Hi,

I have planned to take your broadband connect and one of your sales executive approached me on 22/06/2017. He said that if i confirm about the connection by 23/06/2017 before 11am then installation will be done on the same day before 8 pm.

I have confirmed him around 9: 15 am and around 11am he came and took the amount. Receipt number is 9339.

In the evening i spoke to the sales executive and he confirmed before 8pm it will be done. Around 7:30pm when i called, he said outside they have put the cable and next 30 minute installation will be done. But no one came for cable and no one came for installation. Around 8pm he said by 9pm it will be done, at 9pm he said it will be done by 10pm and after 10pm no response from him.

Next day when called and asked about it, he started to talk in rude manner, started to abuse with wrong words. Finally i told him i dont want your service and cancel the connection process and refund my money. He was not responding in proper manner and his wording were not good.

I have called many times customer care but no one provided any resolution on this. I asked any senior to come on call but no one came. They said they will call back to me in 1 hour but till now i dint get any call from any one.

It is really painful experience with hathway. I feel i made mistake by trusting hathway.

I hope you will take some action on this and provide me solution. I dont need any connection from you, please refund my money back.

Dont harass me more.

    I have taken 50 mbps internet connection from Hathway. My Id is [protected] For the last SIX months I am getting 1 mbps speed . I have complained many times at the helpline and my coplaints nos are 26062017w670800, 24062017w649141-1 but no action has been taken to rectify the issue. Every 3 months i am paying 3500 rs for 50mbps speed but i am getting speed less than 1mbps. When I call the help desk they always answer that i have get call back from the technician but the call never comes and nor is the issue resolve. I am fed up with this useless service provider and want to take a legal action against them. how can a service provider charge u for a 50mbps speed and not give u that service ? Is it not a complete breach of contract by the service provider? Please advice what legal action can i take against them. I have also attached image of the speed test which clearly shows the low speed braod band speed.

      Two months back I called hathway executive (Mob: [protected]) regarding my hathway payment and also I told him that I am going to shift to a new location, he told me that we have services on my new location and after confirmation I recharged my hathway account for three months now when I called hathway for shifting my connection then they told me that we don’t have services at your new location and now they are not disconnecting my connection and not even refunding my money. I didn’t receive any response of either my mail my service request and my call request

        My hathway connection no. [protected] is down very very frequently. Requires calling up the call centre which gives a busy tone mostly. This time the connection is down for over 3 days. All customer care executives are busy for 3 days. The stupid app doesn't accept the complaint. And the feedback form on their website also doesn't work. I am totally fed up with this connection. No point in having a useless broadband connection which doesnt work most of the time.

          Since i have installed hathway broadband for the last 25 days i have received barely any internet and after complaining some 20times no technician visits or response to solve the issue.
          They go on migration with no internet for 5 days and no respect for the customer.
          And because of their poor customer service i requested them to close the connection they said we will not refund the money.

          Hathway is a complete illegal and fraud company.

            I have given a request to disconnect my account since last week & they told me a service person will come & pick up modem and remove cable wiring but to my surprise they are not even coming for that, i mean what shall i say they keep on calling to offer new plans but they dont provide the service & speed & always there is technical issue & i am fedup of that & now they are asking me to come in office & submit modem but what about removing the cable wiring they are not even responding for that.
            *must say that hathway has become worst ever internet provider*

              We are using hathway broadband from last one year and everytime we raise a compliant, we get an message after 3-4 hours that the issue has been resolved without any resolution.

              Now also we are facing same issue. We are facing intermittent issues with the broadband and raised a complaint. They have closed the complaint as resolved. Please help us.

                I have applied for my hathway internet connection transfer on 5th june in pune at my new address but it has not yet processed. Hathway is providing worst facility. My account number is [protected] registered in the name of prateek gupta. They are always telling that it will be done in next 24 hours and then nothing happened. I do not know how to deal further in this matter. Please help me out as they have already charged for 3 months subscription an amount of rs 2700.

