I have 2 set top boxes. I have paid (250 + 150) * 12 months in October 2015 to the cable operator for 1 year of service. Now the cable operator using the excuse of financial mis-management from the previous collector has raised the rates to 550 for 2 boxes retroactively and refuses to provide the service.

    Since 2 days we are calling to customer service for resolving our problem as we have recently connected to this broadband but they are giving very foolish reasons and not even trying to rectify it, now the girl name Shifa in consumer service ask us to wait for 1 more day to solve the problem. we are not stupid here to listen to there fake promises. i need my money refunded and i want to cancel my connection. such a worst company it is.

      Sir, My name is Aby Joy, Hathway account no is:1338385. I took this connection by hearing there high speed connection of 50 Mbps speed with 30 gb usage.The salesman convinced me that this is the best connection in bangalore and he took 3 month money from me and said n the beginning you have to take 3 month and after 3 month you can pay the one month rent.After taking the connection it worked fine for 1 St one month and the problem started.but I didn't mind and after 3 months I asked for 1 month subscription but they said they do not have any option of 1 month, again I have to pay 3 month rent.so I paid 3300 for 3 months on aug13 and after that sir I never use this connection for continuously one hour..if you check my call list last one month I spent almost[protected]Rs to call their customer care..if we call most of the times call won't reach to the executive but t will get disconnected..and if we get also they will put the call on hold and will say it will be rectified in 24 hrs..or the technician will visit my place..but nothing happened till date..So for last 1 month I never be able to use this connection.I work from home sir and because of this connection I never able to do my job and am in a position that I will loose my job..missed many conferences and client video conferences.I have been repeatedly suffering loss of Internet connection due to which I suffered heavy damages of work and income to me.Because of this poor connection I visited their local office and I found there is no one there to complaint, no managers.nothing.only this customer executives.so I asked them to terminate the connection and refund the money I paid.But they are telling they can't refund the money..means I have to sacrifice this for next 2 months..Someone please help me..this is a real case of cheating..please check my call log for proof..I wish no should go this mental torture I am suffering..

        I took this connection on May 14th, 2015 as per Hathways advertisement, I was promised high speed connection of 50 Mbps speed with 30 gb usage per month. The salesman convinced me that this is the best connection in Bangalore, took 3 month money in advance and said n the beginning you have to take 3 month and after 3 month you can pay the one month rent. After taking the connection it worked fine for only for 1st one month, thereafter there was frequent interruptions in the Internet connection, but somehow I managed. After initial 3 months I requested for 1 month subscription but i was informed by the billing section that they do not have any option of 1 month recharge, and again I had to pay 3 month rent, Rs 3400 on aug13 for the next 3 months. And since then there is absolutely no internet connection.Currently there is hardly 2 hours net connection/ day. Once I get the connection it hardly stays for 15 minutes.My initial resort was to obviously call Hathway customer care, but soon I realized it was all pure cheating. Executives sitting and handling calls at the customer care were totally unaware of any proceeding. They had no answers regarding the reason for no internet connection. My call used to be put on hold for hours and used to get disconnected. I was so desperate for the net connection that I have tried calling the customer care atleast 50 times/ day for last 50 days and I spend almost[protected]Rs ( I can attach my mobile log details for clarification). But till to date I was offered no solution for my grievances. Most of the times call won't reach the excutive but will get disconnected..and if connected they kept saying the problem will be rectified in 24 hrs/ technician will visit my place..but nothing happened till date.Even on my repeated request they refuse to connect my call to the manager in charge or higher authority. Soon I realized they were all empty promises chanted repeatedly by their customer care executives.I have also requested them to refund the amount and terminate the connection, but they denied to do that saying, it's against their COMPANY POLICY. I even made an attempt to go personally to their local office, and I was surprised at the situation there. There was no manager, no one to complaint or talk to. There was just one guy in that 'so called office' who was busy on youtube and even refused to answer me.Finally I somehow managed to connect with zonal in charge who promised my issues will be resolved but again the situation was the same and I had no internet connection.So for last 1 month I never be able to use this connection.I am so desperate because I work online from home and internet connection in inevitable for my job. That is the reason I chose Hathway because they had promised me high speed uninterrupted net connection.Because of faulty promises by Hathway, during last one month, there has been absolutely no net connection, I have missed many conferences, client video conferences. I Am suffering heavy damages and loss at work including monetary loss. Currently if this continues I am in a situation to loose my job. The mental torture I have been put through this one month, trying to contact Hathway customer care and find a solution to my problem has all been in vain and is still continuing. Since they have refused to terminate this connection I am not able to take another new net connection. I totally feel like a victim to hathways fraudulence. And still i can't find a way out. Kindly help me out

