I am not able to view TLC and ANIMAL PLANET and some other HD channels.
I have cable connection from Aarati Communications, Mathikere, Bengaluru-560054. My Hathway card number is[protected]. When asked the cable operator says that the connection will be restored. But has never restored even after one month.

    I had installed my hathaway cable box towards the end of feb 2018 by my local cable operator mr dilip udani mobile no [protected] and i paid him by cheque the full amount for the year which was about 6000+.
    However after a few days i could not view certain hd channels so i called him to take the box and give me a refund of my money which he had promised.
    It’s been 4 months and after numerous phone calls to him he has not come to take the hd box and has not even refunded me my money.
    Did not expect such bad service from hathaway.

      Hi,
      I am sathish from hyderabad, actually i have closed the hathway prepaid broad band connection 2 years back. Now i am receiving the calls to pay a bill of 6400rs. How could it is possible that prepaid connections of 499 rs could go up to 6400 rs with out using the internet.

      I shifted my house to other place and there i asked for the connection shifting. But the hathway said that we are not providing the services there. So the account got cancelled. How could they charge for cancelled services.

      Actually if i do not pay the bill they stop the services in the next day itself. This is how a prepaid service would be. My account details are [protected].

        I have been facing harassment by hathway (For broadband) since last 2 years. I had visited their office in kothrud, pune and asked to disconnect the broadband connection (Customer id [protected]) after 3 months of pathetic service. I visited the office for unsubscribing and ensured that my dues were cleared. The person in the office confirmed that the broadband will be disconnected and told me not to pay the bill (Prepaid) if it was sent to me.

        Despite this i repeatedly got bills with arrears and phone calls from hathway. Everytime i told their representative on call that i had asked to disconnect the connection and stop the billing but to no avail. Today, after a break of 2 years, they called me again threatening that they will "take action" against me if i don't pay the bills. My repeated requests, queries and complaints have fallen on deaf ears. It appears that the company is trying to extort money from customers. How can hathway continue to bill me even after i have requested to disconnect/unsubscribe my broadband connection? Should i move consumer court for resolution of this grievance?

          My internet connection is not working. It's been happening since last 15 days and every day it happens for more than 100 times when the connectivity is not these, it will be for long duration. Every day i am raising complains through their app and also calling them multiple times each day. I've asked them for permanent solution but they have not fixed. My work is getting severely affected. Their response is not at all proper.. Iam looking for a permanent solution and their response is pathetic. Iam deeply frustrated with the kind of service

            I have payed for 50mbps 500gb plan and these hathway people called me 2 weeks before renewal and when i payed immeditly and in there account and computers its showing amount received but they have activated me with 20mbps plan with 200gb in there account its showing the 50mbps 500gb plan paid but they are activated 20mbps 200gb

            I called tons of times and they agree with everything about the cost payed and the plan miss matched by them as its reflecting in there computer very clearly that they have made mistake but they are not solving

            They are wantedly closing the complaint no# without any reasons or without customer approval no these customer care or email or facebook of hathway are not picking calls or replaying

            If i ask tell your company policy what is the issue exactly they agree its there fault but still they are not able to solve from past 3 weeks where i have already payed for 3 months

            If hathway blames any mistake from my side in payment then i will take that blame but when hathway agrees there is true fault with them why are they not ready to change the plan from there system a simple problem to be solved they are not able to solve

            One of the fraud works created by hathway by taking money for 3 months and locking a customer so he should not go from there service

            If these bloody people give the amount back simply we can go to act or other connections

              Hi,
              On 19th june i received a call from delhi court saying need to pay outstanding amount of rs 6125/- for the hathway broadband connection, otherwise they will file a case against me.
              They tortured me by making frequent calls to pay the amount.
              So i paniced and paid the amount.

              But after that i referred my old mails and found a mail (2nd sep 2015) which i addressed to hathway for disconnecting my connection and even in the mail i mentioned the service request number.. And also from that day i didn't used the internet, but still i used to get the invoice for every month and ignored the invoice mail being i am not using the internet.

              Today i visited hathway office and they are saying it is not in their hand...

              Can anyone help me on this..

              Till date I have not heard of any telecom company taking legal action against a customer for unpaid dues. So you may not worry. However, I case the company persists, we have the option to take the company to consumer court. If the bill indicates that it is prepaid, the company cannot force you to pay it if you do not want to use its services.

