Our Hathway connection no. is 1414213 (GTB Nagar Area Delhi). Our experience is their connection is working fine, but only till the time, any fault develops. Their Customer Service deptt. is highly INEFFICIENT. Either they flooded with filed complaints OR are callous in nature. For that the customer complaints are not being resolved, despite of their tall claims, that complaints are to be closed, within 04 working hours of lodging. As was promised to us while offering this connection. The Complaint lodged with them are being closed without addressing / resolving and on inquiring with call center, they do have any answer to it. We had very high thoughts about Hathway while subscribing to their broadband services, for being privately managed organization. Earlier we had problems with MTNL broadband so we shifted to Hathway. But here again the situation is the same. We are struggling to get our connection set right, but all our complaints are falling on deaf years. More so, no grievance escalation numbers are given and customer are left at the mercy of call center executive, who do nothing but to re register you complaint. We have one word for Hathway Customer Complaint Redressal system "PATHETIC". My advise to all new prospective buyers, think twice about before you opt for Hathway, for simple one reason "Service", which is supposed to be the life line of any system. God may forgive if any one else may also fallen in the same situation.

    My internet is not working since a week and i have already complained five to six times to the company but they are not sending any person to fix it..each time i call they say they will send techinicia today but no one comes.       1.interrupted network 2.false promises by executives 3.no technical assistance 8-9 Complaints have been lodged with hathway cable & datacom limited since 26/08/2015 for account no.238896. However, no response has been received from the customer care or responsible authority. complaint no. are: 13894351, 13917133 13935641 13950466 13971863 13982671 14032350 Without redressing these complaints I receive a message saying the complaint has been closed. I would like to resolve the complaint at the earliest with recovery of loss suffered by us.

        I am Hathway broadband customer[protected], Account Name:- "Himanshu Jain". I am facing the internet speed and connectivity problem since last one month, and still I didn't received any solution for this problem, I filed complaint at customer care so many times, but all time they close the complain next morning without resolving the problem and they never gave me appropriate solution. Internet speed is like sometimes, I can't even unable to open any webpage, I didn't expected this from Hathway with the speed of 50MB/S. I am seriously not little bit happy with this service, even I am planning the change the Internet service provider. Still when today I called customer care about speed problem, they told me that 4 more days will take to resolve this issue, I mean what' wrong with it, always they use to say same like this, Initially when I called first time around on 20th July they told me that max till 5th august this problem will get resolved. Ms. Swapna Salvi is a nodal officer, I have informed and sent am email also to her but still no any proper response, and they still charging for this worst service, They never respond accurately that when this problem get resolved, they always use to say that in next 4 to 5 days it will get resolved but it is not.         I am also A unsatisfied customer of Hathway. The speed I used to get 50 Mbps (5MB/sec) download and 5Mbps upload (0.5 MB/sec). Its the best speed i have received till date. I dont understand why the customer care is not serious about the issue faced by the customer. I had continuous disconnection from last 7th till 12 th sep. I wrote mails to customer care / nodal officer.
        The worst part is the customer care call reply, they will say, " yes sir we can see there is problem in connection wait for 4 hrs." Hathway 4 hrs took real world 124 hrs to solve the problem. Any ways As I have prepaid connection I wont be able to do anything.

        Still Its provides amazing speed. I downloaded 15 GB game in 2 Hrs.

        This is my request to Hathway Owner Please seriously you need to change the staff quickly. Please Do some training programs for the CC executives as well as your technicians.

          The broadband connection is down for most of the times in a month. From the past 2 months( July, August and the current month of September), My Hathaway connection has not provided the promised speed and connectivity, that is 50 MBPS browsing speed. This has affected my purpose of viewing on-line courses as the videos don not buffer. Also the network was down for 9 days in the month of July and the customer care provided no help. The download speed even at the start of the month is not more than 200 kBPS.