          I have taken 50 mbps internet connection from Hathway. My Id is 948103. For the last couple of months I am getting 1 mbps speed.In mid July I got message from Hathway stating that there is some upgrade happening with the server to improve their services. During this time there will be some issues with the internet speed.As per the message the so called upgrade was supposed to end in 15 days. It's close to 2 months now and still the issue with the speed exists. When I call the help desk they always answer that this is a known issue and will be rectified in few days but anyways we will send the details to server team. I have been hearing this for the last month. I have even dropped a mail to their higher management team ( not sure ) but nothing has happened. I am fed up with this useless service provider and want to take a legal action against them. Please advice

          Still nothng has changed. Just got a call from Hathway service where they told me to power off the modem and that's it. Nothing has been been after that. Hathway continues to dissapoint. To top it off I got call from Hathway billing team for extension. They have created notification for this but not for user's complaint. They just want the money but dont want to provide the service. Please refund my money for the month of Aug and Sept (Approx Rs. 2200) I do not want your services nor your false promises. I would suggest users to use any 2g connection any time over Hathway broadband.

            A/c # 1421576 TAKSHINAMURTHY AA Contact No: +91 [protected] Paid 3760 - 3-month advance payment. Internet did not work from the day 1. It has been 10 days since modem was installed. Not even one phone call from tech support. They are just closing the ticket without intimation. Did not get any calls for a refund. Nor they are willing to provide refund for internet that is not being used. Nodal officer could not be contacted it keeps ringing, tried during various business hours. No reply from support email [protected]@hathway.net. How will I get my money back. Who can control these people. Check screenshots of conversations and outage that I am facing. I will be happy if they return the money back.

              Ac. No. 1139557 Since last 15 days my internet connection is fluctuating continuously. I have called several times to the customer service and I have got no resolution to the issue. I have even personally mailed the nodal officer regarding my situation but to no avail. I have not received any kind of clarity from any one. I don't understand that when I have paid for the internet, am I not supposed to expect better service?? I have mailing the concerned authorities for extension of my service in which case they have always ignored my complaint. Hathway takes customers for granted. If this complaint reaches hathway, I assure you that after your service, I am going to terminate this internet and go for better one. Hope this complaint is read by hathway.

My account is inactive from last 10 days, in spite of paying the bill on time writing to billing department, nodal officers and appellate, with all the details, the issue still remains unresolved I have never experienced such lousy customer service, I have done a mistake of choosing Hathway internet, there is no concrete resolutions that you get from CSR guys and your emails are never reverted back with an answer. Worst experience ever

                Hi Team

                My account number is [protected]. On 31st august, I had made a payment of 499 through Lazypay and it was showing error and so I tried to make the payment again which showed error again.. One of the Hathway Support team (Vidyasagar) called me and told the payments not reflected, so it wont be charged and asked me to pay an amount of 335 again to activate the services. Trusted him that I will not be charged I paid the amount, but later I found I am charged for 499, 499 and then 335. I called him again the next day and he told, its reflecting now, but he confirmed he would process the refund so that it would reflect in my lazypay account in 4 to 5 days.. But it didnt happen and I am getting calls further from Lazypay to pay the outstanding amount. Meantime, I tried to raise 2 separate cases to Hathway, but both of them are closed stating it had been forwarded to billing team and would be processed the refund amount.

                I am not able to reach any proper response when tried to call Hathway team for refund.. Its frustrating with this pathetic response from Hathway..

                I need to get 2*499=998 rupees refunded to Lazypay account..

