    I stay at mira-road east, and had a connection hathaway cable at my home.
    I am not able to see marathi channels on my tv, like zee marathi, abp maaza etc.
    However, even after so many calls and complaint to my cable service provider he is not giving any attention to resolve this issue and tells us not to watch marathi channels.
    I pay monthly is rs.300 for hathaway cable, but not able watch marathi channels.
    I request you to please look in this matter.

      I Have been complaining my hathway service provider from past 1 month regarding the broken cable because of which i am not able to enjoy distortion less cable. Condition now is signal is distorted, experienceing week signal strength becau of the broken wire and bad weather. He keeps on saying he will change the wire but none of the concerned actions has been taken yet.i want my problem to be fixed as soon as possible.

        100 gb internet is exhausting within 5 days!!!
        They have been cheating us for the last 6 months as we take quarterly plans
        And are not willing to even share the consumption report
        The customer care support also isn't helping us resolve this
        Someone could be using the line for illegal activities
        They haven't even sent someone to check the issue
        Time and again they say that we've consumed the pack however how can one use 100 gb within 5 days

          Frequently gets disconnected and shows signal not found. Once the power is off and on it starts showing "initializing" and it will continue for hours together. These both irritate us and we are unable to watch the tv continuously. Please look into the matter and rectify to enable us to watch the tv without any disturbance.

            From last three days i am continuously suffering from bad connectivity.In fact, 3-4 times in a week i have to call those people regarding this issue and in return i get their mild and fake responses which don't work at all. Even i requested to send a technician and get this sorted out but they remain idle, did nothing and put all the blame on main server faultiness.
            At least here i want you to take some promising step.

              I have been using hathway for over 3 years, 1st year was in basheer bagh it was good there every time i get problem they user to come immediately and solve the problem with in a day. Since i moved to bhel mig colony hyderabad, service has been worst, whenever we get problem and call support staff, they never bother to verify, couple months ago there was disturbance i literally called like 10 times and after bugging them they came and solved the issue. This month we are facing regular disconnections for the past 3 days and today we dont even have the service, we started calling since 10 am and every hour since then untill 5:30 pm, they keep on saying we are coming. I need an immediate resolution and make sure this never happens in future and also want one month service free for the inconvenience caused or else i will never recommend this service to any one and also thinking to suspend my connection from hathway. They take money and never give good service.

                Local customer service is never of the help and whenever i call them it's busy 99% of the time. Also, they never call back if the problem is resolved, and automatically close the complaint/issue when they think it's ok without a intimation. There's always speed problems; i have dual speed plan of 512kbps-2mbps, and i always have to restart the connection to change the speed.
                Also there is a toll free number but its also busy or not available. And the customer service lacks adequate knowledge.

                I did a complaint regarding the speed problem, and they asked me if it is resolved. I said partially, and they marked my complaint as resolved. My complaint numbers are 1459889 & 1459834 (resolved). I was supposed to get 2 mbps at night but max speed I get is 1.64 mbps.
                Pls note below details of my complaint with GTPL. I have also complained with TRAI & DOT for the worst service.

                I have applied for home GTPL, Ahmedabad broadband internet connection on 6th July, 2016 and was informed that the connection will be provided in next 6-7 days. I have also deposited cash of Rs. 3060 (rs. 2560 for broadband plan of 60 GB for 6 months and Rs. 500 connection charges) to Mr. Kamesh Darji and Mr. Keyur on 6th July, 2016. Receipt no. 289031 is enclosed herewith for reference.

                I waited till 15th July, 2016 and thereafter started calling representatives who collected the amount. But they never bothered to pick-up the call and inform customer about the delay in the installation. After 3-4 days constant calls, i would get in touch with Mr. Kamesh on 19th July, 2016. As informed by him, i was promised that the connection will be provided within a day or two. I even lodged online compliant on GTPL portal on 19th July, 2016. Since the connection was not provided in few days, i again started calling the Customer care and representatives who collected the amount. As usual, the representatives did not bothered to pick up and inform the customer and, Customer Centre after repeated calls on one occasion took the receipt no. and other details and informed that the representative will contact you at the earliest.

                Again after waiting for few more days, I called the Nodal officer no. [protected] on 26th July, 2016 and briefed him the entire story since 6th July, 2016 and informed him to return back Rs. 3060 if the connection is not provided by today evening. Even he assured that the amount will be refunded. However, till date neither connection is provided nor my money is refunded. GTPL being in service industry is expected to resolve grievances of customers and atleast make a courtesy call after a compliant is lodge with customer care and nodal officer. Till date i have not received any call/ updates from GTPL. It was only the harassed customer who was making calls and follow-up as he has deposited advance and had no option.

                I also wish to put on record that on several occasion i tried to call the Appellate Authority, GTPL Gujarat and was shocked to know that the number is out of service. I am taking this matter with the Department of Telecom/ TRIA as this is clear breach of applicable code of conduct on the part of Internet Service Provider.

