1. I had taken a Hathway broadband (50 MBPS/50 GB per month) connection in June 2016 and have complained about the poor speed at least 35 times since then to Hathway. On most occasions, one gets speeds between 01 to 12 MBPS.

2. This also ensures that am not able to consume much of the data purchased by me. In other words, am not getting value or service for my money.

3. Their Customer Care has standard but useless responses, viz, "we are sorry for the inconvenience caused"; "we are resetting your modem"; "switch on/switch off your modem"; "an engineer will be sent to look at the problem" etc. The problem however has persisted.

4. I have in the past approached their Nodal Officer as well as their Appellate Authority - who just don't even acknowledge the receipt of the complaint.

    Gtpl broadband has been disconnected since september 19, 2017
    I have talked to customer care many times and intimated to nodal officer as well but it has not been resolved even after 7 days.
    They always say that it will be resolved as soon as.
    Later i inquired for a new connection in same area and they said that they do not connection in that area.
    If they can't provide service then they should not have given connection.
    Hathway / Gujarat Telelink [GTPL] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    Please provide Cable connection continue on Sunday. Today also disorder connection so arrange connection at Desad Gandevi. We hope kindly co-operate and helpful us. Please confirm that no availability of continuing connection at Desad

      Broadband is not working more than 10 days, however after filed a complaint there is no response since one week.

      Total money and time wasted because it is prepaid, this is the worst response i have ever seen, in addition to that poor customer care response, they are not connecting the call with senior officers. Poor service / response. Money waste and time waste

        It's more then 24hrs and nobody turned up to attend my above mentioned complaint. So you are requested to look into this matter seriously because your technical services is very unprofessional and i think i should switch over to some other company instead of availing your company services.

        From 3rd oct onwards i will discontinue all my 8 wi-fi connections from to hathway.

          One really needs patience to deal with your company. I have dealt with bsnl but i must say they score more on my sheet. Gtpl is the most pathetic one specially the customer care – these guys don’t invest in human resource is the reason for such wretched services. Their employees who sit in customer care are not qualified for the job, all they have is two or three particular reasons which they start jabbering once you call, without even understanding or listening to the customer. Further, they might be good for some set of people but my set of people i find it really not worth to invest in your company.

          In this competitive scenario i tries to achieve better market position, but the management has some different set of views. Turning off the customer doesn’t seem to a big issue with your company.

          Now coming to my problem, the net is not working in our area since september 12, 2017. On sep 14, i call and the manager closes old request and raises a new request. After continues follow ups and listening to same old lame excuses in bad english, the request is again closed on sep 20. Again i call and get a fresh request raise but on sep 21 the same is closed on the convenience of the company.in the entire 9 days i was telling the customer care to send the representative to my place and get the modem/router check, which they didn’t hear as the something major was wrong with the area connectivity after the rains and lightening.

          Till date the company has not bother to cater to one customer who has been calling religious to them daily. I am tired of calling and talking to those uneducated representative who have no aim is serving customer, all these college going kids want is their salary, even if their attitude penalises the image of the company.

            Even after taking more than 72 hour to form reply or do the necessary correction on verbal and online complaint.
            Without giving proper reply or resolve.
            Main officer in charge appointed shown on site remain aloof & never come to call or attend even mails!

            This prove that gtpl absolutely fake / feud set of customer care even upto appellate desk.

            Not a customer centric company rather bunch of acentric behavioural customer care executive!

            Still to understand how to make you people understand that

            Paid online payment for royal –das-3 active package of rs 300 receipt umber jmbk[protected] dated 16 june 2017 for paid period
            16 june 2017 to 15 july 2017.
            Than paid rs 3300/- (@ 300 pm for 11+1 month) wide cheque number 000076 hdfc bank on 26th june 2017. (Paid from my hdfc bank a/c)
            Now my a/c 631868 showing validity till 15 june 2018 only which need to be stand for period 16th july 2017 to 15th july 2017 instead.
            Update & confirm.

            Why the company should’t been fined & refund all money with due penalties, provision by court of law for the prevailing nonsense!

              Dear all,

              Hathaway broadband company haa jo. Complaint resolution mechanism put in place. The customer care and their supervisors are not accountable for resolution of issues. It's a week everyday am calling customer care and also put on fb on hathaway page, still they give false assurances of fixing the problem. Wifi has not been working nd still no resolution nor a call from hathway broadband team. Pls close this company from further sales and registrations.

