I am writting this to let you know that, i am suffering a business lost due to poor connectivity issue from last one month. Till a date i have lost so many business due to poor connectivity issues.
I have complaint almost every day since last month till today on telephonic but i have getting not responsive feedback, Even a technical person who come to visit here also unable to rectify. It would be get connected for couple of hours after his visit and started to facing a same issue of poor connectivity or dis- connectivity.
It seems they only care customers at the time of renewal of service. As i have requested now if they unable to provide good service as i have been told (Speed of 10 MBPS), its totally fake cause some time even service is so poor that email account also unable to open.
SO, i urge you to refund my money for remaining year as i can join some good service provided and get exit from this poor service provider even say worst service provider.
SO, Kindly looking for co-operation from your Side to allow genuine customer to get money back due to poor service to prevent losses of their business if they unable to provide good service as well as customer support.

    Legal notice has been sent to user nakul saligram for hathway broadband a/c no.[protected] plz pay immediately rs2896.46 to avoid further legal action. For any query cont legal team [protected], [protected]

    I am not able to get the people on the number i am out of the country and there is no address on google i had cut my connection in 2015 and explained to hathaway still no response but still keep getting sms

      I have raised a ticket, regarding (3+1) offer last Monday. But I did not get a proper response till now. When I contacted the customer care service,
      they pointed me to another team and when i questioned regarding the service they again pointed me to another team. Even when I asked to connect to higher official, the call gets disconnected after 15 minutes waiting time.
      Even after repeated request of callback option was initiated from my side, it did not happen one time also. I thought the service of hathway was way better than other service providers, but I was very much disappointed and depressed due to the false promises given by your team regarding promotion of (3+1) offer.
      I definitely need compensation for the disappointment and depression that i had gone through these 1 week, also I need an explanation for below questions.

      1. Why the (3+1) offer was not initiated as per your advertisement and promotions?
      2. When I contacted the customer care, they said tat, it will be reactivated after the approval of higher officials, but to my surprise it was not done for the past 1 week. why?
      3. what compensation would I get for the carelessness and ignorance which resulted in stoppage of service for the past 1 week, even though I have paid for the offer?

      I need an immediate response for my queries and my problem has to me sorted out with immediate effect.

        Dear hathway,

        Since i am no longer your customer. Is this new way of harrassing people? I have already surrendered my modem why is this being sent to me. Kindly check internally before even attempting to send such notice. Also we customer pay deposit for using modem it is not used as free? Why have you guys not been dancing and calling me when you wanted to get my account? Don't ever try to harass me again.

        Hathway sent a leagal notice to me to pay 547 rs. But I have used prepaid connection so why I need to pay the amount. I have also made request for termination of the connection but they did not terminate my connection.

          I have closed my hathway account 2 years back when i returned the modem/device and dues at that time. I also dropped a mail to hathway team to terminate the connection which they acknowledged.

          I didn't receive anything for almost over a couple of years but now all of a sudden, i am getting calls from delhi court saying that legal notice has been sent to me for unpaid dues. Why should i paid any money when i have not used your services. It is your company fault for not closing the connection on time.

          Can someone please help me what to do on this issue?

            Im from delhi and im using hathway broadband 50mbps package. Due to some problem im getting speed of 10mbps. I called customer care but they all are there just to make you fool. They don't care about you. I told them about my problem but they keep on ignoring. I asked them to send some technicians but it's been 2 months since they keep on telling me that they put my request on emergency basis. I have called like 100 or more times but these # as* never solved my problem. I'm totally wasting my time and now i'm gonna switch over. Just want to file this complaint

              Hi,

              I would like to suggest you that, pleae dont go with hathway broadband. Please read my below experience.

