Following is the mail which i have sent to hathway

Hello,

Please find below the trailing mails. Please check the mail dated "mon, may 14, 2018 at 1:33 pm" from your billing team, in which it is clearly ask by your team to pay rs 824 for june 2018 month payment and the remaining wrong amount will be taken for waiver as that was a wrong amount.

Last time when i had a discussion with your executive (Daisy), i clearly told her to put me in my old plan rs824 plan, which i was using earlier before taking your new plan in jan 2018, and to this she agreed and thats why i was asked by billing team to pay rs 824.

This month also, same issue is coming and i am being asked to pay rs 3000 which is reflecting as due amt in my account. This is a wrong amount, and it should have been waived off. I am not going to pay this wrong amount and since i am getting this wrong billings every month, i do not want to continue with hathway.

Please disconnect my connection asap.

    unnecessary calls

    I was having a broadband service from hathway in mumbai. Since i have shifted to kolkata, i had disconnected the connection. It's been two months now, i am receiving multiple calls from their service center (Sometime 4 calls daily), why i have diconnected and other stupid questions.     Hi,

    I disconnected the hathway connection in nov 2015 and there executive had come and collected the modem as well.

    Even after getting confirmation from customercare and returning the modem i used to get the bills for 4 months... I called customer care and they informed that's a miss from there side and the connection is disconnected. Even i replied to the billing mails and later that billing mails stopped coming.

    Today suddenly i have received a phone call from kishore - delhi court, saying that i had to pay 7200 to the hathway and he gave a lawyer phone number and told me to contact him. The lawyer informed that i need to pay in half hour else they will file a case against me.

    When i asked them the other party details, he started speaking rudely and told me to get near a net center and call him so that he will give me account number to transfer the amount.
    When i told him will check with hathway customer care, he started threatening saying to get a lawyer ready and 30k in fines.

    Hathway can check the complaints raised for my account 1187505 to there customercare.

    They can check the replies done to the bills they sent even after discontinuing the connection.

    They can even check the usage for the connection after nov 2015.

    Would be helpful if hathway resolves this and stops threatening people over calls.

    I also got the same call from kishore - delhi court, saying that i had to pay 6800 for the pending due of Hathway broadband which was closed in July 2015 .
    I am getting threatening calls from them, they are blackmailing over call .
    I am also getting the same calls and messages...They are not helping at all..They charged me for extra month after my connection is removed ..I have all the proof documents with me .
    same here they blackmail in a very threatening tone, and say ill be jailed.i havent used hathway in years and they are asking me to pay 6800.we need to connect mail me([protected]@gmail.com)

      .. I had made the payment before 20 days.. And have contacted thrice to the customer service.. Still the issue is not resolved.
      After consulting the customer care executives.. They will say that it would get resolved by end of the day but dnt know which day 😓

      This is completely inappropriate from hathway.

        Have terminated hathway broadband services on march 2017 and services have been terminated for me after shifting to new house and they have not collected free wifi router provided that time. But the billing has been continued till now and today i got call from advocate from delhi 'tis hazari named and she told he will send account number and i need to transfer money of false due 3774 to that account or else she told she will forward the file and i need to pay penality of 65000 and 420 case will be registerd on me. I told her this is some backen issue from hathway that they have not updated their systems but she said pay the bill or she will file a complaint. Please make justice for me as they are blackmailing me saying money laundering 420 case.