            Respected Sir/ Madam, This is regarding my broadband connection taken from Hathway Broadband Service in April 2015. My connection ID is 1186775. I have paid them in full for the full year, starting from April 2015. However since day one I am facing continuous trouble in the form of: 1. Frequent disconnections: There are 25 documented complaints which I have raised so far since April 2015 for non working broadband service. Everytime they just do temporary patch work/ repairs, and within few hours/ few days the broadband once again stop working. 2. Slow speed: I was promised 5mbps speed as part of my contract, however the speed keeps on fluctuating to lower levels. When I complained, the Hathway customer care executive disconnected my call. Due to the given reasons, it's becoming extremely frustrating using Hathway broadband service as the entire work hangs up in middle due to sudden broadband disconnections/ interruptions. I my 25 complaints, I have requested them to refund my full money with interest due to their inconsistent broadband service and inability to provide me reasonable services. But they have not done anything. I am facing several challenges in the form not able to transact through online banking, not able to work from home through remote access connection, not able to send important emails, not able to file my income tax return, not able to trade in equities through my online trading portal, my family and myself are unable to use broadband services when we need it the most, and its proving to be useless for us. I would request you to kindly look into the matter and help me getting my full refund along with other compensation for all agony Hathway broadband is causing to me. Please do the needful and I'll be really thankful to you. Thanks. Vibhor Goyal

              Dear Sir I am really sorry to inform you that i had taken two digital cable connections of your co Hathway under any exchange offer from your local dealer in Saharanpur last month.Sir i gave my two old set box of Reliance Big Tv and balance payment to your dealer, they installed the new set box of Hathway at my res. Sir sorry to inform you we are terribly irritated by your services, from last 15 days there is no sony channels no sub tv no set max, we complained several times to your local dealer but no results, even if there is no electricity there is no telecast . We are fad up with this service, further your local dealer is providing a short cable with set box to run there own local cable. Sir how could a renowned company like Hathway do this, i hereby request you to please to give instructions to your local dealer to return our money and disconnect our cable connections as we no more interested in your poor services. kindly do the needful n oblige.                 I have taken up broadband connection from hathway and the company wanted the advance so was given - 6 months it took them to fix the connection as they always had some problem with the router or something. After that i was asked to pay another 3 months payment and was promised that i will get 6 month vadidity . 3 months went by and after that every month they disconnect my connection. this is insipte i have all the mail confirmations from there end regarding the 6 months connection. may god save ppl who take connections from this company, sending them mail and calling them every month has become retual in my life. I dont think so thay have any shame or ethics of doing business. They dont care about any thing .

                  Hi, I took hathway connection with the only reason that they assured a power backup. Despite confirming 1000 times prior to taking this connection, the end result was they do not provide a power backup . Upon complaining, they say they do not have a power backup only in my area. I took their internet connection as me and my husband need to work from home often and hence needed complete connectivity during power shutdown too. The worst that happened was when my husband was complaining in their office regarding this same issue, I called them up saying I need a new connection, provided my area name and again put fwd the same question that whether they provide a power backup as I need connectivity during power shutdown. I received the same assurance again. I asked them to cross check . But they still assured that they do have a power backup for 8 hours. With all this, we somehow managed 3 months as the plan was for 3 months. Once over, we started receiving calls for renewal. Initially we didn't renew as we were very tired of their poo service. But, me and my husband are flying to Australia in the next week and hence we had no time left for a new connection of some other service provider. We spoke to them and they offered us a service of 4 months with payment for only 3 months. We took the service. Last week we did the payment through cheque and within 2 days the plan of 5 mbps suddenly was changed to 0.5 mbps . On complaining, they say they have some issue in their system due to which this happened, and it will take 7 days to resolve this. I am really tired since 3-4 months and want them to stop cheating with other people. they really need qa proper lessonm

                    Since 2nd week of August both the channels are blocked by Hathway, Tried calling them keep on saying they will be available within a weeks time. Still I don't see this channels. I stay at Mira Road, have noticed that this channel is now available at my cousins place who is staying in Town.

                      I ordered for a disconnection of my account Id[protected] on Aug 29th and stated that I would be moving out of my address. No one was sent to collect the devices and refund the amount. I called them everyday till the 4th sept and they procrastinated (today/tomorrow). I finally had to shift with the devices. Now, they refuse to come to my new place of residence to collect the device stating 'it is too far' while they had agreed upon the same earlier.

