I have discontinued hathway internet service around 2 years ago as i shifted to another house and also using the the hathway connection in new house too.
I also given them the modem before leaving old house.

I have now received an sms saying that demand notice is generated and legal action will be taken if rs.6337 is not paid.

This is harassment and instead legal action needs to be taken against them for this. V

    I am frustrated logging complain on the issue which is going to be regular issue. The internet is not working in evening time.. Noone even bothered as i have already taken plan for 3+1month offer and paid full amount for this service with 50mbps speed. However, i did not get 50mbps speed. Even the internet is stop running/ disconnect any time and than we have one option left to open a request.
    Not sure how this broadband even exist as they are not capable to provide service. At the time i got this plan executive commit that the services are improved now a days. But seems its getting worse.
    This is something that you have to spare 30 minutes everyday to serach the site and log the complain to this vendor and expecting that someday this will be sorted out.
    Thanks to this site and complain board wherein we can raise our voice.

        Ac no.[protected] i paid the subscription for 1 month earlier.. But every month they call 15th from next month 10th to pay the amount.

        I receive 2 to 3 calls everyday its giving mental torchal
        Every time i call customer care and say i receive calls even after paid
        They say internet will activated soon and u wont receive calls here after...
        But next within one hour i get calls from them saying the same..

        Please please look into this issue... I cant take calls everyday im doing business and this gives me too much mental disturbance

          My internet connection has been deactivated for the past 7 days. When complained about this, they claim to forwarding the requests on priority basis none of them work to resolve this issue.
          I have already paid the amount for the plan in advanced but still they have deactivated my account. They are generating complaint each time i have called them. But still they have not resolved the issue

          My set top not working properly, i called our operator person ( Devendra), but he is not work properly and not give me monthly payment 350.00 slip against payment. His services is very very slow and not good communication.

            I am regret to say that there are 2 connections of hath way at my home... But there has been no signal in t. V. Since 7 days...
            As i tried to contact with the concerned service provider, they neither received calls nor gave any solution...
            When they received the call.. They replied that they are busy and the concerned persons are not available...

              My customer i'd is [protected]. 2 months before i decided to leave hathway, then after me getting persuaded for one month (They promised me a plan of 550 with 50mbps 40 days.) i restarted using that connection. After paying the amount it took 1 week for them to install modem. Now the plan got deactivated within 30days.
              Due to my urgency i recharged again with 550, but even after 12 hrs it's not active. I even registered in the app and also called customer care 5 times today. Everyone except the last told me that it will activated soon. Last guy told there is some system issue and will try to get it activated today or tomorrow.
              Their app is the pathetic one which i saw. Nothing will happen in that.
              Pls help me a d take action on these cheaters.

                Hathway broadband services not answering phone calls. Had problem with broadband, have called multiple times. Still not sending technician to fix the problem. Broadband service in mohali is poor. Very unhappy with the services. They refused to send technician citing invalid reasons.                   In my phone when I switch on the net using wireless connection the net is coming very slow as compare to mobile data when it is connected to computer using direct cable only it comes very fast when it is connected to computer using wireless cable it is coming very slow so kindly please check the problem as soon as possible

                    My name is puneet grover, i was getting calls since 2 months to reactivate my connection .. and they were giving discount 50 Mbps plan for Rs. 550/month
                    i payed Rs. 550 on 30th June, On 10th June i received modem and then i checked my plan active was 5 Mbps not 50 Mbps i return the modem and complaint to customer care to change my plan to 50 Mbps since then customer care keep on saying it will take 7 days .. now its more than 30 days .. Also on 20th July i called customer care regarding same issue and they told me you have used connection for 20 days now we cant change your plan ... Then i explained them that how can i use your connection without modem ... Again they took 7 days from me .. they are just making fool .. these are my complaint numbers .

