I live in beeramguda, hyderabad.
My cable tv is not working from past 7 days. I made a complaint to the local cable operator tirupati ([protected]) many times. He use to say that he will come in 2 minutes but he have not solved the issue. Today i asked him that i have called many times and whether he is going to fix the issue or not. He said there is a signal problem and working on it and said that he does not matter if i call100 times. My neighbours are getting cable properly. Please take action against him.

    Broadband service at my home is down for the past one week. I have made more than 10 calls to the customer support in the past 2 days and numerous emails have been sent.. But there is no response or rectification. The laidback style of the nodal officer is also discouraging.     Hi,

    My hathway account number is [protected]. I had raised a request for closure of my account (Ticket # 29092017w007551) on 29/9/2017. They closed the request without updating me.
    Then i called the customer care and had a new request[protected]w014714) raised on 30/9/2017. And i went to the hathway office in jeevan bhima nagar and handed over the modem and router (Grn # 30543).

    Since then i have been calling the customer care to know about the status of my request, every time i call them they keep saying that my number is not reachable or i did not pickup the call and that they would raise the ticket priority, blah blah but so far no one from hathway has called me.

    My connection remains active 9 days after i have returned my modem and router.

    On top of it, the customer care guys have raised new request every time i called them.

    Hathway customer service is pretty bad. When they need money, they are prompt in collecting but while returning they don't even respond.

      For two days i have been complaining about non working of my router to the local support of hathway and he is been promising to resolve the problem but he didn't.
      Now after two days when i called customer care i have been told that tomorrow is sunday and the problem will be taken care on monday.

      Now i want to cancel subscription and get refund as it's been only a week since i renewed.

      Since Friday I have been complaining the company for non working of my internet connection.
      But still its not been resolved, everyday i have been calling and complaining but their service is such a disaster that everytime they are giving commitments to resolve.
      I don't know how much i am gonna wait.
      Now i demand the extension of validity for all these days when the internet wasn't working.

      And companies like these should be imposed with heavy penalties for such delays in service and their careless attitude towards their customers.

      Request you to intervene in this matter.

          Even i am also facing the same issue, i have relocated to different location and i requested for relocating broadband to new location but i got update from hathway customer care by saying they are not servicing broadband connection in new location, so they have taken request for disconnection and i have already paid 6 months validity plan package, which they said they will be refunding amount in 7 working days after submitting modem and adaptors, even i have submitted modem long back still i didn't got any update from customer care regarding to refund

          Could you please help me?

          I am from Hyderabad.On August-27-2017 we request the hathway broadband for new connection.I already confirmed that our area is in service.And after payment the customer care is telling the service is their but till today(3/10/2017) no service or no response.

              1. Reference my complaint dated 28 sept 2017 relating to the about poor broadband service by m/s hathway.

              2. Consequent to your intervention, a representative of hathway had rung up twice yesterday (04 oct 2017; at about 09.20 pm and 09.30 pm). He wanted to know what was the problem and was informed that the download speed are very low (Between 6.66 - 7.59 mbps).

              3. He then wanted me to check the speed after connecting my laptop through a lan cable. My response was that:-

              - m/s hathway have advertised this as an ideal wifi connection and also given me a wifi router.
              - we intend using our phones and laptops through wifi. So, it is of no consequence whether i get 50 mbps through a lan cable.
              - as a technologist, i am well aware that there is attenuation - but should the signal drop so much that the speed reduces to around 6 mbps with the wifi router located just 3 - 6 feet away from my laptop?
              - if you see the picture below, you will see that on 29 sept and 02 oct, i had got speeds of between 39-49 mbps on the wifi with the same laptop. Also, on 04 oct, the speeds increased to around 16-19 mbps at night.

              4. Thus, very evidently, the problem is that m/s hathway had laid a cable in early 2016 with a limited certain capacity/bandwidth - but now, the same cable is being utilized for servicing a much larger number of customers.in other words, there are too many subscribers on the same line. Thus, when people are sleeping, the speed increases.

              5. Regrettably, the representative of m/s hathway, instead o[censored]nderstanding the issue and accepting that they would try to improve the service, was very argumentative and refused to accept that anything was wrong with their service. They seem to think that they can perhaps fool everyone with technical mumbo-jumbo.

              6. Unfortunately, i have paid up till march 2018 - but would like a refund so that i can shift to another service provider.

              1. Reference my above complaints.

              2. On 07 Oct, M/s Hathway had promised to send an engineer to "solve the problem". No one has come over - and at 05.10 PM, I got a call from M/s Hathway, Mumbai[protected] that they have closed the complaint.

              3. this is the way this company functions - they close complaints without really addressing them. There is not a word about refunding my subcription for the balance of the period up to March 2018.

              4. Up to you to decide which broadband connection to opt for.

              2. No movement whatsoever from M/s Hathway. They want to ignore and brazen it out.
              3. Latest results are below. Will tell you that they are using a low-capacity cable to service a very large number of customers - but do not want to invest in improving their service.

                My name is darshan mistri, i purchased hathway connect before one week and my connection is not working since last 48 hours. I raised complaint with them and already give time to come and resolve on phone by discussing with technical person. But he not came today as well for resolve issue and i called sales person many times and not picking call and not answering. Very poor service from hathway connectivity at hyderabad. I am suggesting please go for another connection but don't take hathway connection. Because i am feeling very bad due to no response from hathway technical/sales persons.

                  I am not getting your agent service properly. They are misbehaving us even with ladies. I talked to him that plz put the wire in the tv bcoz i was not able to do that so i told to him. He told us to call me otherwise i will not come. I called 8 times i have evidence. Do solve my problem asap please. If you want evidence i will give it you on your mail id. Improve your customer service.

