Dear Sir, Complaint Nos : 14486461, 14499972, 14504668, 14514073 This is to bring your attention reg. the above mentioned Complaint Nos. these Complaints were recorded for last three days. Initially the Complaints was done for no internet connection.Although after one day I was able to connect to the Internet but receiving a speed of around 9.35 MBPS whereas my Scope is 50 MBPS. Since last two days I had been complaining reg the Speed Issue but Hathway is unable to resolve the issue. Unfortunately every morning I am getting an SMS saying that the Issue has been resolved but I am not getting the proper speed. Also I am unable to get connected over phone to your Customer service No.[protected], which says busy all the time. Whenever I could able to connect the Customer Service Executive tells that the Issue would be resolved by next day morning. This has become a never ending issue. I need a solution for this.     I have registered the complaint to the customer care around 11 PM and it is more than 5-6 hours and no body has either called us or contacted us to resolve the issue. I am continuously facing the same kind of issue and same kind of bad customer service since we have taken the connection on 11th Sept. 2015. We have faced the problem more than 8-10 times in one month. We have taken the 1 Mbps plan but we never experienced the same.There is always the speed issue and we have complained the same but no body has replied. Please look in to the issue and explain how is this worth to continue the services of Hathway. My Connection number is 1429667. Need Refund #Wortservice #CEOhathway

      I have a problem regarding my data connection of ac 1173424 for the past 15 days and since you are not able to provide me the connection continuously, I ask for refund. I no longer wish to receive your services. It is to put under your kind notice that I am a working single woman who can't sit to write unlimited emails to your held desk everyday or call your customer care which make us wait for 15 to 20min. I have lot of things to worry about and I can't be worried about such a trivial matter as an Internet connection.

        I subscribed to Hathway Broadband in December 2014, on the 50 MBps 50 GB plan- payable for three months at a time. While I have never been exceptionally happy with the speed and the service as a whole, I stuck with Hathway for the sake of convenience. However, on 13-Oct-2015, I contacted Customer Care and logged a request for a transfer of the connection from Indiranagar to Kalyan Nagar. I was told that the feasibility of the transfer would be assessed and I would receive a response within 2-3 working days. I was also informed by Customer Care Executive Darshan, that in case a transfer was not possible, the connection would be terminated and I would receive a full refund for the remaining 2 months of my subscription, which is totally paid for till December 14, 2015. Upon receiving no response from Hathway after 3 working days, I myself called Customer Care once again and was informed that a transfer to Kalyan Nagar is not feasible and hence the connection would be terminated at my convenience. When I asked to discuss about the matter of the refund, I was bluntly informed that since mine was a prepaid connection, the subscription amount for the remaining two months will NOT be refunded to me. When I requested to escalate the matter to a higher authority, the female Customer Care Executive first refused outright to do the same, and upon my further insistence told me that her Supervisor/Manager had not come to office yet and hence this was not possible (this was at 11 am in the morning). I proceeded to ask for a Complaint Number and also requested the Executive to tell me her name for the sake of some accountability; given the unscrupulous and unprincipled handling of this matter so far. Upon this demand, the lady disconnected the call immediately without any response. I made numerous attempts to call back to her extension number, and each time the call was either directly cut, or the call was received and then disconnected. When I called the her number from another phone, the call was answered by a lady called Vinodhini and she claimed that she had never spoken to me previously or disconnected my calls. By this point I was furious, and the lack responsiveness, and moreover ethics, was just intolerable. This is an open request for anyone who can provide me counsel and support to please come forward. Hathway owes me nearly Rs.3000 for the unavailed subscription of two months that I paid for. More importantly, nobody deserves to suffer at the hands of a fraudulent and corrupt organization like Hathway. I appreciate any inputs on my case. Thank you.

          We have suffering from the hopelss service of internet by hathway. They only provide the complaint no. Which are fake also provide the false inforamtion on telephone. When ever we called tge customercare they only said that your internet start tomorrow next half... 15 days out of month internet not working... Even they provide the prepaid serive.