              I have taken the hathway briafbandr one month before. I have paid 2758 rs in online. The amount has not been reflected, customer care responded. I have raised a complaint on 31 aug 2018, still these people are working on mt issue. Every day i am following these people s, they are saying that within 24 hrs problem wil be resolved. Everyday i am hearing the same answer. Lol... When i ask the customer care to transfer the call to manager, they arr transferring the call.. But after some times the call disconnected.. Its not often.. Its regularly...

                I requested address change and its been 6 days already, i called them each day and they made excuse it takes 4-5 days to change address and everyday when i ask them to let me speak to a supervisor they said supervisor are busy i will arrange a call back within 1 hour but i never got a callback.. They are pathetic internet service providors among all i have used..

                  Paid all bills and discontinued services, still receiving bills every month.

                  I had a hathway broadband connection from august 2016 to june 2017 in mumbai at lower parel. After that, i moved to kolkata and asked the service provider to discontinue the services. I paid all the pending bills upto july. However, till date, i am receiving the bills from hathway asking me to pay them immediately. They have even threatened me to take legal action against me.

                  I have dropped multiple mails to them (At [protected]@hathway.net, govind. [protected]@hcspl.net, [protected]@hathway.net) asking them to disconnect this connection. However, the issue still persist.

                  Request you to intervene and save me from any financial and mental harassment caused because of this.

                    We are constantly receiving threatening calls and messages from hathway that they have sent a legal notice for an unpaid bill. I am not in the country and have not been using hathway for many years.
                    Whenever i am in india, i pay for the plan/months i am going to use the connection and the plans stops on the date it is supposed to stop.

                    We have never received any invoice or any bill via email or phone call ever that we have to pay anything. We shouldn't have to pay anything.

                    Message:
                    Legal notice has been sent to user xxxxxxxxx for hathway broadband a/c no.[protected] plz pay immediately rs. 1821.94 to avoid further legal action. For any query cont legal team [protected], [protected]

                    Why should i have pay the amount if i had not used the service at all. I am not ready to pay amount as i had not used the service. Moreover my connection was prepaid.

                      Hi team,

                      I have been receiving spam calls from a person saying that they are from delhi court asking me to pay the broadband bill which was closed in 2016. I had informed hathway team to close the connection earlier itself and i even deposited the modem, device and unpaid dues at that time, for which i have receipts too. Its your company fault for not closing the connection on time.

                      After 2016 i have not received any calls from hath way about this issue. As of a sudden today they called me and threatening me

                      Can some one please help me what to do on this issue?

                      No need to worry almost every hathway customer is getting such calls . Those people are absolute fraud . It would be help full if you could keep marking those numbers as spam calls so others will be aware . After reading various complain forums, I guess hathway has sold its closed connection details to some third party fraud company .
                      Yesterday I had received a similar call, where the callers informs that a legal notice has been sent by consumer court at the then old address with demand of money .

                      Asked the hathway customer care and they expressed there ignorance about such notice.
                      I found to know that that Hathway has not closed the account though of no o/s bill and request to close since OCT 2016.

                      Raised again complaint to close the account.

                        Hello,

                        I am from pune. I had got the hathway broadband installed in my flat way back in july 18, 2015. My hathway account number is [protected]. The service was so bad, that i had to continuously keep calling them up to get the issue fixed but all in vain. I was so fed up with the service, that i again called up the customer care in sep 2015 and asked them to disconnect the connection and take away the modem box which they had installed. After trying to escalate my situation, the nodal officer attending the call convinced us that if the issue was not fixed in a day, then we can get the connection disconnected. I called her (Nodal officer) up again the next day and the nodal officer said that they would disconnect the service since they would not be able to fix the issue within the promised time in the area where i stay. We had not used the service even for a week. We contacted the hathway representative who had done the installation at our place to take the modem back and refund us the deposit paid for modem. But he never turned up.

                        In the meantime, below are the details of invoices received by me over email:

                        1. Bill no[protected] dated 01/11/2015
                        Bill amount - inr 2531.96 which i already cleared
                        This bill was sent to me after i requested for disconnection. So i was confirmed that no bills will further come and there was no usage from my side for the service.