                I am also writing this letter to the Regulator bringing to their notice the deficiency in service and if such operators like you are provided the ISP licence, i don’t think we can realise the dream of “Digital India” envisaged by our Hon’ble Prime Minister, India. Even the basic necessity like Internet is not provided after repeated follow-up and that too in metro areas, i cant even dream when and what kind of services this ISP like GTPL will provide in Rural Areas. Severe actions should be taken against such negligent ISP who harass people.

                I once again request you to refund Rs. 3060 within 2 days, failing which i will file a complaint before consumer forum/ appropriate authorities.

                Even the Appellate Authority is providing wrong information and facts that the connection is not feasible in my area. I am staying in Block No. G 501 and there are other customers of GTPL in my society in Block No. C who are using GTPL. Further, there is a advertisement of GTPL connection with contact no. of their sales representative in my G Block at Shiva Blessing, Sargasan, Gandhinagar. In spite of all these, the Appellate Authority, GTPL is on record saying that connection is not feasible in the area.

                Even if it is accepted that connection is not feasible in the area, you should not send your representative to collect money from the customers where you dont have reach. Secondly, if amount is collected by mistake, this should be informed to customer as the earliest and it should be refunded immediately. Customers should not waste their time in writing this matter to Appellate Authority, GTPL, AP TRAI.

                I once again request TRAI/ DOT to take actions against GTPL, Ahmedabad and issue show cause notice. Further, TRAI should also bar ISP from collecting money in the areas where they are not providing services. Money should be collected only after broadband line / Towers are installed and are ready to serve customers. Such provisions should be included in the " TELECOM CONSUMERS COMPLAINT REDRESSAL REGULATIONS, 2012

                  On 7th of this month i have made 2 payment, in both the cases amount has been taken, and as per confirmation from bank hathway internet has received the same, however, i have request for refund which is pending from 7th of this month and every time when i ask for refund your customer support ask for 15 working days which is 19 normal days, rbi transfer amount within 2 days, but you have policy of holding customers money for as many as days possible.

                  Cheats do not have money to run their company so either they beg for money or still or hold customer money to interest our of it.

                    I’m living in Gujarat, Ahmedabad.

                    I’m using the worst GTPL broadband service... from last couple of month service become low grade. they cut the connection as they want... not providing internet for couple of days without any reason...
                    list of problem faces with GTPL broadband

                    1. They disconnect internet for 1 day 3 day 4 day.
                    2. Every time we call tall free number automatically cut after 3 minute, its say that line is busy after so many try we connect than wait for executive so worst service.
                    3. Their customer executive not provide satisfactory answer and cut our phone call from their side.
                    4. They never solve our problem in 24 hours as their deadline.
                    5. They told us lie that your problem solves today but never solve as they promise even 72 hour gone.
                    6. Not good response from their customer care executive – senior customer care executive & their technician.
                    7. Many of my friend facing that problem too.

                    I let down many time but their service become worst day by day so I decide to complaint.

                    on date[protected] GTPL technician come at 6:30 PM to transfer DP from my home to neighbor home because there are so many wire on my home and want to paint my home ... Their technician transfer the DP to neighbor and INTENSIVELY not connect my broadband wire to DP ... i know this when i check my wire whether it connected or not and find my wire open to floor not connected INTENSIVELY as i thought...

                    i have complained to GTPL for this issue but they not listen me properly they give me time 24 hour to solve problem at[protected] till evening …… But no technician come to my home till evening[protected] ...
                    At evening i complaint again to senior executive AMIT he told me lie again that service person come in 1 hour before 8:30 PM[protected] …... No one come as I thought ...
                    Than I call again to their customer executive he told me that your problem solves till next evening of[protected] …... Their costumer care executive not providing satisfactory answer and cut my phone many time from their side …...
                    i call again[protected]:30 AM morning they again told me lie that your problem short out at 12:00 PM[protected] ... Still no technician come as i thought ...
                    I call again to senior executive JIGAR 12:45 PM[protected] again told me lie again that service man come at 2:00 PM before evening and so on lie promises ... No one come as I thought ……
                    I call again 2:45 PM[protected] again told me lie that service man come at 2:00 PM before evening and so on lie promises ... I wait for evening no one come as I thought ...
                    I call again 5:30 PM[protected] now they said me that wait for next evening[protected] ...

                    I tiered out from their answer and finally I go on to top floor of my home and with my risk I personally connected wire to their DP which is next to neighbor …… because I know that on next day I have to heard same answer...

                    I suffer lot from their service so I want my money back with interest.

                      I am a hathway cable tv subscriber. i have paid advance rental for 3 months valid till 31st august. i have subscrubed to royal hd package which includes 25-30 hd channels. since 1st july hd channels have stopped working. i have complained multiple times but no reply.

                      I have called centre multiple times and the ticket numbers are 4/jul/[protected]c6396 & 6/jul/[protected]c3760. i have also called the local cable tv operator who seems to have no clue as its all handled centrally by the call centre. its 20th july, still no signs of hd channels.

