I had asked for disconnection of service and the account was deactivated but the modem was not taken nor any personnel came to take the modem during disconnection.

Subsequent after few months hathway called for recovering modem and I asked them to collect and they said they would send someone to collect the modem.But still now no one came and the hathway staff's has been calling me repeatedly to recharge.

Please collect the modem and provide me the deposit amount.

    Customer ID: [protected], Hathway Broadband Chennai. I have relocated out of Chennai and requested to terminate my account and place DND.
    So as to not receive calls from Customer care to recharge my account.
    All my attempts failed. Hathway still don't terminate my subscription or placed DND. But keep calling me to remind me for recharge. It's annoying.

      Dear Hathway,

      I am writing to you on an issue that might sound trivial to you, but has been troubling me for quite a while and despite of my continuous efforts, I am left with the only option of writing this mail to you, for urgent intervention.

      I have been a privileged customer of yours, (Customer ID [protected]), where in, I had used your broadband services, while I was staying at New Delhi, from Dec 17 to Nov 22. The internet services provided by you, during this period, was exemplary.

      I am a defence employee and have recently been transferred out of Delhi, and the area I presently reside at, do not have a Hathaway connection, or any other internet for that matter.

      I really appreciated the professionalism of Hathaway, until recently (since last 3 months), when I have started receiving persistent calls from your Sales team, asking me to reactivate my Account.

      I have tried my best to explain, to your sales team, that I do not and cannot have a Hathaway connection now and despite of disconnecting the call numerous times, I continue to receive the calls, at least once or twice in a day.

      These calls are continuously spamming my phone, and are really affecting my normal phone usage, as I’m sceptical in picking up an unknown number, thinking of the Hathaway guy hounding me again for a broadband connection.

      So, being a good customer, I promise to let you know at the very first instance, when I move to an area which has Hathaway connection, until then, I request you to put my name under the 'DO NOT DISTURB' list and kindly intimate your Sales / customer care team, to let me live in peace.

      Not expecting a reply, but early action please.

        I had used hathway and deactivated it since lockdown but I keep getting calls for the past years nonstop daily. I have told everytime they call as to stop calling again if I want ill call. No improvement.

          Please be informed that I have an unpleasant experience with Hathway customer support.
          It was on Mar 5th I registered a Service Request for ISP termination
          On Mar 7th I got a call from Field executive for collecting the instrument
          On Mar 8th I have surrendered the device to the Ground staff, he said I will receive call from Billing dept within 2Days and they may ask me to reply an email with my bank account details, post that my Refundable deposit will be credited to my bank account

          Nothing happened like said No progress in my refund

          Instead I am receiving calls from inappropriate dept such as
          Sales -For plan upgrade
          Service -For closing the registered request
          Tech -For closing the Service Request
          Helpdesk -Payment Reminder Plan expiry

          My very serious concern is that no call/ email so far for Billing regards refund or bank account details obtaining

          The way CMS is handled is really unorganised there is no proper communications between departments.
          I severely insist in taking actions as quicker as possible in getting my money refunded.

            Hello,
            I am GTPL city Cable Consumer name vivek wakade from District Gadchiroli State Maharashtra. Im very disappoint and gone too irrited from Gtpl service Operator. My cable channel not see good from last 4 moth evry time whenevr i switch on the tv always screen flash not signal then i calling service operator about signal problem but operator not cooperate good with me and didnt clear the my cable signal problm till now. I feel my money loss so please i request u Gtpl compny Some do for my Gtpl conection. If you are not do that anything. So i have only option change my cable conection.. Thank u

                Hi I have several hathway connection as I have brach office all over Chennai, I have told them to put my number in dnd several time but they never listen, they keeps calling. I am getting minimum 50 to 100 calls everyday, even though I block all their number they come in new numbers to torcher me. If you can arrest these hathway head for min torchering an individual please do it and let them never do this again to anyone.

                  I have disconnected the hathway broadband and as i have switch to another isp which is providing the broadband using fiber. I have called to customer care to stop the service but daily twice i'm getting call from hathway stating that we're providing offer please do recharge. How to stop this call?
                  As per your guidelines i reached customer care and informed to stop the service. What else expecting from consumer?
                  I have already register for DND of Airtel but no improvement.

