No prior intimation and no information provided about blocking the important channels. Even my area cable operator stopped picking up the phone. This is always really annoying services from GTPL.

    I had hathway broadband connection way back in 2016 at bangalore. I had to move out of bangalore in jan 2017, so called hathway customer service a week before my movement to check if connection can be transferred to new location which is outside bangalore. They mentioned it is not possible for outside bangalore, so requested for service disconnection.

    Many a times i received call from their customer service for renewal, i used to tell them that this service was requested for disconnection then why i'm receiving this renewal call. They state it will be updated now.

    In feb 2019, i received call from [protected] stating there is legal notice filed against me for not returning modem. Why their executive didn't come to collect the modem when requested for disconnection? Never during the renewal call, i was informed to return the modem. After 2 years i'm asked to pay modem amount online or face legal action.

      We bought royal package and paid 12 month's payment in advance to gtpl which cost me 4070 rs. (11+1 month) there is a trai's rule change and now customer needs to pay as per their selection. They did not informed and they changed my default package to gujarati package with some auto update. And we are unable to watch few channels since few days.

      We tried contacting customer care to resolve issue with registering complaint and visited its local branch as well because we didn't get any solution on phone. Tried calling many times on customer care but they couldn't provide solution.
      It is their duty to inform customer before automatically updating their subscription plan.
      I asked them to start my market channels as i am share market active professional and i had already paid in advance, my work is dependent on it.
      I had wrost frustrating experience with gtpl customer care as even they don't have any idea what is going with the company's auto update on and how to resolve the issue.
      Even they have provided non working customer care numbers on their site which took so much time to find any working number to reach them.

      It was very disturbing experience contacting with gtpl customer care service.
      I need my money back for the days my channel didn't work and i want resolution asap.

      please check you gtpl package amount .. That take package 390 rs but your rule 294 only.. So please take a responsibility for that.
      The gtpl is more chrges for channel no provide channels selection and not follow ing by TRAI Rules & REGULATION charge more then 100 rs. Extra by selection his package they are no choice for any channel selection by trai only select package from GTPL .
      My last date to recharge my account is 13th
      Account number is 1364859.
      I have complaint so many time on customer support and via e-mail. Still i am not getting any resolutions on this. Please see attached print screens. I have all e-mails and ticket numbers. There is no satisfactory solution received from GTPL Broadband.

        I paid my internet bill on jan31st of amount 3831 through upi. Also i confirmed from the bank that amount is credited to beneficiary account.
        But hathway customer care are saying everyday the amount is not reflected and we will resolve it soon. But its already eight days over from the payment and i am not sure what information more than transaction reference number, amount and date they can expect from me.

          I have a hathway broadband account (Ac no [protected]). I have shifted to a new location (Within 5km radius) and tried to shift my hathway connection from old location to new. I was been told by hathway that they dont have connectivity in that area. So i asked for a refund and surprisingly they said they cannot refund me my money back. Now i am at a loss as hathway is not giving me refund as they said that they do not have their services and internet connectivity will again cost me as i have to get a new service provider. This is simply waste of my hard earn money.

            Hi all,
            I have taken hathway broadband of account number [protected]. I have taken 3 months package and not even a month completed, it got stopped i have checked all the connections and after confirming that there is no problem from my side i tried to contact them. They didn’t even pick up the call after my numerous attempts to reach them. This is not the first time i am facing issue with hathway it has become a habit to call them once in three months. Hope they will come out with a solution for the issue.

            Connection drops every few minutes. It disconnects after few minutes of connection. Irritating to reconnect every couple of minutes

              Speed is very slow for wetransfer and many more sites for download

              i am using 40 mbps plan and i only get 120 kbps average speed,

              first i think that it was site problem but when i connect to jio speed is far away
              1.3 mbps so no site problem in jio only problem is in GTPL so please fix it as soon as possible

              i have already complain 4 days ago but as i make complain the second message was complain resolved means closed

                  Hi,

                  I have consumed hathway broadband from july 2017 to september 2018 and migrated some other location in chennai with closing of this connection.

                  Surrendered router and adaptor by getting a acknowledgement receipt (Attached here). The hathway engineer told me that our hathway people will call you against the repayment within a week. But still now i didn't get any calls. Even i have been calling hathway custom care number[protected] last two weeks. They said our billing people will call you within 48 hours. Still, i'm not getting any calls regarding this issue.

                  Initially i have paid "thank you for paying rs. 1570. Your transaction id for this payment is r-8280588".