                        I recently renewed my 10 Mbps plan on 13-Jun 2016 and to be frank i have a hugh packet loss every day sometimes there is no connection also..and after 9 PM my latency is so high i can barely play any multiplayer games.
                        My ping is above 250 to 350 ms which is really frustrating..
                        and now the real thing after testing my speed on speedtest.net it came around 2.82 mbps which is not even half the speed i have paid for..
                        i[censored] look at the usage details on "http://www.gtpl.net/login/login.php" its say i have used 382451 MB which is around 382 GB but i[censored] look at the spreadsheet its already crossed over 823435 MB which is around 823 GB..
                        Suppose i[censored] download a 2 GB file on any client app. on the spreadsheet it registers above 8GB always its impossible to consume 800 GB within 2 Months for Me..and u can never login to stock market in the morning...
                        Contacted d customer care he doesn't even knows the difference of MB and GB so he sends an engineer and he says he cannot do anything ...its all server side problem...
                        This is such a BS i can barely surf now..it so slow and now customer care are always busy or switched off there is no way to contact them... i have attached few images as proof..i[censored] register an online complaint they say dat they were not able to contact me so they closed the ticket them self .

                        Please Help...

                          While booking the connection, you will receive sweet words by the sales executives. But after that you will get many problems

                            We are staying at b2-401/402 garden enclave, vasant vihar thane (west), the cable operator is sai seva cable. the guy usually comes to collect money once in four months without any prior info, this time he came by 27th june, accordingly due to insufficient cash, informed him to come by 1st july, 2016. he didnt turned up and abruptly with no information disconnected the cable service. all numbers provided in receipt are not reachable. mailed them up at [protected]@gmail.com but no response. we also informed the guy multiple times to collect the cable money every month, somehow he never turns up and with no prior info comes to collect money as per his convinience.informed the society man, to take his reachable number, he didnt provide. due to such situation i am lodging a complaint against them, where the behaviour of service guys is very unprofessional. let me know if the services could be on soon?

                                This is with reference to the internet is not working since last 11 days. I have raised a complaint with hathway 4 times but they closed the tickets every time without resolution. Sent an email to their officer but no one is replying. Called their customer support team more than 20 times. They have taken the money in advance for three months and now it seems they don't have the intentions to provide the services.
                                I requests to intervene in this matter.

                                  Very poor download and upload speed.

                                  Such a pathetic service provider!! refer attached speed test results. my upload speed shows 0.0 mbps and download speed as low as 1.20 mbps (please note : my plan should have a download speed of 8 mbps)

                                  I have purchased a quarterly plan, 8 mbps, 50 gb, for my wi-fi, for 3434 rs. i have raised numerous complaints to the appellate authority about my problem, but they just don't care to resolve the issue of the speed.

                                  This is complete negligence on their part. their technical support (no: tel[protected] lacks complete knowledge and engineers don't bother to call and when they do come over to our residence to check the issue (that too after much follow up) they aren't in a position to resolve the issue. they don't answer calls either and i do not know where to go to escalate my problems.

                                  My complaint numbers are : 17272762 / 17322451 / 17328616 / 17370192.

                                  The frustrating part is by default their system automatically closes the complaint the next day without even resolving the complaint.

                                  I wonder what is the senior management doing about it. their service is so very poor and they are totally un professional and non committed. with this "care a damn" attitude they need to be pulled up for their actions and made accountable. they have no right to behave in this manner.

                                  It is so very disappointing and utterly frustrating and mind you these complaints keep recurring simply because they are just so sub standard in what they do. complete street side vendor.

                                  They are very prompt in making calls to collect the money for renewals and sending sms reminders "please pay on time to continue enjoy un interrupted services"

                                  Dear hathway - your services are always interrupted!!! wake up buddy, times have changed, else you will be in no man's land very soon, there are many service providers in the pipeline!!! your sloth like behaviour is going to cause you irreversible damage... so grow up and do your homework well...

                                    Hathway broadband 50mbps plan paid 3800 for 3 months.
                                    Internet is not reliable . It will work for few hour/minutes then will stop working then again start working automatically/ modem restart after few hours/minutes. This way it is not useful at all and very frustrating.

                                    I have complain many time in the past one year.

                                    This time my Internet is not working at all from last 24 hours and custoomer care is only apologizing and saying that someone will contact you.

                                    No one is calling or resolving this issue they dont have details of the issue or any update i have called 5 times and I am getting same stupid reply.

                                    I need my money back.

The recharge was unsuccessful and for that the customer care representative said that the money will be refunded. Next day i can see the balance in my hathway account. I have lodged many complaints for the same. Later they confirmed that the refund wil happen within two weeks. It is already more than 2 weeks and no refund has been done. Such an idiotic behaviour. If it continues i will proceed further for mental harassment.
                                      Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                        Dear sir

                                        I was shocked when i received your sms that i have used 90% of my data plan but i came to know that on 4/6 & 6/6 kindly 94 gb and 70 gb upload done which is not used by us kindly check who has misused our id. Please help or suggest which is the next authority to complain on this. Router issues are also there but nobody is responding.