          Hi, i got a call from this no. ‭+[protected]‬ Some days before that some case has filed against me in maharashtra court which was forwarded to delhi court by some private company situated in my city. I searched on google this no. and found on forum that this call was fake. So i didnt respond to that. Today[protected] i got a call from a person name hemant saxena ‭+[protected]‬. He yelled at me first. Then he said im gonna forward your case in delhi high court given by hathway within one hour if you dont pay the bill. So i called at my regional hathway office. The lady from office said, yes from hathway delhi, cases are being filed. I asked hear why any warning wasnt given. She said you have to come in office we have special dept for that. I went to office and asked her where is legal dept. she directed me towards payment counter and said he handles this. And i asked him why wasnt i informed and that person mf says nothing and askes me the hathway acc no. for payment. I knew they all were bluffing some kind of mili bhagat. But i had no time to prove their bluffing as i was given only 1 hour to pay. I called that hemant saxena again to ask some questions. He said dont waste my time and threatened me to pay money otherwise im forwarding the case to delhi high court within half hour. I had no choice but pay the amount. And he specifically mentioned to pay online. I paid on hathway office instead and asked to terminate my connection permanently. I took a receipt of disconnection and gave receipt no. To the saxena person. And he said thankyou in return. Why would a person from high court say thankyou like i paid him instead of hathway. Some kind of big sham by hathway. I also found out that hathway got a disconnection notice from indiacast media early this year. I took my connection in 2015 and i stopped using after 2016. During that period they charged me extra but i had proper usage calculations and explained them that you charged me extra so they reduced some 500-800 rs. later i found out that they still charged some amount extra. I wished i could have went to nearby lawyer when i got the first call some days before. If this happens to anyone out there please consult to your family lawyer before acting anything. Thanks

            I have discontinued hathway service after facing worst internet service in end of 2015.
            After completion of paid service period, i informed them to stop services and collect router but no one came to collect router. And no contacts for 3 years now suddenly they are saying i have due of 6856.95.
            How come they charge bill when router is disconnected.
            Now hathway people and legal team are harassing to pay due amount which is totally unprofessional and fraudulent.

            IF it is prepaid service (you pay and then use) then I do not think they have a stand, Also since you have informed them to stop services and also to collect the router, hence it would not be your problem.
            But I do have a suggestion.
            A) Please keep all the copy of mail where you intimated them about your decision to discontinue their services and also that they should take back the router.
            B) If they message you again, tell them they need to pay rent to you for keeping their Luggage (the router) at your home for period of 36 months, with rent of Rs 100 a day for occupying premium space.
            After all they should not be undermining you and use your home as their store room

            Yes, It was prepaid service . There was no email communication with hathway also there is no email linked on my hathway account .
            we went through their customer representative/dealer .
            They did not send any email regarding balance due in past three years .
            i think this was a fraud call. even i got call from PA of an advocate to which hathway has hired. she was saying that " u havent paid the amount of 8k for the account which was used 2 years ago." she also was saying that they have sent notices. and insisting us to pay online through link she gave us.
            and after all this when we asked about the off add, she dont have that. she doesnt have any deatils of our usage and bill period. ha ha . it was prepaid.

            till date they didnt sent any email, msg. and now they are calling many times and ask for payment in 1 hr, 2 hr.

            same happened with me . They want the payment done in 30 mins or i need to go to court and pay 50000 fine..
            I am also getting the same calls and messages...They are not helping at all..They charged me for extra month after my connection is removed ..I have all the proof documents with me .

            1. I have the device collection bill receipt
            2. The mails i sent them to deactivate the connection.

              After taking the hathway connection., there is a regular disconnection for every 3-4 days or max a week. The issue is not resolved till now and no other person from the management is contactable. There are n numbers of complaints given neither the hathway team nor their management is getting the same resolved. Im loosing my business due to them. If they cannot get the issues like this closed, then why cant they merge into airtel who gives a seamless network connection in broadband.

                I had recently renewed my subscription for 3 months on the 28th of may. I was contacted by your representative asking for renewing the subscription. I had mentioned the new address n the call and while on call with your agent who insisted i renew before i shifted they did not mention any thing about the not serviceable part of my new address. I had mentioned that i will renew my account post shifting and they insisted i do it on the 28th itself and they will shift the connection and continue the plan.

                I then personally visited the service office at malad west, liberty garden and i was assured that the refund will be provided when i contact '[protected]@hathway.net'. The reply from billing desk is that no refund will be provided. I am seriously thinking of going to consumer court after having been tossed around like a football by your company representatives.

                  Hi,

                  I am deepika, account number - [protected]

                  I have applied for new connection on 24-june-2018 as i received call from sale agent.

                  Things were not okay from the beginning.

                  We were not given with any receipt for the payment (Only message received)
                  Sales agent kept on giving wrong commitments about installation and packages.

