It is disgusting to have a message "please call your cable operator/hathway office to subscribe to this channel (4)" being flashed on most of the channels for the last 10 days, when we have selected the a-la-carte channels online.
Seem to have discontinued their toll-free number[protected], and there is no response on their landline[protected] either. The voice response system leads to an indefinite wait for 'busy executive'
The complaint register menu on official site also do not function.
Local malad office person, mr dinkar is also not able to give a favourable response. He only keeps assuring that the matter will get sorted in the next two days' time.
Customer feedback menu on one site, does not display the capta code to submit form for redressal.

    Hi there,
    I have made the payment to hathway cable service provider through their website and got the confirmation through email & sms confirmation of the payment. The selected channels are from the al-la-carte options available in their website options. But the options that i have selected are still not working.
    The receipt number: hat6283861d23406
    Tried calling the customer care, no one responds to the call. Visited the local service provider office the response was call customer care we have no idea of this.
    Please resolve this asap

      I have connection in gtpl very long back suddenly i have transferred from ahmedabad to modasa for job i transfer my connection to modasa and paid 1 year payment in advance for the same. But suudenly chennal network is pathetic and network not coming for 1 or more time in thrice time.
      Suddenly my connection is closed in month of 1 feb and i have visited the local office and person was told me that your connection is starting in half and hour time and you have to select packaje for the same. I am ok with that but more two day's my connection is not started and i want to new connection urgently setup at home.
      I want to my refund amount of which i pay in advance.

        I am a hathway customer from bangalore. I am getting no response from the team in bangalore. Not even the toll free number. I tried reaching the mumbai number displayed as well but with no success.

        I also recharged for my tv cable connection through your website. But to no avail. We received an sms saying thanks for renewal but at the website, i observe that the amount has added up to the wallet. I am receiving any channel other than fta set. The area representative says we should not have paid online. Please resolve the issue for me. Or arrange for return of money paid

          I have been using hathway from 2017 and was happy with the service. I had to cancel the account while shifting within the city. The customer care has mentioned that i will get my refund once the modem is returned. I cancelled by connection and an engineer has collected the modem from my new address.
          Now the hathway team is mentioning a crf which says that refund can be processed only if i had stayed in the network for 3 years. I haven't signed on any crf form and the sales/service has never mentioned about the 3 year lock in for the refund.

          I have been following up via email to [protected]@hathway.net. This is cheating the consumer by holding the information from consumer and creating a fictitious crf form.

            My a/c with hathway cable tv in bangalore many hd channels there is no such channel appearing ac/ no [protected] have been complaining from 12th feb but no resolution after paying rs 800/- also will i still be charged for nfc while these 18 channels (Hd * 2) is not coming for last 10 days

              Endless spam calls by customer service for renewal of internet connection. Even though i had requested for deactivation the day my 3 month plan ended.

              I had to repeat the same thing everytime that i got called by customer care and they all gave me false promises that they will update in their system to remove my number.

              I even personally visited their head office in kamla mills lower parel, the lady at the concerned department took action on my request and after a few days the modem was collected from my office and we were given a acknowledgement slip.

              I personally told her that my number be removed promptly from their subscription list and i was completely broken down after endless internet renewal calls even though i had no interest in it.

              All i want is for hathway to stop irritating me with their spam calls. I shall never recommend any hathway services to even my enemies. Its just plain torture.

              Hathway customer care are "blatant liars." and the calls recording they keep for quality purpose can prove it.

                I have subscribed for yearly package with agrawal cable malad and now most channels are not showing and no one is picking up my calls at agrawal cable and i have no clue how to proceed further to get access of all channels and who is responsible for my loss of money due to yearly subscription and since 1 week i have no access to all the channels. Only colors channel is available. Request you to take immediate action to resolve and teach your distributors (Agrawal cable) to respond to customer querry

                  Took hathway connection on Dec 13th 2018 for 6 months.Paid entire Amount 3172.00 in Cash and also received confirmation from them that Transaction is successful. After 3 months they suspended account stating my amount got reversed.Following from the Past 1 week and there is no proper response.

