This is in regards to my complaint which i lodged with gtpl broadband services. My userid is tinwala2013.

My internet connection keeps shutting off frequently and i had registered a complaint for the same; for which request id is 1233298.

Now here is my concern. In last week same as usual my internet was not working for 4 days continuously. Then it got started after sending lot of emails and calling thousand of times to customer care people. They are so illiterate and duffer that they don't even know how to resolve the complaint. Then again after 2 days they deliberately cut off my connection. It started again and they asked for my confirmation on email that it has started. I did that too. And as soon as they got my confirmation, they again deliberately disconnected my internet. They always do this; as soon as they get my confirmation they deliberately disconnect my connection without any reason.

They are literally harassing us by doing such cheap and awkward things. I have paid them a good amount to use their internet service and then also they are unable to provide the required service and satisfy their customers up to the mark. And they have the worst people as their telecallers. They are so useless that they don't even get how to and where to resolve this matter. Don't know on what basis they hire such useless employees.

I am writing it to consumer forum and i request you to please take a strict action against gtpl broadband and i also request you to cancel their license due to such pathetic and disgusting service. They don't deserve to run such company and should not allow to cheat customers by fetching money and not providing services.

I hope to get my issue resolved on a priority basis and i would appreciate if gtpl gets a strict notice from dot or required authority.

Net service provider GTPL has taken annual fee 3 days back and told that connection will be given within 3hrs but no personal from gtpl attending complaints.
I have given many reminder but no action so far till the time.

why are you not taking same rent in same city? i pay different rent and next to my area people different rent. this is one network than how's it possible? and why are you not given payment receipt?

    I have made payment toward hathway cable & datacom for new internet connection on 18/04/2016 and salesman name chintan said it will be started in 2 days but its now 26/04/2016 and still nobody came for cabling. we getting many problems bcoz we cant work without internet but hathway's staff not providing good services and just making fool o[censored]s and when we said we file a complaint toward consumer forum, they started laughing saying go ahead, its worthless.
    so please take strict action against them.

      Hello Panel,

      I am a customer of Hathway broadband with account no. 1317565.

      I had received a mail and voice call from Hathway regarding offer of 12 months + 1 month free subscription on the month of Oct 2015. So as to avail the offer, I had paid the amount on Oct month itself. After paying the money they extended my validity period from 12th Oct 2015 to12th Oct 2016 but did not add my free subscription of 1 month.

      Due to this I had called them several times and also dropped them several mails. Initially simply without investigating the issue, they replied saying no offer has been awarded to you and said if you have any mail please send us.

      Luckily I had the mail in which it is clearly mentioned "Kindly received your yearly payment with offer 12 months + 1 month". So I forwarded them the mail. They replied that this offer will take 3 to 4 months to reflect.

      Again I tried to chase them but again they asked me to send us the offer mail. This has happened several times. They keep on asking me for the offer mails.

      Now on 17th on Feb they said "Sorry for the inconvenience caused and again assured me that the offer will be reflected within 30 days". Today they have completed 2 months and 10 days but no reply nor any changes seen in my account extension of 1 month.

      Please help me with this fraud offer.

      I have all the mail proof with me. Please let me know if you require the same.

        I have written several emails and phone call to resolve my internet connection problem, But it was not attented.And forcefully i had no option than to get another internet company service. I have written several email for refund on my money but all in vain.I tried to contact GTPL office since last year. I have called several times to collect the refund . But no one has ever replied me with positive response.
        Please find attached herewith various emails sent to GTPL.

          I had given a application of sub- Disconnection of my internet service on 28 May 15. I had also deposited my modem/router MAC for refund. they received my documents with accesories on dated 28 may 2015. They have given me GRM No- 211741, and told me u will get cheque by mail within one month. i tried to call customer care and their department but the did not solve my problem.now it became approx 01 yr.please solve my issue

            Sir,
            It is intimated that a sum of Rs.2880/- was paid to your channel for yearly subscription in c/w package of Rs. 315/- /p.m on 31.01.2016 with the assurance for due channels as mentioned. But, unfortunately, it is noticed that many a channels specially English movies cum due English channels have been withdrawn. The local channel controller have been informed many a time, but all become futile.
            so, it is requested to take active active immediate action for settlement of my claim. The same was brought to the notice of local nodal officer, but in vein. Otherwise, I will be compelled to take the shelter of Law.

              Hathway always used to downgrade speed saying that I crossed the fair usage limit of 15GB within 20-25 days. They use to make fake report to show cumulative usage as 15GB if asked for report (hardly you get a reply from billing desk or helpdesk, except an autogenerated mail).