                    I used hathway internet wifi modem for 1 year.
                    After that i am not using it.
                    I may use it in future.

                    But some person calling me, and asking to return modem as it is not in use.

                    I remember that, its was free and belongs to me, if i select 3 months plan. On that basis only i taken this connection.

                      I took a hathway connection on 1st oct 2017 (Actually my account was created on 28th sept 2017 a/c no [protected]), by giving the full subscription amount of rs 3008/-. I was promised a connection by 2nd oct 2017,
                      There is no response form the sales guy (I called him more than 50 times in 24 hrs) & he is not picking my call.

                      I feel i am cheated & would look for legal options.

                      I got a account id created & also has a receipt of my payment via email.

                      Second account id was created by the sales guy on 1st oct (A/c [protected])

                      Really upset with the hathway services & sales team

                        My name is Piyush Nayee (Customer ID: piyush_c202 in GTPL Hathway Internet). I have taken broadband connection from GTPL and from when i have received internet connection till date i did complaints and complaints.

                        First of all when i applied for internet connection and given cheque for annual subscription then company has deducted an amount prior to i get connection and for that i have spend 15 days with constant follow ups to get connection. Finally when i get connection then i could not get constant internet connection from GTPL and for that i did so many complaints to your support, nodel offices and also to appellate authority of GTPL. But no one is taking my complaint seriously as i am one of the customer from thousand of customer of GTPL.

                        One of the terrific service provided from GTPL is, once you do complaint to GTPL regarding un-available internet connection and after some time when you have it back GTPL system automatically detect that you are using internet so your complaint get resolved without taking customer feedback that it is actually resolved or not.

                        My actual issue is, all the time I ask to customer service provider is that please don't resolved my complaint by checking ping to my customer ID because i can have constant internet connection only for 2 to 3 hours in a day after that it is automatically get disconnected and again i need to do complaint to GTPL.

                        Hope GTPL guys checking my complaint over here and suggest me what to do for my complaint.

                            We are using the hathaway cable, since 2 years but the services which we are getting is pathetic, the service provider is fraud or i don't know. Since the begning when we took it the connection the used handset given to us, i asked for that also but been told me we have that only, after that, i have made the payment for every month eventhow they have made the outstanding for me, when i complaint in your head office then i came to know that hathaway connection is not registered on my name, this is puerly fraud case, now in most of the holy days your connection not working showing always technical fault. Now since morning i am chasing your operator but no one is responding. Even nodal officer phone is switch off.

                              I applied for hathway broadband connection 4 days ago because my existing connection was down and unreliable. They promptly sent a person to fill in the form and collect money (3 months advance). The guy promised that the connection would be installed immediate next day. However, no one showed up. I called the guy several times, only to hear that he will arrange for the installation that day. No one turned up.

                              Next day onwards, the guy stopped picking up the calls. I called the customer care, who promised to get it installed that day itself. No one turned up. Next day i called customer care again and escalated. Still waiting for their technician. Interestingly, another guy from my building already has a connection. So there is minimal work needed. Very unprofessional and untrustworthy.

                              I am facing the same issue. The Hathway guys hurried so much to get me to purchase the plan and now no one is showing up to change the modem. I am worried is it a fraud company. The guy has stopping picking calls and the other number is coming switched off. I called the customer care and he says corrodinate with them.. how to coordinate if they don't pick up the call ????? I was told the connection will be active in an hours time and it's been 3 days and I am getting nothing .. I want full refund of my money. Can't trust this fraud network anymore.

                                I am new customer of hathway broadband in noida. Got my internet activated today on 29th september 2017, 11:00 am.
                                But, in just 1 hour, i came to the point that i have been fooled once again by another broadband company.
                                The sales guy sold me 2000 gb plan with 50mbps speed. But the actual showing on the portal is 300gb with 4 mbps speed.
                                I have paid security and the 1st month price= 1635 rupees in cash, but portal is showing 2283 outstanding on me.
                                I have called customer care, they said it will take 4 hours to solve the issue.
                                Now, being a very new customer whose internet just activated, facing this issue and they will solve in 4 hours!
                                Do i am here to call the customer cares of the broadband companies and wait everytime!? I don't have any other work?
                                I have been fooled.
                                But, you better look for other company. But, not hathway for sure. Else you will get harassed too as i am facing now.

                                  1. I had taken a Hathway broadband (50 MBPS/50 GB per month) connection in June 2016 and have complained about the poor speed at least 35 times since then to Hathway. On most occasions, one gets speeds between 01 to 12 MBPS.

                                  2. This also ensures that am not able to consume much of the data purchased by me. In other words, am not getting value or service for my money.

                                  3. Their Customer Care has standard but useless responses, viz, "we are sorry for the inconvenience caused"; "we are resetting your modem"; "switch on/switch off your modem"; "an engineer will be sent to look at the problem" etc. The problem however has persisted.

                                  4. I have in the past approached their Nodal Officer as well as their Appellate Authority - who just don't even acknowledge the receipt of the complaint.

                                    Gtpl broadband has been disconnected since september 19, 2017
                                    I have talked to customer care many times and intimated to nodal officer as well but it has not been resolved even after 7 days.
                                    They always say that it will be resolved as soon as.
                                    Later i inquired for a new connection in same area and they said that they do not connection in that area.
                                    If they can't provide service then they should not have given connection.
                                    Hathway / Gujarat Telelink [GTPL] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                    Please provide Cable connection continue on Sunday. Today also disorder connection so arrange connection at Desad Gandevi. We hope kindly co-operate and helpful us. Please confirm that no availability of continuing connection at Desad

                                      Total money and time wasted because it is prepaid, this is the worst response i have ever seen, in addition to that poor customer care response, they are not connecting the call with senior officers. Poor service / response. Money waste and time waste