                    I have received call on monday 18.02.19 from Billing department of Hathway to renew the broadband account as it was expiring in 3 days. The lady executive talked about the plans and suggested to make payment through Paytm or debit card or Net Banking. She kept the call live till the payment was made. Hoewver, I have not received any email or sms confirmation about the payment made till next day, I called to Hathway broadband customer care no. 6713 4600. After continuous, request from me, the executive lodged a complaint for the said matter. The said complaint was unattended till 21.02.19, and I was receiving message/ mails intimating the renewal of plan expiring on 20.02.19. Hence, I called to above mentioned no. and asked executive why the said complaint is showing closed without attending the said matter and my confirmation? He didnot transferred the call to his senior, but disconnected the call. So, I once again called to same no. Some Mr. Rahil was attending the call. He misbehaved in the starting, but after my questioning about such manner of attending to customers, and after so much time passing, he transferred call to his senior Mr. Abhishek- Floor Manager.

                    Mr. Abhishek started the conversation in soft manner, but as I raised the issue of closing my complaint, he also started answering in rough manner. He was not ready to accept the matter. Senior Executive Mr. Abhishek was not ready to accept lodging complaint against behaviour of his junior executives.

                    Whether this so called No.1 company trains its executives to behave in such manner??? Whether this company feels that once the money is received, customer is victim? Why?

                    Urgent action required against such companies and their staff and the department head who recruits such staff and gives such training.

                      I want to inform to you that i had selected bouquet of sony "happy india 39 (A) (10 channels) before 15 days ago. But still i am not getting complete channels on my tv screen from this bouquet. I have many time informed to local cable operator but not get any solution. The statement of local cable operator is" we are unable to solve such type of error please contact to hathway's customer support. After that i tried to talk to many time customer care on this number[protected] then i received reply very roodly "so what do i".

                      According to sony broadcaster bouquet in this bouquet " happy india 39 (A) channels will be provide mentioned below :-

                        I have closed the broadband service.in october. Still the refund of router not received. Raised a complaint on customer care they had raised a request and they said that they will get back the refund in 45 days. Still they have completed their 45 days. Complaint raised but not actioned on time. Very very poor service. Please actioned it as fast as you can.

                        It's been a month that Internet stopped working and informed to disconnect the connection but still we getting calls from Hathway regarding to recharge it.                           Hathway is charging taxes on mrp rates prescribed by trai and furthermore they are offering hd channels @ twice the sd rates which is against the trai regulations. Pfa the rate card of hathway and foot note in particular for your perusal.

                          Say, if i choose sony sd channel for e. G. Hathway is charging rs.19 + charges (3.42)=rs.23 in total whereas the trai fixed max. Retail price (M. R. P) is rs.19 only (Which is inclusive of taxes).

                          Further, if i choose, say sony hd, they charge twice the sd channels i. E. Rs.43 as mentioned in the footnote of the rate card of hathway attached below. Here also for hd, they charge double of what trai has prescribed in their website.

                          I raise this complaint for the perusal of trai and necessary action.

                            Hi,

                            I wanted to shift my hathway account [protected] connection to my new address. I requested them to get me connected to another address on 31st dec and no one contacted me until a week. I had to take a connection from another service provider. I spoke to their hathway person and told him the problem but was never advised that i need to terminate my services with them.. One of their person calls me today to threaten me to make the overdue bill amount payment? Or i would get legal notices

                            Why will i make the payment when i have not used your service from january onwards. He has advised me to get my services terminated and i will have to pay for the termination fee.
                            First of all you dont give the connection and then ask for money for services that i am not using.
                            The person who spoke to me was pathetic he had no idea about my request and was only after the money.

                            Pathetic service. I have requested for termination lets see how long do they take to do this. May be after a decade i guess.

                            I am still receiving harassment calls from your legal team threatening to make payments. Whereas sometime ago i waa just contact by hathway saying do not worry you do not have to make any payment they wil send someone to collect the modem and disconnect the services.. Can the two different departments be in sync and stop harassing me..

                              My Hathway broadband account number is [protected] ( at Wakad, Pune) . I have requested the company to close this account more than a month ago. But daily I get nonsense call to renew my account by a month or 3 months. I want Hathway to come and collect the Modem Device, but instead irritatingly these guys keep calling repeatedly asking to renew the account.

                              When I ask them what happened to my disconnect request, each such person says I will raise a complaint but I think there is no concept of closing account in Hathway.

