Hathway computers purposely extra bills for 2014 year and later.

I paid bills every month, connection will cut off if i don't pay bill in next month, collection agent comes and takes money, in 20 minutes the internet will be working again, i took another isp provider. I told hathway to disconnect my connection, they didn't listen.net was disconnected in 2014, billdesk didn't knew about it and didn't hold the connection, modem was returned later.
I called hathway in 2014, 2015 and 2016 year, they said don't worry bill generates automatically by computer.

Connection was on account number 794453, its old id, they gave new account numbers to old customers.
Delhi lawyers or the guys from hathway posing as lawyers from consumer court are calling to my hyderabad mobile and talking about case for not paying bills and threatning that i should come to delhi and fight the case.

    I have taken this connection two years back, at that time i have paid and used the service, after payment only they used to give the service, after that active period, account got deactivated (No internet). After that i got a call to reactivate, but i denied it, so no service and no bill.

    After two years, i got a call from one of the legal firm and asking me to pay 11704, but my plan was nearly 800rs. Per month, i paid and used the service, how my pending amount would be that much. Then i escalated to hathway team, i have not received the proper response from the support team, and they have not replied for my last mail, i have forwarded
    The same to the nodal officer, they also doing the same, they have sent me the mail that we are working on the same, for the last two mails i have received the same response which is sent with the 15 days difference. For my third mail no response at all. Just for checking the internet usage and active period and the plan details, they are taking more than two months, still no response.

    It is clear that they are planing to do frauad.

    Totally irresponsible team with hathway.

    As on today i have not received any call from hathway to pay the bill amount, but simply they have forwarded to legal firm who don't know anything, directly they will call the customers and harass to do the payment.

    My request is to close the account and stop harassing me by making calls.

    I have all the mails. If you won't close it, i will go to consumer court.

    I paid the recharge before the ending date of previous recharge, but the problem is either the customer care or the person responsible for collection the bill don't give a helping hand regarding renewal process.so please be honest i[censored] wish to serve for the society for longer days.

      Hi... Was using hathway connection in 2015 and not satisfied with service, frequently there used to be disconnections and the service used be down for more than 2 to 3 days without any update from service provide even though after raising complaint customer care... After many complaints i disconnected the service in 12/28/15. I have sent mail and got reply from service provider that they will disconnect the service and collect the modem (I have mail proofs). After that i thought they will disconnect the service and not bothered about it but the are regularly sending bill to my mail id every month for bill payment which i haven't used... Now i am receiving some prank calls from delhi saying they have putt up case against me... Please help what i have to do.. Recently once again i called hathway and explained them everything still they didnt take any action and closed my request without any information... How would i take this forward.

        Our Internet is not working from past 20 days.
        We have registered the complaint to customer care they told the issue will get resolved in 24 hours . They changed the modem to Fibre but are not able to provide fibre optics to any of the customer.
        There service is one of the worst they are fraudsters and take away money.
        They dont take there customers seriously.

          I was using hathaway cable in 2015 and moved apartment in 2016. I have paid all my bills and went to hathaway office for settlement. I was told it's closed but i still keep getting the bills for 8 months. Now i am getting calls from some delhi high court lawyer saying there is a case against me and i have to pay rs.15000.
          This is ridiculous. I have cancelled the account on 30th may 2016.

            As their customers executives informed I had completed the payment but these guys not resolved the complaint and not activated the net connection. From last 3 days I was asking them but no proper resolution provides from their end.

            These guys are giving false promises and not proving good internet service.

              I have received a call from hathway saying that my account has balance due and i need to pay 20000 in court or else i can pay 1300 online and get done with.
              What i do not understand is i have never ever had any due amount left with hathway. Why am i receiving this call. Not only have i wasted one day after this thing but i am disturbed too.
              They claimed i have dues and asked me even if i can pay over paytm. If this is a fake call please let me know.