                  And so i have requested for cancellation as connection was not established till evening of 27-june-2018 (It was confirmed initially by sales agent that i will receive connection on same day of payment).

                  Now i am getting continuous call from service team that i have some network issue and they confirm that it was registered on some other name. I believe some one have wrongly updated my number in some one account.

                  Also no calls from any one regarding refund.

                    I am using hathway broadband for the past 7 months. Service is very poor and they have taken 6 months subscription amount. No response for any technical issue. I have requested them to disconnect and pay me remaining amount. They said fine and disconnected, but didn't responded about refund. Its been 30 days and no proper response from customer casre, everytime they promise call back about refund but i didnt get any call. My customer account number is[protected].

                        I had taken a hathway connection for which i mistakenly (By the influence of hathway person) paid the amount through lazypay. As i wasn't aware about it, i repaid the same amount for the same month directly to hathway and not lazypay. Now lazypay people are spamming me like hell. I have sent several emails to both these organizations and have asked them to settle the amount between themselves but still they are not leaving me. I get hundreds of spam calls from lazypay daily. I will never ever use this thing in my life again and hathway is so unprofessional that they are not sending the extra amount to this lazypay. Such are the startups in our country. Fake and #. Please stop spamming me.
                        These people seems to be spammers. Today (12/05/2021) I got call from [protected] saying to hold my suspended hathway account I need to provide OTP, and I found that the message is from LazyPay; immediately I warned them and disconnected the call. When I did check the net I can see lots of complaints regarding the same, also in TrueCaller this number has been marked as "Hathway Scam" by 85 people.

                          This is my worst experience in hathway.. This is the 10th time im raising the same problem again. My net gets automatically disconnected again n again.. The modem gets off by itself after few hours (Sometimes minutes). All four lights start blinking. What the # is this. How many times do i have to raise the complaint. This is the last time im complaining about this dumb internet connection. Im seriously tired of your services. If you cant handle your services properly to the satisfaction of a consumer, then why are you even existing in this field. This is seriously harrasment on your part that everytime a consumer gets a recharge on your fake promises to resolve his issue and the same problem pops up in a fews days after the recharge. This is how you work in your sector. Mind you this time, if my problem is not solved permanently, i am going to raise this issue till the highest level and will ensure that your net connections are not bought by anyone.

                            I have shifted to new home located in Ananth Nagar, Bangalore on February from Doddanagamangala and in advance I had called customer care to shift the connection to new address.

                            After shifting they have collected my new address and have never confirmed about the new service availability on my new address.

                            I have even requested the team to close the connection in case if they can't shift the connection.

                            The connection is not closed or shifted till today but I still see they are billing for connection which is not active since February, 2018.

                              I have requested for shifting of my set top box as per below details.

                              Still my set top box is not shifted. I am waiting for your response but i do not get any response from you.
                              Also, i have called and email so many times to customer care, nodal office but still no any response.

                              Also, please do let me know, what is the legal action for harassment of customer in delay of any services and refund of poor services.

There is no response from customer care and feild engineer. I have posted mails in there complaint portal but the issue was not yet resolved.                                   I have been facing through a new Hathaway broadband connection. I took your broadband services just this week, by making a full payment for 6 months. I took a 50 MBPS plan, but all i am getting is 1MBPS. On top of that the internet is only working near the router, and not working anywhere else (inside the room etc).

                                    I am not able to view TLC and ANIMAL PLANET and some other HD channels.
                                    I have cable connection from Aarati Communications, Mathikere, Bengaluru-560054. My Hathway card number is[protected]. When asked the cable operator says that the connection will be restored. But has never restored even after one month.

                                      I had installed my hathaway cable box towards the end of feb 2018 by my local cable operator mr dilip udani mobile no [protected] and i paid him by cheque the full amount for the year which was about 6000+.
                                      However after a few days i could not view certain hd channels so i called him to take the box and give me a refund of my money which he had promised.
                                      It’s been 4 months and after numerous phone calls to him he has not come to take the hd box and has not even refunded me my money.
                                      Did not expect such bad service from hathaway.
