I was using Hathway Broadband Internet from Aug, 2014. User id is 1167490.

I raised request for disconnection in Oct, 2015. And I have submitted the modem and router on 20th Oct, 2015. As per communication by Hathway executive at that time, I was supposed to get my security refund of Rs 1000 in 1 months. But it didn't refunded.

Then in December I mailed to Appellate Officer and Nodal Officer for the same concern. On that, they replied to me wait for 1 month.

Now its more that 1.5 months, but money is not refunded yet.

    I have subscribed to your Broadband service (Subscriber No: 1544070) for barely 15 days and are tired already with the poor service provided. Here are my issues :

    The speed is never at 50mpbs. It is usually below 10 mpbs.
    I have lodged over 8 complaints since subscription. I have also spoken to so-called Senior Managers at their Call centre. Sometimes I am put on hold indefinitely. Even the call centre did not pick up the call on occassion.
    Although it is promised that engineers would visit my home this never happens. Frustratingly the complaints are closed at their end without seeking my consent.
    I have written to the Nodal officer (without any response)and even the Apellate Authority but no action is taken.

      GTPL connection is provided to me in this week. And today it's not working. I registered complaint.

      I have already complained about today in the morning. I just tired by complaining in the morning and full day I am without internet. then it start. It happens every alternative day. I paid for 6 month it means i am able to use 3 months. is it? The agent is not picking up my phone. Customer care is just noting down the complaint.

My internet connection is not working from about 4 days and I am not able to connect your useless customer care service because whenerver I call and follow auto receiver's instructions the call gets disconnected(after typing account no.)I have paid all the connection charges well in advance.Such pathetic service providers i have ever faced and would not recommend hath way to anyone.

          GTPL is not providing any after sales service. Don't go with GTPL.
          My internet is not working since yesterday and we called them to fix it but they ask for Modam mac address and I was out side of city, my daughter don't know how to read MAC adress because she is just 8. However I request them to send person on site then they denied, we can't send person directly without confirming MAC address for Modam.
          They did same thing when I took new connection - they send sales person within 10 minute to my home to pick up documents but within two days when I got wifi modam and called to set up new Modam they denied we are not providing kind of service. you have to do on your own. we called so many time but they never pick up call.

          They are not believe to provide after sales service. that same thing happen with one of my friend.

            Hello,

            This is regarding the account no. 1117666, which I was using for a year before I had to move to Pune for career shift.

            I had requested for disconnection of my services on 14th July 2015, since I was moving to Pune on15th. After repeated mails, I did not get any reply. I believe it was on purpose to keep my account active and keep me charging. If I called them up, they put me on hold for half an hour on the pretext of checking my details. I tried raising so many complaints, but the service desk guys were extremely unhelpful.

            After a lot of emails and contacting the customer care, the router was finally collected. After this I settled the pending bill, believing that the connection would now be closed.

            However, to my surprise, I kept receiving bills in the further months. I even received calls asking me to make the payment. I told them that I had submitted the modem and the connection has not been in use for months now. To which they showed surprise.

            Every month I keep getting a new bill and messages. I would like to know why my account has not been closed, and why is no proper action being taken on my complaints?

            This is one service I would never ever recommend to anyone.

            Further update on this issue:

            I received a call on 17th Feb, from someone claiming to be from Hathway. He said that the issue has been resolved from back-end where it was stuck, and I will not be getting any further bills. The pending amounts have been adjusted and I do not have to pay anything. I believed him and did not ask for any written communication.

            However it was stupid of me to think that it has been resolved.

            I received another mail from someone called Ravindra on 21st Feb that my payment is overdue, and I have to immediately pay otherwise connection would be disconnected. Then I again got a call from someone today (23rd Feb) asking for the payment.

            I would like to know what kind of harassment is this? What action can be taken against Hathway for such unprofessional behavior? They have come down to blatant cheating and coercing people.

            I would like Hathway to issue a written acknowledgement of the closure of connection. If not, I want strict action to be taken against them for such unfair practices. Kindly direct me to the proper authorities.

              my name is sunil yashavant shivalkar...My complaint is against local person who receiving the cash and datta more who is in charge of disconnection

              since15 years we are valuable customer of hathway cable...And today we get bad service from local operator of hathway

              i m giving the whole description of cable service

              from 10 years we had local hathway person his name was venkat who was receiving cash from us and giving the service...Due to cancer ..Venkat had dead and one and half year ...Approsimately 18 months no person has come to collect hathway cable charges of every month

              and as we are staying in slum area it indicates we are below poverty line...Our family income is as not as to be...We have to maintain all consumption ...Ultimately at last no saving...

              And due to no person of hathway the amount of debt was incrasing every month ...After 6 month we hear from some one that venkat of hathway digital cable person has no more so we waited for new person to come 1 year has been passed after that no one has come...