                I received a call from a tamil lady (+91 [protected]) saying that she is from chennai consumer court and there is cheating case in my name and gave me some other number (+91 [protected]) asking me to call him since he is the delhi consumer court lawyer (Kishore kumar) and ask for the case details. As i called him and enquired he was very rude and told me to pay an amount of rs.575 immediately within 30mins or else he would forward my file to the court. After few minutes, the same lady called me back and insisted to pay the amount oly through paytm even though i told them i would pay directly in hathway office in person. I had not used hathway internet even for 1 month properly due to bad service and customer care. I even returned my modem to them and have the bill for returning and didn't get any refund back (This was atleast 2 yrs back). But surprised that i received such calls and would be happy if hathway spend their time in providing gud service rather than threatening people through calls.

                  Mera 3 month ho gya brodband liye hue with 6 mbps for 12month jisme se mera net 2 month se bandh hai uski marjo ho tab open hota hai close hota hai ab 10th fail technical aake resolve karta hai fir wapas wahi issue roj hota hai or yahi cycle chalti jati hai roj... Agar aapko gtpl name bahot pasand hai unko bar bar call karna achha lagta hoto hi iska connection lena else dont even try... Or hamari government in jese logo par kuch act react bhi nai karti hai jo bahot painful hai... Ye bhi ak nirav modi ki tarah fraud hai or aese hi chalta rahega or koi kuch nai kareva or government bus hamse tax lena nai bhulegi baki is jese logo ko bhul jayegi wha d #... Shame on u guyzz

                    It is not that i am not new to this service and something happened and i am showing my frustration here. I am using the service from more than a year and never got satisfied with the service. This time they made it extreme. How ridiculous it is to shut down the service because they’re migrating to fibre connection. If you can’t manage then don’t do it, but you can’t just shut down. It’s been 25days daily i am calling them twice as i work in office till midnight due to lack of internet at home and everyday i listen from them some or the other excuse. I wonder if anyone in that office actually work. My brother is applying for higher studies and many of the applications are closing the deadlines and he’s unable to apply. When we ask for refund then these people saying 15-30 working days but neither anyone contact us for taking back their modem. Pissed off with such activities from hathway. Will never suggest anyone.

                      Hi, As requested i have submitted the said documents, and waited for 24 hours to activate my connection back, but in vain it was not done and now i requested to cancel my services and refund the amount.
                      Even it was not taken into consideration and Customer care team is just playing with the feelings and emotions of the customers by replying false commitment.

                        I cancelled my connection in 2016 at banglore. Hathway raised a bill after i cancelled their connection. I kept getting calls from them saying you have unpaid bills and i told them that i have canceled and not used their services since then. They called again and again and i told them the same and asked them not to call again. Today (7 june 2018) i received a suspicious call from a woman (Sharma) claiming she is a lawyer from delhi saying there is pending dues else will file a case. Then she said hasn't filed the case yet and will give us 30mins to pay, else she will file the case worth rs 58000/-.

                        This is a dupios company, harassing innocent customers.

                          Hathway connection provider is irresponsible in my area khammam (Paka banda bazaar) telangana no proper maintenance
                          Always we are facing problem, even i inform i will complain in consumer forum. He said do as you wish.

                          Always not getting signals and he is not depositing the amount which we paid for him and channel not comming
                          And don't know about the device options

                          Kindly take care of this and respond it asap

                            Even i am facing the exact same issue. I was a prepaid customer. I requested for disconnection as i was relocating to a place where hathway is not available. I had a month to relocate but hathway doesnt have a prepaid plan of less than 3 months so i opted for disconnection. But your executive called and asked me to pay 950 rs to keep the internet working for a month.
                            I relocated after a month and started getting mails from hathway rrgarding due bills. Each time i have replied saying i am a prepaid customer and have opted for disconnection.
                            Now the rest of story is similar to above where they are adking me to pay or they will take legal action in delhi consumer court.
                            Anybody facing similar issue pls contact me at frompushkar @ gmail.com. There are people with similar who are planning to take collective action against the company.