                I am hathway customer and was on a quarterly plan from starting of my connection then i got a call from hathway customer executives about their half yearly plan and i thought of activating half yearly plan to my account. So i logged into my hathaway account online and choose half yearly plan and paid the amount it asked me to on 04th of june. At the payment i already had 1052 in my account so it asked me remaining amount of 3098 that is 2042 which transaction charges and all. I have paid this from my debit card through citrus, unfortunately it didn't go through so they gave me internet access after giving them pos ref number for the payment. From that day i was insisting them on the payment, plan i choose for and what i was shown in my account.
                After the billing issue was sorted out on 15th june i had -1052 as outstanding balance with 3 months of subscription. I have contacted customer care and expained the whole situation and raised multiple tickets for the same.
                I lost hope on customer representatives after speaking more than 10 times and for a whole month on 10th of july i sent an e-mail to nodal officer explaining the issue, after a weeks time i got a call from billing person and was told the issue will be cleared. This time they have extended my plan a month's time and made it 4 months instead of 6 months i have paid for, explaining this i have sent an e-mail on 30th of july to nodal officer again.
                This time team leader from billing department called me on 31st july and was trying to explain me the bill and said there was a technical error at that time and was shown excess in my account from december 2016 billing. I did not accept his explanation and asked him to give me halfyearly plan or are a refund for which i have left with as i did not want to go with such company who doesn't care a customer who request them for his billing after payment is cleared and had to speak with them for three months and multiple e-mail finally to hear that there was a issue from technical side.
                The person whom i spoke with told me write a written e-mail about this cancellation of account and refund of the amount, which i did on the same day to the nodal officer. From that i was waiting for a reply and got nothing from their side, so i sent a request on 31st of august for which i got a automated e-mail reply but nothing else.
                Hence i request you to do needful and help customers like me to justice.

                As expected, never got a call from Hathaway regarding this. Got some sales calls as the de-activated my services and want to get payments.
                When I raised my issue with them they would keep me on hold saying “I will speak to my senior executive about the issue “ and Call gets hung up. I spoke with three executives all did the same. I don’t know how this people are managing to get these many connections after worst services. I am fed up with these guys and I am filing a report in consumer court may be then they will know how to treat customers.

                Finally problem resolved after four months of calls and emails. Thought of filing a complaint against them and found that need to go through appellate before going further. This time I got a call from nodal officer and some explanation regarding the delay and their executives handling my issue. Not apologies, just explanation and with a high tone. Any ways issue is resolved.

                  Hi, i am a consumer of your hathway cable service at suchitra, hyderabad - 500014. I am keen to watch ndtv india (Hindi news channel) but as confirmed by your customer care that this channel is not available at hyderabad. I was even agree to pay separately in a-la carte option but they told that option also not available. I am unable to understand that why this discrimination for different region, when its available in other state why not in hyderabad? Is there any logical reason for the same? As consumer i have the right to see what i want. Kindly take necessary steps to make it available else have to reach telecom regulatory authority of india (Trai) for my issue.

                    I have already pay a check payment on 5th august 2017 for gtpl broadband connection but he withdrawal the money on 22th august and still i have not any connection of gtpl broadband. Regarding this i was calling many times at gtpl but there was no any positive response given by him and i am totally disappointed with this. Please find attached gtpl receipt copy and passbook scan copy for reference.

                    So due to too much time taken by gtpl, i want to cancel it and refund my money.

                      I was trying to reach hathway customer care from last thursday i. E[protected] but it is saying that maintenance is going on in my area and disconnecting the call (If you want check with option by selecting technical assistance).
                      And after one day i tried with different option which is irrelevant (Tried with new installation) and contacted the customer care and lodged the complaint then next day representative visited home and confirmed that adapter damaged and will be replaced with new one within 3-4 hours. After that i contacted customer care again and each time they are telling that they required 24 hours to resolve my issue. And again again i called them and monday they have told that today will be solved and again called up as nobody come to solve it so they promised me to solve it by 9 pm on[protected]. This time nobody visited my home and nor resolved it and they closed my ticket without solution and even without my notice again i called them and asked the reason to close the issue again they opened another ticket with the same problem without my notice. For all these i lost my reputation with my clients and damaged my work, lost time, and phone call charges.
                      The service will be expired by next three months as i have paid in advance.
                      So i want to get recovery of my three months pay which i already paid, call charges and amount for loss of my reputation from my clients.
                      I had a worst experience with hathway internet and customer care service.
                      I have attached the photo, has the ticket numbers which they closed and created new one without my notice.