              They should disconnect it if you have given request. You are not liable for paying if you haven't used it. Company should disconnect the internet and stop billing after receiving your request. You should file a complaint in consumer court.
              I had requested the Hathway office in my region to stop my subscription and provided them a copy of the bill with all customer details. He checked and confirmed that all previous bills were paid and ensured me that the subscription will be stopped. He specifically told me not to pay the bill (prepaid) if it was sent next month. However they kept sending me the bills and kept calling me to pay them. Everytime I told the representative that I had asked to disconnect the internet connection. 2 years later I'm still getting calls.

                Hathway such an idiotic and manner less customer care executives that they abuse us when we tell them that your service is not good and when we start shouting they go on to very bad abusive language ... they cannot provide proper network and cant have a proper team to solve the issues ... be ware of taking the connection and face problems. i[censored] cannot maintain the service then please shut ur organization and stop cheating people.

                  I got my hathway broadband connection for Netaji Nagar, Delhi
                  After i disconnected the connection and returned the router the company claimed to refund my 1000 for the router but nothing happened.

                  I complained at their customer care center they said that they will send the money by cheque in 45 days but now over 6 months have passed and i haven't recieved my money.

                    I have purchased the prepaid plan of hathway broadband cable in august 2016 and have not recharge after january 2017. I have sent mail regarding closing of account and inform the hathway representative to close the account.
                    Since then i have not used any internet data.
                    Suddenly i am receiving a call from delhi court for payment of outstanding rs 5121.00 otherwise case will be filled against me.
                    How come prepaid plan connection getting outstanding bills? They dont have any business in market now this is the way to get money? Shame on hathway cable and datacom... Who is the owner of this company?

                      I have requested hathway broadband connection to close my account and i haven't heard from them in this regard ever since. I have tried to reach them through different channels but i haven't received a single call regarding the issue. All the more i have been constantly harassed by their call center executive by calling me thrice a day for past 3 weeks.
                      It is really frustrating to attend their calls when i have requested them to close my account more than 20 times.
                      Any help would be really appreciated.

                        I have moved to Hathway recently for 150 Mbps speed at home considering the tremendous work that I couldn't manage at the office.
                        But the saddest part which was never useful to me. I get to speed around ranging from 1 Mbps to 30 Mbps with frequent disconnections which this broadband pure waste of my money and time. Raised 5-6 complaints in 2 months and issue were repetitive and never given a proper solution. All tickets are being closed which is something I hate the most.
                        Is there a place where I get it escalated and resolved or should I go for disconnection of service?

                        Above complaint is still opening and the back end team of hathway pathetic.
                        Not sure if there is someone to control them. Last 6 tickets of my issue were closed without resolution which is most irresponsible behaviour seen in recent past from a service entity.
                        My personal suggestion don't ever go with hathway broadband.
                        Can please help me disconnection and refund of my amount paid.

                          I have been using hathway broadband since august 2016. Recently i renewed the my plan with 6 months plan by paying rs.3, 249.72 valid from 22-may-2018 to 22-nov-2018. Last week i have shifted my house to new loaction which is just 100 meters away from old house. When i requested for shifting of my connection they said connection is not feasible at my new loaction. They didn't even give the proper reason why it is not feasible. After series of mail conversation i asked for refund o[censored]nused rental, not even 1 month completed since my last renewal. I asked them to refund the money of 5 months, and i was shoked to hear their response "plan which you opted for pre-paid plan it is one time billing amount for which refund is not applicable. Further for any feasible area we can able to provide the service on a special case without any shifting charges". Now they are neither providing me the connection nor refunding my money. This is the case of pure opportunism. First they lure the customers for taking connection and after taking connection they will show their back. This is clearly looting of money from customers.

                            A service request was initiated on june 1, 2018 for transfer of hathway broad band connection from 1602, era 3, marathon nextgen to 801, era 3, marathon nextgen i. E. Within the same complex. This request has not been responded to despite several calls and emails. The latest one being a 45 minute wait over a service call this morning to repeat the same complaint.
                            This despite being a premium customer for last 7 years.. We are being charged for the past 17days without being provided service.
                            Shame in the name of customer service.

                            You leave no choice but legal recourse through consumer court

                              I had prchsd a plan from gtpl brdbnd cnnctn in a scheme of 12 mnths+free 12 mnths+24 mnths. Now as 12 mnths have cmplted they hve discnncted my connection and on asking why discnnection as my plan is for 24 mnths. They askd to show the cash receipt that the guy gave before one year while i purchased the conection. I am unable to find the receipt. They are denying to extend the plan without seeing the receipt.
                              But the point is while purchasing the plan i was given the scheme now how can they deny for extending the period of connection. And they are denying to see their duplicate copy of the receipt.
                              I feel that they are cheating customers like me and luring them to pay money by giving such plan

                                This is mahesh shrinivas vathi from hyderabad holding hathway internet account number : 1362726.

