    Based on a call from a hathway customer care call i have accepted their renewal i have paid r.2600/- 30th june 2018. They told me that as a existing customer i am availing an offer that they would provide cc camera long with 3 months broadband internet connection. I told them that i had closed my old connection/account long back and i am staying in new location and also told them whether they can provide their services in my new location. Both customer care agent and money collection agent approved that they have services in my new area. So i have paid r.2600/- 30th june 2018.

    After few days later their wiring team visited confirmed that there is no feasibility to provide a service in my new location. So their customer care agent/collection agent both assured me that company would refund my money back in 45 days. Ticket number for refund : 05072018w069019.

    I have waited 45 days and called back both of but they are not responding my calls. But i hathway toll-free number and explained the story. He checked and my account details and told me that in this case they could not refund my money back.

      When i recharged lastly on february, my payment failed at the time of offer period, so next day from hathway i received a call which said please make a recharge of 6 months and you will receive 2 months extra even though offer was over. So i made a recharge. Now after 6 months they are not giving this 2 months extra and stalling me for more than a week. They say that they record the call but they cannot find the conversation now. I feel cheated as i was not going for a recharge and was about to change the service provider for me. Now i had to make a recharge of 1 month again to which again i have been frauded as the customer care person told me to make a payment of 1196 and you will get 500gb of data but it is showing me only 50 gb data in their application. So when i confirmed about that they are saying they don't have any pack of this amount. So please check what is the matter here and why this is happening. This might be happening with many people. Please look into this.

        I have disconnect my broadband connection in 2015. After 3 years i got call from some fake legal department to pay bill amount 10457/- against my hathway account. If i am not pay they will file case on me. My address is change, account closed and they call me everyday to pay bill and all. I visited hathway office they told me for settlement pay some amount we will close this matter. Kindly help me for this issue.

          Hi,

          My name is rikhil shah. My account no. Is [protected]. I have paid rs. 3229 for the hathway broadband on 1st july 2018. However, the installation did not happen till 9th july 2018.
          Hence, i have raised a cancellation request (Request no. 09072018w[protected] on 9th july 2018. I have been told that i will be getting the refund of the amount within next 15 days.

          I have still not received the refund of the same. Don't know why, in between the ticket has been closed. On 2 and august i received customer care call stating they are raising ticket now and i will get money in next 10 days stating about new ticket no. 02082018w581048 the same ticket is also got closed.

          Than they have created one more ticket i. E 07082018w654805 which is still open luckily but amount is not credit to my account.

          I have mailed to nodal office of hathway chennai - tn. [protected]@hathway.net... But they are also not responding.

          Please look in to the matter asap for refund of my money. I have already given my bank account details for the refund to hathway

            I had opted for new connection on july 15 and paid 3772 for the subscription of 3 months . Later they told that hathway wasnt feasible in my area and told to cancel. It has already been 30 days and every day i call the customer support and they tell only one thing that you will get a call end of the day, but im not getting any calls from them neither the refund. Hathway is the worst broadbrand they just loot customers money. for the recharge they call 3-4 times in a day and 100s of message to recharge, but for refund none of them show up.

              The last time when I used my Hathway internet was 4 years ago and now they sent me legal notice that Rs 4500/- was due on my account.

              I have cleared all my dues but now they are saying that there was uncleared amount. They gave me some advocate number who said that case is filed on my account and he was very rude and was using bad words.

              My Hathway was a prepaid connection. I disconnected it 24years back and now there calling me and harrassing to pay the due amount.

              Please look after this issue sir.

                This is inform that I have a Prepaid connection - [protected] which is quarterly mode payment 5 Mbps - 50 GB.
                (Speedway 5 Mbps - 50 GB Monthly)

                I have made the Payment Online & also payment made is reflecting on the Hathway Self Care Portal, for the same plan - (Speedway 5 Mbps - 50 GB Monthly), but still I am getting SMS on my registered Mobile number that Payment is not made so your connection has been Disconnected.

                I have been following up with Hathway Backend team 8 - 9 times during the entire day, but no solution for the resolve it.

                I also connected Twice to the Senior Supervisor but only False Assurance & Fake Promises made by the entire backend team & even by the Senior Managers.

