I am a Hathway customer in Bangalore. Alright. I do not know how to start with the way Hathway is handling my data usage. I subscribed for 3 months plan of 30 gb with 50 mbps speed. To my surprise, speed came down to 200 kbps after 2 weeks. Why? Because as per their records, I had exceeded 30 gb limit. I do not download any movies or any software the consumes lotsa data. I only used the internet for browsing and for watching youtube videos which is also not so frequent. I do not understand, how the data usage details shows atleast 2 gb of data consumption every day. But still, believing that probably i would have consumed, I bought another 10 gb, since I could not work with the speed that i was provided. Now, it has been 2 days since I bought(bought on 14-1-16) another 10 gb. On 16-1-16, I checked the data usage details, it showed 1 gb of data consumption for 15-1-16. Today that is 17-1-16, again I checked and it says that my consumption of data for 15-1-16 as 5 gb!!!. I can never consume 5gb of data in one day!!! I am a Software Engineer and I do understand how the data consumption works and what download will consume too much of data. .I mean, how can hathway cheat customers like this????
