This cable TV service is useless... First of all they fought for not giving Goa channels to The satellite DTH provider and now as we compulsorily have to take only cable connection they are providing worst service... Wait no service at all... So poor condition.. According to me if they don't want to assist us then close it... First of all they take more than 6 months to install a cable with the service man called Riz... shows his face only when its time to take money... Once launched a complaint and you wont believe that the service man R... is so fast that he came immediately after 27 days... Wait not to resolve complaint but to take money, so fast na, he maybe a great sprinter... And complaint? not solved at all and the cable still blacks out in middle when watching some important shows... Here on TV its being shown about taking HD and this Sonali Cable people giving SD TV.. It is better to either shut this cable service or make them give better service (Its better not to b greedy so saying at least service) or those Goa channels to satellite DTH...

      We have taken a prepaid broadband connection from gtpl (Gspl). We are very unhappy with after sale services. Gtpl has taken connection charges for one year in advance and every since, there has been constant disruption in providing internet services. Once money is taken in advance, you are no longer treated as a customer. Poor and pathetic services! Never ever take prepaid connection (Personal piece of advice)!

      Too often, internet gets disconnected. We have raised several complaints regarding the same, but no solution has been provided yet. We have sent several emails to nodal officer and have also escalated the complaint to appellate, but yet, no solution has been provided.

      Several times, their system closes the complaint automatically without sending any technician and then we have to raise the same complaint again.

        I have applied for hathway internet connection on 1st august 2016 and made a payment for three months subscription to mr. Ajay jaiswal (Sales executive of hathway in indore). He confirmed that the connection will be installed on 2nd august but the connection was not provided. When i called ajay jaiswal about this issue, he didn't received my call, not replying me back when i sent him messages. So, i called customer care of hathway on 3rd august and they confirmed that the connection will be installed in maximum 7 days. Today its 9th august but the connection is still not provided. I called the customer care again but they said that the connection will take 10 more days.

        Sales executive should have informed me before collecting the check from me that the connection will take more than 20 days. Today i called ajay jaiswal again from another number. He picked up the phone and said that he will call me back in 5 minutes and update the status but i didn't received any call from him. After waiting for 30 minutes, when i called him again then his phone was switched off.

        It looks like customer care executives at hathway are trained to fool their customers. Everyone says different things.
        Regarding my account number, I have provided it multiple times but no response from hathway team. I have raised request for refund 3 times. The request was accepted 3rd time. Now they are saying it will take 30 days for connection termination. I am still unable to understand that when the connection is not provided then why it is taking 30 days to terminate the connection. And not only this I will get the refund via cheque which I have to collect from their office. Why it can't be delivered at my mentioned address? Or why it cannot be transferred into my account? Really worst service.

        I have raised the refund request 2 times within last 12 days. Now when I called the Customer support for knowing the status of the same, they are saying that there is no such request accepted by hathway team.

        we apologize for the inconvenience. Please inbox us your Hathway account number and location. An executive will get in touch with you soon.
        Hathway please don't give your fake promises to the customer if you don't fulfill it.I too have taken the connection and same promises are made with me.If we all will start giving the bad review then you know that how long you will sustain in the market.So please don't fool us.

          I have had hathway disconnect my connections atleast 5-6 times or more and lose internet for atleast 2 days every month - in spite of doing payment before the month ends.

          They charge me for 30 days, but end up duping me of full connectivitiy almost always. But this time - thats july 2016 endi have lost all patience and have to tell about my frustration.

          The 'new' systems dont show the money i paid.

          I have sent them data (Citibank confirmation) and also hathway transaction id - (R[protected] via complaint numbers 02082016w02658 (2aug), 02082016w42176 (4aug) and screenshot proofs via email (Email ticket no. 27078, email ticket no. 26977 and email ticket no. 26664) but they close my tickets without resolving them.

          I have also sent an email now asking for refund and deactivation, as i cannot bear speaking to those incompetent cust-service representatives, who don't know even how to talk - forget resolving issues!

          I also sent my citibank screenshot of the payment made - over the transaction id - which in most cases suffices.

          Past 10 days i dont have internet (This time alone), but they charge me prepaid for 30days - this is plain cheating!!

          I have now requested them to disconnect as i am losing valuable time that i could have worked at home - due to which i have to spend longer times at offices - of course for my office work. I need them to atleast refund my paid money and also the initial payment that i did while subscribing (Router).

          There has been no responses at all for past 5 days now.

          P. S: i have spoken to anna, nethra on custcare who have done nothing until yet - and above all there was a service rep, guruprasad (On 3rd aug 2016) who spoke so bad that, that is when i felt i am dealing with incompetent people.

          Today - the 9th august we spoke to anandraj, who, just like the others, promised to resolve the issue and im waiting for resolution - which will be a refund of any amount that got lapsed this time which is for 10 days even after i paid

          (Im not counting the previous umpteen times hathway has cancelled my connection for atleast 2 days every month due to faulty system update of my payment details)

            I have made a payment for hathway on 21/07/2016 of rupees 3151/- for the account no [protected]. Every week i have been calling customer care and they promise to activate my account within 4 hrs and it never happened. Also when i ask them to transfer the call to higher authority. Call is on hold forever and never connects. I have tried contacting them over an email, but i did not get single reply till now.

            I have even asked them to refund my money back. They never do it.

            Whenever i call customer care. Its like speaking to some recorded audio. They say the same thing which is by hearted. They are never really concerned of our issue.

