Dear team, Account:- 862284 My hathway connection was suppose to be renew on 21-Aug-2015, as per process i opened hathway.com and gone to login into my account. But, to my surprise i was getting error "user ID entered has been expired". So, i thought it might be some error, so i gone for forgot pasword recieved a new password.when i entered that again the same problem were coming. On[protected], So i called the most pathetic customer service centre on earth to tell my problem, they said its account related problem so we cannot help call customer care in morning and press 2. On[protected], i called up customer care and press 2 to talk with account people.to my utter surprise they said "sir, its a technical problem call customer service and press 1". I have done that, and almost explaining all the details again and again that executive told me to put a mail to surat.[protected]@hathway.net . I have send mail to above mentioned id with the screenshot of problem. I received a bounce mail stating quota of the mail has been exceeded. I was helpless at that time, and was very frustrated. On[protected], in the morning i again put a mail to mentioned email id, and it was through. I received a reply, stating thank you for your mail our executive will contact me. I received a call from executive, i explained him about all problem he said, he will get back to me after resolution and he never turned back. I waited, and called customer care they said your account is de-activated due to non-payment .i said i want to activate it but, that error is coming, he said helpdesk people will call me. On[protected], i again put a mail to surat helpdesk with cc nodal officer and one of the director of company Mr.Dulal Banerjee To my surprise, my mail got bounce from all email id. Again i send the mail to same, recipient and it was throught. On[protected], problem was still there. I called there bombay customer care, they said they cant do anything as it is related to surat so i have to contact surat office only. I had made payment to hathway via quickpay option for Rs.2800, and asked them to renew it. Customer care, executive said its related to account department call them tomarrow in the morning. On[protected], i callled customer care executive to account department, they said i have made 41Rs less payment. So, i have made that payment then and there. I have called them and requested to activate my account.she said "sir, your connection is renewed and now activated" When i came home in the night after my office, to find out that my connection is still not working. My all problem stand unclear till now:- 1) user id entered expired 2) connection not working And to my surprise, i have put Mr.Dulal banerjee in my all mail communication to escalate the matter so that i can get resolution from them. But, i think Mr.banerjee is incapable to hold the position to solve this problem of there customer from there team. I hope hathway executive, customer care will be capable to handle this. Regards,
I want a new connection of Internet for that I had called to your customer care no.([protected]) and given full details on 25th Aug'15 and they provided me reference no. 220480 and told that there agent will call me. But none of the call came form your side, even I had call again and again (on 26th. 27th & 30th Aug'15) to the customer care and they only tell me that you will get a call within 24 hrs. Definitely.
I really fed up off from this, as I am getting very bad service from your side before getting me connection than what will happen after connection.

    Here is the Account No: 1388563 for Internet connection.

    Recently I shifted from Act(formerly Beambroad) to Hathway Broadband. Though I was quite satisfied with with Act for more than 2 years I shifted to Hathway becuase they promised to provide more than double the speed Act provides that to for the same price.

    But the fact is the speed is such worst that I some times get *20 TIMES LESSER* what they promised and the worst thing I get frequent disconnections at least once in a minute. sometime. Since I work from frequent disconnection will not work for me.

    When I initially raised the issue about the speed and connectivity the technician turned just saw the problems and left. No resolution is being taken.

    Though frequently following even with Nodal office I see the ticket are getting closed with out any resolution...

    I paid for 3 months advance in which installation is free along with the equipment.
    Its' been exactly 1 month since I have taken the new connection.
    Out of 30 days 20 days internet is not working.
    I have been sending emails but no replies are coming back.
    Similarly on phone I have been asking for the senior manager but they haven't been able to connect me to them even after 10-15 requests / complaints.
    Internet connection speeds are at times coming at 2 -5 mpbs even after promise speed of minimum 35 MBPS.
    Even if it's connected at 35 MBPS still the browsing speed is the same as th earlier ones.
    They are cheating thats for sure.
    Sending mails and reaching Hathway Customer care is useless and just posted the complaint here got a call from Nodal officer
    assuring things will be resolved. But thats turning out to be false assurance nothing is getting changed both the issue still persist

    Now how should we should address this ? Its look like its not just me even others are facing the same issue. And for others who wanted use this connection for doing WFH then its **BIG NO**

    Reporting the complaint here did REALLY help as repeatedly calling the customer care was of no use.

