I have paid 5650 for a whole year for the connection no. [protected]. It has been 8 days and my router has not been activated. I had to call first for router installation for three continuous days then for router configuration for another five days. Still my router is not configured. I have raised compliants on almost daily with the customer care but it has not been resolved. They have started false closing the complaints also.

    I, Mr.Gurupada Das used Hathway (A/c No. [protected]) (@hyderabad) back in 2016 for a very short time at that time my landlord removed hatway box from the apartment because hatway was not paying the electrical bill for their battery and router connection. I asked them to discontinue it at the same time. Talked to their customer care sent many mails also. But they keep sending me bills till 2017. Now recently one lady calling me to pay 2644rs or they will file a case in DELHI CONSUMER COURT, after i goolged i found there are many scams like that, now instead of calling they are sending me sms that some demand notice generated pay today to avoid legal action. I have all the proofs in Email for the discontinuation request and all . I think i should file a case for harassing me. I think somehow these fraudsters are employees of HATHWAY.

      I've same issue. Account # [protected]
      At the time of taking connection, they said it will be relocated to any place in
      Hyderabad. I've taken 6 months and extended 6 months. Now, I had to relocate to new place. Customer care has given me hard time, no one came to new place to setup until 2 weeks. We waited instead of taking new connection as we have paid for it. Later after 2 weeks after repeated calling, a technician came and confirmed they cannot provide connection. and that I'll be getting refund for that. So I called customer care and confirmed the same. They also confirmed it.
      Later since I didn't receive any call from customer care regarding refund, I called they and found refund has been cancelled as I've prepaid it.
      I don;t understand, why should I pay when I dont get any service. Is there any way to complaint regarding this?

        Hi,
        I having a plan of 6Mbps with the GTPL and I had changed plan just a day ahead of yesterday.

        Since last two day I’m getting low bandwidth and today is the worst day for bandwidth. Yesterday I was getting around 4-4.5 Mbps and today I’m getting 1.5-2.5 Mbps.

        I had also informed the GTPL customer care and support team for this issue but no action taken till today. No one comes to resolve an issue. Company advertise that they provide 6Mbps on their home page but when I asked the person who came to take payment, he told me that it’s only for 100Mbps plan but I have attached screenshot of GTPL home page.

        Even I cannot login to GTPL site to register my complaint as they had removed that option. Customer care doesn’t take care about your complaint and it closes complaints with dummy comments like visited customer place although they never comes to visit.

        They only calls multiple time when your renewal date is on due.

        @GTPL_Hathway @jagograhakjago @TRAI Another proof Of lowest speed. Yesterday when support person came to visit it was showing 4-4.7 Mbps and just today’s updated scenario. Again reached to 1Mbps Really upto 6Mbps not exactly 6Mbps or even not closer to it 😡🤭😤

          When I called you, they asked to call my bank, I called the bank, guess what -- they are telling the money is gone. And I figured out Paynimo was handling the payment while I made the transaction and reading other complaints registered here I came to the conclusion that you are one worst internet service provider in our country

          Need the refund soon. I've got the whole records and my bank is backing up me on this with legal help.

            My name is mukesh Sharma Hathway AC no. Holding [protected] I had hathway internet connection 3yrs back I paid the bill and asked customer care to close the account and pickup the router However no one came and picked up the router and all that's not my problem and now suddenly after 3yrs I'm receiving call to pay 48000 or else they will send police men to home
            I mean how this is possible before 30days I received a message from Hathway I thought that is a fraud I will attach the message below

            I think I'm in a similar situation line yours but just the beginning..
            No resolution yet since July 6 its been one month I m again getting treatning calls from Hathway this is not good Hathway broadband
            Brother I'm facing a similar issue. I had told them to terminate the connection and collect the modem and router but they did not. Now they are sending texts and calling warning me with a legal action. Has your situation been resolved?

            If hahway is not involved in sending such notice, they should immediately issue some clarification in leading newspaper and inform to the police.
            I think the user/consumer should also file a harassment complaint at police station.

            I want to know whether hatway is involved or it is purely by fraudsters. Hathway should come clean on the subject.

            It also seems that the hathway data base has been leaked /sold in market and the fraudsters are playing with the consumers' peace of mind.