            Please take necessary action against it. And either kindly help to get my money back or activate my account.

            Its been one week that Epic channel is not coming on our Hathway cable connection in Chembur area. The digital cable operator has increased monthly rentals to add channel epic and now its not being shown to the customers. When we call the customer care number they just assure that it will be back in two days.

              No call back after promise
              Such a horrible experience I have got from hathway. It's been 1 month I am almost daily basis calling them to rectify my issue, I m just getting false promises, worst part can't even send a mail to nodal officer all wring email id is been provided, gets bounced back, such a bad customer relationship management they are following. I am really looking to change my service provider, they just know to loot pepl even after I told to deactivate my service, they still kept is on and kept on generating bills. All uneducated fellows they have hired in call centers who can't even understand English or hindi, and talk only rubbish. We should really find a way to stop there services and ban them for there nonsense behavior. I am planning to file a case in consumer forum now.

                  My hathway internet connection is down most of the time. I am logging support tickets again and again and they are not taking any action. They simply close the tickets without doing anything. I have complained about this more than 5 - 6 times last month but no luck. Having a very bad experience with hathway. If it is taking time to fix the issue, then at least give me any estimated timeline.

                    I have been requesting to open the desired ports after I purchased the static IP from the company. They took 1 month after I paid them advance rental for the year and now it is more than 1 month since I had been requesting to open the ports. Also since last 5 days I have been complaining for drop connectivity and I have been assured every time for a resolution in 24 Hrs which is still in process as informed by the help desk ( I guess its a more of Harassing Desk).
                    Finally I have decided to approach the consumer grievances cell by tomorrow if my complaints remain unanswered.

                      I am from borivali and all over the borivali hathway have really poor service, not stable at all in case of connectivity and speed, 1 mbps speeds drops below 600 kbps on speed test, after every two days network is down, i get confused that i am using hathway or mtnl? Hathway have technical problems but it's not my lookout, as hathway don't offer any concession if there net is down for several days they do take charges for all days, totally useless service!

                        The broadband speed is very slow from the past week . Less than what they promised. They promise us 50 Mbps internet speed . but I can't even load this website using the broadband . Haven't contacted their customer care, doubt whether they will solve it. I hope this complaint is resolved.

                            WE got a hathway broad band connection on 21 july 2016
                            We were promised 50 gb of data at 50Mbps for 1 month for a sum of Rs 1380 plus Rs 300 for one time installation charge total of Rs 1680.
                            we received only half of the promised data that is just 25gb that too was finished in 10 days.
                            now they say everything is as promised and are not listening to any complaint, even after i have been trying for a week.

                              I have submitted my charges, but still my connection is not active, because cable operator cut my cable. In previous month I used only 17 days my set up box. But I paid full charge. Continuously my set up box shows technical problem. What is this? I don't have so much time for Sycophantically moving around them what they people want from us, who cut my cable connection without any reason. This problem is comes to me regularly.

                                  Your customer care service is worst

                                  I wish english had much better word then worst, so that i could tell that word to you.

                                  If you don’t know let me tell you what it make me so much hate about it :

                                  1. When we call customer care no. It says "network busy".

                                  You guys are running this big company can't you afford good technical equipments.
                                  I'm an it guy so i can understand all your these weak points very well

                                  2. Any how if i am able to connect call there and i am in queue, mark my words "after 2 or 2:30 minutes call will auto disconnect"

                                  I mean what the heck it is... Is this the way you treat your customers???
                                  Which antient technology you guys are using that it happens.

                                  3. Reason whay we need to call customer care is internet connectivity issue.

                                  Its not even a month we bought your net plan and every 4th or 5th day we are facing net issue.

                                  Really guys i'm saying this from bottom of my heart that instead of giving this worst service and kind of cheating your customers you guys must shut it down. Trust me no single person will regret it instead they will be happy

                                    I am facing internet connection problem from last 1 week.
                                    I have been calling your helpline and no one helps in this regard, neither people are competent enough to solve problem, they have just one answer we have raised ticket and someone will help in morning.

                                    Unfortunately no one helps, I account is 1033171.
                                    This is my last try expecting something could be done.

                                    The only option left is consumer court for next steps.
                                    I had a ticket open 22 JULY, 31st JULY and now another today 3rd AUG.

                                    I have been informed that this is the escalation group, I have been using Hathway since 2 years and there have been deteriorating experience with your internet.

                                    On top of that, when I asked call support to help me, he hung the phone in middle, this worst experience I can expect from a provider.

                                      A while back I moved from Nextra to Hathway on the enticing bit that it was offering more speed. The plan been taken was 50Mbps, where was the last entire month and a half I have never received the given speed.

                                      Worse to that nowadays the speed in the evening drops to a few 100 Kbps. The resolution team today morning post my call adjusted the speed back from there backend from 5Mbps to 39Mbps in the morning, but now it is back to 220 Kbps.

                                      When Hathway cant maintain service levels atleast with some decency, why are they even allowed to run operations on Broadband.

                                        I have made online transaction to renew service, the new plan is 40 MBPS with 100 GB data for a quarter; however transaction amount is not reflecting in my account neither my plan was upgraded, I do not see any refund is happneing in my account. I am raising this concerns as my friend also suffered same issue where he has made a payment twice and after 3 months past he is still not getting his refund back. I am affraid to happening this with me as well.

                                        There is some issue seems with there payment gateway. Ideally rejected transaction should come back within a day as refund; however it is not happening with Citrus hathway payment gateway.
