Hi Team,

This is regarding the wrong plan update against my Hathway Broadband connection. I’ve requested for the plan change recently and billing team has suggested 3 plans Thunder1, Thunder2 & Thunder3.

On 2nd Dec 2016 billing team called me and did that plan change to Thunder1 which is 50 Mbps speed and 60 GB data, post-paid plan that costs me around approx. 1108.00/-(rupees per month). However, today(i.e. on 6th Dec 2016) customer care confirmed that I was in Thunder2 plan, Not sure how was that done.

Need help to get this issue fixed. I’ve the call got recorded on that day when the billing team reach-out to me on 2nd Dec 2016 and I hope it was done from the Hathway side as well.

    deactiviated before renewal complainted.

    renewal date should be as per rule[protected].

    customer is faulted not for updated by customer care complainted
    or bill department for renewed paid online by customer.

    from above what is result of report

    all mistake is done by hathway co. not by customer

    so what should customer do due for non faulty but have to suffer for services he /she is paid his/her hard earned penny to these service provider companies.

      Hi,

      I have tried recharging my digital tv account which failed multiple times in novemeber. I contacted hathway about failed payments and they said it would be refunded. I contacted them again after 20 days providing proof of credit card statement showing that payments were not refunded and they stopped responding. After multiple complaints they keep closing my complaint saying refund has been initiated but they stop responding after i provide them proof that the refund was not received. I have escalated to nodal officer who is also not responsive. I doubt if there is a nodal team available for digital tv division of hathway.

        Hi I have paid amount rs 1794 in advance on 3/12/2016 to hathway broadband for new connection. I requested a request in hathway broad band and his sales person visited at my place for quotation and as he suggested I have made payment and he committed to me that he will get install internet connection on 4th Dec 2016 but on 4th Dec when I called him his manager tejinder received the call and said that there are no feasibility to provide connection at your place. Now I am feeling cheated and due to this false communication I am in loss of 15000 rs. So please make a serious case against them get provide me compensation.

          You people can cut off the service on time but while setting up a new connection, you punctuality goes down the drain. God knows what [censored] time delays u do. We got our connection 10 days later than the day we paid our bill. And according to that our plan was suppose to go on till 5th December. Why was it cut off early ??? Isn't it ur concern to give the connection on time and take it on time ???
          I need my plan to be extended asap. Enough of the BS around.

            Its been a month that i still have not gotten my refund.I did online recharge a month ago and money got deducted from my account but my channel still didn't get recharge.I called customer care so many times. First they don't answer ur calls and then take so much time to resolve the issue.and everytime i call, some other person answers and i have to tell my problem over and over.I have wasted my money more in calling hathway.I was told by 3-4 customer care person that i will get refund in a month but didnt even get call or message from hathway. hope by complaining i will get my refund soon..thank you

              I am highly disappointed to express continuous unpleasant services which i am receiving through hathway cable providers.

