Hi,

I am the new customer of hathway, staying in bangalore, electronic city, bearing account no:[protected].

I contacted the hathway agent, mr rakesh, through online. On 17th oct, 2017, i paid him 2475 for the new connection through his paytm number. He opened the new account and told the connection can be done in couple of days. After that, i did not hear anything from the installation guys. I tried calling the agent for the past three days to his number but it was not reachable. Finally, approached the hathway office in electronic city.

As the discussion with the team leader, mr praveen kumar, hathway does not encourage customers to pay the transactions through paytm. And also said the agent, rakesh, absconded from the company since 11th oct, 2017. The lead said the company is not responsible for my loss and not going to help me as i have no proof for the payment.

My concern is :
If the agent left by 11th, how he still had the rights to create the new account on 17th?

The lead was asking me the proof. So who created my account? (He said anyone can create hathway account, who "anyone" here?)

Why the customer care guys not taking any action even after i reported them 3 times?

Hathway has got the poor customer care service, irresponsible management which don't respond to mails or complaints. They only care about calling for new connections.

I want my money back.

    Hello grievance officer,

    This escalation is against hathway broadband services for their fraud sales offers and cheating in the means of providing false promises to renew their services and then they tried to escape by not receiving any single calls

    Please note that, there was an offer of (3+1) month subscription + 500 gb extra data in my account

    Now the sales executive aparna/ sulochona (Who called me from the number +[protected] started calling every day since 8th october and they tried to convince me to renew my plan by giving additional benefits.

    I did not accept that because i was already having another subscription for the same so i said that i will do it later.

    But everyday they started calling and lastly on wednesday (11th october, 2017), i told her that i can renew the plan if she can give any additional benefit here.

    And then based on that discussion, at 7:45pm (11th oct) she called again in my number and then she told that along with the offer she will also give 40 days free and if i am ready to take this, then she can immediately update the offer but i need to recharge by that day at the earliest, by talking with her manager. I asked for 50 days extra so she said i need to recharge first and then she can update me after talking with her manager.

    So, iwas expecting a callback thereafter, but when she did not call me back so then based on the previous conversation, i made the recharge.

    And now, when i made the recharge and hathway got the subscription money, then those executives stopped receiving any phone calls and they started denying the fact

    Before i made the recharge, hathway sales team used to call every day and now when i did the recharge, then not a single callback was arranged from hathway

    Really pathetic and truly frustrating incident being an existing customer of hathway for a long time now i want the committed extra days to be activated on my subscription asap.

    Hi everyone,

    Please avoid taking Hathway broadband by looking at the offers they are announcing. You wont get anything except wasting time in fighting with their in efficient customer care. It is one of the fraud service provide of the country I have seen. I paid for 3 months to get 1 additional month offer. But they have provided only 3 months. The complaints I made has been closed with out resolution. Refer image. Looking for filing at consumer court.

      My sincere request to all customers donot choose hathway. Its totally fake.
      Before paying money they have promissed that they will provide 520gb per month with 50 mbps speed but they gave 220 gb and i have not received 50 mbps from last 2 months even once also. We got a minimum of 15 mbps speed.
      I have been complaining from last 1 month they are resolving the issue. Finally they are blamming people with fake servers. Plz plz do not choose hathway

        On 3rd october 2017, i applied for a new connection and paid rs 3180 for a 6 months plan (Kukatpally y junction, hyderabad). But later the technician called and told that hathway can't provide connection as the builder of my apartment didn't give permission to hathway. I have been following up with the customer care about the refund but nothing seems to be working out. They have been saying that it will get refunded within 3 days everytime. I request a refund of the entire amount.

          I am a subscriber of hathway internet services in hyderabad. Since approx 25 days i have no cable connection and have made several complaints regarding the same.

          I have had service people come down, but they have abruptly closed the complaint without solving them.

          The messages i have received are
          ‘’your request for cc gpon l2 with a service request id[protected]w120689-1 has been resolved as per our records’’ dated 12th october.

          ‘’your request for fs coordinator with a service request id[protected]w252489-1 has been resolved as per our records’’ dated 21th october.

          I have called the customer care, multiple times and all i get is spending 20-25 minutes talking to them, but all in vain. I am a doctor by profession and i had to waste lot of my valuable time trying to resolve this issue. I have been put through a lot of agony.

          I have made a payment for three months, which is due to expire on october 29 and today on october 21, i have received this hilarious message.