                      We are registered corporate company. We had ensured a new broadband connection on 6 JULY 2018. The internet Connection was established on 13 July 2018. From July 30 2018 our internet connection was interrupted. we complained about that on 30 July 2018 around 11.00 AM. hathway replied that it will resolved in 24 hours. but its not resolved. Again we complained in 31 July 2018. around 11.00 Am. HATHWAY REPLIED AGAIN IT WILL BE RESOLVED IN 24 HOURS. kindly not its been almost 4 working days completed. But its still not resolved. can we know. whether are you making your customers stupid and also want to know whether there is sufficient employee to make the resolve of the complaint.

                      this is because during Wednesday i.e 1 august 2018. we said to connect to the higher official and they hold our call. we almost waited for 45 mins. but the call had been dropped.

                      its very hard to see leading company to behave in a manner of frustating its customers...

                        I have registered the complaint thrice and everyone have recieved the same reply from customer care that i'll get a call but everytime my complaint get closed without rectifying my issue.
                        The service is as pathetic as it can be because it's been more than two weeks and my issue still persists. Two days back i have renewed my plan for 6 months and i'm not able to use my internet.

                        I want to bring to your notice if my issue will not get resolved till tomorrow then i want my money back

                          My card number xxx-4692, want to complaint about the service issue once again. Really very much fedup with the hathway services i must say, i lodged my complaint 12-14 days before, you can check with the your service record or with miss jyoti, she was following my complaint, but till now no response or say resolved. I had told her that my cable wire is broken from last 7 days but all in vain.

                          Really want to ask what kind of services your are providing to your customers? And your local cable operators are of no use as well, they are just for collecting money on time thats it but about service related its nill. Miss jyoti was attending my complaint till last week (27th july) but after that no call and no confirmation about the request.

                          You can check my past record i had disconnected my one connection due to bad service of my local cable operator and hathway and same thing is happening once again now. Just tell me once very frankly if the hathway is not enough capable of resolving my complaint once again just disconnect my mentioned setup box connection. Don't want this kind of services served from your end from last 15 days.

                            My account number is [protected] and i had taken Hathway broadband connection in Pune and disconnected it in the year 2015-16 since i was relocating outside of Maharashtra.

                            I had cleared all the dues and submitted the router/modem to the hathway agent near Hadapsar Pune. I have checked repeatedly with your customer care department and below are the service requests generated for hygiene and they have clarified that there are no pending payments from my side and my account has been closed.

                            But still i am receiving a legal notice from "VM-ADVOCA" stating that there is an amount of Rs.9349 pending for my account.

                            Can you please look into it and let me know why do i have to pay this amount when i have cleared everything before moving out?
                            This is mentally disturbing to receive such kind of messages and calls without any fault from my side.

                            Even i had repeatedly mailed to [protected]@hathway.net and [protected]@hathway.net to address my concern but i didn't get any response yet, hence i was forced to raise a complaint here. Also my it has been like 3 years since i had disconnected my connection and without notifying me they have generated this demand notice, its not professional behavior of such a reputed company to deal with customers and that too with those who have cleared all their dues and bills and don't have any pending amount.

                            This has not been resolved I got calls from Delhi High court and i had to make the payment which was not due in my name. I had made all the payments and submission this is really a misconduct from Hathway and instead of looking at my complaint it was marked resolved automatically.

                            This is a real torture to tax-paying citizens and company must take liability for this.

                              Hello sir/madam,

                              I took hathway connection. 1 year before. It was prepaid connection. And suddenly now they are sending multiple msgs to pay the bill which i dint consumed. I relocated and asked them to shift my connection but they told we don't have connection on that area. I asked them to close also but they dint close. They kept forcing me to use that connection giving cheap plans and all. They dint even listen my concern for close the connection.

                              It's fraud.

                              Please help me to get rid of this.

                                Everyday i am receiving messages from "vm-advoca", about some demand legal notice will be issues for my hathway account which i was using in pune, which i have requested on april 2016 to terminate it and yet it has not been terminated. They even converted my prepaid account to postpaid and changed my account number without even informing me. No one turned up to collect the modem despite so many requests from my side. No one responds to my email, and customer support are of no use.

                                I have relocated to mumbai, and so i visited mumbai hathway office (Kamala mills, lower parel) asking them to address this issue but no help.

                                This is really horrible and irresponsible action from hathway for not taking care of things seriously. They try to sabotage customers in every possible way.. This is mentally disturbing to receive such kind of messages and calls.

                                Kindly look into this matter asap hathway.

