I am hathway cable user for the last 17 years in bangalore. My account no is [protected]. I have been complaining for the last 3 days that my cable is not working. But it works for a hour or two and morining is stopped. Your representative refuses to answer my calls. The office no rings but not answered. Bangalore customer care no not working. Really fed up with the service and need an immediate soultion

    Ac no [protected], I paid 1414 INR for my Hathway connection on 4th April 2018. But I didn't take the connection after that. I have raised a refund request through emailing helpdesk calling helpline and in every possible way. They stopped responding after a point of time. I have an email receipt stating that I have paid 1414 INR in cash on the same day.

      I have subscribe hathway broadband for last three months. Till now i am not able to use the internet for a day due to los issue. We called the customer support and raised request, the answer replied by the customer support for this issue is by either account deactivated or physical wire problem
      Till now nothing is resolved and technicians are not capable of handling the request and priority of the issue.
      Again this month i called customer support and they informed to pay the money to activate the account i had pay the amount. But still now account i not activated and none of the technician not able to resolve the request.

      As of now i have raised 18 requests for last three months but nothing is resolved.

      Requesting people dont use the hathway broadband services in chennai region they are not capable of handling the request and not ready to resolve the customer request.

        not extended the validity as promised

        I took hathway connection on 22nd nov -17 (Acc no:[protected]) in hyderabad for 6 months (So supposed to end on 23rd may -18).
        As part of this plan, they said i will be getting 1 month extra.
        When i sent mail they responded as below:

        I am a hathway broadband consumer and my account number is [protected]. I became hathway consumer due to a false commitment made by representative of m/s narang communication who assured me a fibre to home connection in three weeks, better customer support and low tariff as compared to my earlier isp m/s excitel.
        My worries started from the moment i switched over. My excitel connection was stopped and new connection not activated for almost two-three days by m/s narang communication. Fibre cable not installed for as long as four months. Every month i am getting reminder for recharge of my connection 10 days in advance and there is not even a single month that my connection worked for thirty days.
        On saturday 19th may, 2018 after the intervention of mr d p singh (Hathway official m [protected]) a new modem and fibre cable was installed and assured that new connection will be activated in two hour. It did not happened then we started calling the technician on his mobile [protected] but he never bothered to pick our call even for once.
        My complaint nos 20052018w344312, 21052018w358334, 21052018c11466, 21052018m361147, 22052018c11853 and last 22052018m374528 have not been resolved as yet inspite of the fact that i have received an sms that my problem has been resolved.
        The csr at customer care (At 19:30 hrs) informed me that the server is down at it will take 4 hours to restore and my account can only be activated after that.
        The phone numbers of the nodal officer ms rupali is also off
        I myself is a senior government official in a utility i can very well understand the customer service. May be i will switch over to another service provider but i can assure you with this kind of attitude and service cannot be appreciated at all. For the last four days i have not been able to use my connection as such i would like to get full refund of my monthly charges which i have recharged well in advance.
        May i request your good-self to kindly look into my problem and get it resolved because writing this mail means that i have approached the last post and after that there is no other way to expect any resolution of my problem but i have to explore other ways.

          I was shifting flat in the same apartment asked for connection shift. Since they said it’s a paid service and is equal to a new connection amount i have asked for connection termination and have paid the bill generated for the month of april 2014 on 9th may 2014 along with pro rate charges until 9th may 2014.

          After 4 years, now i’m getting messages for amount due of 606 inr. Does this make any sense? Now they have called and are asking for proof of payment which obviously i’ll not have after these many years. Is this planned way of taking revenge on customers who have terminated your connection? I stay in hyderabad and they are asking me to visit chennai court for hearings. Completely unfair business

            I have been complaining regarding my connection not working for almost more then two weeks...
            The second day of my complaint people from hathaway came to check and told me that the modem given by them was not working and has to be replaced...
            Till now it was not done and more over they ask me to pay my bill for the next month also while the connection itself is not working...
            After a few days in between as my validity was over the connection is deactivate...
            I have been calling hathaway so many time but still nothing done...
            And it's not the only time this is happening... I have be complaining about my connection almost every month as it keeps getting disconnected...
            This looks like clear case of fraud done by hathaway collecting money and not giving the service they r supposed to...

              In Hyderabad, Hathway recently started offering unlimited GB plans.So, I chose the 6 months plan which offers Unlimited [protected]@50Mbps. Everything was fine until the renewal date. I made the payment the next day and discovered that there is a "20GB/day" limit in an "Unlimited plan".After exhausting the 20 GB I was getting really slow speeds like 2 Mbps. I called customer care several times and they said the same thing that there is a daily 20GB limit. They had no answer when I asked them why didn't they inform me of the daily limit they just kept saying it's an update. I mean how come a "truly unlimited plan" have a daily limit.
              Hathway is making changes without informing it's customers.