                No-body is Serious about the same at Hathway.
                Really very Bad & pathetic Services. I have calling the backend team & I have kept on hold for more than 45 Min always.

                This is really a FRAUD & cheating Case by asking for Double Payment.

                Such a big organisation following such cheap Tricks for harassing customers is unexpected.

                  Hi,

                  I used hathway internet 3 years back which is a prepaid connection. I requested to disconnect the service while i was shifting my house in june 2016. However no response from hathway. However i keep on receiving bills every month over email and every month i raised a support case over email and there was no reponse from them. Finally i got a message as below today:

                  Legal notice has been sent to user xxxxxxxxx for hathway broadband a/c no.[protected] plz pay immediately rs8000 to avoid further legal action. For any query cont legal team [protected], [protected]

                  After some days i am getting calls from fake lawyers.

                  Why should i pay the amount if i had not used the service at all. Moreover my connection was prepaid.

                    Hello,

                    I received message saying. It is legal notice sent to user for hathway broadband. Plz pay immediately.
                    The account was closed one year back. I requested hathway and clarified why I was closing the account. Every equipment was returned and later I get to know after one year I need to pay some amount. They are harassing my calling and sending message again and again.

                      Hi Team,

                      I am really tired of waiting for a resolution from hathway and shocked to see such irresponsible and care less behavior from Hathway and team.
                      Its been so long more than month and no one came forward to resolve my issue.

                      Firstly after 3 months o[censored]sage with pathetic speed and horrible disconnections, was not hoping to renewal but based on the assurance given my billing team renewed it.
                      After which no one took responsibility but my tickets more that 10 were closed with out addressing my issue which cant be excused.

                      Finally my Request #23072018W392415 is pending from 23rd July which is like 20+ days and no one is taking astion through i have been calling every other day(20+ times) to call center.

                      Now, I am tried of waiting and working with 2 mpbs speed and frequent disconnections.
                      Please cancel my subscription and return my Amount as you have failed to provide the committed speed of 150 mpbs.

                        From the last three months, I have been raising many complaints they come over and work and close the case but after 3 days it's the same problem I was fed up with calling CS and raising tickets its been over 30 to 50 tickets raised until now under my account no proper resolution was given until now. I have reached Nodal officer and addressed the complaint still of no use. They raise a ticket and close the ticket with no proper resolution with hours of raising saying that the issue has been resolved. This has been a regular way.

                        The speed will cut down and start irritating with low speed/Fluctuating after 6PM IST. This has been said numerous time still nor proper response from tech or from their Hyderabad nodal Officer.

                        Your team has called and said we resolved the issue but that was never done its the same. The issues of speed start after 6 PM. I have emailed your Hyderabad Nodal officer and find no proper resolution in that. I paid for 8 months and its my 3rd month i work from home for my office this kind of service is not appreciated at all. I wanted a superior person to call me and work to resolve it.
                        Very poor customer service. Collection agent collects money and it does not gets reflected in the account even after providing the phone no and name of the person.

                            I used hathway connection 2.5 year back. The connection was closed due to relocation in other part of the city. Connection was closed in jan-feb 2016 after clearing all dues and hathway personnel had come to my new home to collect the modem. Still i kept receiving bill for which complaint was sent on feb 9 2017. After all this still i received sms for legal notice and clear balance due.
                            Please help with the same as i am not going to pay for connection that was closed more than 2 years back following a proper closure procedure.

                              My name is rajendra deshpande living at dhule city maharashtra i am using set top box service from gtpl through cable operation mahajan cable service at deopur vishnu nagar area my complaint is this service did not started aaj tak tez live india news channels since last five months or more i as cable operator he is saying that this is mechanical fault from gtpl service center and vise versa gtpl says that ask your cable operator i did not understand what to do prior to this i lodge my complaint many time but the channels not started or any satisfactory reply from you other wise i will change my service

                                I have disconnected the hathway service in the year june 2016. I handovered the devices in the hathway office kodihalli and received receipt for goods handover dated on 23/06/2016.

                                Now they have filed case on me of non bill payment for the months i have not used and the hathway team are not responding to my mails regarding this.