              I want to complain against poor service received from Hathway broadband. I have connection acc no [protected] taken at the beginning of this year with plan of 50 Mbps net speed. However I have never received such speed and last few days it pathetic only receiving 2 Mbps, I have complained many times they just close the issue and after next it's same story.

              Appreciate your assistance to resolve the issue of net speed.

                I have applied for a new broadband connection with hatway pune on 6th jan and so far no enginneer has visted my place. Account number: [protected].
                I have already paid 3months advance rs 3360.

                I got an sms that your request os closed. Spoke to customer care and they are saying complaint is registered and thwy are helpless in the iasue. Sad part is sales manager, sales person, and engineer is not amswering my call. Sent a mail to hathway appellet autbority pune a week back and so far i havent receceived any reply.

                Request hathway authorities look at this isaue and provide a solution. I dont think this is professional approach from hathway.

                    My Hathway broadband connection a/c no [protected] in Mumbai Mira road is frequently disconnecting, frequency of disconnection is so high that internet connection drops 2-3 times in a minute. informed to technical service many times in last 3-4 months but no solution so far and the problem is continued. time . Every time a technical service request is raised on hathway app/ or by calling the customer service center, the service id is closed without attending and without any feedback back to me. I have renewed the annual pack last month but very disappointed with Hathway service team attitude.

                      Hello, i'm deepak from chennai. Using hathway for past 3 months my id is [protected]. On 26th june 2018, got a call from hathway person stating that, if we pay 3 months rent in advance, they will provide one free cctv camera for free with free installation within 48 hours from payment date. Now its almost one week no one turned back and also contacted customer care and they daily creating one job id for this and at-last today they asked me to get refund else surrender the connection. This is totally fraud business by hathway like 250/- smart phone fraud, 500/- dth from reliance like this 3 months advance for one free cctv. This should be published in all public forums, so please all forward this in whatsapp, facebook and twitter

                        I have made complaint about dis connectivity of internet. Internet was disconnected with 1st rain in surat. When i have done complaint for 2 time they haven\'t visited yet though they said that technician will visit in 24 hours. And when we visit at their location in surat they told me to pay 500* rs for shifting internet. When i was changing home they haven\'t visited even after shifting my home i waited for 2 weeks so i have transferred my connection by my own. I just ask him to connect line whether it is going a downstairs of my home but he told me that pay money or net will be not connected. And they said that nobody will visit there for your connection.

                          I registered for internet broadband connection (Account number:[protected]) with hathway one week ago on[protected] and paid rs. 1343 for the installation. Till date they have not come for installation or arranged any service engineer for installation.

                          Every time i call their call centre, they say that the issue has been put on escalation and it will be resolved within that day. I have been calling for the past three days, but there is not a single call back received so far.

                          Either they have to arrange for installation as soon as possible or say that the connection is not feasible and refund the amount paid.

                            I got a call from one of the Hathway Staff, and he introduced me with an offer saying that If I recharge today with amount 2522, I will be getting 3+1 month free and I did renew my account even I had some time for renewal and after renewal I didn't get offer and the customer care is the worst service of Hathway, they just lodge the complaint but there's no solution.

                            Looking for a quick resolution.

                              I used hathway internet 3 years back which is a prepaid connection. I requested to disconnect the service while i was shifting my house in jan 2016. However no response from hathway. I requested to shift the connection to newly shifted house later through phone on feb 2016. However as hathway is not available in new shifted place, there is no chance to shift the connection. So i requested to close the connection and they...

                              I got a message saying legal notice has been sent to user * for hathway broadband a/c no.*
                              Plz pay immediately rs9915.61 to avoid further legal action. For any query cont legal team [protected], [protected]

                              So i visited hathway head office at hyderabad and complained about the calls that i am receiving on daily basis.

                              I asked the hathway executive (Satish) about the below details but he has no information on this.

                              1) i asked a lot of times in the past to disconnect my connection as i am moving out of current place

                              2) bill info :_ can you provide me the bill details and data usage of my account as i didn't use the account for more than a 1 1/2 year.

                              3) as far as i remember my plan is prepaid how it got changed to post paid can you provide me plan info

                              4) when i am not using the account for more than a year why it is still active as its a prepaid connection

                              5) suddenly after almost more than a year with out any intimation to pay the bill how can you register a case.

                              6) even i visited the near by rajendra nagar police station at hyderabad and si spoke to him but the person didn't gave any information to the police officer except that i am calling from delhi consumer court.