    But I moved on i.e reverted back to ACT..

    I cannot comment whether Hathway can provide a consistent service as other leaders such as ACT or Airtel. But I am pretty sure that ACT can provide a good service..

    Its a same problem with me to, for 50mbps plan I get less then 1 mbps :(.

    RE: Hathway Internet connection gets Disconnected frequently

    I have a broadband Internet connection with hathway. The connection is really horrible. The Internet gets disconnected repeatedly . Ihave complained it many times but it is of no use.

    The qtly.payment was mad on offer that 15 days extra will be given for my connection .That is 15 days extra for 3 months payment.But now the co.is not providing the extra 15 days offered.Making false commitment.

      Hi its kapil and just wanna ask only one thing that I customer of Hathaway network and I am using digital cable TV of Hathaway but now a days I am facing one problem. Actually here is one problem is going on and problem is Sony set max and soney six are not coming in my Hathaway digital TV I told to my cable operator but he is saying that I subscribed those channel but never the less those channel are not coming.         Hathway is taking its clients for a ride, as always. I have paid for the "Vajra" (Package that promises to provide all TV channels) pack of Hathway for a full year. We have not been getting SONY, Headlines Today, Aaj Tak, Movies Ok, etc channels for over a week. Hathway disconnects subscriber's connection for non payment of subscription fee, they do not give any grace time for payment. When such is their attitude why should its client tolerate them when they fail to provide channels they had assured. The issues Hathway may have with various TV channels and their distributors is not client's concern. Hathway collects annual subscription in advance from its clients promising channels and while the subscription is on, it disconnects some channels and demands additional amount from its clients stating that they have converted those particular channels to "al-carte". This appears to be exploiting its consumers. This is not the first time that Hathway has failed to provide promised service to its clients, this happens often.

          I have accoynt no 1201226. this is the qorst servuxe proveder for internet. during 30 days almost 15 days my internet is not working. after calling many times with customer care they simply said modem not working, engineera qill visiat after 2 days. they dnt have good service. plz i[censored] r looking for internet service plz dnt go with hathway.

            More than over a week now we have not been able to see the Sony channel and the only show that we really watch twice in a week is also not available to us. I don't understand that as a customer what rights do i have and feel extremely helpless.

              I am really fed up with Hathway Cable services as they keep blocking the channels like sony six, star sports, aaj tak and English movies without any prior notice.
              They charge approx. 300 and every time any match or movie is broadcast on these channels, they tell us that particular channel is removed from your pack and you have to pay extra Rs 30 to Rs 50 per channel each month. This is really pathetic.
              They are fooling their customers as no other cable provider does the same. I want my complaint to be heard and acted upon as soon as possible because this time I am in no mood of listening explanations from Hathway and will make more serious complaints at higher levels.

                  My account number 1062694. I have talked to customer care regarding the update of broadband service and they have asked to make a payment and services will be upgraded and modem will be replaced and configured within 3 working days. As I have specifically told them to I need connection upgrade as soon as possible and they have promised to install and upgrade the connection in 3 working days. I have made the payment on 18th Aug 2015. and on 20th Aug a person called me from hathway (+91 [protected]) it was unfortunate that i was not available. I hae called back that person and asked to come back again but he refuses to come on same day and communicated as he will be coming by 21th Aug by 11:00 AM.. I have tried to reach him couple of time he did not attend my calls. I called the customer care and asked them to update on this. They reverted back as installation will be done by 21th Aug evening but I have not received any of the calls. Again when I called to hathway customer service the executive said it will take 7 working days. when I asked executive to transfer my call to manager, the person cut my line. I have opted the hathway service for only one reason because they promised the activation of service in 3 working days and now they are saying 7 working days(is a company policy). If you can not driver on time then company have to inform us before we opt the service or they have to be clear with there policy . I am loosing out lot of my work and effort because the fake service from hathway. This is not tolerated. Can any one please help me on this ?

