Termination of connection and refund of my money against prepaid account[protected]
My hathway account number is[protected]
My account registered under name ramesh jeyaprakash
Hathway sales team promised my to give 6 months complimentary subscription if i pay for 12 months subscription up front. They also promised a 4 antenna router.
I made payment of rs14, 000+ on 14th aug 2018. Connection was given on 18th aug 2018.
They did not honour the commitment of complimentary subscription of 6 months
Even today 29th sep, as per their records my next recharge date is 18th aug 2019. I had raised internal complain in hathway. They said the offer is not promised to me. I told them to disconnect my connection and deduct the fees for the connection for 1.5 months or 2months and refund the balance

    Hi, i used my hathway connection till first week of april 2017. As i was not satisfied with service of hathway. I decided to stop it. On 18 april, i went to hathway office in deccan, pune and paid the full settlement bill after having discussion regarding the discontinuation of service in hathway office in their payment machine. I have email copy of that. Hathway employee was agreed and said, they will disconnect it and will collect modem from my home and not to worry about bills as i am not using any service, so no need to pay bills and it's in their record. I stopped using internet before 18 april 2017 itself but still received bills without any reason after that. They collected modem after a year and now randomly getting such calls. It's causing me mental agony. Trusting hathway seems to be a biggest blunder of my life.

      I am currently using broadband service from gtpl as i have purchased a plan of 25mbps for 6 months on 05/06/2018 and they have stop giving me the service from 05/09/2018 till today.
      After complaining for several times in there customer care no. [protected] and there appellate authority (+[protected] i didn't get any redressal. I have complaint all the authorities concerned from local level isp to the appellate authority but they only seek the time and didn't give me any response regarding my issue.

        Hathway a/c no - [protected]

        We had hathway connection around 2 years back, after few months we got so many issues with the internet and we asked the customer care to stop our internet services. After a month also no one came to pick up the modem. We called up so many times bit no one came to pick up the modem. Than after a year a man came from hathway and asked for modem. We submitted him the modem. He didnt provide any submission slip for that.
        But after now its been 2 years, we suddenly getting messages of some legal case for modem, you bloody #, we waited for 1 year and your executive took the modem 1 year back, now why the hell you harrasing me? I will lodge a consumer complaint in the court now, & also make sure to spread it to the social media, just wait and watch. You thief fraudsters.

          Dear sir this is kishore, my ac no= [protected], date 04/08/2018 agent dileep mob.[protected], he collected money 2300 rs for new connection 3 months plan, with cc camera offer, still no one is respond regarding cc camera, daily i am calling customer care, they every time saying 48 hours time, very irritating this, bcz of offer only i took new connection, from hathway, agent told cc camera will get within two days, but now nearly 2 months, no one is responding please solve my issue asap, other wise refund my money back, thank you

            Hi, i used hathway internet service 3 years back in pune and after moving out of the city i cleared all the dues and request for disconnection. I handed over the modem they provided to local agent. After 3 years i have received a legal notice message for payement of 2036 rs.

            Why is this legal notice even after the everything clear from connection.??

              Hello i am devi prasad samal. As per the hathway i have submitted 6 month fee of 3300. But not a single day gone where my connection has worked. They have cheated me. Even after generating service request for solving my problem. No one came and and one day later status of the request is solved. They are pathetic people. No one should take a connection from these crooked guys.

                I have been receiving spam calls from a person saying that they are from delhi rto office asking me to pay the broadband bill which was closed in 2016. My connection was prepaid. I had informed hath way team to close the connection
                Before moving out of the mohali. Its your company fault for not closing the connection on time.

                After 2016 i have not received any calls from hath way about this issue. As of a sudden today they called me and threatening me

                Can some one please help me what to do on this issue?

                  I had Hathway broadband connection during 2014 and when I had to relocate to a new place, I requested for a relocation with Hathway broadband but that place did had the option to have Hathway connection. so the Hathway team sent a mail saying, we cannot provide service to that particular location.