                  The below mail with reminders have been sent to the representative of the company on their declared e-mail ID and have received no replies and phone calls are also going unanswered REF : Installation address: 1830 sector 37, NOIDA: Card Nos.[protected] and [protected] Dear Madam, This is the second time in the year 2015 that I am getting in touch with you. Previously in Feb/March we had been in contact via phone and SMS. regarding poor signal which has been sorted out to 70% satisfaction as we believe that is all the capability of your team in NOIDA is. as every time we speak to the Hathaway office in NOIDA from where we get our signal we are informed that they are helpless as it is the regional H.O. has been informed and they are to look into and they are not doing so. Further no personnel from your technical team from the nodal office has ever visited the consumer end to ascertain the problems of the consumer - a very short sighted policy followed by Hathway During the week 30th August to 7th September there was poor or no signal and your NOIDA office was called at least 25 times and the answer was the same - "We are rectifying the fault" and finally when matters came to a head the signal was properly restored which broke down on 9th and they had to be called again. However the aim of writing this mail to you is to put on record the communication below. Several of the channels that have been part of your package over the past years have been discontinued primarily the Sun TV group of channels, Sony group and a few more with no intimation to the subscribers or any positive answers to subscribers when your team is questioned. The undersigned 3 weeks ago Contacted Mr. Rakesh whom you had informed me to be in touch in case o[censored]n-resolved problems ( Mobile No. [protected]) on the subject of discontinued channels he was to revert back but has not done so nor answered calls. Through my own sources I have come to know that the sun group of channels cannot be transmitted to NOIDA by you.any longer. Similarly the channel Fox Crime was removed from the list stating that this ha been de-listed for NOIDA in May 2015 You will note that there is a large community of people from Tamil Nadu in NOIDA who are paying for your services and your original package offered over the past nearly 10 years consist of these channels. BY THIS SORT OF SEGREGATION IT APPEARS THAT YOU ARE TARGETING A PARTICULAR COMMUNITY IN THE REGION So how come when payment has been collected channels are not being transmitted ? Also if services are being discontinued why are consumers not properly informed. What you are doing amounts to breach of contract of services assured against payment.                   as communicated to us through their letter dated 21.05.2015

                  Also, we would wish to inform you that as far as the channels of Sony are
                  concerned, the broadcaster namely MSM Media Distribution Private limited had
                  been demanding unreasonable hike for entering into subscription agreements
                  in violation of TRAI Regulations and thus it became unviable for us to
                  execute the agreements as it would have placed a huge burden to our esteemed
                  subscribers to whom we provide services.

                  We inform you further that during the midst of negotiations MSM Media
                  Distribution Private limited had issued notices for disconnection and
                  disconnected the channels of Sony channels effective 6.08.2015 and the
                  issues pertaining to the said areas are sub-judice before the Hon’ble TDSAT.


                  However, we are hopeful that the same shall be resolved soon.

                  Hope we have clarified our stand in the matter.

                  All said and done you may be justified as far as Fox Crime is concerned, however your argument on both the Sony and Sun Group channels hold no water.

                  When for the past nearly 10 years plus you have been transmitting all the channels covered by the Sun Group of channels how come all of a sudden just 2 months back you say that you will not be transmitting the same to noida.

                  ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS THAT WE HAVE BEEN WITH HATHWAY HAS BEEN FOR THE SOUTH CHANNELS AND IF YOU HAVE DISCONTINUED THE SAME THEN IT WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TATAMOUNTS TO BREACH OF CONTRACT AS YOU HAVE BEEN COLLECTING PAYMENT REGULARLY WITH OUT THE CLIENT BEING INFORMED OF THE CHANGES, AS YOUR NOIDA CENTER HAS INFORMED US THAT IT WAS A TEMPORARY SEVERANCE OF SERVICE.

                  Further ou were aware of the poor quality of signal transmitted by you in this area in March - May this year after rigorous followup by the undersigned that was an improvement for 2 months, now we note that slowly the signal strength bad in a number of channels and no matter how much your office is informed there has been not much improvement..
                  Attached please find pictures on what the signal quality is time and again on most channels

                    My account number is 1067173. Despite calling 10 times and writing to biling department, nodal officers and appellate, the basic issue of being issued a bill copy for the payment done stands unresolved. . Horrible. Every renewal, same issue. Tickets get closed without getting conformance by back end. Worst customer service ever.

                      I took hathway broadband 50 mbps connection 3 months back (consumer ID: 1350589). I have paid for 3 months however I have used only 2 months since I was out of city for a month. As per my plan I should get 50 Mbps speed ( I have not expected that speed because its just a marketing strategy) but I am not even getting 10mbps speed and most of the time no connection at all. If you use it for an hour next 2 hours there won't be any connection. With 2 months o[censored]sage I have called to the customer care 50+ times. The shameless agents repeatedly saying the same thing that "we apologise for the inconvinence and we will check and fix the issue. They are keep on saying that there is a problem but not fixing it. Every time I raise a complaint they are asking for 24 hours to fix the issue. I don't know whether they know how much time is a 24 hour mean.. They will not update the issue status. I paid them around 2700+ and extra call charges. Every call will take 10-15 rupees. There is no way to esclate the issue. Many times I have asked the agents to connect me with their manager. They are simply saying that the option is not available. To collect money they will come at the right time. But to fix the issues they won't get time. HATHWAY is simply looting money by projecting themselves as the best service providers... They could have spent money in fixing the issues rather than spending for advertisements and for the brand ambassadors.. If anyone of you know how to esclate the issue, please let me know

                        As I mention in earlier post Hathway will not take any action, they have not contacted me at all ?????

                        Now I am confuse who should I contact to get them on their commitment?