                              broadband connection refund amount

                              I have paid Rs.3540/- for new broadband connection for home use purpose on 11th Feb 2018 and after 1 week I requested for cancellation because installation person never came to install the device to which I got a reply from customer care that I will receive the payment within 30-40 days. Today is 6th June 2018 and its been more than 90 days passed from the deadline but still I have not received my money back nor I have received any apology...

                              I had disconnected hathway internet service 2 years back but surprisingly i got bill of rs 5345 and i have been receiving threatening calls from lady of delhi (Received calls from these two numbers [protected], [protected]) they are calling and informing that case is filed against you, hence plz pay bill with out any reasons hathway internet is the worst service and they are harassing customers by harassment calls and giving bills without providing any service and internet

                                I have paid rs.1860/- for new broadband connection to my home use purpose on 06.03.2018. Before making the payment local sales men told we will give connection within a day after receipt of advance. But after 1 week also his not given connection, so i have given cancellation request to company and requested to give my money back and i have given my bank account details also.

                                But they telling you will come to my office and collect cash at my counter. I told to them i cannot come to your office because i am doing a job, i have to spend complete one day time for travelling from my home to your office, because my home to hathway office distance more than 60+ kms, i have to travel 3 hrs in ordinary traffic in hyderabad.

                                So i cannot go to their office for money connection, i requesting to send by rtgs to my account.

                                Kindly help us in this regards.

                                  I was a consumer of hathway internet from august/september 2015 till april 2018. They kept on increasing the bill even as generally the data charges in india dropped and refused to entertain reduction of plan amount. Finally i got fed up and cancelled the connection in april 2018.

                                  They kept spannning me with a lot of calls and emails. Instead of refunding the advance amount of approx. Rs 1500 that i had given in august 2015, they said i have to first pay about rs 700 as pending amount for the last month and only after will they refund the money.

                                  Now in june not only have they not refunded the money, but also they have sent me an additional bill of rs 3600. It seems probably they gave the connection to somebody else under my name and sent me the ridiculous bill. Nowhere did i sign or ask them to give/restore connection. This company are greedy and criminal frauds. They are like a curse that will never go away like in the story of vikram and vetaal or sindbad the sailor and the old man of the sea.

                                  Action is requested against hathway to stop harrassing with such rdiculous bills and refund me the old paid amount.

                                  Hathway is again sending e-mails asking for payment after I wrote to them and also notified of the complaint. They don't even acknowledge that their fraud is exposed or there is a problem.
                                  Forgot to add that I had indeed paid the bill of approx Rs 700. Then instead of re-funding the advance amount, they sent me a very big bill.

                                  These people's fraud and shamelessness have no limits. They will not leave you alone and squeeze the last drop of blood possible if they are allowed. Better never to deal with this company ever again. Fair warning to all.

                                    I had taken 24 months broadband connection from gtpl. Since taken a service many times i had facing issue of net connect. As per gtpl company tat for issue resolution is 24 hours but they are not able to solve issue within a tat. Today is 05/06/18 and i am currently facing issue since 30/05/18 for net connectivity. Company executives are not co operate to me for fast solutions. Each and every time they are using one wards "sorry". This is not a my permanent solution. I want facility which i had paid money.

                                    Sir, your interfier will help my consumer protection and help for rights.

                                      Hathway team are blackmailing to put a 420 case on customers to pay dues. Though asked customer care team to resolve it, nothing response from them. I was not even in the city from past 3 years & they are imposing bill which they disconnected & taken the router back. Many people are facing the same issue.

                                      I was using the same broadband in different city from long time with same mail. If i had previous dues, why they excepted me. There customer care guys said"we know you didn't used, also router is taken back. Since you didn't terminate the account we will charged the bill for 2 years. He clearly said this is the issue with their sales team & he can't help". Currently i was using same account, if i delayed for 1 day also. They will disconnect immediately. How can they charge for 2 years & asking to pay after 3 years without intimation to me.