              Summary of the incidence :
              -i have made a six months payment against my hathway cable services covering 22th oct'2016 till 22nd april'2017
              -there have been some changes in the pricing of the services post my payment and it started with respective vendors effective 1st nov'16
              -there were quite many channels which were disconnected without any intimation like 407 (Zee q), 408 (Disney junior), 140 (Star movies), 804 (Discovery turbo), 277 (Ndtv profit), 276 (Et now), 275 (Cnbc tv 18) etc
              -when we make advance payment then it is always confirmed to us that there will not be any change in mid-way benefits/increase/decrease in taxes, etc
              - when observed these missing channels then we made various calls to our vendor manager mr. Gajendra singh (Contact number: [protected]) but there was no answer to any of the calls
              - we reached out to the location at subhash nagar to meet in person and share the concern however there was no one to connect and the available person mention to call customer care. This is really unacceptable that no one is available in the center to address such issues
              - i called to the customer care to discuss the issue/concern in greater detail but the concerned person who attended the call was so much reluctant to understand the issue and was only sharing the limited information which he has considering it as a bible. Is it really the way to handle a customer who is having a concern which is not in sync with the information you have. Mr. Sumit is the executive who handle the call and he was not ready to share his complete name
              - i would like to understand why are you taking advance payments when you are unsure about the change which may or mayn’t happen in the middle of the year/month???
              - if you already have a policy/procedure of advance payment then how a removal of channels been done when i have already made the payment for those particular months/dates
              - customercare representative mr. Sumit mentioned that the package revision was supposed to be done in the september but got delayed and suddenly it happened in november. On the other hand, the vendors are saying we were never informed about this change or plan for future and suddenly it happened now and they end up receiving calls from various customers because of the panic situation
              - why will i pay for the channels and that too in advance which got disconnected all of sudden???
              - will i get refund of the amount which i have already paid but hathway is not giving me the service from last 30 days
              - box and card number details are : 26101899 & 46642625 / cheque # 565776 and cheque paid amount is 1710
              - on 12/22, received call from customer care asking for name of the channels and also they confirmed that these channels will get activate by evening with no extra cost. Again false statement and another cheating which caused severe harassment
              - on 12/26, another call came in that the vendor will be coming and give them the list of the channels to get it activated with no extra cost. No action happened even after waiting till 12/27
              -on 12/29, a call was received that we are closing this ticket with no action which was even more worse to know and we kept on saying how can you forcefully close the ticket without satisfying or giving solution to the customer. Here are the details of the message received “ your request for package with a service request id[protected]w040607-1 has been resolved as per our records. This is illegal and unethical to close the request without giving solution
              - kindly refund my entire amount which i have paid in advance because this is pure cheating with the customer on the charges you are taking for non-paid services and after raising the ticket, false statements continued with no solution.

              I would like to get my money back immediately.

                Took a hathaway broadband connection a year ago in noida. Got fed up of its unreliability in a month and stopped using it.

                Committed the same mistake a month ago. It's completely unreliable. A technician comes and wastes my time with no result. I think they have a basic server issue.

                Don't get stuck in the three month plan. They will never give a refund.

                  I'm a Hathway customer with Acc. No. [protected] & requested Hathway Call Center to either downgrade my existing Broadband plan or convert it to Postpaid plan from existing prepaid. Both the things were denied by the customer care claiming it as a Hathway policy. Any consumer should be allowed to choose plan from the available plans of his choice at any given point of time which Hathway is not allowing.

                    I have been facing connection issue from last 1 month.
                    called local and customer care they just keep saying restart your modem all time. for that i unplugged my wifi router. so direct connection will give maximum speed.
                    My plan says 2 mb for 10 gb data usage and after that 1 mbps unlimited.
                    and while i[censored] take a test online it says - 700- 800 kbps.. WHY??

                    called customer care.. he took my complain... after few hours i got a message.. my complain was take off as problem is solved.

                    But none customer care person helped / nor any thing change in my speed / nor my problem is solved.. this happened thrid time in last 2 month.

                    they receive call... they forward call to technical department.. they dont receive..and if receive they just say ur complain has been taken down.
                    No response after that.

                      It has been a more than a week facing connectivity issues and still not been resolved. I have called up number of times to rectify the issues but they ignore the fact that I have no connectivity and provide no solution just that it will be resolved in few hours and after that they close the issue.
                      Over and above that they do not extend the days for which service remained discontinued.
                      It has been pathetic services and fraud way of making money.

                        My address is b7/13 goyal intecity b block near sal hospital taltej (do not remember the id) 3 days my cable connection is disconnected for not paying charges in november . I have clearly instructed the person coming for payment to come on sundays or after 2pm any day to collect regular payment ... Even after calling the help line since last 2days no body has come to collect the payment and we are still without connection... Kindly somebody or urgent basis to collect the payment activate my connection today at the earliest. Also please not that inspite of my request my tel no [protected] is not registered in your sytem and i do not have log in id and pwd so that i cn pay online

                          This complaint is regarding the hathway broadband service.

                          We have made two payments in the month of june (7th june to be specific) both were failed. But the service provider confirmed that both the payment received. The recharge was for 3-3 months. Since we paid twice they were suppose to activate the service for 6 months. They have not initiated any refund from their side for the extra payment we have made and told us that they use if after 3 months for the next billing cycle. The amount was visible on the hathway portal for us.

