I had paid 3800 on 19.1.17 for hathway. They have not put up setup till now. Neither they have given details of ac no. How shd i file a refund..my no. [protected]...should a file a consumer complain in consumer forum...plz help

    I paid my last bill as on 21st Oct, 2016 for 3+1 month.
    But I was receiving messages continuously from 19th Jan, 2017 to renew the account. I call to the customer care and informed that I am in the offer of 3+1 months it means I have to pay as on Feb 21st. From now on wards do not send this messages. They told to send an email to helpdesk. I did the same and also informed clearly that I do not want any disconnection at all
    As on on 20th Jan, 2017 I received a call confirming that "Yes we do have one more month extra and we do not have to pay now we can directly pay in month of Feb 2017.
    But from 21st night till now I am not able to access the internet. Everytime, every day I call to the customer care of Hathway broadband. I am just told that I will be access an internet with in 24 hours. But it is not happening. I am facing the same issue till now. I am really fed up with such a bad customer services. I also have a call records of the conversation which I have with the executive from Hathway broadband.

    This is really disappointing thing that there is such a very very very very bad customer services. Because of you incapability of giving good service I am in loss in my own work.

    And not even one executive are capable enough to solve the issue at all.

      On 15th december i paid the amount for shifting of connection for broadband and paid the charges amount. But it has been more than 40 days no customer care official or branch office person are answering. I have all mail communication with the company with same reply that we are looking into it.

      My 6 months advance money is with them. Neither are they refunding the same nor are they shifting the connection. I am in dilemma since i cannot get other conne tion till there is clarity about the same.

      Please guid how to proceed and take action against them.

        Humne cable operator se Hathway ka setup box lagwaya hua hai pr cable operator koi na koi channel gayab krta rehta hai aur kehta hai ki wahin se nhi aa raha paise bd gaye hai payment bda kr de do channel aa jayga. To aap pls ye btay ki kya Star plus wahin se nhi aa raha ye fir cable wala hame bewakoof bna raha hai?. Hum Hathway ka connection rakhna chahte hai pr cable wala hame isi tarah pareshaan krta raha to hme Hathway ka setup box htakr koi doosra option dhoondna padega.

        Apse request hai ki hamara Star Plus Channel jald se jald start krway.

        -download of any file is failed any time
        -videos is you tube/voot is very very slow
        I ami facing no Connecticut problem on regular basis . But your people looking after your service are not taking thé issue seriously hence i have forced tout face thé issue regularly.

          The worst service is giving by gtpl. Gtpl is not bother about customer's problem/complaint. I have registered complaint many times but just starting a net for a minute and issue resolved. What the hell?from next day faced same issue again registered complaint, net started for a minute, status issue resolved.are you making fool customer?every time your executive saying our technical person will visit but no one is coming and still issue is pending.
          Worst service. Do not go for gtpl for any kind of product whether its channel or net.

            I was took the connection 3 months back and it was expired. To renewal the account, I was tried couple of times to talk but [protected] Pune customer care number is not connecting and i didn't get any proper responses from your end.

              ;1983810. I am constantly calling call center but complain is not resolved. Every time one or another answer is given. I have also email to appellate authority of GTPL but the same is also silent. If GTPL is not able to resolve my internet connection problem then the advance paid to GTPL be returned back.

                My account number is [protected]. I have made payment on 13th Jan, and today is 17th Jan and till now my connection is not installed. The engineer calls me and says he will come but he never turns up, unnecessarily my time is getting wasted, everyday I am waiting for him in my home but he does not come. The numbers from they call me are landline numbers and incoming is barred, so I cannot even call them also to check the status. This is a very pathetic service.

                This is the kind of service in the beginning itself, I don't know how it is going to be once my connection is installed. Request everyone not to go for their service, you will regret.

As I took HD connection 1 year back and I paid for 1 year for HD and from 2 months I was paying monthly as 500 rupees then the service provider disconnected our HD connection and they told us to pay yearly or for 6 months. And the service provider was so rude, misbehaving, abused and he made us cry for HD connection. My area is lakkasandra. So please please take a serious action on them and activate my HD connection monthly and I'm waiting for ur reply. Thank you.

                      Due to the unavailability of the internet service facility to my new locality, i had to go for the termination of the service that i had acquired.i have asked the hathaway executive regarding the refund as i have hardly used the service for a month, they assured that the money will be refundable.
                      The same day, the other executive said that its not.
                      It had been more than a week and all i am getting is a call from the hathaway people regarding the submission of the router which they had given.
                      once i will ask regarding the refundable amount, they will just simply put this on their billing team and cut the call.
                      Next day same will be continued.
                      There is no such thing called TRUST between hathaway and their customer i must say.