            My account number is 852160 and I'm not getting internet for past 1 week. Since I work from home, internet is essential for me. I have complaint multiple times to their customer center and prioritized the ticket numerous times but they have still not resolved the issue. Also, I have taken 50 mbps line and I dont even get 10 mbps. I have complaint the same multiple times. If you cannot resolve the issue, please refund my money because I have paid 6 month advance so that I can switch to another carrier.

              I had renewed the subscription on 13.10.2015 by making an online payment but the service is not yet activated. When called at the customer care they asked us to visit the branch. If the payment is to be done at the branch then why the option for online recharge is provided at all. After making continuous calls still the service is not activated. If the service is not activated by today we are going to discontinue the service.

                I had been continuously calling with regards to the unavailability of internet since last 10days. Everytime I get is an eta of 24hrs and a resolved ticket without actually resolving it. This way of providing service and customer support is extremely frustrating. Neither the issue gets fixed nor do anyone transfer my call to escalation team. Looking at your twitter page and on Hathway forum, seems like most of your customers are deprived of the service that you claimed to provide. If I may suggest you should just accept your failure and shut down the company, because incompetency does not last. PS: account number: 1442611

                  Hathway broadband Acc number - 1223354 On September 19th I called up hathway broadband customer service, as my internet connection was not working & I was told that the issue will be fixed within 24 hours .On 20th of September after 24 hours I called again as I my issued was not fixed. I was informed that it will be fixed before 10.00 am next day. Again on 21st I called & I was given a different time frame. My service was back only on 23rd night but with frequent disconnection One minute my connection will be working & next minute it will be disconnected. I kept on calling hathway customer service & they kept on giving different time frames. Each time, I raised a complaint, I ticket was logged in & it was closed within 24 hours without contacting me to check whether the issue is fixed, On September 30th again the connection was completely gone & it was not back till October 2nd t.i called again asked for the services to be disconnected & was later contacted by some one who assured me that the issue will be fixed permanently . I also wrote to the nodal officer for hathway broadband services in Bangalore on 2nd of October & received an auto generated mail informing that my complaint has been forwarded to the concerned team & I will be contacted by some one from that team but no one till date has contacted me about the same. My service was working alright on October 3rd & I was suppose make a payment for the next on the same date. So I made a payment on 3rd of October for next month. On October 4th I realised that I speed which was suppose to be up to 50Mbps was at 0.48 Mbps. I called on the same date gain raised a complaint & was given a 24 hour time frame. I called in again on 0ctober 8th as issue was still not resolved but the ticket I raised was again closed without fixing my issue. Another ticket was raised but my issue was not fixed. So I called gain on October 11th asking for my services to be terminated & asking for a refund on monthly payment I made on 0ctober 3rd & also for the refund on security charges paid upfront when I took the connection. I spoke to a supervisor who said they will try & fix my issue, if not will go ahead with the termination request. I asked for a reference number for my disconnection request & was told that can only give a complaint number for my speed issue & if it is not fixed then they will go ahead with the termination request. I spoke with two people on the same day & asked them to leave notes about my termination request. On 12th of October I got a call from hathway technical support about my speed issue & as I was outside I requested them to either call me back on the next day or to just go ahead & terminate my services. The guy promised me that he will call me back on 13th of October to check about my speed issue . Today I got a text on my phone informing that ticket has been closed, So I contacted customer service again & was informed that the ticket has been closed & there is no notes on my account about my termination request. I tried calling the nodal officer at least 25 times but the number is always engaged. The hathway customer service reps doesn't give out their ID number to there is hardly anyway to find out who exactly I spoke to each time. Since September 19th I have logged in around 20 complaints & every single ticket has been closed without fixing my issue or contacting me.I hav spend more than 400 bucks in the last 25 days just for calling hathway customer service. Every time when I have requested for a supervisor I have been put on hold for more than 12 mins & few times the call got disconnected after being on hold for 10 or 12 mins.I just don't know what else I need to do & I was totally upset frustrated with the pathetic service that I have been offered.I have recorded a few conversation that I have had with the customer service people & I also have a few ticket numbers that I have logged in. I want my services to terminated & get a refund or my connection issue to be fixed permanently .please advise me what I need to do or whom I need to contact to register a complaint against this. These are few on the tickets numbers that I have with me. 14263012/ 14333912/ 14346816/ 14330276/ 14377614/ 14432199/ 14475151/ 14467335 / & these are ticket numbers that I have raised since 25 of September.                     We are not getting cable connection for past 2 weeks. I have contacted the customer care many times. Everytime i call they ll tell they have have taken a compliant and technician will visit in next 24 hours.. Local operator came on[protected] and told that cable wires are broken and it has to be replaced. He said he ll replace it. He gave me his number and said he ll come and fix it. But he never picks his mobile number and doesnt answer to his msgs. I called customer care and one answer they give me everytime s pls try to speak to your cvable operator. But when i tell them he s noy picking calls i m told that technician will come and who till now have not turned up.
                    I have spoken to floor supervisor Mr Charles yesterday and he gave me false committment. Today[protected] at 12 i spoke to senior agen Ms Shalini and as per her committment by today it will be rectified.. When ?What time ? She does know?