                A couple of months back, when the hathway connection wasn't working, the company suggested i take a new connection along with a new router. This meant that i had two connections in my name.
                Earlier this month, i was asked to renew the connection for 3 months and get 3 months free. This payment was made into the new account.
                Since i was still being bombarded with calls about renewing the old account, i put it in a request to cancel the old account.
                The smart team at hathway cancelled the new account, and now cannot reactivate it.
                I have been told that the payment made will be transferred to the active account, and raised a ticket (#18052018w307727).
                Yesterday, i received a message saying that the issue has been resolved, but guess what? The connection isn't working.

                  On 19th may 2018 i called and complained about broadbank internet not working where the representative replied that their brm is not working so cannot take complaint now. Then complained on app and called for follow up. I was told techie would be deputed soon but denied to give techie contact details nor a tentative time. Later on not getting any calls from them i again called them and requested them to connect to their supervisors or superiors. After keeping me on hold for 15 min and making me listen the hathway advt the call gets disconnected. I had been repeatedly trying to make my efforts to speak to their supervisor or superiors i should have made 8-10 calls and also recorded all the call conversation. At around 5 pm finally i get a call from one of the supervisors and ask me to reset modem. On complaint not being resolved assured to send technician before 8pm. After call i see my complaint raised previous day 19052018m334776 gets closed. A new complaint raised by them with a reference number 20052018w343824. Again on calling and enquiring they say complaint is raised today 5pm and will be attended within 24 that is tomorrow when i enquired about my yesterday's complaint not resolved but closed they say cable broken and connected so the task completed but no one turned up to attend to my house nor my complaint has been resolved. On repeated enquiry and clarifying them no one visited for my problem they change complaint to shifting where my original complaint for net not working. Also told technician not available beyond 2pm so only next day whereas superiors assured to send technician before 8 pm. See the versions change and how they are lying to the customers. I got recording of all conversations and i also conveyed them that i have recordings of all conversation and duration they put me on hold and disconnected the lying after 20 min without their supervisors and superiors speaking to me. I had to make 8-10 calls and each one duration of 15-20 min which not attended properly. Every time they assure to connect superiors but don't connect keeping you on hold. Just imagine the amount i should have spent on phone calls.

                  Pathetic service and fooling the customers. They have no reply to state the reason for closing my complaint without resolving. They only keep saying sorry 100 times in every call.

                  I am paying them on quarterly/halfyearly/annual basis for last 2-3 years and this is the treatment i get from them.

                  I would never ever recommend others to take broad band connection of hathway for fooling the customers.

                  No seniors to attend the calls and complaints and call centres seem to left with trainees and no superiors to attend calls and complaints.

                  Pathetic service... The true test of the customer service is during these hours and this is the way they responded to me.

                  Today 21st may 2018 09:30 am till now there was not call from the technician or the supervisor conveying the time to attend the issue.

                      Hathway has sent me a legal notice sms asking for 6335 rupees for a connection which has not even used in the last two years. When i asked them about the breakdown of the bill and why they are charging me that amount there is no response from them.
                      Now they have messaged me that they have filed a legal lok adalat case.
                      This for a connection which i had asked to cancel 2 years back, now i see they have never cancelled the connection even though they told me on phone that they have.
                      I have never missed a single payment when i was using their service and now they are charging me 6335 for a connection which used to be only 700 rupees per month.

                      Clearly they are frauding people because they refuse to even provide the details when asked.

                      Hathway cable connecrions arw worst.i have hathway set up box and it will not have signal if a little rain falls also..if air comes some hardly outside signal will be gone for 1 days..worst service ever ..in hyderabad there is worst hathway cable and broadband..hyderabad meerpet near lb nagar worst signal and service..

                        I've used hathway internet connection for two months in 2016 jan and feb and my account number is 1505127. I had a lot of disputes regarding their billing, they charged more than the plan i opted for. So i have requested them to disconnect and changed to another provider.
                        After two years, now they sent me a legal notice stating the bill due is 13934
                        That's a whopping 14 thousand rupees for the service i haven't been provided. I called the customer care explaining the issue their response was blunt telling me to pay the bill regardless my connection was on hold. Adding to this my account number has been changed to [protected], i don't think account number can be changed for a customer.
                        I've been waiting for their billing department to respond and resolve the issue but no show from them, meanwhile i'm getting messages regarding the legal notice.
                        To put it simply "hathway" does not have a proper structure for anything and the worst customer support i've ever seen.