                              Kindly arrange to stop these renewal calls as I am now totally frustrated with Hathway and will never even suggest Hathway broadband to any other person.

                              The same thing has happened with me as well. i personally visited a hathway office in lower parel mumbai. even after personal guarantee by the employee that the renewal calls will stop, they did not stop.

                              what you said about hathway not having the conecpt of closing account is true. each time i got the same response " that they will update it in the system and i will not received further renewal calls".

                              all were just blatant lies conveyed in a soft voice.i dont understand why hathway doesnt work on improving its horrible customer service and internet connection.

                              all i want is for hathway to disappear from my life.

                              More than 10 days gone and I still haven't received any call from anyone in hathway to collect the Router and close my Hathway Broadband account.

                              Luckily though I got only one call for renewal in past 10 days. Tried logging into their Webpage using my account number and see if I missed on any account closure formalities, but do not see any concept of Account closure procedures at all.

                              i think these responses are computer generated, its been over a month and still no solution to my problem.

                              i still keep getting calls from hathway but only once or twice a day which is a good thing i guess.

                              luckily i have truecaller and they show up as spam numbers so i dont have to deal with listening to thier lying voices.

                              so funny they keep asking for hathway account number when instead they should take the initiative and go ask in their offices for complaints registered by the respective people.

                              they think we will leave our job and life to follow their ### corporate rules and logic..

                                Dear team, i am k. Gupta, availing hathway broadband internet services, with customer id: [protected]. Hathway service provider has promised me 3 months + 1 month offer to me at the time of connection but now they didn't reply to mail and online query request. This is not expected from such kind of big service providers. They exactly cheated to people who have taken their connection with faith and later on they just deny.

                                I'm customer of hathway from Karnataka (Gadag)
                                I have subscribed channels from 4/2/19.paying Rs. 515.for selected channels through local cable operator.
                                Since yesterday many subscribed channels aren't available. This is nothing but cheating.

                                Request to take corrective steps.

                                  We have already made our selection of channels as per new rules and have submitted the same to our local cable operator alongwith the required subscription amount but still we are not getting few of the channels like sony tv, sab tv, zee tv and few more. Called the operator so many times even visited their office also but nothing has been done till now.

                                  Really disappointing. Wish to change our connection in the coming month. Worst service from the current cable operator

                                  You will have to pay high if you go with GTPL. They are demanding Rs. 390/- in our Gujarat, the same pack as per TRAI new rules should be available with less than 300 Rs.

                                    My local provider Monami Enterprises ( 38J, Raja Manindra Road. Kolkata 700037. Ph - [protected] / [protected]) which is under GTPL is straight out refusing to give channels to us a la carte according to TRAI mandate & is forcing us to take packs which don't even contain the channels we want.

                                    What good is the order by TRAI if cable operators can simply refuse and force us to take packages?? They have switched off most of the channels and are showing only a few FTA channels. Calling GTPL customer care is useless as they never pick up the phone. And they are refusing to take forms with selected channels.

                                    We are under much trouble and please do something about it. This kind of arm twisting is going on and even telling them we will complain is answered by do what you want.

                                        Hello Hathway,

                                        I am Manohar Newalkar from Worli, Mumbai Aera. my hathway service is disconnected from Friday 15 February 2019 despite we paid annual subscription till September 2019.
                                        Please refer my payment receipt in attachment. I paid full one year subscription from 8th september 2018.
                                        though i got following due payment in my account.

                                        please give me full explanation why this is balance showed in my account. i am quite sure i did not left any balance as hathway disconnect service immediately after last day of subscription. there is no such balance should left as per my billing history and your methods.
                                        my service still disconnect and i am not able to watch TV though i paid and now i am surprise that i have negative balance in my account which was not there during my last payment.
                                        please resolve this issue as soon as possible. My money is wasted during this time.

                                        Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        Even my account shows a negative balance (Rs -649) and I too opted for a monthly Royal HD pack.
                                        in brief, I paid for the, moth of Feb and the service was running as it was. Suddenly due to individual broadcaster selection and alacarte mess, the service stopped in between and I had to select either each channel or each pack separately.
                                        This service ran about for about 3 weeks and now it stopped yesterday. Moreover it shows -649 /- in balance.