          ‘’dear subscriber, account no [protected] you have 7 days left for your plan expiry date 29-oct-17. Renew your account / make extra usage top up online by using master / visa credit or debit card’’

          I would like to approach the customer forum for this act of hathway and this is a apt case of cheating/fraud.

          I request the forum to help me in this regard.

            More then worst service ever i have seen by any provider, even turtle can be faster then gtpl in service.

            Given amount of plan, 3 week before, still not even internet cable is install by gtpl.

            Executives not attending calls. And even if they receive then after listening disconnecting the call.

            It's almost 1 month, and we don't have internet connection.

              Not sure who is the right person who will resolve the issue.
              I was told my connection would be 40 mbps post a 6 months advanced payment. Accordingly i paid the amount. After 1 week speed got reduced to 10-12 mbps. Several calls to customer care had been made. Sometimes they took my request sometimes they did not. Some got closed without even the executive coming to my home. I got sms stating that my ticket was resolved. When questioned, a new ticket was opened. But speed remained the same 10 mbps.

              Recently on 17th 18th 19th 20th and 21st i have raised request everyday. While arguing with customer care i came to know only 19th and 21st request were taken. Out of which 19th request was closed from back end. Only god knows what fixes they had done, leaving my speed again 10mbps. On 21st when complaining about the same, samuel, the customer care executive could not give me any information but raised one more request.

              It is a daily pain for me to raise ticket everyday. Moreover i felt cheated with hathway and want to disconnect the connection.

                Recently got connection from hathway broadband, but found out worst connection ever for professional gaming, packet loss goes than 9 per sec, and d ping is higher than 75 on indian server where it suppose to lesser than 5, have made lots of complaints to company but i'd not got good response. Even ask for refund but no reply on that also. Please look into matter and give costumer justice for their money.

But with the due concern from them in return, that it would not be repeated, we tried considering them and took a wrong step again by taking broadband connection from them. They didnot sent any proper support engineer to guide us..

                  Bad connectivity and inspite of taking 40mbps, we are not getting proper speed... Our account no. Is [protected]...

                  We need refund and disconnection of our services... As its just 3-4days that too very slow connectivity...

                    I reached out to hathway customer care for raising a shifting request 10 days before my shifting paln date. They insisted me to raise a request just 1 day before shifting date and shifting would be done within 48-72 hours after that.

                    Following the same i have rasied a request 1 day before and now it is 10 days, no one even reached me regarding this matter. I reached to their customer care multiple time and asked for reason for delay, they said they will arrage a callback from responsible team. Till date i did not get any call from anyone regarding this.

                    Worst thing about their service is that they ended my call in middle when i asked them to escalate my call to higher officials.

                      Hello,
                      My name is vaibhav padia, hathway account no-[protected]. I surrendered the router on the next day of the expiration of plan. The person (Santosh) took the required router n adaptor n given a receipt with grn no. He didn't informed me that i have to call to customer care and needs to register a request for refund. When i called on 24oct2017, the request has been raised and from that day my 45days will be counted for refund, wjat about the past days (Almost a month) that are gone. I also have been told that backend team will communicate with me via call/sms/email, i didn't received anyone. It's the executive who didn't communicated me with proper procedure. On 12oct2017, i saw a refund request has been closed, when i called to customer care, i have been informed that it is still in process. After arguing with the executive she took the complaint[protected]w260752) and told me the money will be given to me in two days including diwali holidays. Today when i called again to customer care i have been informed that the refund is still under process, then why the status is showing me as a close on hathway application. Mr. William (Manager) was not ready to listen my query n not able to answer my questions, he was only saying the process is under process n sorry for miscommunication.
                      Please help me to get query solve.

                        Hi,

                        - i have raised a request for transfer of my internet connection on september 28.
                        - from then on i have been calling the customer service everyday for the status enquiry. Everyday they say give us 24 hours. This has happened more than 10 times.
                        - finally, i got fed up and raised a request for disconnection of my account [protected] and refund of my money along with the loss i have incurred.
                        - then finally i got a call from service agent for transfer on 15 october which is 17 days after i raised transfer request. This how hathway's # service is. Goddamn hathway.
                        - however, i am in no mood to take back hathway connection again and i don't even recommend this bloody service to anyone.
                        - and regarding mails, i have been sending mails like hell. Still no response.

                        Finally, i only demand disconnection and refund of my amount which i paid for 6 months and the amount i had to pay to the mobile operators for internet.

