This is regarding Hathway broadband services poor technical and support system.
We applied for a new connection on 7th july 2015 and it was activated on 8th july. We paid 3077/- Receipt no-7958 as advance payment for three months vide cheque number 000262 Andhra Bank dated 7/7/2015. The connection was activated on 8th July 2015.The experience for the few days was good, but we started facing frequent disconnection problem in the services after a week.
Whenever the Hathway broadband was not working we switched over to MTNL connection, so we didn’t took the fault seriously. Previously we were using MTNL Broadband, which is not discontinued till date due to there billing cycle issue.
But the Hathway services is disconnected since Friday 24th july. Repeated complaint were made on saturday, but services were not resumed. Sunday was our holiday, on Monday again complaints was made, complaint no[protected], 4hr time was sought to rectify the problem, but nothing happend. Till now, no body from their technical team called us or visited to get the services resumed. Repeated calls to customer care didn't helped. Mails was sent to their Nodal officer also but get no response. Complaint through website is also given regarding the same, but all efforts goes in vain.
We are suffering the trauma for the last 5 days without internet. The biggest trauma is that no body from the technical or support team tried even to contact us regarding the issue. The officials are sleeping. Our MTNL connection will be discontinued after 30th july, . If it is not done we will have to continue with MTNL, so we request your goodself to either resume it by today or get it permanently disconnected and refund the advance amount collected.

This is the poorest services we have faced that despite so many calls, mails and reminders, Hathway is least bothered to hear the complaints. The consumers are charged in advance and they are left with no option. We want to discontinue the services and want refund.

This is to inform to the would be users of Hathway broad band services about the pathetic condition of their customer support and technical team. Despite so many reminders and calls, there is no solution. Payments for 3 months is charged in advance and if you are not satisfied they keep on saying that issue will be resolved soon. Once complaint is lodged, the next day it will be closed, without any resolution. They are also not disclosing their refund policy. As per the communication held with one of the executive it was told that modem and Wi Fi device is required to be submitted, but payment is not refunded for prepaid plans.
These complaints are dropped and discussed on this platform to divert the attention of the management of the company about the poor technical assistance given to the customers. Lack of expertise to handle customers. The behaviour of the customer care is not helpful. They are rude and arrogant.