                  I requested for a disconnection and they sent me bills for two more months though the connection was removed from my old residence. I paid that also and requested to disconnect the broadband. They accepted it and sent a mail saying, "Please ignore the bills sent from Hathway team" and asked me to give a date to return the modem. I sent a timeslot, and a person came to collect the modem and he collected it and gave me receipt for the same.

                  Since the hathway team said to ignore the bills, I ignored it after that. Later by 2017 I relocated to a different place and took Hathway connection again. And now I am currently a Hathway customer. But all of a sudden I got a call one day from CIBIL team saying, "If I dont pay the pending bill amount (Rs.6000) to Hathway, they will file a case against me in court and I have to proceed it further through court." And they asked me to pay within that evening itself. Since they were threatening me saying this, I ended up paying it.

                  But later i realised this was for those ignored bills of my previous connection with Hathway three years earlier.

                  Now I have all the related " interaction mail chain, receipt given by the Hathway person while returning the modem etc". I forwarded everything to the Hathway team, and they are just saying apologies and saying, they cannot refund the amount though they knew very well that, this is a mistake from them only.

                  I cannot give Hathway Rs.6141.98 like charity. If I say few apologies, will they ignore my current bills for six months.?

                  Please help me in solving this issue.

                    I had a hathway connection 1 years ago where i had to pay for the subscription before starting to use it.

                    As this was prepaid service so i used it for approx 6 month by making payments later due to slow speed and dis-connectivity i stopped service, each month i get a call for recharge and i asked them to collect your modem and disconnect the account but these guys don't listen at all and sending legal notice that also in delhi court.
                    They are harassing mentally to me at regular interval where they ask to pay 1084 amount and be available for hearing in delhi.

                    What is this for?? Non-usage or for your service which is so pathetic.

                    You can't ask someone to pay for something which they did not use at all after their subscription expired.

                    Please help me to get rib off this harassment.

                      I raised service request many times regarding my refund, it get resolved without refunding the amount . I did double payment in month of December 2017. It hasn't credited/reverted back. Please see the statement - HDFC credit card.

                        I got an sms saying 'legal notice has been sent to user xxxxxxxxx, hathway broadband a/c no. [protected] plz pay immediately rs3338.31 to avoid further legal action. For query cont legal team [protected], [protected]'

                        First of all, there shouldn't be any pending dues on prepaid plans. Secondly, i haven't had a hathway connection for three years. Thirdly, i had communicated the connection to be cancelled before i left the place. So how is it that i am getting a legal notice now? It's possible that they didn't even cancel the connection so why should i pay for their mistake?

                        And this isn't the first time i have had this issue with hathway. They tried to overcharge me for a month in bangalore when the data clearly showed no usage (They allowed me to check their records when we had dispute) and around the same time i was at their office another customer had threw a fight and slammed the router and left. It clearly speaks of customer harassment for them to have pushed anyone to a point that he needed to do this. This happened almost 10years ago.

                        I have lived in different cities and used other operators and this has never ever happened! How is it that its only hathway who sends legal notices to customers for their inefficiency in forgetting to cancel the connection?

                        And it doesn't seem like i am the only one facing this issue. There are several complaints and comments by others as well. If they don't stop calling / harrassing me, i will be forced to take a legal action.

                        Also, i got a call from a spam number pretending to be an advocate from delhi high court. This has been happening for few months now and legal notices don't arrive as a form of phone calls from different mobile numbers. One of the recent numbers is [protected] (Reported as spam on trucaller) and he said he name was sandeep sharma while it says adv. Roopchand there. I have reasons to believe that these two cases are related because the scam calls and the sms started around the same time.

                        Need suggestion from reliable sources on how to take this forward. Please advise.

