Date - 22/march/2017 date of activation

Hathway sold their broadband service with 799 monthly and recharge of 1 year will give 6 months free from subsequent recharges. This recharge period i wanted to opt as per the offer - now hathway says the offer is withdrawn on aprl 2nd onwards

No prior intimation was provided to new connection holders who were sold their services with commitment that this offer will remain. This is breach of commitment. Would request hathway to take it as exception and provide one year recharge offer as committed.

    I m joel sandeep from hyderabad, i took hathway broadband in 2015 jan and i called the customer executive and asked them to cancel my net connection on 2016 when i got a text msg that i had to pay 3100 due for 6 months, after that in may 2017 i askd them to cancel my services by dropping an email but they never responded to my email, they only send texts msgs which i ignore because of too many spam texts from hathway, on april 16 2018 i got a text that i have to pay 8790.
    When i called them they transferred the call to the billing department and asked they were like this was your previous bill amount from[protected].
    But i never used their internet from past 2 years and i shifted to some other place now.
    They never respond to their emails and they never sent me invoice/bills through email or did contact me through email about the nonpayment of a bill
    In their terms and conditions, they clearly state that:

    "if the customer commits a breach of any one of the terms and or conditions of the contract including
    Non-payment or late payment of any invoices or if customers use of or action in connection with
    The use of the service inappropriate, in company's sole opinion, with the continued use of and/or
    Subscription of the service, the company may at any time, at company's sole discretion and
    Without prejudice to any other remedy available to it at law, either suspend customers access to
    And use of the service until such breach is remedied or terminate this contract and customers
    Access to and use of the service immediately"

    So they can and have the right to stop the net service within a month from the date i stopped using it but they never did that and are trying to loot me stating that they continued their service to me and they were pointing me out that you did not use it?
    How ridiculous is this? It's their duty to get back or talk to the customer through calls and emails about their nonusage but they never ever responded me through emails abt this.

    And the main thing i want to get to ur notice is when we need a connection we just have to dial them and they comeover but to cancel thier service they tell us to put an email and they did not mention this issue in thier policy, they just say for cusomer suport dial [protected] or email to [protected]@hathway.net

    I called them, 20 times in 2016 to cancel my service when the bill i got was 3100 but they said we will do it immediately again i got a text in 2017 to pay bill i texted an email stating them to cancel then they did suspend my ac and now they are asking to pay 8700 for which i never used the service,
    And two of the customer executives said you need not pay the bill but the executive from billing dept says you have to pay the bill t, hey dont have a clear platform to address an issue and they lack coordination among them

      From last 3 month following up with Customer care for refund but no response received. Only the register query & Closed as per their records..

      Even visited to local Hathway office. But say please call on customercare no.

        I have complained for the problem of frequent disconnection many a times but you people have pathetic service, you don't even bother to notify your customer before closing the complain... Your customer care executive just tell me to reboot the modem which i have done 100times till now.. But still facing the same problem.
        Plz tell me if you people can't solve my problem then i will get your services disconnected.

          I have been using internet since 2 years and many times raised speed related issued. Today i renewed my plan 3 mbps for 15 months and i unable to get that much of speed as mentioned in given plan. It's very bad service provided by gtpl and they don't resolve problems instants and within time. So try to solve customer's problems within time and also improve your customer care services like they don't say just technical team will check and solved. Make it instant solution that makes your good repo.

            We are following up since 22nd march and did not get positive response from your side
            You have send us the email on 3rd april (12 days ago) and mentioned that refund will be credited within 15 working days,

            Today, i called your customer care number and they said that no refund initiated against my request,
            Again we received one request mentioned like "cc billing has been generated with a service id 15042018w804002" again the same answer refund will be credited within 15th working days

            And the same thing was happened on earlier on 2nd april there is one more request generated from your customer care end request number is[protected]w605180

            Please confirm is hathway customer care only generated the request number for customer satisfaction no one was able to resolve the issue. And
            And let us know if my refund has already been initiated then why you guys providing different request number number again and again
            I think you were closed the ticket (Request) without any resolution,
            Can please let us know is customer care executive was not aware when billing process team has initiate refund

            Please refund my amount immediately.