                  March 17th i requested for new hathway broadband connection, on the time of payment i wished to opt monthly payment, but the sales person asked me to pay for 3 months so i will get a month free, ie if i pay for 3 months i will get service for 4 months.. So i agreed to pay for 3 months and paid by cheque, 18th i got the connection installed, even on that time i confirmed about the offer with that person, he called and asked someone he says area manager and confirmed that 3+1 offer is there for me, but on the hathway dashboard it was not shown, i asked them again and he said it is offer and it will be updated later and convinced me. Now after 3 months i was getting calls and messsages asking me to pay bill before june 17th, i lodged a complaint with hathway customer care on 12th june and explained the issue to a executive named vasuki, she promised me to resolve the issue within 72 working hours, but seems not cared about my complaint. 5 days later on 18th they deactivated my broadband connection, i am calling them often and asking about this but they are not cared about my queries, on 19th i called twice and on second call an executive named prabakaran attended the call and saying that 3 months back there was no such offers, and asking me to pay for another 3 months and i will get the offer this time, irony is i spoke with the same guy regarding this on 18th june, i am asking them for more than a week now they are asking me to pay for another 3 months to get the offer.. I think hathway customer care people see their customers as clowns and fools. They promised me the offer and now they are cheating me.. Bitter experience with hathway. I suggest people not to get engage with any of the hathway services..

                    As you would notice, i have made several requests regarding relocation (Refer above service ids) but every time my complaint has been resolved without any resolution.

                    First complaint was made on 7th june 2017.

                    On 18th june, your wiring executives visited my place and i asked them to suggest where should the router be placed so that i will cover my entire home. They mentioned that the router technician will visit later and advise. I told wiring executives to do the wiring after router technician advise and they agreed to it.

                    They made me speak to your area manager, mr. Rahul who was very rude and shouting on phone saying that hathway doesnt advise on the placement of the router. I asked him since router is provided by the company, ideally they should also be advising on it.

                    Mr. Rahul started shouting and told wiring executives to leave the place and after that nobody visited my place and your wiring is lying idle at my place. On subsequent requests to your customer care, the complaint has been resolved with false comments.

                    I request you to look into the matter asap and complaint regarding your area manager, mr. Rahul for his misbehavior.in case, you dont want to install the connection at my place, please refund my money (Have already done 6 months recharges) with all the damages incurred else i will have to take legal action.

                    Look forward to your immediate resolution. Thank you.

                      Due to less providers in my area, i have to go with hathway and its been 6months. The story goes the same way every month that your internet will work for 15-20days at max. But now this internet issue increasing as this month my plan started from 8th june and i recharged it. The internet is not working from 8-12th after complaints and there tat is 4hrs. Now on 19th june same thing happened and the best part is they only have the cx service who are good for nothing. Tried to contact to their appellate authorities and other seniors multiple time but the best thing is mail won't reach their inboxes and bounced back and call will never be answered. I really wanna know, one side we says digital india and at the same time these providers are not providing the services not the refund of my plan and security nor they will give you rebate for the wonderful service provided. Please see to it. I will share the account no. [protected].

                        Hathaway has no ethics and are cheats
                        I had taken a new connection on 15/6 and paid in full (Rs. 6208 for 6 months). Got my connection on 17/6 after struggling 2.5 hrs because the office team provided wrong information to the guy who came for installation and poor guy standing here calling so many people and after 2.5 hrs the same got resolved and i missed my important meeting due to this delay. And they don't even care to say a sorry for the mistake they did. The connection sucks and keeps going off. The line speed is 80 mbps and i have been getting speeds of less than 2 mbps also. This happens everyday and i had called up 5 times in one week for low speeds. Each time they say the problem will be rectified in 6 hours. The technical support is a scham and people cannot solve anything except restart your modem remotely and when ever i tried to call their so called 24 hr manned helpline no body is available. Some automated message you will receive and after that your call will get disconnected without any resolution. And when i send a mail to the customer care no reply for weeks.

                        I had asked for a cancellation and a full refund as i have been cheated.

                          No wiring, no connection
                          I use to complete and they used to close.
                          No single call, no answer-why my complain is close, fake promise's.
                          Never recommend any one for this # service.

                          From 29 of may i am fight for my money refund and they charge the police everyday. From 7 days -15days-30days and now its 45days.