                        Hathaway promised us to give connection in 24 hours and did not give connection even after 30+ days. They have cheated us by taking our money and not refunded till date.                           I received an sms on 26th september 2018 asking me to make a payment for hathway bradband bill from january 2017.
                          I was not a resident of the address mentioned in the bill in january 2017 and wasn't a hathway customer at that time. When i got the connection disconnected in mid of 2016, i informed them about the same. So they did not send any bill after september 2016. But suddenly sent one again in january 2017 (Remember that i had informed them about my discontinuing the connection in 2016 itself). Post that they did not send any bill as they knew that i wasn't a customer anymore. So now, they are threatening legal action via sms for a connection that did not exist at the time of the bill and for an address where i did not reside at the duration mentioned in the bill.
                          When i go to their website and enter my details, they notify me that my account has been kept on hold at my request. I did not make any such request and had asked them to close my account and connection in 2016.

                            I did a payment for hathway, the money has been debited from account and transaction failed. I've not received the refund till now. The first transaction using tech process solution ltd has failed.

                            When i called you, they asked to call my bank, i called the bank, guess what — they are telling the money is gone. And i figured out paynimo was handling the payment while i made the transaction and reading other complaints registered here i came to the conclusion that you are one worst internet service provider in our country

                            Need the refund soon. I've got the whole records and my bank is backing up me on this with legal help. This has become your habit. Not refunding failed transactions.

                            Hathway has become one of the worst experience for me. One of the worst internet service provider in india. Please don't opt for hathway.

                            Not received the refund yet. Nobody has yet called me. Are you guys working on this? or is it same as your call center? What kind of people are you working there?.

                            There is facebook group calling for suing Hathway for Frauds like this. If something is not happening with 48 hours. I'm going to them for a call lawsuit action.

                              Hathway cable & datacom — hathway sent me a legal notice after 2 years o[censored]sage

                              I had hathway connection couple of years back. I closed my hathway account as i getting relocated to different place.

                              I closed my account and submitted my router in hathway lower parel office. It was prepaid account.

                              I have bills from them which says my account is prepaid. All of sudden out of no where i am getting a call saying my account has pending amount of rs 957.58

                              This is something out of my imaginary. Upon reaching hathway they mentioned my account is postpaid. This is something they have edited in thier system records to make it prepaid to postpaid after closing the account.

                              They are threating me to pay rs 957 otherwise legal notice will be logged agaist me. Infacr they sent me a message with below content,

                              Legal notice has been sent to user xxxxxxxxx for hathway broadband a/c no.[protected] plz pay immediately rs 957.58 to avoid further legal action. For any query cont legal team [protected], [protected]

                              My account is prepaid and when i am moved to new place i told them to disconnect the services. Now after almost more than a couple years they called me saying that you have an due amount and need to pay immediately other wise legal action will be taken.

                              The lady called me mentioned she is from delhi court, the fact is she does not sound like qualified one, they way she spoken looks like they hired a road side employee to communicate with customers with no idea how to talk.

                              I got message for account - [protected]. I can confirm i never used this account.

                              I got subscription with account no - 1335747. This was prepaid account.

                              Upon getting the message i checked details on hathway portal and identified i am unable to login using account id -1335747. I got a message saying invalid account number. Also unable to login using my registered email address where i used to get hathway emails.

                              Using my mobile number - [protected] helped me login into portal abd see the details. I am surprised to see the account number which i never used - [protected].

                              I personally visited lower parel office to submit the router and asked them to close connection.

                              Post that hathway has changed my account from prepaid to postpaid. This is not at all acceptable.

                              You can see the attachment which states my account is prepaid.

                              Received update from Hathway nodal that the amount is not payable anymore. However I am still receiving calls from there legal team (Delhi) about payment. Refer attached image. Not sure whats wrong with hathway. Please ask them to stop calling me.

                              I was at Noida when I was using Hathway, but from last 2.6 year, I am in Mumbai, and I got message for legal action if I wont pay amount of Rs.1273.
                              Even I have replied in mail many times to hathways but they never ersponded.
                              THere customer service is also not responding.

                                This is the 4th time I am raising ticket related to internet access issue.