              Then i had intimate hathway customer desk to send any executior for collection of money...Ultimately we have to give the debt of amount...Which was burden for us...So company hear us request and had send new executior to collect the cash

              then as usual we had told to hathway employee that mistake is from u r end...So we could not pay the whole year money at one time we will pay partly

              so he had told us pay previous outstanding 1 month and pay 1 current month...Then we had accepted his proposal 1 month outstanding and 1 current month ...Total 2 months...So this is repating us every month


              as new changes has come to hathway...Recharge u topup plan before disconnection line...And enjoy all benefits...So we have accepted hathway new changes


              so it is hathway duty to inform customer to pay current and previous money on time or just intimate the date...I accept that we are receving msg ...But the cable person who is reciving the cash...He is not punctual ...Neither he his coming on time neither he is calling us to pay the money...Or not reciving the call which he has given

              i m giving his all details ...The person name is vishal who is receving the cash from us at every month and his mobile number is [protected]...
              Vishal is neither intimating us nor he reciving the cash on time


              and his superior his datta more...They directly discoonecting the cable without asking customer...It is mistake is from hathway end...Hathway has given them responsibilty to maintain relationship against hathway and customer...

              They directly disconnecting the cable without asking us wether vishal cash reciver is coming on time had he call or had he intimate earlier...

              totally bad service from hathway end...I want to appeal my strick complaint against cash reciver vishal and datta more who is incharge of our area...


              It is request avoide my disconnection and reactivate my connection...And send new person to our area on time before avoiding disconnection...

              We also don"t like to keep outstanding of hathway money...Ultimately it is government money ...It is asset /...And we don"t want to become liabilties for hathway


              so plz take action on vishal and datta more...And give me the revert of my complaint ...

                My account was automatically converted to postpaid from prepaid without my confirmation or intimating me.

                As per the amount confirmation with the Hathway executive I made entire payment for one month prepaid 25 GB FUP plan. After few days, I got a call and got to know that my plan has been changed to postpaid.

                I requested for change to prepaid back. Despite of solving this, they sent me a bill well before I had exhausted my 1 month for which I had already paid. Every Hathway executive will give different different information and then all blame goes to customer.

                I request hathway to revert back the bill sent to me and convert my plan back to prepaid. I have already sent them a mail for this and if they won't do this, terminate my connection. I no longer want it. With such a poor service. I have been following with them for quite some time now. No resolution, despite they are still asking for money to convert the plan.

                  Since last 7 days internet is not working when calling in call center (which is chargable) they always say will b active in few hours. But since last 7 days not working n still they say will take 3 days more we pay for it n didn't get proper reply from there.

                    I have paid for a 50Mbps connection and for over last one month, I have not received that speed. The speed persistently has been under 25Mbps and sometimes well under 5Mbps. I have placed several complaints about it and despite that the speed has not been rectified for over one month.

                    The 25 GB that I have paid for have been depleted at considerably lower speeds and now they have downgraded the speed to 1Mbps.

                    Now in the the new month billing cycle, they have started sending messages that due to excessive usage my speed has been downgraded from day one of the billing cycle.


                    I had placed below complaints for this which were closed without even addressing the issue

                    Every time I send out an email about this, they open it as a new complaint without actually closing the former complaint.


                    I want an extension one month and my speed and data restored for this month

                      I have 3 months + 1 month free offer and your system is not updated when I call my local office (jigna & Gaurav) they say u need to speak with billing desk and when I mail to billing desk there is no responce or call... 11 days passed and nothing happend.. From last 4 days I am calling in my local office (jigna & Guarav) they said till evening it will be working. Before this i have called Hathway customer care they filed a complaint which is useless I gues. After placing a complaint nothing happend and even I got the msg of my complaint no and even if is closed.

                      You people are just concerned about people toh reneve there accounts. Sending 4-5 message daily and a call to ask renew and if I say this is my problem they simply cut the call. This is getting over and above the head. Even I know how toh treat and speak toh such people.

                      This will be my last mail from last 11 days I was very humble. Which makes no sence. More than 120 rs I have spend just toh call Hathway customer care and local office.
                      And I think I need to take help of some other people toh solve this

                      After calling your so called customer care... They are not in a postion toh take care of customers..

                      Your system is not updated, your system is down, I haves given you the offer, talk with the person who gave you the offer, you should have taken in written from the person who gave you the offer, wait till evening your net will be online, our billing department will call you in half and hour, we can't do anything, offer process time is of one week, after waiting for 2 weeks you people can't do a single changes...!!

                      If I visit the local office there server gets down. It stops working...

                      Customer care takes a customer so lightly that they are fool they don't raise there voice means they are dump keep making fool. Keep giving excuses..

                      I agree with this. I have had the same problem and customer care keeps on giving you promises that everything will get sorted in the next 4 hours.