              I have a hathway broadband account and i had made bulk annual payment for the service. I had to then shift my house and they didn't have feasibility in the new address (Very prominent location). I requested refund of my excess payment but they rejected my request.
              They also don't allow transfer of connection across cities. They have one of the worst set of policies.
              I have raised a complaint with trai now.

              Strongly recommend against hathway.

                Gtpl is providing very poor service. 5-6 times a week thier speed decreases and have very poor speed. I am having 10 mbps plan still my 3g works faster than this broadband. They have very poor maintenance service too. I can not even stream youtube with this 10mbps can you believe that? No stable connection sometimes good speed and most of time very poor. All my money gone vain.

                  I am using gtpl broadband connection. Taken the plan of 10mps 1200gb for 12 months, since nov 17, since than the connection is disconnect evwry now than in 15 days.. More on that i have never get 10mbps speed, i do register a complaint
                  And msg received within a week thay complaint is resolved, but actually it didn't. Now since 4 days i am asking them to resolve this issue forever and return the money for remaining period. I have sent an email for that too. But no one is replying for that. Instead of that they are saying issue will be resolved sortly... I don't understand what to do now. Please help me.

                      I have applied GTPL Braodband connection FOR ONE YEAR duration - 6MBPS for my residence in ADIPUR on 16/02/2018 and paid amount Rs 5000/- vide cheque with CAF. I was promised to provide connection in 3 working days ( same is required as per consumer charter of GTPL). After constant followup and delay one fine day i.e. on 27 Feb 2018, I was told by representative Mr Bharatbhai (GTPL Marketing Agent ) that company can provide connection and I will be refunded my deposit. Inspite of repeated reminders, followup, phone calls to Bharatbhai and GTPL Gandhidham Office, I was not refunded my amount of deposit.
                      I was left with no option but to Contact Appellate Authority of GTPL - Ahmedbad and sent an email on March 22, 2018 and received auto reply :
                      "First of all we really apologize for the inconvenience this matter may have caused. We understood your concern and be rest assured we shall provide you to best possible solution on priority.. We shall get back to you on this with confirm status and resolution."

                      after the said reply, I didnot received any other response and decided to send reminder email on April 3, 2018 as under:

                      "With reference to earlier email regarding Failure to Provide Broadband connection dated 24 march, 2018, It seems that no action is taken at your end so far. I had also contacted you on phone, where you have assured me of prompt action in few days. but nothing concrete has happened. It seems you are not interested in providing any answer to my grievance which has caused lot of stress and unrest to me.
                      Therefore I have no option left but to contact Consumer court for getting justice. "

                      To my surprise, I received the same auto - e mail reply .
                      I called the Appellate authority but his response was "We shall get back to you on this with confirm status and resolution."


                      I hope GTPL will refund the deposit amount with 8/- per day penalty (as per GTPL Rule).

                        I have applied hathway connection on 04/12/2017.

                        Suganya is the contact person talked with me to take the connection. While opening connection itself I said like I am gonna move to New appartment in Thalambur in one or two months. I said like hathway is not available in my new apartment and its difficult for me. She enquired with some one and said by Jan 20 connection will be up in DLF. Then I applied for connection.

                        Then on second day I got a call from Rajaram, that I have requested for connection for DLF. That time only process is initiated, so what suganya said is false news to get connection. Its bad strategy.

                        I was supporting Rajaram in talking with new appartment committee and arranged meeting between them, they talked and terms are not agreed I believe. From my New apartment they said like they cannot allow hathway since they are not agreeing the terms, so I can close the connection.

                        Now I dont have option I tried form my side whatever I can. I would like to cancel my connection. I have paid for one year thats a mistake what I did.(I shouldnt have trusted), when I asked suganya said like if I didnt get connection in new appartment I will get the money back in the mode of cheque or DD. (This is again fake news and they dont have any refund policy).

