire but they arrange a phone call again and they are try doing same steps we are doing from last 5 days (Clear cache and do hard reboot the router when i ask them for permanent solution they repeat the same thing after some words they disconnect the call without any solution of issue.

                Some of your technician give very silly reason like hotstar, amazon prime, netflix and other apps only work fine on branded network give glitch on hathway. Also if net is slow on your laptop your laptop is faulty no matters its work on other networks fine.

                I request them to change cabbing point still they calling and repeating same temp solution again and again.

                It's such a very in professional behavior. It's not expected with brand like hathway. Could you please disconnect my connection and refund total money. It's very painful experience i face using your broadband and its my mistake to choose your network.

                I also mail the same complain to them and they reply with automated response no further action taken.

                  I have observed from last few days that whenever india australia match is going on the screen of dd sposts is stopped i can only see a picture and not live telecast. Rest of the time dd sports is telecast without any stoppage. Today is 4th oneday and same mischief is done/ i would like to know why this is allowed by the cable operator. They want me to buy starsports pack as i have selected ala carte channels.
                  Hathway / Gujarat Telelink [GTPL] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                  GTPL is behaving in its own way with customers and same problem of not DDsport channel was faced by me. I think Govt. also supports GTPL. I posted complaint on www.consumerhelpline.gov.in but not got help. Finally I decided to switch to dish tv.

                    Hathway is pathetic in terms of its service and your franchise/branch office are the worst. Dont have any responsibility for the company image and openly tells the consumer we are not able to do anything if your cable operator is not responding.

                    We stay at kandivali east and sai star hathway provides cable service in our building. Shivsahi is cable operator who is not responding to our calls as we are complaining that are cable is not on.

                      We are having tv channels streaming by gtpl through two set top boxes through sai om enterprises (Operator) having landline phone numbers:[protected];[protected] at our premises being d-601, yudhisthir, n. L. Complex, dahisar east, mumbai, maharastra for which we have being paying the operator rs. 500/- per month in the aggregate where we we getting both fta as well as paid channels [as classified by trai].

                      Last friday, i. E 22.02.2019 an employee of sai om enterprises — on mr. Shankar came over to our house and handed over certain forms listing out the prices of various channels plus fta channels as well as packages [ as per the new norms of trai] and went away saying he would come in a couple of days, explain to us the nuances of the new norms and the selection and charges of channels. However till to-day he did not turn up till we repeatedly called him and he came now at around 6.00 p. M. And explained to us the details of the forms submitted by him to us and stated that the rates and the format of the packages have been modified by sai om enterprises and he would come back to us with the new forms in couple of days.
                      When we inquired of him as to why the streaming of the paid channels have been withdrawn without any notice, he said that gtpl has done it and that i f w have any grievance we should take up the matter with gtpl, hence this mail.
                      (1.) as stated above we were not given any notice by our operator sai om enterprises or for that matter fom gtpl that the channels will be withdrawn without prior intimation
                      (2) sai om enterprises employee did not turn up prior to 28.02.2019 and intimate us of this withdrawal nor did he bother to come and explain to us abut the nuances of the trai changes and the forms provided b y him
                      (3). On inquiry with ms. Anisha, an employee of sai om enterprises we were told that since we had not submitted the duly filled in form we would be getting only the fta cahnnels. Non-submission of forms was not our mistake for the reasons as stated herein
                      In the above circumstances we request you to inquire the attitude and inaction of sai om enterprises and their audacity to ask us to take up the matter with gtpl for their inaction and depriving us of the paid channels. Now also after repeatedly phoning the employee of sai om enterprises came without the new form and said we should continue to watch only fta channels and we will get the paid channels only after we submit to them the signed forms which is ridiculous. How can the channels be withdrawn without notice. Isn't this ridiculous!!! Now even if we fill the form and submit the charges will be collected from us from 1.03.2019 though there is no transmission of paid channels from 1.03.2019 on one set top box. Is it justifiable to pay for something you have not got?.
                      Since we have two set top boxes the personnel of sai om enterprises said '"since you have two set top boxes on one box we have provided all channels and on another we have provided only fta channels" what nonsense is this? Why are we being penalised because we have two set top boxes and for no reason o[censored]s?
                      Local operator is giving the trouble as stated in the first mail till now the local operator nor his person have neither contacted us nor provided us with the revised tariff packages despite promising to contact and provide the same within 2 days from last saturday and the situation of withdraw of channels still continues wil you do something in the matter either directly or through yoir local office/unit or should we switch over to other service provider and report all the above to trai and the public at large about our operator, gtpl's inabilibilty to look into our grievance, the harrasment and inconvenience caused to us, deficiency of service and failure on the part of gtpl to resolve the issue?