                                  As i was moving out of india, i called customer care and requested to disconnect my connection and they said ok.Also i had submitted router at kothrud Pune office.I haven't used since April 2016.Suddenly today 13th August 2018 i have received SMS as Legal Notice to pay amount immediately.I dont understand, if i haven't used any service from April 2016 then how could Hathway charge me.

                                    Recently getting strange problem on my hathway broadband connection after 6 pm my upload speed drops to 1-3 mpbs (while committed upload speed is 10-15 mbps) which results in constant 7-8 percent packet loss on teamspeak, skype and other applications but when my speed comes to normal packet loss gets fixed.There technical team are clueless about this and they are saying that the problem lies in your broadband plan next time don't buy this plan, really is this how you handle technical problem hathway? by fending your customer away from the plan which is mentioned on your website.They made me pay for 3 months plan and are unable to fix this issue since 7 days.Please look into matter and handle this situation professionally by giving customer justice for their money.

                                    Your technical support is unable to do anything about the problem and keeps on closing the complaint without resolving it.Just refund my 3 months prepaid money as i don't have the strength to deal with those useless people in your technical department specially a guy named Rakesh Choudhary who is a disgrace to your hathway broadband technical team.He does nothing just tries to stall me by saying, i will look into it, an engineer visit has been arranged to your home but till date no one has ever visited my home and i am still plagued by the same upload speed/packet loss issue after 6 pm everyday.Please fix my issue or else give me my money back plain and simple.

                                      Hi,

                                      I had used Hathway Internet connection 2.5 years back. As I was moving to different location in February 2016, I had requested the Hathway technicians to disconnect the service. When I had approached Hathway office to submit the internet modem, they clearly confirmed that there is no amount outstanding. I had requested to shift the connection to newly shifted location as well, however as Hathway does not operate in the newly shifted location, there was no possibility. So I had requested them to disconnect the connection and they said OK.

                                      However I kept on receiving bills almost every month over my email and I asked them to correct the mistake over email but there was no reponse from them. A month back, I got a call from someone asking to pay the dues, else it will be filed with Legal department. I also wrote to [protected]@hathway.net and [protected]@hathway.net, asking the status of my account, which they confirmed to be 'Terminated'. Today I got a message as below:

                                      Legal notice has been sent to for Hathway Broadband A/c no.[protected] value Plz pay immediately Rs6810.22 to avoid further legal action. For any query cont Legal Team [protected], [protected]

                                      FIRSTLY, I believe the message above is purely FAKE as no legal department will write 'Plz' instead of 'Please' and 'cont' instead of 'contact'.

                                      SECONDLY, when I called the Legal Team number, the lady sounded dramatically loud and rude, posing to be from so-called Legal department, wherein she asks me either I pay the due of 6810/- within AN HOUR, or the case will be lodged with Delhi court and I have to pay more than 4 times of the due amount.

                                      THIRDLY, if a legal department sends such messages for payment of dues, they never call back in an hour to follow up if I have paid or not. That was the moment when I felt something fishy!! I checked the number in Truecaller, and found the numbers to be reported as SPAM by 300 users.

                                      And even if I take off all the suspicions above, WHY SHOULD I PAY IF I HAVE NOT USED THE SERVICE AT ALL. And if I have submitted my internet modem back to the branch office, where are they offering the service to??
                                      In the Air!!!

                                      So, to conclude, I WILL NOT PAY THE DUES WHICH IS FALSE, and THIS NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO THE CONSUMER COURT for cancelling their licence of running Cable & Datacom services.

                                        I had applied for a hathway broadband connection on 29-june-2018. I paid rs 1414 as advance for this. I even received my hathway account no - [protected].
                                        The technical guy was supposed to activate the connection within 1 day. After 3 days of not activating it, i came to know from customer care that due to feasibility concerns they will not be able to provide me a connection.
                                        I was supposed to have received my refund within 7 days. But as of 13-august-2018 i am yet to receive any refund and after numerous follow ups i came to know from customer care that hathway has decided that i am not eligible for refund.
                                        So, not only did i not get a broadband connection, i am not going to my money back also.