                        I have called customer care many times but they are not giving the exact date when it will be working. My daily work totally stuck up due to this. When i call customer care every time they replies wait for 24 hours there are technical issues in your area. I have been listening this answer from last 1 week. The head supervisor sandip joshi committed me that your net would work on 18/09/2017 and he gave me 100% surety for this. Still net is not working. Today morning i called again in customer care and she replied me that please wait there are still some technical problem in your area. I asked her that when it will be resolved, she replied me that no idea just wait. Now how much time i should wait i do not know.

                        I am a software developer and my work depends on internet only. How can i work without it tell me.

                        I want refund for this 1 week because i do hard work and then i earn money and from that money i am paying to gtpl. So if it does not work for 1 day it means a lot to me.

                        Please provide me that refund and also please let me know the exact date when it will start.

                        Internet still not working. When I call to customer care they reply to wait without any estimated time. How can we develop our India with this type of service. Modiji always says about digital India but how can it be possible without internet. I kindly request you please fix my net issue as soon as possible. My daily work has already been affected by this. I can not be able to do my office work at home. Looking for your positive response.

                        Sandip Joshi the supervisor's attitude is like a owner of GTPL company. I also request please dismiss this person as well. I wanted to connect with him again but nobody is transferring my call to him.

                              I have a GTPL setup box. I paid 24 months rent in advance and now i have a problem of "NO SIGNAL FOUND" from last three months.

                              Sometimes its working fine but on the day time its always the single issue

                              I am in Porbandar and my cable operator is not give me the suitable solution. Even if cable operator is behaving very rude and use the abused word with me on phone

                              GTPL is very worst service in Porbandar.

                              Its working fine in Ahmedabad

                              Because Porbandar cable operator is shutdown the signal and save his money without giving service to customer

                              PLEASE do some action against GTPL Porbandar.

                                  Gtpl requires on time payment and customer service is horrible. They know one sentence to repeat "in 24 hours solution will be received". They closed my complaint without proper solution of the problem.. One whole week there was no connection. After that from 12th sept it is repeating again. They don't pay the dp societies and they create problem is accessing the dp. Why should the customer be at loss at these cases. Need half an hour to contact their customer care. Even if they pick they have one half duplex connection solution with them all the time.

                                  Highly irresponsible and annoying company.. Will never recommend this service provider to anyone. There is no wonder in airtel taking over the scenario.

                                    From last 3 months i am facing no connectivity issue frequently from gtpl broadband and complaining regarding to their costumer care. Every time they are assuring me to resolve my complaint once for ever and the next day the same issue is coming again and again.

                                    I am fade up with this issue. I have clients based on overseas. And my mainly working hours are from 11pm to 11 am. And frequently in this time or most probably from saturday evening the internet goes inactive.

                                    When i call customer care it is not a single time done that the call is picked by officer in a single try. I always have to try minimum of 4 to 5 times.

                                    Sometime it happens that they are switching off their call lines in night. This is very unprofessional behaviour of this company.

                                    I have paid advance charges for their service for a full year but still i am totally dissatisfied with kind of services which they are giving.

                                        There has been repeated problem with hathwa modem. Within 4 months 3 times the the modem got burnt, which lead to damage of my desktop twice which is of total damge of worth 50000 rs, when complained they say they have nothing to do with the damage of desktop, while other service providers like beam, airtel and all working fine and the users of hathway are only facing this issue.

                                        At all the instance niether the modem nor the desktop was on, but still due to poor quality of cables and modem used are leading to such issues.

                                        I have all the images of my burnt PC and a technician report stating that the reason for PC burnt is due to cheap quality wire and modem, which is transferring high current back. In case if it is a electricity board issue many other appliances should also be burnt, but that never happens because the problem is with hathway, On asking them and after several mails the only reply they give is they have nothing to do with the issue and it is electricity board issue.Looking forward for a resolution and compensation.

                                        Hoping Consumer forum to help me, Else the only way i have is Social network for justice.