                      Their broadband speeds are consistently below acceptable levels (80% as prescribed by TRAI)

                      Billing desk does not respond to emails either.

                      Hathway service is going down the drain and they have a bunch of lying jokers sitting around in the helpdesk

                      the sales person of the hathway broadband, A.S.rao nagar, has not given the pendrive which he has offered in the internet package... it is almost more than one month he said he is going to give us the pendrive...

                        Dear Hathway,
                        I was one of the subscriber of your inferior broadband with Account number 1352126. I got the connection on 15 June 2015 and had paid full amount for a year Rs.12539. From the day I got the connection it was awfully slow and each passing day, I used to call your substandard customer call centre to place a complaint. Everyday, I was assured that the service would improve in couple of hours but nothing that sort of happened. Finally getting frustrated with the poor service, I decided to terminate the contract after 17 days and on 2nd July 2015, I handed over the Modem/Router and Cables to Vimal Yadav in your Malad, Hathway office.

                        I was promised that the balance amount (after deducting 17 days of pathetic connection) will be refunded in 45 days of time. Since October 2015, I have been regularly following up and had sent around 20-25 emails to Technical Team, Billing Desk, Account Department but still there is no sign of any refund neither there is any response from any of the teams. The 2 nos +[protected] and +[protected] to enquire about funds never seems to connect.

                          I have been facing problem since beginning with hathway. Its a pathetic customer service. Initially wrong plan was assigned for which i did followup for 3 months such a useless and unprofessional nodal officers and appellate. Now new problem has raised my internet speed was downgraded before finishing my 10 GB of monthly data. Same followup is going on but no solutions. Such ruthless and unprofessional service provider I ever came across. Its a punishment to have hathway connection, would definitely not recommend anyone. I know such type of language doesn't make an impact on service provider like hathway but I have certain standard which I can not downgrade to the level of Hathway standard.

                            Need invoice copy for last payment

                            I opened case four days back to get the invoice copy for the payment I made on 12'Jan. Ref # 15718829 Account#1460752. I called customer care multiple times and every time they say wait till EOD. This happens for six days and then they respond "we will be unable to provide invoice copy to your account has currently you are in prepaid plan, and there is no option of providing invoice copy for prepaid accounts."                             From last one month or above we have facing subject problem regularly. Every day minimum 50% time our TV shown subject message and we are just waiting for start channels. Don't know it is only in our area or for all but I think, I have invest my money in wrong thing b'coz each n every time our cable operator said, its not our side its error from gtpl.

                              Since 18th Nov15, I'm complaining about speed, however no one is resolving the Issue, now in this month i have consumed my FUP and as per my plan i should get 1 mbs speed post Free usage, however i am getting only 7 to 50 kbps maximum, have complaint N number times at call center however non one has turned up at my residence to fix this Issue.

                              And only one answer call center give every time "due to some technical issued there is speed issue".

                                I had made payment for 3 months internet services but even after repeated reminders my services were not activated and everytime they quoted the reason as the backend is not available even though it was a working day. After so much delay in activation of serivces, i was informed within 5 days that my 50GB pack has been exhausted and therefore the speed has been reduced to 1KBPS. I would like to inform that i am not even recieveing the 1KBPS speed and when i informed the costumer care executive, they assured me that the same will be resolved within a day but i dont find any resoulution till date

                                  Hello, I am Abhitej Savjani, I am staying in USA, I had got GTPL Hathway connection for my parents in Rajkot in a good faith for their service. I had got a plan of 100GB for 1 year and made payment through cheque amounting to Rs. 2560.00 in 2nd week of December, 2015.
                                  Yesterday when my parents were facing problem in using internet I checked the usage and it shows, the allotted limit is reached hence our internet is over. I tried contacting service provider with the same saying as my parents use internet over phone it is not possible to use this hefty volume in this short time. On checking usage online, there was few huge volume usage and I claimed to company to justify for the same. Since then I am trying to contact them over phone no executive comes to answer me. When I left mail for the same mentioning all the details they just replied saying kindly check usage online. We are cheated by service provider. My parents are back in India facing this problem and no one takes any accountability to help.
                                  Bringing my complain here I may get some resolution from GTPL Hathway.

                                      This is srikanth k, accnt no : 1515741, i have taken new connection on[protected] by making 3 months payment 3090 INR /-, account got deactivated on 1-2-2016 with the reason of payment has not been updated in their application.
                                      I had raised the request several times by calling customer care,

                                      Customer care services is completely useless, i was promised the issue will be resolved in 24 hours, but till now i have not got any improvement, i am really fedup with the service, i have been told they raised a request to Billing department and waiting for their response, i was listening this from last 3 working days,

                                      Badly need help this.

                                      Worst service by Hathway.