              This time I changed my plan to 25 GB per month to cover up the last week usage if I really exceed 15 GB within 20-25 days. However, this time they are showing that I crossed 25GB within 13 days; i.e. 2GB per day. Trust me, I never use to download any movie or songs. I also use 3G mobile data separately and have fair idea o[censored]sage.

              Hathway is really using unfair means to cheat customers which needs urgent attention. Not sure if this complain will serve my purpose and any investigation will happen. However, this is something I would like to highlight to TRAI or Telecom Ministry so that they can take appropriate action.

              Does not look like this forum serves the purpose, looking at 8% compliance regarding issue resolution.

                I converted my normal set top box to hd set top box by paying 4500/- before around 20 days for which I have not received any receipt yet.while giving set top box the person told mi that cost is 4500/- and for one year hd pack is free and you don't have to pay charges for hd pack. Now when I go to hathway office in mulund east they told mi that the amount of 4500/- is included.one year charges of 2000/- and it is not free.
                Secondly the picture quality is not good so I called hathway person to check the quality so he came today and I show him but he replied that the quality will not improve further.
                Hence inspite of paying charges of hd pack if there is lack of picture quality what is the meaning of purchaising hd pack. I m very disappointed with the approach of hathway person that the quality of picture will be the same and there will be no improvement.
                Hence I want to cancel the contract and return the hd set top box. Kindly give me refund of 4500/- at earliest.

                    Despite continouos complaints regarding the speed of my broadband, hathway has not done anything to resolve the problem.fron last 3 months i have been facing problems.numerous times i have called and emailed hathway but that was of no use .internet works for 5 days and for the rest 25 days its damn too slow.no compensation is provided and the hathway people just send an email saying issue is resolved even without checking with me.please help as it is really frustating and hathway is fooling innocent people as the take money in advanve but fail to provide service

                      I am using hathway connection and my id is 1230280 and i submit the plan change request last month and i paid full payment of that plan but my plan was not change, in this month hathway executive said that i need to pay full payment again but i paid extra amount last month and in this regard i sent mail to [protected]@hathway.Net because last month ms. Mamta said you need to send mail at this id for plan change but i did not get any revert from her side.
                      I need immediatel response from hathway side.

                        I am lt col rameshwar gupta, resident of secunderabad. I am holding a set top box of hathway with set top box no 1855of4odbds. My cable operator harish cable has been harassing me from day one, since this cable has been installed. On, 23/4/2016, they have arbitrarily cut my cable connection, stating that i have not paid the monthly payment of my cable bill. However, the person who comes to collect the money, mr satish came to my house and has specific confessed that he did not come to my residence to collect the money. Despite the fact that it is not my fault then why my cable has been disconnected? I would request you to kindly take action against this cable operator and especially against mr satish, who is the main culprit and is the main root cause of harassment and hence should be punished for his fault. I would also request you to kindly restore my cable connection immediately.

                          I am having issue of dead broadband since last 6 days, i have already registered complaint in gtpl care but they didn't resolve the complaint within their given period of time. I am usually facing same problem during saturday sunday(weekends). I am running a online business so I highly need internet 24x7. But the service provider is not going well to solve my issue. I had called many times during these days but they are feeling only apologizes not even trying to resolve my issue within given periods of time.

                            I'm paying for 600KBS speed however Hathway is giving the connection speed of 75KBS.. I have spent almost 100 Hours calling their customer service and informing them.. the Call center folks are first of all very rude and novice when it comes to technical knowledge. They will make me repeat a stupid step of turn off modem and restart it after 30 seconds then place me on hold.. come back after 10 minutes and give a ticket number. The ticket number next day gets closed by their engineer mentioning that the issue is resolved. It's easy for me to switch to a local provider and close all relationship with Hathway, but I want to lodge this complain against Hathway for cheating customers and doing false business to make money !                             Dear Sirs,
                            With reference to my above mentioned internet broadband #, I would like to inform you about the pathetic customer service & internet speed that your call center & technical service delivers to the customers.
                            It’s been almost a week that I have been calling your contact center to inform that I’m not able to browse the internet as the speed I’m receiving is worse than my phone’s 2G connection also !
                            Every time your contact center associates tell me a sorry and agree that I’m paying Hathway for 600KBS speed but I’m receiving only 50-60Kbs speed which is absolutely ridiculous.
                            To make the situation more worse all the ticket numbers they give me are not even attended by your on field engineers and without even resolving the issue the tickets are closed. Below are few ticket numbers that I have received and are closed without any resolution

                            Along with this letter I’m also attaching the snapshot of the speed test conducted from the website www.speedtest.net which clearly shows that I’m only receiving the speed of 15-20Kbs. Please note this website is also recommended by your contact center team
                            I’m really tired of everyday calling to your contact center now, as they are of no use and hence I’m forced to write this letter as my last attempt to resolve the issue with Hathway, then next step from here would be to switch over to a competitive vendor and close all relationship with Hathway