                        The most horrible customer care service. Customer care makes false commitments. Managers do not take interest in attending to unresolved issues even after calling as many as 5times. I was left waiting for the whole from 9 am in the morning with the same statement as technician are trying to resolve. They are ready to terminate service but not resolve the issue. I was given false comitments not once but 5 times. Such a poor service

                          Ac no is 1267177 ki complain bar bar customer care me kr ne bad bhi network issue solve nahi hota hai, aur bad me jis din ka network cut hota hai vo din bhi bad me add nahi hota hai uper se customer care se ek hi javab milta hai aap mail karo hamara ye din network nahi tha, hr bar mail nahi kr sakte aap ke record me bhi dikhta hai k is ac no pr ye din network nahi tha to please genuine service dijiye, bcaz paise pure 6 months k advance me pay r te hai hum log

                          1267177 ka koe kam abhi tuq nahi huva hai aur customer care me cl kr ne k bad bhi koe result nahi aa raha hai aur unko puchte hai ki ye jo din west huye hai vo aage add kr k de denge to javab me bolte hai ki aap ko hamare senior se bat kr ni hogi aur koe call transfer kr k nahi de rahe hai khali call ko hold pr rakhne k bad cut kr dete hai pls in k against koe action lijiye
                          3 din se me cuctomer care me call pe call kr raha hun aur us ke bad bhi abhi tuq koe result nahi aaya hai customer care me 20 min tuq phone ghumate rehte hai ek dusre se aur bad me bol te hai hum log engineer ko bhej denge lekin koe aata nahi hai jub engineer ka call aata hai to vo batate hai ki me dusri jagah busy ho gaya tha kl aavunga kl bhi same answer diyaa tha ki aaj 11am se pehle aa jayenge lekin abhi tuq koe aaya ni hai nahi koe call aaya hai time aur paise dono publick ke west ho rahe hai please help me

                            Hathway stopped telecasting Sony channels starting from 26th. Customers have already paid full amount to them. This is not the first time. This has happened several times in past with different networks like Star etc. Zonal officer providing generalized answers and no solution. Also refused to provided me contact details of higher management whom I can contact. Attaching Mail for reference. Do we have any official platform to lodge complaint?                               Respected sir, Im venkatram vishlawath from hyderabad, Im using hathway set top box . Today i received a very bad response from hathway head office:[protected], 66463456 sir im using hathway set top box and i have paid amount for whole year. But now hathway has blocked all sony, set max, sony sab and other sports channels. Many times I have called them, they give poor response. Today they said those channels will not come from now. When I asked about the amount I paid for an year they did not give any response, I also said them ill give consumer compliant they said do whatever you want to do. Im very upset help me out sir in either subscription of channels or refund of amount. My contact:- [protected]

                                Cable connection is very bad, given a complain but never respond tried calling since three days no body still responding. They keep saying we are coming to resolve but no one turns up. Same thing happened few months ago we had to get a technician from out side to resolve the issue.                                   Dear sir, This is pradeep kumar, i am getting hathway broad brand connection of 50Mbps speed on this month 5th(05-aug-2015) my account number is 1397028, I am getting so much of problems from the connection day to till now, i am complaint so many times to customer care but they will not solve my issue, Finally i told to them please terminate the connection but they will not respond for my request. I will pay for 3 months amount for it, Please terminate my connection and refund my amount as soon as possible i am going to choose another better broad band connection, this is the one o the speed test results of my connection :http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/[protected].

                                  Very true. i too am going through the same. It is cheating in plain words. I have paid for 50 Mbps and getting between 4 and 8 Mbps.

                                    I am so frustrated with Hathway Internet service and their customer care representatives, I have been complaining to them in regards to my internet connection since last month. If I paid for something in return I expect the proper service from you. However it’s not happening. I was given an assurance at the time of renewing my plan that you won’t be facing any issues. But every day I have to call and ask the reason for not proving the internet service, every time they give shi tty excuses like outrage etc. it’s not my fault, if it was told at the time of subscription I would have never went with bloody hathway. Now when I am asking for my money back after giving you guys 10 chances. They simply deny and hang up the phone. I would recommend everyone not to consider Hathway as your ISP. complete money waste and every day you end up calling thier customer service and they'll screw you happiness everyday.