                                Same thing happened to me, am getting it these days, which I used 3 years back and I returned modem and cleared all, but sill they are sending...
                                Even after stopping their service, they used to call me for renewal of service for many times, I scolded them left n right as I am fed with their worst service and customer care. I called them to delete my contact from their customer service book, but they never keep on sending their offers n all...
                                its the worst service I have ever seen, they work and behave like most irresponsible and always in that lazy attitude, worst customer care ever seen...

                                If anyone is reading this, please stop using it or never try it for god's sake.

                                  Hi folks,
                                  My name is aditya sundaraneedi and my registered mobile number is [protected].
                                  I was cheated by hathway customer service executive who called me during renewal of my 6 months package.
                                  She offers me 6+1 month and tv connection with my net service. I was ok with the offer and recharged my account.
                                  The twist is no offer was given to me, i got to know this when i asked for the tv connection details. Finally after giving 3 complaints i got a call from back end team and asked about my issue. After getting all the details like which number i got the call from and which time and all. He asked me if i have a recording. Unfortunately that day passed more than a week where my recording got flushed.
                                  After hearing to it he told he will get back to u and did not call back resolved my ticket saying not eligible.
                                  After this i gave complain for more than 2 times which ticket automatically resolved no one contacted me

                                    I am Sudheesh. I have used Hathway internet only for one month, i.e November in the year 2016 and paid full amount in cash. And since I was not able to use internet when there is no power. So I have switched to ACT Internet and discontinued Hathway service by returning their modem. But still I was getting invoice to my email id for another 3 months.

                                    Recently I got a call from Hathway asking for modem(which I have returned) after a span of 1.8 year. How is this possible? And today i got a call from Hathway saying that they have upgraded software and wanted to check whether internet is working for me. Then I called the customer care to know what is going on here? he said i have payment due of 810 Rs. If I have discontinued my internet how did Hathway generated bill.

                                    Then I was able to correlate all this with the calls that I was getting from Delhi consumer court saying that a case has been registered on my name. Now I realized why I am getting these many calls. Its all because of Hathway Internet Service.

                                    Its been more than a week, nobody is replying to my emails and phone calls
                                    I have disconnected internet connection in October 2015. Now there are saying you have outstanding amount need to pay. else we will register the case on you.
                                    i got lot of call with different number. Please advise. Guys be careful do not use Hathway. you can see the rating before you get the connection.

                                      I took connection on 27th July. On the same day my 2 GB data got sucked when i dint used much. To find out the data leak i have kept my modem switched off the entire day on 28th July, but to my surprise i found 5 GB data got consumed with a usage of 167 Min, How this could be possible when i dint power-on the modem at all . Reached customer care and raised complaint about data mismatch ( ticket#28072018W493978 ) . One named Dinesh who called from Hathway and arguing with me that i have used the data, which is not at all possible when i kept the router off . Asked him to provide my router up-time details and he is not ready to provide and simply closed my ticket asking me escalate wherever i want. It was too arrogant behavior shown with customer . They treat customer as like we are getting service from them free of cost.

                                      It clearly shows how they are cheating the customer and eating customer money . I want Hathway to provide me refund and cancel my connection as this dissatisfaction happened to me in 2 days of new connection. Better i will go with some other provider who keep-up their words and commitments to customer rather than cheating like Hathway.

                                        Actually i have requested for new broadband connection on 20th july 2018 and paid via cash of amount rs.3180 on 22nd july 2018. No installation has been done till date. Almost one week gone. No cabling and installation done and called several times the customer care. No proper response till now. And i have requested for refund as well. The customer care told that it takes 15 days time and executive will call back. Till now i havenot received any calls from them.

                                        And after contacting customer care, regarding the issue. Ill get the following message. I got below message around 8 times.

                                        Dear patron, we have completed the cabling work at your place. Our support engineer will visit you shortly for the installation of your hathway internet connection, kindly be present for the same.

                                        Till now no valid response from the hathway team.

                                        Please refund me back.

                                        Hello team,

                                        I was using Hathway for the last 9 months
                                        Now im near to end of my current renewal
                                        Hathway customer care called to check if i was going to renew
                                        but just after i said i wont be renewing
                                        they have reduced my speed