                    આજ તા.૨.૨.૧૯ થી જીટીપીએલ વાળા ઓ એ ટ્રાઇ (ટેલીકોમ રેગ્યુલેટરી ઓથોરીટી ઓફ ઇન્ડીયા) ના નિયમ અનુસાર નવિ પેકેજ સિસ્ટમ લાગુ કરી છે

                    જે કેહવા ખાતર ટ્રાઇ ના નિયમ અનુસાર છે પણ હકિકત માં તો જીટીપીએલ તો પોતાનીજ મનમાની કરી રહ્યુ છે

                    કઇ રીતે ? આવો સમજીએ

                    ટ્રાઇ ના નિયમ અનુસાર

                    રુપીયા ૧૩૦ + GST=૧૫૩ માં કુલ ૧૦૦ ફ્રિ ટુ એર ચેનલ આવશે જેમા દુરદર્શન DD ની ૨૫ અને બાકી GTPL અને લોકલ મળી કુલ ૫૦ જેવી ચેનલ ફરજીયાત છે અને બાકીની ૫૦ માંથી ગ્રાહક પસંદ કરી શકસે...તથા જો વધારાની ફ્રિ ટુ એર ચેનલો જોવી હોય તો દર ૨૫ ચેનલે ૨૦ રુપીયા + GST લાગસે તથા બાકીની જે પે ચેનલો છે તેમાથી પસંદ કર્યા મુજબ પૈસા ચુકવ્વા ના રહેશે જેના ઉપર GST લાગસે (આ સરકારી નીતી વાળો નીયમ આપણે સમજ્યા)

                    હવે સમજીએ જીટીપીએલ ની મનમ‍ાની

                    સમજાયુ મિત્રો...આ રીતે રુપીયા ૧૩૦ + GST=૧૫૩ માં જે જીટીપીએલ કહે તે આપણે જોવાનુ જે સરકાર અને ટ્રાઇ નાં નીયમ નો ઉલ્લંઘન છે
                    ટ્રાઇ નાં નીયમ મુજબ ગ્રાહક તેજ ચેનલ નાં પૈસા આપશે જે તે જોવા માંગે છે નહી કે ઓપરેટર ની મરજી મુજબની ચેનલો માટે
                    અને આ ૨૦ રુપીયા દર ૨૫ ફ્રિ ટુ એર માટે હતા ...પણ જીટીપીએલ ની લુચ્ચાઇ જુઓ પે ચેનલો ઉપર પણ ૨૦ રુપીયા વસુલવા માંડયા
                    અને ઘણી જગ્યાએ તો કેબલ ઓપરેટર GTPL નાં બનાવેલા આખા પેકેજ પસંદ કરવા ગ્રાહક ને દબાણ કરે છે ...કહેછે "૧...૧ ચેનલ પસંદ કરશો એમ નહી થાય"

                    મિત્રો...ટ્રાઇ નાં ચેરમેન ખુદ કહે છે કે તેઓ એ આ નવિ નિતી નિયમો ગ્રાહક હિત ને ધ્યાને રાખીને બનાવેલ છે જેથી નક‍ામી લાગુ ન પડતી ચેનલ ગ્રાહક ને પરાણે ન ચોટાડવામાં ન આવે અને ગ્રાહક ને જે જોવી હોય તે જોય શકે

                    પરંતુ હાલ જીટીપીએલ જે રીતે પોતાના પેકેજ લેવા ગ્રાહક ને દબાણ કરે છે તે કઇ રીતે યોગ્ય ઠેરવી શકાય?
                    તો ટ્રાઇ ના નિયમનો શું અર્થ? કારણ કે પેકેજ તો પહેલા પણ હતા અને હવે તો અેનાથી પણ મોંઘા બન્યા છે

                    આ બાબતે આવો આપણે સૌ એક થઇને આ નીતીનો વિરોધ કરીએ અને ટ્રાઇ નાં નિયમ મુજબ ૧૦૦ ફ્રિ ચેનલ માંથી ચેનલ પસંદ કરવાનો આપણો હ્ક્ક માંગીએ તથા રુ. ૨૦ ચાર્જ દર ૨૫ પેઇ ચેનલ ઉપર નો વિરોધ કરીએ

                    અેકતા ની શક્તિ થી બધુજ શક્ય છે આવો સાથે મળી જીટીપીએલ નાં નોડલ અોફિસર ને આ બાબતે ફરીયાદ કરીએ

                      There was blatant misrespresntation by one of the employees of the company who convinced us to shift our modem from one name to the other. The modem was shifted from the aforementioned account to a new account but there was no formal recording of the fact that the modem from the aforementoined account was returned. Now there are demands for payment of fine for that particular modem which was shifted to another account name and was then returned. We now have to pay money due to the negligence of one of the employees and with no fault of ours.in addition to this, we have faced threats on call which are unacceptable.