                      I am a Hathway broadband customer for almost 2 years now. The broadband services were working okay till June 2015. But after that there have been intermittent issue when the internet just stopped working and I had to call them up to get it fixed and then in few hours or next day it starts working. In the last 15 days the issue has become worse, and the internet just stops working everyday. In last 2 weeks I had made around 50 calls to their customer care number to get the issue fixed. I have also spoken with multiple supervisors from Hathway to make them aware about my recurring issue, and each of the customer care executive and the supervisor have promised me that the issue will not happen again. But as I anticipated the issue happens the very next day and sometimes on the same day. They simply lie to me every time. To simply say they are not able to provide the services at all. So I requested them to terminate the connection and refund my 2 months pending amount that I have paid to them. But they say that they can not refund the money because it's a pre-paid connection. How can they expect a customer to continue with such pathetic services.                         My Name:Jonnakuti.V.V.S.S.Bhaskar Hathway Account no:1340451 Mobile : [protected].On 30th June, 2015 hathway people have disconnected my connection and taken back the Modem which they have installed. During installation hathway people have said to me that if I go for one year connectivity by paying Rs.12, 358 I would get 2months free connectivity and WiFi router. I said them that I do not require WiFi router as I already have one earlier. So they offered me 3months free connectivity as I have not opted for WiFi router. During disconnection, I have returned modem which was given to me during installation. For refund i am continously following it up through mails, calls to their customer service since July 1st but till date no update from them. When I went to thier office on 5th October, 2015 they have given me a cheque of Rs 7, 700 and said I have been charged 1, 200 for 38 days & rest 3, 500 for installation charges it seems. They said it as free during installation and now they are saying if i would have continued the service installation would have been free. How ridiculous these hathway team is without a service how i would continue the connectivity. i am paying for 50mbps & getting 5mbps and they expect me to be happy and continue their service.

                          Not able to use internet services since 6 days of expiration of last subscription while i paid the subscription renewal fee 6 days in advance.
                          First they use to call every day for renewal of the services and told the plan needs to be upgraded so pay some more, i did that. Then they told it would take 2 days to replace the modem, it took 5 days and around 50 calls to get modem replaced and since then around 50 more calls and 6 days now without internet. I am not able to login and use the services. Every time i am redirected to technical which either not respond or asks me to rest password and try again which never worked. I am every day assured that someone would visit or give me a call back but none actually happens.
                          yesterday i called in again and asked for refund which the C C Executive said so in-realistically that he will arrange a call back from billing department similar to what they assured for call back earlier none again happened. The worst thing is there is no nodal officer assigned for Bangalore division.


                          Please look into this. I guess i am not only the one who is suffering.