                              Totally a great #. I don't even recommend their services. Please all customers move on to airtel or bsnl or jio broadband. I heard that hathaway is investing 500crores in chennai. I bursted into laugh... Becoz they don't even have a working data center that can provide broadband connections. Plan is 1000gb and promised speed is 150mbps. My friend trolled them. Yes. Its jus a fake plan. Your speed will be 10mbps and you won't even cross 100gb /month.
                              Jus before 20 days i got their connection... Now u requested to cut those and requested the amount back... I paid 2000rs and they will return 500rs.
                              I called their customer care, no replies.
                              Totally waste of worthy 20 mins in my life.
                              ... I am a great fan of cricket and can't even watch a match on hotstar... Internet sucks... Not internet... Hathway sucks... Please be away from their service... I called all their customer care numbers... Some times attended... They asked me to. Weight... After 6mins they will cut your call. I don't know why robots are sitting in their office.

                                I am the new user of hathway broadband,
                                My hathway account no. Is - [protected]
                                I face many problems regarding the connection and i am not at all happy with your services.
                                There is no systematic way to solve the problems. I am using your hathway from 2 months. Initially i have chosen your intex3 plan (15mbps upto 200gb and after 2mbps unlimited). As i have completed my 1 month i have renewed my plan but that change my plan from intex 3 to some 10mbps unlimited plan. I have talked your customer care but no change take place i have given the written request through your app on 18 may 17 at 05:45 am but till now you can check, the request is under process and due to which i am unable to give any more new request.

                                Again if i say about this month, i have called your customer care to change my current plan to my previous plan i. E intex3, as he said to do transaction of rs 862 and to call again after doing payment i have done as he said but this time they too have changed my plan to new super2. I have called several times but no action takes place till now. I really gets fed up and decided to discontinue your services.

                                  Sir,
                                  I took hathway connection on 14th june 2017 for 1 month at a cost of 1615.
                                  They installed the broadband on 15th june 2017 at 1pm. At the time of instllation i checked the speed at speedtest okhla it was 27 mbps. But after about 1 hour of installation it was less than.5 mbps. On calling the customer care i was told it is normal.
                                  I contacted the person of hathaway who registered me but he too consoled me that he will send the engineer but none came.
                                  They promised me with a speed of 50 mbps that is about 6 mbps per user unlimited.
                                  Now on the telephone they say the router is faulty that too they have installed on the first day.
                                  Moreover when the testing engineer when increased the bandwidth to test only at that time the speed goes up.
                                  But after that it constantly remains below 1 mbps. I mailed regarding this to them but no reply so far no valid solution is given back to me. I must say that hathaway is not reliable when they they say it is a fiber optic connection because their speed is less them my jio network sim which is much cheaper and portable.                                     My billing day is every month 10th. I paid 3months advance.

                                    On june-10 it will get expire. On june-7 got a call from custome care offering another plan for 6 month then i asked him about the payment.

                                    He said you can pay now but it will get effective from 10-june only, after getting the confirmation i paid the amount through online but the date it was reflcting as 7-jun only.

                                    From 7th june to till now i called and raised almost 5 complaints and sent many mails but no response.

                                    When ever customer plan is going to expire then they will call like any thing and disturb like anything.

                                    If the same customer is facing any issue then no one will respond.

                                    Govt. Should take some action on such companies.. If they are not ready to resolve the customer problems then they should shutdown their company.

                                      Since last 10 days, daily i raised complain regarding my internet services is not working and they told me that thier technician will come within 24hours but they never come to my home solve this issue and on next day morning they close my complain and sent me msg that ur query resolve...
                                      I can say that they never respond/attend customer problem properly...
                                      I have raised my 1st query on 4th june and still didn't get proper solutions from this internet service provider...😡😡😡
                                      So i request u to take some action regarding this type of service provider...

                                      Zindagi is the best channel and it is my main viewing one.why always so much ado about nothing, really? why zindagi channel is stopped in india?Its tampering with consumer rights!Pl give us back our zindagi channel...so sad you make us so much sad ...?
                                      I have bought hd set top box.But i has stop working in 10 days...After that i have give it to replacemnt and after 4 month it has not come

                                        I had take a hathway broadband connection in bangalore and paid the amount. There was a balance amount of rs 550/- by hathway which siddheswar had promised to return by next day. He had mentioned the same on hathway bill. But its been 4 months. I have not received my balance amount. When i call hathway customer care they dont respond and keep the issue pending. When i call siddheswar, he threatens and warns me. He is not returning my balance amount, i had given a police complaint as well. But siddheswar is such a criminal, he changed his job and now hathway says siddheswar has run away with my money, hathway is not responsible. Such a # siddheswar is, how such frauds make customers fool.