                        2. Bill no[protected] dated 01/01/2016
                        Bill amount - 561.80
                        Not sure why this bill has been sent to me. The bill has no usage information.

                        3. Bill no[protected] dated 01/03/2016
                        Bill amount - 2234.14
                        Not sure why this bill has been sent to me. The bill has no usage information.

                        4. Bill no[protected] dated 01/04/2016
                        Bill amount - 3105.39
                        Not sure why this bill has been sent to me. The bill has no usage information.

                        5. Overdue payment email received on 17-apr-2016 mentioning that the overdue amount is rs. 3005.39 on bill number[protected] the details itself do not match with the bill details mentioned above.

                        6. Bill no[protected] dated 01/05/2016
                        Bill amount - 3986.23
                        Not sure why this bill has been sent to me. The bill has no usage information.

                        7. Bill no - b[protected] dated 01/10/2016
                        Bill amount - 9493.85
                        Not sure why this bill has been sent to me. The bill has no usage information.

                        8. Bill no - b[protected] dated 01/02/2017
                        Bill amount - 12251.57
                        Not sure why this bill has been sent to me. The bill has no usage information.

                        9. Sms received on my registered mobile mentioning that a legal notice has been set to my number for payment of rs. 12315.79. No further details about bill provided

                        This is really frustrating and equally upsetting. I have stopped taking any service from hathway cable & datacom for more than 2.5 years now and i am being sent such messages for paying for a service i never availed.

                        Its a humble request to the indian consumer complaints forum to kindly help me by getting this issue resolved at the earliest. I am not supposed to be paying for any service which i have never availed and this has been a really worst experience with hathway cable & datacom and equally disturbing for me.

                        All the pune contact numbers of hathway published online do not work anymore except on automated voice message service on[protected]. I tried calling up again today to find the details of my bill and i get to know of 0 mb of data used and rs 0 of bill outstanding. I am uploading the video which i captured today after receiving the sms. Hope this gives enough information to the forum to help me with my case forward.

                          I had subscribed to hathaway's broadband plan in late 2015 and my plan expired on[protected].

                          I then called up the customer care to arrange for a pickup of the modem that was installed at my place, but nobody turned up at my house many times. I even received call from the local office to pick up the modem, but yet again, nobody turned up to take the modem.

                          Now, i have left the said address and no longer in possession of the modem. I today received a legal complaint from hathaway that a case has been filed as i have not returned the modem. How is this my mistake if the company officials did not collect the same from my address? I called up the number given in the sms, and the lady threatened me with a legal notice if i didn't submit the modem before 4.30 today.

                              I have done payment for gtpl broadband internet at date: 6-9-2018 through gtpl mobile application and my broadband plan started from that day.

                              Then after i have complaint regarding my internet not started and engineer come to my home and said that wire need to be replaced.

                              Then after i wait for wire setup and do complains but today's 7 days gone without having internet started.

                                I have taken this connection on august ( TV CONNECTION), from than to now every week every day there is some technical problem.. all the time the technical problem. No one helps from customer care no one comes from operator side, operator only come for charges monthly.

                                I am so frustrated by this company and there service. Worst service I have ever seen in my lifetime. I am disconnecting this from my side . I will not pay for next month also .

                                  I had used hathway broadband more than 2years back, post which i had disconnected because i had shifted to a new address. I had a prepaid connection and paid all amount in time. After disconnection i had returned the modem to their agent for which they gave me receipt also. Now few months back i got a call from some delhi advocate saying i have not made payment to hathway broadband and i have pending of some 5500 rupees and there has been a case of cheating filed against me. Post this for past 3 months i did not receive a single proper response from hathway as to why after everything was cleared and closed, suddenly after years they thought of putting some pending amount in my name and harass me. I have a huge list of mails to which there has not been any response explaining to me the reason. They called me twice to which as soon as i asked the reason for the bill they disconnected. And to my surprise i am not the only person who faced this issue, few people i know have faced the same thing recently.