                        The team had collected all documents on Saturday (Jan 7) but not installed yet.

                        Without visiting site, the team informed to me that we do not cover your area.

                        Fact: My neighbour is using Hathway broadband. Even, MY PC detects wi-fi signal of Hathway broadband.

                        This information is provided by the Hathway team member who collected my application form.

                          I have paid GTPL Rs 8999/- on 29-June-16 to provide unlimited broadband service at my following location.
                          However, their service remains down most of time.
                          We have to make rigorous follow up with their customer care, several times for several days to restore the service.

                          Their customer care employee never gets correct information and gives standard reply, "Engineers are working and service will be restored on urgent basis".

                          They should return my money back, in case they are unable to provide the broad band service.
                          Their technician, their senior management staff and nodal officer remains unreachable over mobile.
                          To whom should I complaint?

                            I have paid GTPL to provide broad band service for 18 months. But their network remains out of service, most of time.
                            Their nodal officer never responds. Their service is totally stopped since 31-Dec-16.
                            I have called them 48 times and have sent 18 mails. But they never bother to solve the problem.
                            As GTPL is unable to provide service, they should return my amount back.
                            Kindly help me.

                              Hello,
                              The broadband has stopped working on 12th December, 2016 and it is still not fixed. I have made few complaints, every time i had been told to be attended in 24 hours. Nothing has happened. Absolutely poor service. No Business Ethics at all. Once you have paid money, as a customer, i am helpless. Right above my flat, the connection is up and running without any interruptions and i was told that all the connection in my area are affected due to some technical fault. It is nearly four weeks since the internet is not working and my business is entirely depends on internet. Can any one help me in this to resolve the issue?

                              To all other readers of this message:

                              STONGLY RECOMMENDED NOT TO BUY GTPL BROADBAND AT ANY COST. Customer service is pathetic, no manners at all. Email services is also stupid. They are investigating my complaint since last two weeks as i have asked for refund, no concrete reply. I HAVE BEEN LOOTED.

                                Every Time Our Setup box Subscription Charges 290 is Collect by your Company 's Collection boy Mr. Mehul in our Area. But Last 3 to 4 month he was very irresponsible for his Work. He is doing delay in payment Submission to GTPL . Else he was Collect money on 1st Date of Every month but not pay at GTPL. So we are Facing Problem of Subscription Activitation.
                                I inform GTPL Office (Paldi) incharge many times but there are no response on your end. every time they misbehave with us.
                                Also Your Customer Care Executive are no responsed on this issue.
                                last two Days We are Trying to Contact Mr. Mehul But He Doesn't pick our call
                                also inform that from 04.01.2017 on 10AM Our Subscription is over so we can't See any channel.

                                  There have been multiple instances I lost connectivity and could not work from home due to the pathetic service provided by Hathway.

                                  They assured 2 hours repair service as compared to Act Fiber net and a free modem and wifi too. That I switched to Hathway.

                                  I am unable to disconnect or cancel their service. Their customer service is pathetic. All my requests for cancellation of the account go in vain. They raise the request and just close it without any action. Some legal action needs to be taken against them where they do not give the consumer the right to terminate the connection.

                                  I have paid them 3 months of advance fee. Now I am stuck. Unable to know what to do. They don't even have a physical office where I can go and talk to someone.

                                  Their call center service is the worst.

                                    I have a total three tv at my home.i had connection of gtpl.i leave in bharuch town.my gtpl operator has charge full payment for total three tv.
                                    as par my knowledge and inquiries in Surat city and in my home town Bharuch in city aria your gtpl operators are charged full charges for primary connection than half charges against second connection.
                                    As i am also a customer of gtpl.why your gtpl operators are charge TWO tipes of rules in payment patterns in same system ?

                                      Dear sir, Since last so many days cable TV is not working properly and it is getting closed frequently. Again since yesterday cable TV is not working. Today so many times we tried to lodge a complaint by dialling all the land line & mobile numbers buy no body is picking up the phone. They are also treating us whenever we request for refund for non working of cable TV.
                                      Pl help us and take serious action against GTPL, GUJARAT.

                                        I discontinued hathway internet service 6 months ago and accordingly i am eligible to a refund of the deposit for the modem/router installed at my place. But instead of the refund process being initiated i get daily calls to continue the service. This has affected my mental peace to an extent as it is a daily thing after i have asked multiple times not to call or remove the number from database, but still receive regular calls. Hoping this complaint will help.