                      Why do you give such standard reply? Is it programmed that way OR are you people really "nuts"?
                      It seems you have either not understood my problem NOR you are making any efforts/attempt to understand and resolve. my problem I repeat local operator not co-operating, hence request you to direct your local unit to look into the matter and resolve the issue This is my last request to you failing which I shall have to pull you up for deficiency of service and harassment which Pl. note . Hope better sense will prevail and you will take immediate action

                        I want to inform you that here in ahmedabad, gujarat, there is a problem regarding cable tv rule. Gtpl has not command on their cable operators. Cable operator denied to start my cable tv at basic price 153 rupees/month. I have already lodge a complaint in gtpl also and it has been more than three days still gtpl didn't not succeed to give me satisfying reply and still my cable tv is not working.                         Hi,

                        I had received a call from mr hemanth saxena ([protected]) who introduced as consumer court official on 8th march around 3.45 pm. He told that one case in delhi consumer court had filed against me vide dl - 302. Then inturn asked me to callback one mr kishore advocate regarding the particulars of the case. Mr kishore's number as given by hemant saxena is [protected].

                        I called mr kishore k on the number which had been given by hemant saxena, he threatened that case has reached him and asked me to pay the amount regarding modem cost or court will penalise rs. 25, 000 then he also confirmed that no payment is due from my side except for surrendering of modem.

                        At this point of time mr kishore threatened me over phone and course of action will be taken and i also told take any action as there was no notice received regarding surrendering of modem as such i had surrendered everything as part of my earlier closure 4 years back. This is sheer harassing and ill-treating customer. I have no words to express this abysmal behavior of your companies proceedings and i am flabbergasted.

                        His words directly impacted my health condition as i was undergoing treatment for vertigo (Total giddiness from 5th march 2019 onwards) and this incident made condition critical and had to visit hospital again.

                        Acknowledge the complaint and resolve the same immediately otherwise i will be left with no option than going against you legally.

                          Its all fake. GTPL doesn't allow you to select your own channels. I fought too hard but it seems that current Govt. also support them so they dont care of anyone and behave of their own. Better you go for dish tv or airtel.

                            As my complain on 6th feb 2019 regarding shifting my broadband service still i dont get any solution from your side.

                            Now i request you to please refund my diffrence money from 6th feb to last date of pack validity.

                            As i m using your servics since last 4 years, i dont expected from your worst service ever.

                            So please refund my money now i dont want to shift my broadband nd i want to refund my money back.

                            I call to your customer care and they said your request has been closed due to you not pay the charge of shifting.

                            How can it will be possible that no any person come to your home for any payment so how can you closed the request.

                            Please solve this matter as early as possbile or i can take this matter at higher level.

                            For your refrence i attach the screenshot of your feedback regarding solution on dated 6-2-19 of my complain nd still dont get any solution from your side.

                              My account number [protected] in the name o[censored]sha panwar, was deactive for last 4 months and their team took the modem and router as well,

                              I got call from one of their sales executive regarding a plan of 3+1 (4 months) with 10mbps unlimited speed costing 1850inr,

                              I did the payment on 8 march 2019 and informed the sales executive, she told me that modem and router will be allotted anyhow by 9 march 2019,

                              It's been more then 24 hours since i did the payment, no one has visited to install router and modem for my connection and start it.

                              I am calling continuously the sales executive as well and she is telling me that the team from mumbai had not forwarded the response to install the modem and router.

                              I want my connection to get stated today on 9 march2019 anyhow as i am a working freelancer and had to incur loss due to them, or they should refund my money.

                                Dear sir /ma'am

                                I selected only colors kannada but cable cable operators filled 100 channels spaces with default free to air channels as i must want colors kannada i must purchase extra 20channels space then what's the use of making trai regulation which is pay only for which channel you watch
                                This is really disappointing please try to solve the issue as soon as possible
                                Hathaway option is not updated there we can't pay amount

                                  Hi team,

                                  I am writing this email to escalate my concern, the issue i faced because of improper response of your customer service team and from your payment collection team.

                                  First i got call from your payment collection team, and i informed them that i wanted to make payment even i will make in a min. but what i want is at the time of taking connection because of the false promises of your sales agent i called customer support for cancelling the connection that time some lady told me that sir don't disconnect the connection in your next renewal we will be providing you additional benefit like 2 month extra in the same renewal charges.

                                  So i asked you payment collection team for that, where they asked me to be on call while they discuss with there senior. i was on hold and she disconnected the call.

                                  later yesterday when i called your customer support agent Miss prasanna told that she will be arranging call from escalation team ASAP, and those people also didn't turned up.

                                  All delay in payment is happening because of improper calls done by your payment collection team, 1st Lady who gave me this false promise, Sales guy who pulled me in trap by false promises, your payment collection team after informing they doesn't seems interested in retaining customer or resolving their concern, your customer support team who are unprofessional in resolving customer's issue, and giving false commitment.

                                  Please let me know how i can share the call recording. which proves that how hathway ask customer to renew the connection by providing false offer, and once the payment has been done theses people are denying for the same.

                                  i dont understand how any of the company do this. fraud.

                                      Internet automatically disconnects every few hours. Technicians says need to change routers, but he never came back.

                                      The sales guy does not pickup the call. I call the head officer, now does not pickup the call.
                                      I call service center many times, but no body come to check the issue.

                                      I ordered high speed internet with so much money
                                      Just paid thousands of but waste of money, i need refund
                                      I just order this connection few days ago.

                                      Can someone help me