                                Sir i had chosen a prepaid account during installation and was paying the bill via cash before starting the internet pack for a given month. My internet connection with hath-way was started from 20/06/2015 for a duration of 3 months which i paid by cash in the starting itself. My internet plan was a prepaid one.

                                I stopped using hathway network since last one and a half year. After calling the customer care for several times for deactivation no body responded at that time.

                                Today (13/06/2018) i got a call from a sandeep sharma who claims to be from civil consumer court - delhi saying i have an outstanding amount of rupees 10, 527 to be paid for a post paid connection which i never opted for.

                                I visited the head office in himayatnagar for the issue but was not given any information regarding the account summary.

                                I am attaching the bill copy in which it is clearly mentioned that i had opted for a prepaid plan.

                                The so called head-office of hathway in himayatnagar is good for nothing, they were not able to provide my account details when asked, and after every call to customer care they direct us to this head-office which is of no use.

                                Thsi is ridiculous from hathway to extract money for the connection which was never used.

                                  For hathway account :[protected] wrong billing of 3404 inr has been generated, and we have not used it, not even a single day from past 2 months.
                                  Infect this internet connection used to be activated once we pay the amount and if payments are not done it used to remain deactivated till the next payment without generating any billing pending on us.

                                  Hathway has changed our connection from prepaid to postpaid automatically without given us any detail. And now generating falls bills.
                                  I had raised requested: service request id[protected]w743851
                                  Service id[protected]c13835

                                  But they have closed it without doing anything.
                                  When i spoke to customer care they said my bill will be nullified, but again hathway office from pune called me and asked me to do payment otherwise legal action will be taken.

                                  This is purely antisocial activity from hathway side.

                                  One more thing to mention here, while taking connection hathway agent told me that if i want to deactivate connection just call to customer care and we will send agent to take modem but now they are asking me to come to their office to submit it.
                                  This is a horrific behaviour by hathway

                                    I had a Hathway Broadband connection in Pune ([protected]). It was a prepaid connection. In the month of Jan 2017, I extended the connection for one month and paid Rs. 880/-. And on Feb 22, 2017 I asked for a disconnection and I have submitted the modem to the agent. And I had paid 100/- as some closure fees. Also, I had sent a mail to the concerned authority for closure of the account. But, a few days back, I got a call from some one claiming to be an advocate asking me to pay my due amount of Rs.4852/-. When I checked the details, I see they have set the due amount to pay as 4852/- in the website. On June 09, 2018I met with the Pune office manager Mr. Rakesh Phuge, explained the details. When he checked the details he found that for my account the submission of the Modem is listed. The account is terminated. But there is a payment due of Rs.4852/- too. I do not understand how this bill is generated when everything is closed.

                                    Request you to look into this matter and revert the wrong bill generated.
                                    Please find attached the email sent for closing the account.

                                      These are the deceptive emails from hathway trying to extract money though the connection was not there from 2014 year.
                                      They disconnected longtime ago, took the modem later, they said don't worry about bill, computer generates automatically...

                                      We request you to kindly share the proof of disconnection request mail and device acknowledgement receipt, it will enable us to assist you better.

                                      I paid every bill, bills are with me, you disconnect automatically when current month bill is not paid.
                                      Your agent took the modem and spoken on phone to the call center that he is taking modem, your billing department says computer generates bill automatically don't worry about it.
                                      Is this game or what.

                                      Using Hathway cable network from my digital cable network, connection keeps going multiple times and zero support from mk digital. Contact person Kertiraju does not picks up phone as well.

                                      Hathaway should ensure that. Mk digital provides proper services at HM world city appartment JP Nagar Bangalore.

                                        My office is located in fort, mumbai. There was always network and speed issue from hathway broadband therefore i have discontinued their internet services from 2/10/2017 and router / modem has also been collected by their representative mr. Sachin gurav vide grn no.293711 dated 3.11.2017.

                                        I have sent numerous emails/reminders for the refund of my deposit. For my every email their reply comes that the issue will be solved at the earliest but still i have not received my deposit, which shows negligence at your end..

There was always network and speed issue from Hathway Broadband therefore I have discontinued their internet services from 2/10/2017 and router / modem has also been collected by their representative Mr. Sachin Gurav vide GRN No.293711 dated 3.11.2017.

                                        I have sent numerous emails/reminders for the refund of my deposit. For my every email their reply comes that the issue will be solved at the earliest but still i have not received my deposit, which shows negligence at your end..