                          But after 3 months, in the month of september they deactivated the internet service and asked us to repay for renewal. When we asked about the double payment we have made in the month of june, they said they already refund the money. We have shared the bank statements from both the bank accounts for the two months to confirm them that there was no refund initiated. We have been following up with them from past two months but there is no response. Its affecting my weekend works and also general online transactions as well.

                            Inspite of giving screenshot about the confirmation given by Hathaway employee name Sujata falaskar from sales team that I will be getting 3 months plus 15 days on renewal which I have done on her confirmation in August then also I am getting sms from Hathaway that my account will expired today.
                            It is a clear act of cheating and misconduct and I will be taking a legal action and will also complaint to national consumer complaint board online if I am not given15 days extra from today as promised by Hathaway.

                            I have received and sms from Hathaway that my account is expiring but I would like to inform you that when I have made online payment of Hathaway I was assured that I will get 15 days extra on renewal for which I h ave received an assurance mail from Hathaway employee Sujata falaskar for which I am here by arranging the screen shot of the same.

                            Kindly take this in to consideration and stop wrongful act by not taking proper details in to consideration.here below I have attached the screen shot of email given to me from Hathaway for 15 days extra.

                                Initially when i bought the connection i paid a deposit of Rs.1800 in that 800 was my first month rent and said that the remaining 1000 i'll get when i disconnect the service
                                i used the service for nearly 3 years now due to the poor strength / signal i'm no more interested in continuing the service i said the hathway people to deduct my current month rental / outstanding from my deposited amount of Rs 1000 but now every day i'm getting call from hathway to pay my bill...

                                  Worst connection i have ever had.. almost every next day i need to call customer care and register my complaint and surprise to me that the issue is resolved and i get message that the issue is resolved though its not actually resolved and no personal visit of technical person. dont give such service to customers GTPL. ad yeah their main slogan is technical person will visit your place within 24 hours but its never ever the scenario. disappointed from the services.

                                    My A\C no is [protected]. I disconnected my Hathway broadband about 3 months back and have submitted the modem and all other equipments but refund has not been made yet as promised. I have been having mail and telephone communications but seems like there is no intention of making an refund. Please give my money back otherwise you give me no choice but to file a case to the consumer court.

                                      Hello,
                                      I am being effected with Intermittent connectivity issues from past 15 days.
                                      I have raised my first complaint on[protected] stating there is problem in my Internet connectivity and the Modem is rebooting itself.
                                      The agent booked the complaint and later day with out any proper acknowledgement to the issue it has been closed.
                                      I have tried calling them several times on [protected] and the call barely connects to them.
                                      And I again booked a complaint on the same issue on[protected], later day the same message showed that the issue has been resolved as per our records.
                                      I am paying 750 per month to get the Internet for 30 days a Month.
                                      Not 25, not 26 not even 29 days.
                                      And more over when we call to Hathway we only get connected to the low level technical team which are of no help other than checking the account details of the customer.
                                      There has to be an escalation team where there are much knowledgeable persons who can resolve high priority issues immediately and acknowledge properly the customer needs.
                                      Lastly I am expecting my Internet to be up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 30 days a month.
                                      I also want them to pay for the days I lost Internet as a refund and the money it costed me to get in touch with them to let them know the issue.

They have taken monthly fees first and stop all the channels .I think they put that money in their bloody idiots I have complainted several times regarding regular channels if you want money go and begging in road, bloody service .. i want that all regular channels now otherwise I'll make abusive feedback ..Hathway

                                        On July 30 2016, i have recieved a promotional SMS, saying that " I[censored] recharge for 3 months, one month will be free" I paid around 3824 Rs, and till now the date has not got updated, and i have literally called more than 20 times them from august 1st week to extend the due date. Every time they take the complaint, and say that, they will get back to us. This is such an irritating thing, and they finally deactivated the connection from November. Even today if i call them and ask, they still continue to tell the same dialogue " we will resolve ur issue in 10 days". Infact this is not issue, this is actually FRAUD.
