This is with regards to the hathway internet. I am receiveing calls from them after almost 2 years for a payment of rs. 3022 which i did not use at all.

I had a prepaid plan for which the payment for done and now they claim that it's a post paid account and that we have pay the due amount of 3022. They have no professionalism in their talks. It is such a fraud broad band service ever. Why would a consumer pay and return the modem and router for line disconnection when the account is prepaid and that we would have already paid them for the modem set? And i even receive messages that says legal notice has been sent to the account, make payment and advocate notice has been generated. I was being told to ignore such messages but it has increased now.

Please let me know what actions need to be taken on this.

I received a call from this number, +91 9036659126 asking me to return the Modem or to renew my account, when I asked for the address where it should be returned they neither provided me the address nor revert back. I tried calling them back several times which was of no use. Worst service I have ever seen!

    I m facing issue regarding net connectivity... Up and down... Everyday i lodge complaint 3 or 4 times... And they answer me, gtpl team will working on your complaint and solved issue in max 24 hours... I listened this msg every day from last 30 days...

    After so long time.. Gtpl technical person came on 6th october 2018 and told me that, net connectivity up and down due to poor cable quality.. So... Will replace on 8th october 2018 before noon, but nobody came for changing cable, again i complaint on same day and told me that technical person solve issue in 24 hours, this happened everyday till now... Gtpl customer support team answer is same as when i was first time lodge complaint. I m very disgrace and made mistake for choosing gtpl broadband service... Never everfaced this kind of experience.

      From last 10 days i am unable to browse. Daily i am calling to CUSTOMER CARE..And they will say some technical issue...By end of this day we will rectify...YOUR COMPLAINt will be taken as high priority & we will resolve...But no one still visited my home...& I asked for refund ., They are saying no refund policy...Waste Hathway...in last 8 months all most 2 months i did not get the internet...Worst customer support and maintenance... ### off hathway...*****..****..**** Don not believe even though they give 3+1 offer, they will recover entire money from you by not giving 24hrs internet

        I was living in Walhekarwadi, Pune before one year ago. when i subscribe Hathway broadband connection in Aug 2016, for first 2-3 days that works fine but after that even my gmail account cannot opened which was not according to the speed plan which they promised or advertised to me.

        i went 3 times within two weeks into there office in Chafekar Chauk, Pimpri-Chinchwad. i raised issue & ask to send a representative to check the fault but nobody came to my house and checked the issue whether it was in my laptop or broadband.

        one month passed in this mess so i wind up that broadband wire and kept outside the window. They have send many mails and called to pay bill for there service which they did not even provide. every time i replied them that how many days i have been using your service tell me? they would not give any answer and asked to pay bill only. Next 2-3 months i was getting bills on email so i called there customer care and said that i'm not using your connection anymore why hathway is sending bills to me? she said that first clear your due bills then i'm going to raise request to cancel it else you will get incremented bills.

        But now from last 2-3 days i'm getting harrassing calls continously even i'm working. said that we are calling from delhi court and fraud case is filed against you. so pay bill of 11089 /- (i dont know how they calculated this huge amount) in next 2-3 hours else you have to come in delhi court.

          My Hathway Internet Account - [protected]. I Shifted to a new Address in September and asked for connection to be transferred to the new address. It took a very long time and after multiple followups and complaining in "Consumer Complaints" forum, the connection was successfully transferred.
          Almost half of the month, the connection was in de-activated mode.
          Now the company has billed me for the entire month, which is not fair as the connection was not active for 15+ days. So Dear Hathway - Please reduce the bill amount, or i am happy to move on to a different service provider as i have been disappointed to the core with your customer service already.

            I am gourishankar my id no [protected] collected documents and money on 20th september 2018 with out having service line in that area, after my reminders they cancelled account but refund process will take for 30 days. My payment paid through online but they are playing through cheque payment at their office. I want my money through online or you have to deposit the chq to my account with one month bank interest.

            I am getting constant reminder for the modem deposit but even after fixing time and date nobody came to collect it...and now i am getting reminders and threats for legal action taken...this is going on for last 18 months now.

            i have given several emails to them and there is no response.

              Hi,
              My account number [protected]. I had booked new connection and paid 3179.00 on 18th sep-18 and your executive as visited my home. Due to some technical reasons connection is not given and they confirmed it's not possible provide the connection, so on 24th sep i have raised a ticket[protected]w443997) for refund of my initial payment. I am calling for the past 10 days for the refund status and the standard response is the back end will call you. That call never came. They said the sla for refunding the amount is 15 days. Its more than 16 days and there is no sign of refund. Can someone from hathway, please attend to this and get it resolved as soon as possible.

                Hi,
                My account number is [protected]. I had booked hathway the sales rep promised that the connection would be done end of day on sunday and also the wifi router will be handed over. Nothing happened on sunday and on monday the engineer said there is no feasibility and multiple issues while dealing with it. I had asked for a refund of my initial payment on 17th sep, as i was not offered any activation/connection. I am calling for the past 10 days and the standard response is the back end will call you. That call never came. They said the sla for refunding the amount is 15 days. Its more than 20 days and there is no sign of refund. I was being called every other day to get a connection and once i paid i had to call them to get the refund daily. Can someone from hathway, please attend to this and get it resolved as soon as possible

                  I have been forced to pay a bill from Jan 2017-September 2017 even when i had handed over the modem acc no [protected] in December 2016. I have been getting calls from hathway about the same I tried to explain that I am not residing at the address anymore so how can I have an outstanding amount. Then i got a call on 4 october 2018 saying that a case has been filed against you & you need to come to delhi court for the same & that lady gave me the contact of an advocate, I called the "so called advocate" & that fraud person told me to pay the amount on hathway website of 7800 which was reflecting in my old account. He warned me by saying that if i dont pay the amount now, i will be blacklisted for a year. He also said that he will send the case file & NOC & told me that you check the file, if anything is wrong hathway will refund the amount. Now i have paid the ridiculous amount of 7800 & I have till date not received any courier of NOC & case file. The payment has been made on official website of hathway. My amount should be refunded immediately by hathway!