                                Hathaway customer care doesn't give reliable response. They just postpone their work on next day. And keeps postponing it further. It took me more than a week to get my connection relocated at new place even after following all required procedure explained by them.

                                The technical support people also doesn't respond to customer issue properly. He is keeping my issue pending since Sunday and it's Tuesday night now.

                                They don't reply to emails and ignore calls. Customer service is purposely kept chargeable. They just want to extract money out of it.

                                My current ticket ID is 23092018M438605.
                                Almost every weekend their link goes down. And they take 2 days to solve the issue.

                                If the issue is not solved within 1 day, they remove the ticket details from the records. Because in Hathaway app I can never track my tickets which had taken more than 1 day to fix.

                                Hathaway app also doesn't work properly. Many times I have faced problem that when internet goes down, I can't even raise a ticket.

                                Even after mailing them all these details, they ignore all the mails.

                                I had a call with customer care once when they informed me that atleast 24 hours they take to solve an issue. Next day when I called they said atleast 48 hours they take to solve an issue. In this way they ignore customers.

                                I asked them to stop the service and refund my money but they are ignoring that as well.

                                4th time raising ticket in this month related to frequent internet disconnection. (Typo).

                                I either want service or refund. Action should be taken immediately.

                                  I requested shifting of my broadband and they said they would provide me shifting in 10 days.. After 10 days they said wait for 5 more days.. But nothing happened after that so, i mailed appellate authority for my concern they said they will help me out.. But nothing happened so mailed them again two times, today i also called them, it has been 26 days but i didn't get shifting, and as expected they said wait your work will done... And said getting a connection will take more time.. So, i called gtpl enquiry for new connection and then they called me so i ask them how much time it takes for new connection he said it will take only 2 days with working internet connection, and if i want shifting it ll take 15 more days, or when they were wish it takes a month too.. So i finally got that gtpl company is worst company ever in hathway service.. Gtpl are trying to cheat their customer.. And also they r treating their coutmer as beggars...
                                  But, i ll not let company go... I file legal complaint against gtpl bcoz i have all conversations recorded, and also many proofs i ll surely make gtpl repent... If anyone also have problem with gtpl come and complaint against them so they nevar thought of cheating coustmers..

                                  I have sent you the screen shot of speed of 4 Mbps instead of 6 Mbps. I have received the below response. This is to inform you that, your plan is 6mbps and you getting the upto speed 6mbps as per plan.
                                  I compliant about my internet is down yesterday they asked me to wait for 24 hours and when I called today again asked me to wait for 24 hours.

                                    I have been launching complaint in customer care of GTPL broadband company since 10 days ..there are no any executive comes to visit. as on date, GTPL Broad band service comes close.
                                    they are taking net fee in-advace as per plan however does not provide servie
                                    I have to call on every 15 days regarding speed and connection.

                                    as unathoried system, GTPL will decide customer's login user and password. customer can not set own login user and password.
                                    I have pay money for using broad band services occur at any time(24 hrs)(except natural disaster).
                                    however GTPL connection always close on every days during the 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.
                                    Hathway / Gujarat Telelink [GTPL] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      I took new Hathway Broadband connection on 2nd Sep 2018 with Sun Nxt one year subscription offer. But even after 24days still I have not received my Sun Nxt coupon code to access. I raised several request with Hathway customer care but still I didn't get my coupon code. So thought of raising my concern with youguys. Could you please help me to get my coupon code? Below is my details:

                                      Yes even I never received the coupon. I am from velachery luxe dental centre owner I opted the Hathway connection as they promise they will give hathway playbox and few subscriptions like 1 year sunnxt even after like 1 month now still not received I have compliant to customer care too but dint receive anything.

                                        I have recharged my hathway account on mar 23 2018 for 6 months renewal. At that time of recharge you have given offer as extra 45 days services so my offer will be 6months+45days. But from last few days i am getting mails like my renewal will be end 22nd september that means on;y you have given 6 months where is my 45 days offer for the same i have raised the request but till now i haven't got any response from your side what is this this is the value you have given to customer.