                          I am living in tri nagar delhi 110035 and we have cable connection of Hathaway cable. So our local kanton cable operator is charging Rs130 for 100 free channels as the basic package and for chargeable channels the amount would be added on the basic package of rs130. As per the government rules there is no charge for the free channels so kindly take necessary action against them for making fool to public.

                            This is with respect to the new tv rules implemented by trai with effect from 28th december 2018.
                            I am a hathway digital tv customer from mumbai.
                            Many sony channels are not available in the hathway a-la carte list on the hathway website as well as in the 'my hathway' app. For example: sony pix, sony ten 1, sony ten 2 are not included in the list.
                            I want to select sony pix but when i search for sony pix, i can only see sony pix hd but not sony pix sd.
                            Also hathway has removed a lot of broadcaster bouquets from its channel selection list. For example : sony has mentioned 28 bouquets on its website (Sony pictures) but only 4-5 bouquets are available on hathway.
                            This has caused a lot of confusion among customers while deciding the channels as we are unable to select our favourite sony channels.

                              मैं gtpl का ग्राहक रहा हूँ.दिनांक 05/02/19 से हमारे कनेक्शन से लगभग सभी पे चैंनल को
                              हटा दिया गया है.जब मैने एजेंसी के आदमी को संपर्क किया कि हमे अपने मर्जी के चैंनल चुने का अधिकार दे, तो उसने माना कर दिया और gtpl का फिक्स दर का पैक लेने को कहा.
                              यह हमलोगों से साथ धोखा हो रहा है. हम लोगो को यह लाभ नही मिल रहा है.
                              कृपया आप इसकी संज्ञान ले.

                                Hi,

                                I used hathway internet 1 year back which is a postpaid connection. I requested to disconnect the service while i was facing lot of connectivity issues. However no response from hathway. So i requested to close the connection and they said ok. However i keep on receiving bills every month over email and every month i raised a support case over email and there was no reponse from them. Finally i got a message as below today:

                                Legal notice has been sent to user xxxxxxxxx for hathway broadband a/c no.[protected] plz pay immediately rs9031.56 to avoid further legal action. For any query cont legal team [protected], [protected]

                                Why should i pay the amount if i had not used the service at all. Also these people did not call initial months and calling now after raising bill which are more than rs. 10000 +. I complained to stop connection and it was the failure of hathway support to stop connection irrespective of multiple reminders to stop connection and hathway send the legal notice to me now?. I had proofs of all emails in my mail box which i had requested to stop the connection. I am not ready to pay amount as i had not used the service.

                                  Worst internet and worst customer service. I have been calling since a month no resolution at all. Just hearing from their executives stating that we will call you back end of the day no response it’s been a month now. Mentally harassed by hathway. Just ruining people’s money but no proper service. Horrible customer service and fake promises. Yesterday i received a call from so called supervisor shyam /sham who dint even know what’s my issue and called. He dint even have any resolution for my issues. Such a pathetic service

                                    Channels blocked. Did not intimate the trai new payments for channels to choosen nor provided the message regarding stoppage of channels.
                                    Not providing the news regarding the choosing of channels & asking the monthly payments to make in advance without any receipt. They did not even send authorized person to choose any channels or share the plans of the said company. Also not providing the detailed price of the channels provided by the company which they are asking to make payment in advance.
                                    Kindly do the needful.

                                      Hi Team, I have applied for new broadband connection from hathway on 29th jan 2019 paid on the same day at 3:10 pm as directed by their service provider through upi qr code scan in their ISP. Hathway portal. After payment they are simply not responding to the service by showing reason. Amount not affected to account. I have transaction reference number transaction id and confirmation from upi site and all . Attaching all the proofs here. When I call them every time they are saying 24 hours. It's been 8 days till now no response at all. Even I sent mail communication to entire hathway team even though no response from them. Please help me with this.

                                      Hathway is making wrong statements like payment not done but my banker statement also showing me the upi transaction information which is done to hathway upi account.please have a look on it. Payment is completed successfully from my end. And Payment credited to hathway upi account. Please help me with this.

                                        Hi Team,

                                        We have shifted to a new home and so we need to shift our Internet Connection also.
                                        It has been more than a week we have sent emails with address proof and also called the customer care several times but there is no response.
                                        There is no proper response even from the customer care and our money is getting wasted due to non usage of the internet.

                                        We need immediate action on this considering i cannot work without internet. Can you please look into this matter.