                        I am not sure how such a big company having long term plans without a refund policy. It is pure cheating. At least they should have intimated it while opening the connection. But they were hiding this information. Some action should be taken on this kind of cheating.

                          This is regarding the complaint ref. No.01042018m583347 which i logged with hathway on 1 apr 2018. I have paid my bill in advance and i still have 35+ days balance usage existing with hathway.

                          But unfortunately i had to move out to a new location (Which is just 1 km from my previous location). I requested for shifting my connection to a new address and the customer service guys fool me daily saying it will be done today.. Today and this keeps continuing. I have contacted the customer care more than 20 times in this 10 day and every time they give a irresponsible reply.. They are one of the worst internet service provide based on customer service.

                          I dont know if i will get my connection, i request a refund or resolve the issue today else i am dumping the service

                            Dear Hathway,

                            I live in Kolkata. I have recently subscribed to a Hathway HD connection but I'm unable to view the following channels - Disney Channel, Disney XD, Hungama Channel. I request you to please bring those channels onto the Digital Cable Platform.

                            I went through some cable & DTH forums and it appears that the same situation is across the states (Mumbai, Delhi, etc.) for the subscribers of Hathway Digital Cable TV connection.

                              I am seeking help from my local cable operator for the past 5 days, as i am getting a message on my tv screen saying"contact local operator, subscribe to channel 4". But all the time i call him, what i get to hear is that "it will be resolved today, i have sent an e-mail to the mumbai head office and nothing is in my hands." he keeps on asking on the for the same information again and again which is the nsd number of the box and the card which i already did whattsapp him. When i firmly ask for the issue to be fixed, he says contact the office, don't talk to me.. The worst service ever, you people are giving business to imcompetent people who do not any knowledge of what there are dealing with.

                                Hello, I was a customer of hathway internet, I switched to ACT fibernet because of the worst service provided by hathway. But after 2years on 24th March, 2018 a guy called Vijay from hathway called me and begged me literally to reconsider his offer to switch back to hathway. He said that I can pay the money 15days after the connection. He also offered me 5months internet of speed 50GB and FUP limit of 1000GB and said that its his full responsibility if I face any issue with the internet and asked to call on this number "[protected]".He lied to me that its his personal number. But after the installation the I was facing the same problems with the internet speed so I called Vijay on the above number. To my surprize I was informed that its not his personal number and hathway's customer service. They promised me a call back but I didn't hear from them. I called 10 to 15times but I got the same response. Hence I sent 10emails to terminate their services but I didn't get a reply from them. Now "LAZYPAY" people are torturing me to pay for the service which I didn't get. LAZYPAY people are sending me emails and calling me multiple times to pay. I didn't know that these hathway people are going to pay though LAZYPAY. I heard the name LAZYPAY for the first time in my life but those people are saying that I've paid hathway through LAZYPAY, this is a completely false. I was not given any information about "LAZYPAY" and they are torturing me daily.

                                    I have terminated our hathway broadband connection in novmeber, 17.
                                    My account no. Is [protected].

                                    I have surrendered the modem & router device on 08th january 2018.
                                    Even after repeated calls and visit to thane hathway center, no refund.

                                    I have been given some "persons" number who seat in main office in andheri and been told to visit andheri main office. This mobile no. Is not reachable or the person intentionally cuts the call. This is really a bad behavior with the consumer. I need my refund immediately.

                                    Hathway is really bad towards customer service. Fraud company.

                                        My name is divyansh srivastava and currently living in noida sector 31, c-block. I have been facing internet problem for last couple of weeks and due to my busy schedule i am unable to contact customer services to know the reason. Today i called twice between 9:35am to 9:45am to report this issue. First agent name was priyanka and second time my call connected with i guess shanaya. Both agents disconnected the call without hearing me out. Your customer care sucks big time as your internet services do. My account number is[protected] and i am on 50 mbps plan. You guys are giving my barely 2mbps. Now i am so done with your services so i am looking for different service providers. If any one read this in future please think twice before taking services from hathway. Their services are worst and customer care agents are unprofessional and do not care about customers issue. Please keep yourself in customer shoe and then do such things. : (