                          They tried to reset the password which did not worked. They forwarded the call to other department who never responded. They promised the resolution in 24 hours but its 5 days now and no resolution. No one emailed back but just the auto generated response, which is never looked up. THIS IS NOT RESOLVED

                            Dear Team, I am K. Tirumal Reddy, availing Hathway broadband internet services, with Customer Id: 1286314. Hathway has promised me 3 months + 1 month offer to me before my renewal, once i renewed my account they had deactivated after 3 months i.e., on[protected] although i had intimated them that i belongs to 3+1 offer on[protected] itself. From then repeatedly i am requesting them to re-activate my account but they are telling different...

                              Hi, This mail is to notify you that, i am having frequent internet down issue. Frequency of facing internet down issue is almost twice a week and i am facing it since last 3 months. Once internet goes down your engineer take almost 15+ hrs to get it back. This is very frustrating to have internet down for 15+ hours. Because of this I am losing faith on your capability to provide 24x7 internet connection. Also even after paying advance amount for 4 months I am having at least 20 – 25 days down time in 4 month. Request you to look into this issue immediately or else provide refund.                                   Hathway internet goes down very frequently. In a month, it disconnects for 10 days. Seeking customer service's help also doesn't solve the problem. I'm planning to disconnect my Hathway internet connection. I've heard others also complaining about hathway and switching to some other service. I'd advice people to avoid using Hathway service.

                                    Hi There, Please consider this humble request of mine and take proper action. I am hoping I can find some resolution from you guys as I feel very helpless by the way hathway treats its customers. I got my Internet connection for 2mbps renewed on June 30 2015 as shown in the attachment. As mentioned on the receipt, I paid an amount of 1650 for 3+1 offer which means the connection lasts till October 30 2015, however, the connection was deactivated on September 30, 2015. I called up the customer care and informed them of the situation and told them I deserve 1 more months of service. They requested for the bill copy which I sent, customer service agent promised that my internet would be re-activated within 3 business days. It has been 9 days now and the problem still remains unfixed. In addition to it, I received a call from the billing team by an agent named Pavan on October 6th 7PM stating they will fix the problem in 24 hours, I emphasized him the urgency of the connection to be reactivated and the problem I am facing, I tried to be really polite, to which he promised he will get it fixed in 24 hours. To my surprise at 7.20 PM I received a message stating my complaint ticket has been closed, I can understand they have their TAT to be met so I did not react. Today is 9th and I have neither heard back from them nor do they respond to my petition. I am tired of calling the customer care again and again while they respond saying it should be taken care of billing team and not us. Now I have again raised a new ticket to have the problem fixed, I sent multiple emails to the nodal team even mentioning I would be forced to lodge a complaint in the consumer forum, yet they are reluctant in responding. I need answers for the below questions. 1. Why was my connection deactivated so reluctantly while I still had 1 month of service. 2. When I notify about the problem, why does it take 3 days just to re-activate the connection. 3. When I call up the customer support why do they not fell responsible and why do they try to escape saying its billing team problem, why can’t they get me connected to speak to billing team. 4. Why does the agent Pavan give me false commitment of resolving the issue in 24 hours and doesn’t respond at all? 5. Why was the ticket closed without the problem being closed? If I am not getting answers for the below questions I will reach out to consumer court as this is not the first time I am being troubled by Hathway, this happens again and again. I am an LLB student and very well know how to proceed legally. I am not sure how this Complaint Board works but please please please help me if you guys can.                                       Hi, I've taken a HD set top box(no.:[protected] from Pratik Telelinks in Jp Nagar 7th phase in April, 2015. Since then I have used for only first two months. A guy named Sanjeev(Ph: [protected]) is the owner and I have called him like 100 times for renewal. Those people never come to collect payment and over that even if I go to their shop and ask, he says he will send someone but nobody does. I confronted him yestd and he said I have not paid 1 month bill so he is not giving me service. First of all they activate the HD set up box only if we pay the amt. and it gets disconnected automatically after 30 days. I dunno how can i use it when it is disconnected. He even saw in his records that I have used for only 2 months. Now its more than 5 months and even after following up several times i still have no cable. He is so arrogant and money minded. I dont know what to do with the set top box. He thinks he is the only service provider of Hathway in that area so doesn give a about any customers. Kindly do something about it.