                          Hi i had taken an internet connection few days back they have disconnected it yesterday when i called them and asked about the problem they said me amount of Rs.3080/- is been the due amount and i said them that i have paid the amount hey said me it has been cheque payment and cheque has been bounced and for the kind info i told them that, I have not done cheque payment cause the agent told me cheque payment is not allowed and i gave the full hot cash of Rs.3080/- to the agent now they are not even bothering abt the complaint, I have wasted more than Rs.100/- on calls they have blocked my number and the call is not getting connected it jus keeps playing the music and disconnects.
                          Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                            I requested hathway broadband to change the plan. I did payment one day before my renewal date. They promised that it would be done in 24 hours. They simply deactivated my account and when ever i call customer care they always said "your modem will be changed today and account will activated by end of day". Same thing repeated for 3 days I am very much unhappy with this service. I paid to them but they did not provide any service to me. Not even called me to info when they are going to fix this problem. WORST SERVICE AND WORST RESPONSE TO THE CUSTOMERS.

                              I have been following up with Hathway customer care for my refund since June and still awaiting a response from them. I did get couple of calls stating that the request has been forwarded to the concerned team and ever since then no response. This is the worst service ever from any service provider, they just know how to get money from customers. I send an email everyday as follow-up but never received any response. Could anyone please suggest a way to get my money refunded.

                                I applied for Hathway Broadband, Sales Team asked for 3 Month advance for free router and due to some Issue they couldn't connect internet to my building and they told that they will Refund the Amount.Now 25 days are over and I have no Idea what action they have taken.Nobody is giving me the correct response, Most of the time sales team don't pick up the phone.Customer care just keep me in hold without informing me and just say we will get back to you. Today they told that my registered number is not there in there record and just kept me in hold for 20 min and some other person came and started talking to me with different Issue thinking me as a different customer.

                                This is my Account Number 1238768. I am still not getting any response from the customer Care or Executive. Executive just say that you will get your money .Today Customer support had told me to mail at this Email Id :[protected]@hathway.com but i couldn't able to send mails on this Id.                                     Don’t buy hatchway connection. Don’t pay advance to hathway, if you paid that’s it. you don’t require to them, pathetic customer care service. They won’t pick up already existed customer calls. They will pick up the calls the new customers immediately. This is scenario happen to me. Read this at least some people escape from hathway trapy cheap tricks. I brought internet for 3 months 2400 collected one executive said we will connect internet in one day. Later they didn’t came up to 3 days, not given connection. They gave wifi after getting internet connection. Problem started no internet, I called to customer care, usually they pick your call, I stayed up to 30Mins line later disconnected, after some trails they picked my call and told me technical issue in your area, this problem continued 3-4 days. Later I asked for refund they denied. Any way I used 3 Month by facing so many difficulties. Later I called to customer care service to continue for one month. I asked them if you have prepaid service I will continue otherwise please deactivate my account. Here Trap Started they activated postpaid service without my confirmation. I thought it was prepaid and paid 750Rs, after one month again I called customer care and told deactivate my connection, executive came and collected their devices given receipt to me. Now they are generating bill for every month even though am not using the internet. Again I called to customer care They said I used additional 12 Gb of data please pay 250Rs then your bill generations will automatically stopped, even I paid 250Rs. Now they generated 361Rs bill again. There is no use in closing internet connection they will suck you for every month. Once you brought internet connection from them that’s it you cannot escape from hathway. They are like blood suckers they will generates bill without using internet. Best suckers Award goes to Hathway guys.

                                      My name is vivek I have been avail the services of Hathway which they gave 3+1 offer which is 3 months and then month offer I have recipient for that which they gave, they have raised a token the number is 14008505 for reference but the token is raised on 5th of September and the token remains open, I have been spoken to their executive, stating their names Mr Nikil, Mr . Rakesh, and soo onn all have one answer is with in three hours problem is going to slove and for god sake those three hours won't come at all . And strange thing is when I call to customer care they said my account has been suspend and I am tranfering call to billing department but some executive lefts that and says I am not from billing, so people imagine how Hathway is poor on their own they don't now to speak to customer and not even to slove problem, Guys for ur refrence I am giving the account number and recipent number again My .Ac No is 1257931 Recipient number is 80118153 Ac holder name is CH vivek anand Attaching proof for refrnece Regards Vivek

                                        I had complained regarding my speed of internet and connectivity of my internet connection but after 4 days no one came to my office i had complained 4-September -2015 and no one came till 8 September 2015 and customer executive had not given proper answer to me and he cut call so i again call to hathway and asked that Customer Executive name but no one said whos that person