                              Why i need to pay bill for the account which i am not using for more than 11/2 year

                              I haven't done anything at. I just listened to their call and politely asked for court summons . I have charged after my connection is removed and devices are collected. They are asking for 1850 Rupees. Why we should pay extra. I have the mail conversations and Bill receipt with me. I know something will happen like this in future from hathway.

                                I had a hathway connection about three years back. I have disonnected the connection in may 2015 sending a mail and also the executive collected back the modem after the deactivation. Now after three years i got a text message from them saying that legal notice has been sent to me asking to pay rs 3898 to clear this. What the hell is that someone charging money after the internet connection is deactivated and the executive taking back the modem and now sending a false legal notice after 3 years without any communication prior in these 3 years. How can you charge for something that the customer did not use for?

                                  I had a hathway connection 2 years ago where i had to pay for the subscription before starting to use it.

                                  But after the subscription expired, they did not cut the connection, they kept it on.

                                  The service guys never came/called to inquire for renewal or to disconnect the connection.

                                  The internet wasn't working either.

                                  We had to shift from that locality after few weeks, hence we moved from that place waiting till the last day that someone would come.

                                  Now, after 2 years, i received a legal notice that i have to pay rs. 12617 to avoid further legal actions.

                                  What is this for?? Non-usage or for your service reps to be not good at their work.

                                  You can't ask someone to pay for something which they did not use at all after their subscription expired.

                                  5)Suddenly after almost more than a year with out any intimation to pay the bill how can you register a case.

                                  6) Even I visited the near by Rajendra Nagar Police station at Hyderabad and SI spoke to him but the person didn't gave any information to the police officer except that I am calling from Delhi consumer court.

                                  Why I need to pay bill for the account which I am not using for more than 11/2 year

                                  Same thing happened with me.. I visited mumbai office.. i didn't get any help from there.

                                  when i placed a request for termination of the connection they asked me to submit the router. I requested them to send on executive to collect the same as it was not possible for me to visit their office and submit.. they agreed to send on executive to collect, but no one came for that and neither i received a call back to submit the router at their office.. now they are saying as a customer it is your responsibility to submit the router at the office, then why the hell they agreed at first to place to send an executive??
                                  i have faced the same issue, i have return the router 2 years back and today they send me an email with legal notice of compensation of 12000 rupees.
                                  We went to the office and they in threatening toned told us to pay the compensation or they will sue us in the high court.

                                  The connection was disconnection 2 years back and the router was returned to their office still they are sending us the legal notice now.

                                  Please suggest us what should we do ?
                                  Keep calling the nodal officers of respective cities for the same. Unless n until we keep calling them in bulk numbers they won't take any action. You can get their contacts on site.
                                  Same thing happen to me. Now lets make the things simple. Its your hard earned money . No need to pay a single penny to anybody. Let them send legal notice . Get a lawyer. File a case against Hathway for harassment and extortion in consumer court. Fight a legal battle with legal one. Drag them to the court. It will cost you but you know " consumer is king ", court will rule in favor as there was not fault from your side. You will get all your lawyer fees with compensation. Since Jio has come, these people are out of business, so they are just extorting money from innocent people.

                                  Exact same thing has happened recently. I think if we all get together and threaten them they all stop this non-sense. I thought I was alone in this, but here we are lot of people. Its high time these people are taught some lesson

                                    Hi team,

                                    I am prajot kulkarni my hathway account number was [protected]. I already disconnected my account in nov 2016 but today i received message saying legal notice is sent to me and need to pay 3634.74 to about legal action.
                                    First tong is my connection is prepaid forcefully they converted to postpaid i already dropped mail to discontinue my service or convert my account to prepaid and send me new plan details but i did not get any response from them.
                                    I received calls to pay the amount i told all the situation to them and forwarded all communication with nodal desk and customer care then call are stopped and they also agreed on my concern.
                                    Hope you will help me in it.
                                    Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      I have closed the hathway connection 2 years back as i was shifting to new location. It has been two years now, suddenly i am receiving calls from legal department to pay the outstanding dues. Which in my case in not valid as the account has been terminated.

                                      Hathway is using this scam for getting hard earn money from consumers.

                                      I visited the office twice but they have no clue like why consumer are being charged without even a active connection.

                                      To my surprise i saw 10 people with me who are having same issues
                                      Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
