I have renewed my hathway broadband account no: 1011485 on[protected] thru onlinesbi netbanking. The amount of Rs. 2853.46 debited from my account for the plan MQN_Combo 512D-2048N_6Mnth. But neither my account got activated nor showing in payment history. I have not got the money back.


When I enquired in the bank about the payment, the bank authority is saying that the amount is paid to hathway account. Its been already over one and half month and still no action from your end. When I tried to speak with your customer care executives, they are not answering me properly and telling me to mail to surat help desk. I have been mailing to surat helpdesk many times. But still I did not get any reply.

    Hi I have taken a connection in the month of Jan 2016. Its costing me Rs 850 including tax. I gave them a cheque of Rs2600. It got activated soon and everything well. After one day I logged into portal and saw that data usage was whooping high in GB where me and my wife were using only whatsapp. I have complained them but they are saying that my router might be hacked and they asked me to contact the hacker. Isn't it stupid. I still told them that I cant use 8GB in one day when I'm sitting in office. I wrote a mail to Nodal officer and he is also not agreeing. I have changed the password too and now I'm measuring the data usage very strictly. Also complaint lodged for the same is closed by them without informing us any resolution. Im watching for few days and will go for disconnection.

        I am an existing Hathway customer A/C No - 1524871.
        I had activated my account last month with the payment of Rs 2400/-
        Currently, my account is deactivated.
        My complaint number is 1590890 which was lodged few days back.
        Initially, the care representative claimed the account was deactivated because of server error and the account will be activated next morning before 12 noon .
        However, the account is not yet activated.
        Today, Hathways's care representative is claiming that i am short of payment and I have not paid the service tax.
        Hathways's sales representative (Samir Shaikh) gave a verbal commitment of waiving off the Service Tax at the time of activating the account hence I had gave a cheque of Rs 2400.
        If I was short of payment the account should have never been activated and the cheque should have not been accepted.

        I am really disappointed with the service and suffering losses due to inactive connection.

          Dear Team,

          We have opted for package through Hathaway for all channels . It's very annoying to remind every month to the cable operator( sv cable network :[protected] Authorised Cable operator of HATHWAY CABLE AND DATA COM PVT LTD)
          That all channels are not coming, And he claims that this is procedure of Hathaway that every month it gets disconnected and we have to remind them. They collect the money for 30 days and provide service 28 days sometimes if don't remind its 20 days.

            Hi,

            I was a hathway internet customer for close to 2 years. I usually recharge for 3 months in advance. This time I needed to shift my house to bhandup east to vikhroli west and I was told by the hathway team that my connection could be shifted (I'd shared new address proof etc.) for the same. The team is so slow with response that they didn't even get back in 2 weeks.

            Why would a customer pay in advance for 2 weeks when they can take their own time to shift their connection 3kms away in the same city! This is really hilarious and unacceptable.

            On Jan 14th (After 10s of phone calls to customer care and multiple email follow-ups) I sent them an email to close my account with immediate effect and refund me the 2 month fee which they had received in advance and initial deposit.

            No response after 40 days!! This shows deliberate negligence and intention to fool a customer. In a age where customer shifts vendors within a day, if hathway is so so negligent in customer queries and complaints with such a terrible terrible customer care team God save their business!

            Resolution expected: Refund for 1-2 months internet (Paid in advance) and initial deposit asap

              Hi team,

              In december i have token a internet connection from hathway bangalore (ayyappa nagar) from first day i am logging complain about internet problem and committed speed.
              Each and every time for logging complain i have to call their number and spend approx 50 rupees.
              Always they are providing temporary solution i have warned several time for consumer complain but still they are not provided fix solution.
              Some time in weekend i have to finish some urgent office work through home but due to internet issue i not able to complete my work now situation has come where office are planing to fire me. i want to log a complain and stick action against hathway company i have all mail and complain record if required i will provide.

                I have taken hathway broadband connection on 9th of february 2016 .plan 650 which the company promised of 15mbps netspeed upto 75 GB and i almost made downloads of 12gb and okay if they calculated even for the browsing so lets consider it is like another 10gb but now my net speed is like 800kbps-960kbps and this is the worst service i had ever seen in hyderabad though i am using internet from past 8 years.For every 2-3 days my net keeps on disconnecting and i have to call customer care and they clear it by taking a whole day and the same is happening again and again

                    They say they are providing a speed of 50mbs for the internet plan on the account no 1142874 by the name of Deepak Shah.

                    How can they be so grossly wrong.
                    When i did the speed test of my connection its 0.28mbps which not even 1% of what they claim.

                    My business has suffered as i work from home and i want a compensation of Rs 10 lacs for the same.

                    I have been facing this issue since lot of days. Assuming their team works on consistently finding and solving such problems i refrained from filing a complaint.

                    Now its high time.
                    Hence filing a complaint.

                      I am a user of GTPL Hathway broadband Ltd, from 11th feb 2016 my internet is not working and I have registered the complaint in customer court on the same day and as per company said policy every issue is resolved in 3 working days and currently it's 20th feb 2016 but it's not yet resolved. No one from company spoke to me regarding fixing of the connection during this 10 days.
                      Because of this outage I incurred a good amount of loss financially as I am working from home maximum time and they harassed me with the service too. I would like to file compliant against them for their wrong doing.