                          Im having hathway cable connection with mac number:24767d64f4f8. Im paying cable charges regularly but my cable operator (Praveen) making so much trouble that he dint recharge my connection n he took my setup box 4 days back (He said he will get it back after recharging). N not responding to my phone calls. Im not able to watch tv since 4days because of him. Pls take serious action on him. Otherwise i give police complaint on him n hathway also.                             I am vishal holding hathway broadband with the account number - [protected]
                            I have paid 3 months advance package bill on 06-sep-2017 and i placed a request for shifting after 1 month of service on[protected] as i was shifting to different location. When i raised service request no one responded back and when i called customer care they said they will respond within 48 hours but there is no response from last 2 weeks and the ticket is closed with response non feasible.
                            My brother has hathway broadband within 100 mts next to my present address, without even verifying the feasibility the customer care people are closing ticket and when i asked about my refund - call center folks told payment once made cant be returned back and we need to check with billing team in case there is any possibility of refund.
                            This is causing severe damage to my day to day business, i want the connection shifted immediately or else i need my refund immediately - in case hathway cant shift my connection or refund i want to take some legal action for recovering my losses.
                            We already have act fibernet in the same building, but as i have paid for quarterly plan i am asking for shifting.

                              We have renewed our subscription for 1000 gb for 3 months paid rs.1420. Soon after reaching 220 gb speed has been reduced abruptly though we have sufficient balance to be used for a month. We have made several complaints but of no use. The service of hathway is very very poor compared to other service providers. Now i have decided, as soon as the 3 month period completes i will withdraw my renewal. Now, my present problem is yet to be solved as i am asking since 3 days. How long it will take to solve my problem?

                                Since last 2 month my net is not working properly. I have lodged so many complained with gtpl, but i got no satisfactory result. Since last 20 days net not working at night (9 pm to 9 am), i lodged number of complaint daily with gtpl but the same issue could not be solved till today. I have paid full amount but not getting services. My userid is dinesh7.

                                After complaining at Consumercompaints.in for GTPL company at today morning, some fraudster name Rahul Kumar Mobile number [protected] call me to refund my money from GTPL company and ask me about Debit card number, otp for refund. Due to insufficient balance in my card he could not succeed in his work.
                                This is a serious concern of security for consumer complain department and for GTPL also..!!!

                                Please take this a seriously to reduce this type of fraud with general public.

                                  Hathway one of the worst isp i have ever used. Just been a month had 5 incident and have been regretting for paying 3 month advance rental for this bad service. Sla is 24 hrs i have a fiber cut and it's been more than 30 hrs but no resolution but the ticket is resolved in hathway portal... My internet is still down... Those of you who want to go with hathway beware don't you ever think about it... It's better not to have internet than opting for hathway

                                      My account no. Is 728937 against account name ramchandra balkrishna bhosale & due date for payment for this month is 13.10.2017.

                                      Yesterday on[protected] a pathetic & manner less employee narayan (Mob:-[protected]) of your hathway broadband came to my house asking for payment.

                                      My mom (Senior citizen) & my nephew (1 yr child) was alone at home & my mom told him that “the due date is[protected] & today is[protected]”

                                      & told him that the payment will be done before the due date as she was alone at the house.

                                      That rascal narayan (Employee of hathway broadband) forced my mother to make payment immediately by cheque or by cash.

                                      You can check my account records, there is no late payment or payment skip in my account, then how can you send a # like him to my house for the payment.

                                      That guy doesn’t have manners how to speak with senior citizens.

                                      I want you to take strict action against that person or a written as well as face to face apology from that person & make sure it won’t happen to any other customer in future
                                      Or else i have to take legal action against you.

                                        As shifted my home, i requested hathway team for installation in my new place. I requested them on 29th sept 2017 and got no response. I. Tried calling customer care every day and got got response that some agent will reach me in regarding this. It is a like 12 days and above on 5 th oct 2017 one of customer care agent suggested me to provide adress proof to their mail id so they suggested me to submit adhaar card along with new adress. Its been 5 days i submitted documents got no response. Today they informed that i need to submit present address proof even though i submitted it no response from them.. Now i am unable to call them either. Call is just dropping out or disconnecting after waiting in que.. Duch a worst and pathetic sevice they are providing. Not even a sinhle call i received. I paid 2500 rs and i am not able use the service. This is really frustrating. Definetly want to file a case against it.