                              I have taken a GTPL Hathway Broadband internet connection in last February in my home in B 101, Ashwamegh II, Akota Road, Muj Mahuda, Vadodara - 390020. It was working fine upto March, but suddenly there was no internet connection since 25 th March, 2016. I have talked to their Customer Care service and registered my complain (Complain No.: 1174983 dated 01.04.2016). There was a reply from them on 07.04.2016 that my problem has been resolved. But there was no internet connection, neither any technician visited my home to resolve that problem. I even contacted the GTPL service provider Mr. Yogesh Baria (Ph No. [protected]) several times, but everytime he says my problem is going to be resolved the next day.
                              Please resolve my problem as soon as possible as it is extremely necessary for my business.

                                My account number is 1424065 on the name of Ms. Vageshwari Atrejaa. Since the day i have installed hathway connection at my place, I am facing problem with the connectivity. Every second day i have to register a complaint and I have to suffer on my professional end due to this.
                                I am always answered that there is no person available to cater to my problem.
                                You may trace the number of complaint registered by me.

                                secondly, the usage shown for my account is always over-estimated. Even if there is no network for 24 hours then too the usage shows upto 4 GB hiked.

                                I am now tired of registering complaints to Hathway services against my problem.
                                even when i have recharged on hathway then also I have to pay for my alternate network many a times.
                                I demand for good services and also the refund for the loss i have encountered all this while due to this .

                                  The customer service is very poor. I have taken a new broadband connection in Lokhandwala township. They have not provided me any account no. and just gave me a receipt. Now when i am trying to renew my plan, they are asking for my registered number. When i gave that they are saying that they don't have this number registered to any hathway account. I have called them 100 times but those persons are not listening to the complaint carefully and just wavering the call from one person to another. They are so incompetent in their work. I wish i could use some other broadband services but my society is allowing only their connection only and i am stuck with this foolish hathway internet service. Please look into it because they are acting highly unprofessional.

                                    I have subscribed the Hathway broadband 50MBPS 75 GB plan for 5151 for three months. From day one, I have been struggling with the speed provided by the company. It is now 17 days. I plan was activated on 3.4.2016. Account number is [protected]. I lodged complaint on this forum also. In reply, I got a response from the company on 19.4.2016 that their technical team will contact me ASAP.
                                    Today in the morning, the speed was 1.19, in the evening, it was 0.25 and now at 10.50, 0.19 against my payment for 50. Such a dismal behavior. I have to lodge a complaint almost daily. I have told their executives that I did not subscribe to this service for a fun. Further, I don't have enough time to disturb myself for such complaints. I subscribed for the service because I needed the speed. This has been wasting my time, money, energy and peace of mind.
                                    The technician of hathway has visited me a number of times and changed the router twice. Various reasons have been given against such behavior of the broadband. One is that the company is using the basic router and for more speed, I should install my own router. (The company promises free router). The other solution given to me is that whenever the speed is down, I should shut down the router for a few minutes and then restart. No permanent solution is given.
                                    My experience shows that Hathway is a fraud company. It does not have the competence or will to serve the customers as per the promise and the payment collected. I have recorded all the conversation I had with the executive, customer care etc. I will recommend all the prospective customers who are thinking of subscribing to Hathway not to do so and think hundred times before the take a decision to subscribe for Hathway.
                                    I am putting up this review of social media and hope that the company launches defamation case against me in the court of law. In that case, I will produce all the conversation before the court and am sure that the verdict will be in my favour and I will be awarded a heavy cost. I have requested the representative of the company a number of times that if they are not able to provide me the agreed speed for which I have paid, they should refund me my money. But I think, being a fraudulent company, they are not responding to this request.
                                    Another thing, as per the company, the my above account was started on 31.3.2016 and if anybody dials the customer care, the IVR menu says that my account is deactive in their data base. Really really really a disgusting affair which in today's world cannot be excused.
                                    I hope that the executives of the company who read this review will definitely take a decision to refund my money alongwith compensation and an unqualified apology. Anybody from the company can contact me and I will play the recording with me about my complaints and also show the results of speed done by me on speedtest.net.

                                      I have registered a complain for 651 error since last 10 days but still is not done resolve.i have also complain on special nodal officers number twice...but they haven't solved my complain...it's an emergency period because of my exam...they are not giving any responce for my complain.it is still not solved...so i want to registered a complain against the gtpl.

                                        We are majorly looking for the help
                                        As we are struggling with customer service provided by local hattway cable operator
                                        Case details : for last five days our cable connection is not working ( error message: check your local connection) we try to contact our local cable person but he is not responding back to us ( all the time doing false commitment with us )

                                        Please look into the matter as earliest and resolve the issue