                    Hi,

                    I am from Delhi and have been using Hathway connection for 2 years. For last one year, there are continuous interruptions of data service every day. In every hour, the connection goes off for 2 minutes, though the wifi signal shows full strength. With such lousy wifi continuity issue, it was so difficult to do work from home. I had to opt for alternative connection. But as the date for renewal came closer, for last 15 days, everyday i get 2-3 calls for making renewal payment. Even yesterday the same issue persisted after they changed the router. Would strongly suggest others not to opt for renewal/ new connection without checking the wifi service continuity over a full day. If the connection goes off for 2-3 min in every hour, its a completely useless option. Ideally, I should have been refunded the amount of last 8 months ( from the time, I had to take an alternative wifi connection in the same address- i have all the bills).

                      Hi,

                      I would like to share my grievance against Hathway Internet providers. I had a Hathway connection in the Jan 2021 but then I moved to a different location and cancelled their subscription around Sept 2021. Since then these people are harassing me with multiple calls in a day. I have proof of records where sometimes in a day there are more than 5 calls from various numbers. I have requested multiple times to delete my number from their system but they still continue to call.
                      Please help me with this as it gets out of control when you are a working professional and these calls don't stop.

                        I was having 6months hathway broadband plan and speed/support was very pathetic so i stopped using and went for Jio bradband. Even after surrendering moden i reapeadly getting calls from Nungambakkam hathway office more than 4 times a day even they call me 8pm including sundays. Even after explaning them the same thing continues.

                          It is really poorest broadband company in world, if here option of rating zero or Minus then I will give it minus.
                          3 to 4 times in a day it has technically issue. I am unable to do my official work.
                          If you look for broad band then it's my personal experience as well very bad experience, Also he has paid customer care service not tollfree. Please do not see GTPL, I just want save your money as well time.

                            At my home, we took GTPL Broadband, but the connection was very weak that even in same room where the wifi box was there, The signal hardly comes even I was not able to load Gmail on my laptop. So we raised the query, they send 2 time their technical person but there was no solution. After that once again the main technical person cam and he told that the range is poor and I will not get good speed. So we told them to cancel our connection as their technical person only told us there is no other way to get it sorted. So he told us to email them to cancel the connection, so we did that. And then when we told to refund our money as we have paid 1 year of advance. So we told them to cut the 15 days amount and return back the remaining amount. We tried to mail them and also tried to contact customer service, but there was no response and when we called the person who installed it, he told us there is no return policy and he didn't even inform us anything about this policy. As it was their fault, that the connection was poor from their side, still they are not providing the refund and even not replying to our emails.

                            I request you to help me with this and help us to get our refund of the amount RS. 6095. As the fault was from thier side.

                              Hathaway board-band Internet service provider has been calling me repeatedly twice or thrice daily for last 2 months. I have blocked many numbers but still they call from different mobile number everyday. I used to stay in Hyderabad but I have moved to Guwahati for different job role. Also, I have requested for permanent deactivation of my account with customer services twice but still I'm getting calls everyday. This is very frustrating and kind of mental harrasment to a customer. Kindly help to end this call.

                                Date of incident: 22-& 23 March 2022

                                Hathway internet Mumbai took more than 24 hours to check a service disruption at their end. This was done after multiple escalations via calls, twitter and Email. it took them more than 24 hrs to fix an issue that takes 3 minutes.

                                In lieu of the disruption of service, I contacted them several times over Email and Calls (to Customer support) but haven't got any response. On call they say they have escalated to "seniors" and I will receive a callback. The customer service also refused to lodge a complaint ticket to track the request.

                                They seem to avoid taking responsibility of technical failures, (which are frequent)

                                    I had done GTPL Broadband Connection recharge worth 4000rs via GTPL mobile application on 17th march.

                                    But my internet not starred working, when i compliant this with customer care they provided me a technician contact number, that technician confirm me that GTPL Broadband connection is no more in my area.

                                    Then i again contacted with customer care as they inform they cann't help me in this and asked me to write mail on your [protected]@gtpl.net.
                                    I had written multiple mails to them requesting to refund my money, but they are not ready to return and just sending Apology for this.

                                    I didn't need their apology i need my money back.