                    Hi I am using Hathway broadband since last 10 months user id : vkarora. I am from vadodara. I get allotment of 25 GB every month and due to some reason i always run out of my allotment even tho i don't have much usage. An awful connection, I won't recommend this to anyone, every time i call for a complain they reply me u are out o[censored]r allotment and the speed drops now onwards, Worst things happen in this network. i was using D2v earlier and was not a good decision to switch to Hathway I've lasted 11 month with just 125 GB in D2V with the same usage i am having now. don't know why i run out of allotment every month.

                    The worst internet connection im experiencing . really worse than any . speed just for showing . i never get 50 mbps . max is 38 -40 .that too only for speed test bluff.. no consistency atall. And iam always out of alloted gb . really a bluff game .

                        Hathway has blocked Sony six without any notice to customers since start of Sl vs Ind cricket series even after contacting customer care which is pathetic and they tell it will resolved by evening. But its already 10 days but no solution better to shift to some other cable provider and this my card number.[protected]

                            Hathway has blocked all Sony channels since past 1 week. They have collected rent for all the channels one year in advance. But not providing the service, Please let us know how to get the money back. They say that Sony have increased the tarif[censored]nreasonably once the Ind/Sl cricket match started. But Sony claims that Hathway has not paid the previous dues. But finally the customer like us is facing a loss because of these cheap minded big companies. What is the solution other than going to another cheap minded company which will cheat us in some other way.

                              I'm a Hathway subscriber from Bismillah Nagar, Bangalore. All the Sony channels have been discontinued without any notification 7 days ago. Cable operator keeps telling that this is because of software download issues and soon these channels will be available. Please let us know the truth. Annies Z

                                From last 15 days we are not receiving Sony and Sab tv although we have paid a yearly subscription for the same.Hathway customer support unable to explain what is happening and why channels are missing and even not committal on when it will come back.Can any body help in understanding what is the reason for sudden disruption

A/c no:1397333 Name:Snehashish S I have taken the connection on[protected] & paid the amount for 3 months. Since the 1st day, I have been facing the speed inconsistency & slower download speeds. I have been regularly reporting with the screenshots to the customer service. There is a serious issue going on & why dont you care?Do i need to call the customer service twice a day & report slower speed. How many emails do i need to send a email to nodal officer & applellate desk? I have sent an email to Nodal officer & Appellate Desk as i am not satisfied with the customer service. I have no response/solution from the Nodal officer & Appellate Desk. What are they there for? Is this the way you treat your customers? From the 1st day since i have opted for hathway, I have been complaining about the speed on an average of 2/per day. Why cant hathway fix this permanently?? I am very much dissatisfied with the hathway & the appelate desk of hathway. I request you to please provide my money back urgently.Im tired of your fake promises & resolution You lodge a complaint, You will close the complaints without any resolution?? What are we there for??I I demand hathway to provide my money back

They are cheating their customer by keep removing channels from their platform first Sports, then English movies, then English Entertainment and now their focus is on Hindi entertainment.

                                    This happens every time there is a major tournament going on. During the World Cup they blocked the Star Tv network and now Sony. This is ridiculous. Very poor service. Hope someone looks into this soon.
                                    this is all due to bad policies by government ...Due to setup box local operator is unable to change the provider which is easily done in previous scenario...Either the setup box converted into universal just like mobile phone portability or make setupbox optinal
                                    No transperency in the amount paid monthly... there should be payment breakdown structure...
                                    if they are removing some channels as they are costly then same should be benefited to customer by reducing monthly pack.

                                      Hi, I have taken hathway connection two weeks since then i m facing issue of internet connection unstablity. Have called customer care hundreds of times but issue is not resolved. I am fed up of calling them and talking to them sitting over there. They have eaten my money as they have taken advance of three months. For last two days i have taked to my family as much i have called their customer care. They are just cheaters.