                          Took a 50 Mbps (Unlimited) 3 Months Plan

                          I have an issue with the internet speed from the past week.
                          I have contacted the customer care they said that the problem will be resolved and a service request will be raised, the request will be closed later and the problem won't be solved.

                          After so many calls to the customer care finally a supervisor came to the line and said that per day limit is 20 GB and after that speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps. But at the time of bill payment they said there is no speed limits . when i asked them i was not intimated about the daily limit, then he told me we are sorry .They say UNLIMITED plan but they are giving 600 GB at 50 Mbps per month.

                          Previously i used a plan which is 40 Mbps 450 GB plan after the limit is crossed its 512 Kbps, I don't know how this is different from what they say UNLIMITED plan but they keep a daily limit.

                          As i am in the middle of the month and i don't want to continue the connection please give me the refund for the rest.

                            Sir i paid 1000/- for 3 months dataplan but neither the connection is installed yet nor the payment is refund. When i asked the they said that my address is not under their area. Then i asked for the refund they told me to submit a mail refgarding this.

                            One more thing... They told me that only 550/- is paid by me but when i paid i get msg through bank of 1000/-.
                            Dont why they are trying to manipulate me.

                              My internet account with hathway co is [protected] which i asked them to terminate 2years ago instead of terminating it they are charging me more money without internet and threatening to file a case in delhi highcourt. I have paid all my dues and repeatedly asked them to disconnect which is ignored by them from time to time. Their lawyer from delhi called me out the blue and threatened my family against serious consequences so i paid the due amount even though i didnot use their internet. They have put my account on hold for 2 years and refusing to disconnect all the while charging me the amount. I sincerely request you to help me by intervening in this matter. I have no where else to go for help. Hope you understand.

                                I am staying in Mayur Vihar Phase I extension. The cable service in this area is very erratic and poor. Every other day the cable connection is disrupted. The person concerned have no idea or have no clue why this is happening. I have a problem with my set box and they are not ready to rectify or replace . I requested to change form conventional to HDMI but they don't show any interest. I have paid upto December 2018 in advance. When I ask them to disconnect my connection and refund the amount for the remaining period left there is no answer nor there is any response. The employees here in Hathaway are not cooperative and very casual. Request you to intervene and refund amount paid in advance form June to December 2018 or else I have to go for consumer redressal forum. Look forward for your early response. Thanks

                                  We have paid amount for subscription of a 3 months plan with fup limit of 150 gb data for a month.

                                  But they have updated to 20gb/month. We have to call the customer care on every month and only after 4-5 days the issue will be resolved.

                                  This is happening since 4 months. Customer care is not responding properly and are delaying the response. This is troubling us every month.

                                    I have relocate to other address where hathway is not feasible but still they have not disconnected and wrongly bill is generated. And making me call from other third party and giving warning me to pay..
                                    I have email communications where i asked for disconnect as there net is not feasible and multiple times, i have called to hathway for the same..

                                    Today I have got call from [protected], saying hathway have registered compliant against and asking to pay the wrong bill.. Before relocating I have cleared all the dues and they are pressuring to pay the bill which is not liable.. I can provide audio conversation recorded.
                                    I've been facing the same issue they have sent me a legal notice, saying bill due is 14000, I have disconnected their services two years ago.

                                      I signed up for hathway connection on september and i was getting quite good speed, like dl 7-12mbps, speed test nearly 90mbps. Recently, may be a month, i noticed slow downloads. I ran multiple speed tests, shows 12-30mbps. When i called customer care 10th of may 2018, they informed ld be sending technicians for inspection. Couple of guys came to my place by 8pm, they did something and said its an issue with the box on top of the building and ll have it checked the next day and left.
                                      Next day when i called by 2:30, they said ll be there in an hour and did not turn up. Later i received an sms stating your request is resolved and it stand closed.
                                      I called customer care again 12th of may 2018, asked the reason why the case is closed without my confirmation, they did not have a clue and was blaming the backend team. Raised a new ticket, after a day some guy came in, did same as the last technician did. Said they need to work on the laptop, i showed him the laptop, he said he's not trained in troubleshooting and ll receive a callback from another guy.
                                      Some guy called me, said my laptop doesn't support 150mbps speed of wifi and can only have 90mbps speed using ethernet cable connection. I asked him, if that's the case, why i was having no problem with speed when i took connection. He said, its not possible to get that speed. Since the call was going no where, i disconnected the call.
                                      Again, i called customer care, informing about the complaint and requesting for cancellation and refund. They said refund is not possible and ll have a technician over and fix the speed issue.
                                      So far no resolution.