                                  So this is a major shoutout to all citizens - do not fall prey for this scam that hathway has recently started. Get your facts checked and ask them for explanation. They are just harassing and extorting money from common people.

                                    I had subscribed to hathway connection in april 2016 with account no 1261022
                                    And it was a prepaid connection and paid for three months amount. After three months i stopped using hathway and informed to them to disconnect the services through a phone call

                                    Even after disconnecting the services, the bill keeps on coming every month for three months after that they stopped sending the bills

                                    Today i received a message saying "advocate notice is generated against ur hathway ac [protected] due to nonpayment of 6348. Make the payment immediately to avoid legal action contact [protected]

                                    Can you provide me the bill details and usage of my account details as i didn't use the account for more than a 2 years
                                    As far as i remember my plan is prepaid how it got changed to postpaid can you provide me plan info

                                    When i am not using the account for more than a year why it is still active as its a prepaid connection

                                    Suddenly after almost more than 2 years without any intimation to pay the bill how can you register a case.

                                    Why i need to pay the bill for the account which i am not using for more than 2 years

                                      Today I got a call from legal department, informing me that "Hathway" has filed a case against me regarding some non payment of service fees. This is entirely the fault of your company to resolve the issue and still carrying on the amount as due against my name for the incompetence of employees hired by you, who fail to do their job.

                                      Instead of sorting out your internal problem, you decide on harassing customers, because well that is easy to do. File a case and the customer will pay you back the money, even if that means that the customer has to pay the amount twice. Now, if you check your call records at the time, you will know how many times a call was made to resolve this issue, without any sort of improvement from your end.

                                      Even after making repeated calls without the issue being resolved, what do you want us to do, leave every job that we have and spend the entire 24 hours in a day calling your customer care and waiting in line to hear "Your call is important to us". And you have just crossed every limit and filed a case against my name, for fault that was yours. This is a sheer case of harassment.

                                      And if thought of strategically, what a brilliant way of taking money out of the customers pocket by scaring them with legal jargon. Because, wait a company like Hathway has a millions to spare and can invest in doing all these things, but how much time a customer can invest in all this? Nothing but a clear way of threatening the customer with power.

                                      Why stoop to such level? Shameful! Oh wait!! And the money which I had already paid when I had taken the connection, and still had to pay it again now because of your failure to resolve the issue at the beginning. Why should I be the one to pay for your mistakes?

                                      I need a full refund of the money that I have paid today. And the mental harassment, who's going to pay for that? Now should I file a case of harassment against your "esteemed" company?

                                      If you look through your records, you will see that I had already made these payments before and because of your irresponsibility I had to make the payment again. Please look into this matter and refund the amount at the earliest.

                                        I had complained to hathway for low speed. They had sent one mr ajay gupta, as our second router was not working he proposed to fix a new one. The price given was 4800 total he charged me rs 5000 cash. Though i asked him again that why so expensive?? As asked he informed that is the cost of router and installation totally i gave him rs 5000/- cash he came and fixed the router and when asked he gave me a his own paper bill not mentioning the price of the router etc. The router tp link tl wr845n 300 mbbs n ver1.0. The warranty as mentioned by him is 1yr, but the when found it is 5yrs. Ithought he was from hathway when later asked he said he was a vendo which hathway sent.

                                        Later i went to laminghton stores and enquirered about the router which cost only appx rs 1400/-, for which i questioned him and he had other answers..??. Why hathway sends such people to cheat customers. His name is ajay gupta and his no [protected]. I have asked him to return the rest of my amount. Even if cost of the machine is 1500appx he charged the rest 3500 for configuration/kreeping & wages??? Upteen calls to ajay but he has not reverted and has also taken our d link router for checking and never gave back