                                      Dear team, Account:- 862284 My hathway connection was suppose to be renew on 21-Aug-2015, as per process i opened hathway.com and gone to login into my account. But, to my surprise i was getting error "user ID entered has been expired". So, i thought it might be some error, so i gone for forgot pasword recieved a new password.when i entered that again the same problem were coming. On[protected], So i called the most pathetic customer service centre on earth to tell my problem, they said its account related problem so we cannot help call customer care in morning and press 2. On[protected], i called up customer care and press 2 to talk with account people.to my utter surprise they said "sir, its a technical problem call customer service and press 1". I have done that, and almost explaining all the details again and again that executive told me to put a mail to surat.[protected]@hathway.net . I have send mail to above mentioned id with the screenshot of problem. I received a bounce mail stating quota of the mail has been exceeded. I was helpless at that time, and was very frustrated. On[protected], in the morning i again put a mail to mentioned email id, and it was through. I received a reply, stating thank you for your mail our executive will contact me. I received a call from executive, i explained him about all problem he said, he will get back to me after resolution and he never turned back. I waited, and called customer care they said your account is de-activated due to non-payment .i said i want to activate it but, that error is coming, he said helpdesk people will call me. On[protected], i again put a mail to surat helpdesk with cc nodal officer and one of the director of company Mr.Dulal Banerjee To my surprise, my mail got bounce from all email id. Again i send the mail to same, recipient and it was throught. On[protected], problem was still there. I called there bombay customer care, they said they cant do anything as it is related to surat so i have to contact surat office only. I had made payment to hathway via quickpay option for Rs.2800, and asked them to renew it. Customer care, executive said its related to account department call them tomarrow in the morning. On[protected], i callled customer care executive to account department, they said i have made 41Rs less payment. So, i have made that payment then and there. I have called them and requested to activate my account.she said "sir, your connection is renewed and now activated" When i came home in the night after my office, to find out that my connection is still not working. My all problem stand unclear till now:- 1) user id entered expired 2) connection not working And to my surprise, i have put Mr.Dulal banerjee in my all mail communication to escalate the matter so that i can get resolution from them. But, i think Mr.banerjee is incapable to hold the position to solve this problem of there customer from there team. I hope hathway executive, customer care will be capable to handle this. Regards,

                                      I want a new connection of Internet for that I had called to your customer care no.([protected]) and given full details on 25th Aug'15 and they provided me reference no. 220480 and told that there agent will call me. But none of the call came form your side, even I had call again and again (on 26th. 27th & 30th Aug'15) to the customer care and they only tell me that you will get a call within 24 hrs. Definitely.
                                      I really fed up off from this, as I am getting very bad service from your side before getting me connection than what will happen after connection.

                                        Here is the Account No: 1388563 for Internet connection.

                                        Recently I shifted from Act(formerly Beambroad) to Hathway Broadband. Though I was quite satisfied with with Act for more than 2 years I shifted to Hathway becuase they promised to provide more than double the speed Act provides that to for the same price.

                                        But the fact is the speed is such worst that I some times get *20 TIMES LESSER* what they promised and the worst thing I get frequent disconnections at least once in a minute. sometime. Since I work from frequent disconnection will not work for me.

                                        When I initially raised the issue about the speed and connectivity the technician turned just saw the problems and left. No resolution is being taken.

                                        Though frequently following even with Nodal office I see the ticket are getting closed with out any resolution...

                                        Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                        I paid for 3 months advance in which installation is free along with the equipment.
                                        Its' been exactly 1 month since I have taken the new connection.
                                        Out of 30 days 20 days internet is not working.
                                        I have been sending emails but no replies are coming back.
                                        Similarly on phone I have been asking for the senior manager but they haven't been able to connect me to them even after 10-15 requests / complaints.
                                        Internet connection speeds are at times coming at 2 -5 mpbs even after promise speed of minimum 35 MBPS.
                                        Even if it's connected at 35 MBPS still the browsing speed is the same as th earlier ones.
                                        They are cheating thats for sure.
                                        Sending mails and reaching Hathway Customer care is useless and just posted the complaint here got a call from Nodal officer
                                        assuring things will be resolved. But thats turning out to be false assurance nothing is getting changed both the issue still persist

                                        Now how should we should address this ? Its look like its not just me even others are facing the same issue. And for others who wanted use this connection for doing WFH then its **BIG NO**

                                        Reporting the complaint here did REALLY help as repeatedly calling the customer care was of no use.

                                        But I moved on i.e reverted back to ACT..

                                        I cannot comment whether Hathway can provide a consistent service as other leaders such as ACT or Airtel. But I am pretty sure that ACT can provide a good service..

                                        I have a broadband Internet connection with hathway. The connection is really horrible. The Internet gets disconnected repeatedly . Ihave complained it many times but it is of no use.

                                        The qtly.payment was mad on offer that 15 days extra will be given for my connection .That is 15 days extra for 3 months payment.But now the co.is not providing the extra 15 days offered.Making false commitment.