                        Even after paying the money they havent started the internet services. We have lodged a complaint in customer care and still there is no reply from their end. It seems that this company works in 18th century.

                        This had happened last time as well. We had paid the money and internet services had started after 10 days. We were told that we will get an extension of 10 days at the end, But nothing was give as such.

                        They make all fake promises. They just want money on time but in return they don't want to give the services. This is just making a false impression for the hathway company. With such a slow process and strategy, it doesnt seem they will sustain for longer. They have to take such complaints on a serious note. Even after payment of the money we dont get the service is like being harassed.

                        We have faced this issue and wont like others to face such an issue. Dont trust any of the Hathway person and ask for a guaranteed start date of the service. They should know the power of people. even if 10 of them opt out of this service, I would understand that my words went successful.

                          Dear Sir,

                          The expiry of my broadband A/c no. 1216748 in my name Ibrahim Ali Khot was February 20, 2016. It was a 5 GB 5 mbps plan.

                          I received SMS from Hathway on my registered mobile no. [protected] informing me that my a/c is expiring on February 20 and requesting me to renew by paying Rs.1764.

                          I personally went to renew it for a further period of 3 months i.e. from February 21, 2016 to May 20, 2016 to your Kalyan Centre at Bail Bazar, Kalyan West, Maharashtra on February 19, 2016

                          At the payment counter I was informed that there are some offers going on under which I can upgrade my existing plan of 5GB 5mbps to 10GB 5mbps by paying an additional amount of Rs.342.

                          I paid the difference and renewed it for a further period of 3 months i.e. 21.2.2016 till 205.2016. However, I am surprised to find that my
                          account is renewed from 19.2.2016 till 18.5.2016.

                          I went and personally spoke to the same person who offered me the plan. I requested him to change the renewal date. He said he cannot do anything and if I want I can speak to the customer care number.

                          I phoned the customer care number. They confirmed that my account is expiring on February 20 and as such the next expiry date should be 20.5.2016. But they said they cannot do anything about it and I should write to billing desk/help desk.

                          I understand it must be an error at the time of making an entry in the system. Hence I am requesting Hathway to change the expiry date of my existing plan to May 20, 2016 instead of May 18, 2016.

                            This regarding my continuous complain on your forum for the speed issue my account number is 1202661, I palced complain through yur appellate, customer care, zonal officer, then also my speed is same...now I'm going to launch a complain in consumer forum...for the last two month the issue persist...then also it is not rectified...and at last my payment term is over and time came to recharge the account for another three months...again I will send the money to a big river...or say big sea...where it is eaten by big fishes...and we get a big zero...out of it...

                            and now it is a time to not asking for "please help me out" it si a time to raise it to higher authority...

                              Dear Sir/Madam, My internet services of Acc no. 775650 has been deactivated since 19/2/2016 however I have already paid Rs. 2270/- on 17/02/2016 by online transections. I have got phone calls and msg from nos. [protected] and [protected] to deposit the amount of Rs. 2277/- and I will get speed boost up 50mbps and the data of 10 GB with modem, change. However I have launched the complaint on hathway custmer care at 9:27am on 19/02/2016 (Complaint No.[protected] and the custemer care executive assured that it would activate within 4 hours and the I have called again at 3:55pm and till time its deactivated only. I would like to discontinue with the services and requesting you to return my amount deposited with the company.

                                When my internet was not working I raised a complain then hathway person changed the modem and advised to wait for half an hour to activate the modem and now 3 days passed but modem is not activated yet. Now when I call to customer care they repeat the same sentence that WITHIN 24 HOURS YOUR ISSUE WILL BE RESOLVED but still not resolved.

                                From last 3 days I am waiting to resolve my issue. Please do the needful.

                                  This is Siva Krishna, I have requested for a new connection on[protected] by making 3 months payment 2230 INR /-.The installation guy came in and left saying the local person not giving me the permission to set up wire connection. Neither given with the connection nor refunded with my money. I’ve cancelled the request for their connection as they are not able to get me a connection.

                                  Customer care services is completely useless, i was promised the issue will be resolved in 24 hours many times, but till now i have not get my money refunded, i am really fedup with the service.

Inspite of so many complaint they just close the complaint without giving feedback & tell me the my problem has been solved.                                       I have been tolerating Hathway with slow speed and now it has been pathetic problems they have been creating.
                                      My Acc no 272908 and i have been using a prepaid plan for 2 months for 2 GB and been using since many years.
                                      In Jan i got message that bill has to be paid by 29th Jan 2016, i paid it online on 27th Jan, Inspite of this they disconnected it.After complaints they started it but they have not added the data available from last year.
                                      Now they have de activated saying that it has overflown.
                                      I asked customer care to check my data till dec 2015 and to see if they have added it in January, they say they dont have data of dec, send mail to billing department, etc.

                                        We had renewed our Internet plan for 3 months on 27 Jan however hathway has such a pathetic software that it didn't reflect back well and our account was deactivate for more then 7 days, daily despite of calling them 10 times we were not getting any help. When asked for refund they said you need to wait for 45 days. Worst harassment ever faced by any service provider. Guys please don't got Hathway as they don't have basic ethics and respect for there customers and just fool around.