                    I had Hathway install the Platinum plan worth ₹5300 three days back and I haven't been able to connect to the internet since then.

                    The customer service hasn't been helping much as well. They are giving incorrect resolutions.

                    For taking money they came as soon as possible and afterwards they are nowhere to be seen

                      I am one highly frustrated Hathway customer in Pune.

                      My account was due for payment on 4th Oct, and i made a payment on 29th Sept (5 days prior to expiry). For some unknown reason this payment was not recorded in Hathway. They disconnected the connection on 5th.
                      Since then i have been following everyday, sometimes even more than once. Everytime i reach CUSTOMER CARE and they keep giving me ###, ask the same set of details on how the transaction was made. Everytime they mention that the problem will be resolved in 24 hrs, and i have been waiting for last 8 days since this payment was made to get the connection rectified.

                      I don't know whom to contact or how to escalate to get the problem rectified.

                        We have shifted house and asked haway to relocate connection and they said ok that can done in 2-3 days.. We waited for 20 days.
                        We got disconnected the hathway connection. I have all the mail communications and without using bill got generated with rs.517.

                        I called customer care they said no need to worry about bill without usage of hathway internet connection.

                        Now hathway generated below legal notice.

                        #2 advocate notice is generated against ur hathway a/c [protected] due to nonpymt of rs 517. Make the pymt immediately to avoid legal action, ph [protected].

                        Not sure why i have to pay without usage. I have all the mail communications.

                        No Response till now.. before we are going to relocate. we called to customer care and asked whether broadband connection can be shifted or not.? they said that can be shifted with in 2-3 days.

                        so i doped the mail for shifting connection.. if they could have told that it will take 20-30 days for shifting connecting.. i could have closed the connecting.

                        we put hold the connection due to your commitment that can be shifted with-in 2-3 days. no body responded to mail and no one contacted with in the time 2-3 days after mail drop for connection shifting.

                        now i am getting messages and calls that.. pay the 517
                        advanced legal notice has been generated on you.. this is very ridiculous, hathway loosing their trust.. because of these.

                            Since 4th october i had been isolated without any response from hathway.

                            Atleast the service provider can provide an interim updated, but seems to be they are least bothered.

                              I took a hatway internet connection earlier
                              And choose 150 mbps plan
                              However i didn't get speed above 5 mbps then i stopped recharging the account
                              After many months of deactivation
                              I recently recharged hatway account and the guy i spoke to said it will get activated with in 10 minutes... It's been 6 days since then my account still is deactivated
                              I spoke to customer care but they said it will get activated with in 4-5 hours but nothing happened... It's been 24 hours
                              Hathaway is the worst network ever and didn't value it's customers

                                I have recharged my hathway broadband account on 1/10/2018. Also i have given operator ref i'd to hathway customer executive. But still my account is deactivated.
                                No response from customer care executive.
                                No reply to mail.
                                Overall worst experience with hathway.
                                So pls refund my amount i want to disconnect service due to poor service from customer care & billing desk of hathway.

                                  I have a hathway connection of internet speed of 100mbps. I get around 95 and get low ping, that's good. But as a gamer, ping and packet loss matters a lot. And have always have the issue of packet loss in games. It's always around 5% packet loss every second, which is making my experience very badand none of my other friends with different isp have these issues.

                                  4days after the complaint the issue of packet loss and high was fixed. But again the same issues have been started i am experiencing high ping and huge amount of packet loss. Can you redo the things you did before?

                                      I had personally gone to their pune office and paid my prepaid bill and requested to close the connection. No one at that time told me to submit the modem. Now all of a sudden after 2years i got calls from some lawyer of delhi high court that a case is filed against me for not submitting modem. I called the customer care and they said i have to pay rs.7500/- as due amount. I was not informed or given any notice at my permanent address or received any call or mail. When i went to their pune office at j. M. Road i learnt that my plan was converted from prepaid to postpaid how, when and why i don't know. The person in charge mr. Rakesh phuge was very rude and said that we have provided you service so you have to pay. I haven't used their service since march2016 then on what basis are they claiming this much amount. They offered me a settlement amount of rs.4500/- and modem charges of rs2500/-. All this is just utter nonsense, unethical practice and harassment of customers. I want to file a case against them for such defamation and harassment.

                                        My a/c [protected]. My account was due for renewal in september 2018 and the was showing the renewal amount as rs. 7198 which was an annual renewal and the same amount i paid last year also. And i had been getting the messages also to renew it for rs.7198 and would get 3 months extra. But i was interested in 100 mbps plan instead of the old 50 mbps plan, so i called the customer care number [protected] which i found in the renewal reminder message and enquired about the annual 100 mbps plan and they asked me to pay rs.11342 and said the plan would be upgraded once the payment is made, i made the payment on the same day on sep 28 2018, but to my surprise after making the payment some 50 mbps was activated and when i called the customer care they said there was no 100 mbps plan available and no plans for rs. 7198 was available and no refund be provided for the difference amount and they closed the ticket. First of all i was not interested in 50 mbps plan, though it was renewed they didn't renew with my old plan. They simply renewed it some 50 mbps to adjust the paid amount. Now what i want is either upgrade my plan to 100mbps for which i made the payment or refund the difference amount rs. 4144. Attached is the message i was getting about my old plan renewal for rs.7198 part of the offer.
