Our local cable operator in Mira Road "Star Cable" Tel: Nos 28100562/28112236 had installed Hathway Set Top box around 1.5 years back. Regret to inform that till date we could not get proper quality. In fact there is breakdown in services for atleast 10 to 12 days every month. When we call on the above telephone numbers the cable operator do not respond to the calls. Last month they came to collect the payment and during that time their mechanic told us that the set top box is faulty and needs replacement. The mechanic arranged an alternate set top box at a charge of Rs 300. Even after that we could not get proper transmission. we tried calling them but the cable operator did not respond. Two days back their representative came to collect the money. During this time again he informed that the set top bax is not working and he will reapir and bring it back. He returned the set top bax yesterday stating that the box cannot be repaired. We are really frustrated by the kind of services being offered by Star Cable. Please help resolve the issue.       There will be a live icc world cup happening between India and Pakistan and sports channels are blocked. They are worried only on earnings. This I add regarding rajeshwari cables Banagirinagar, BANASHANKARI. Request to bring in competitors as it's been a monopoly.

        Hi, I am from Hyderabad and using Hathway cable TV. As we could see some of the channels were not available, I tried to reach customer care for the issue. After trying for 2 days, I could reach them on[protected]. The executive told me as "these are paid channels, you will have to do payment of 40/-" and gave me an account number. I have done the same and after that been trying to reach them to convey that I had paid required amount and to ask them to provide the channel. I'm really fed up with this. No number is working/either busy/not answering. I want 'STAR SPORTS 1' Channel immediately. Below are the contact numbers given to me: [protected] [protected] [protected] Couldn't reach any one of the above :(:( I even mailed nodal officers for the issue but received no response. Can someone please provide proper contact number. I really want to escalate this issue.           Dear Sir, I have problem with some of the channels and contacted the cable service provider to inform the same. He responded back with uncomplimentary words where I got so upset due to his misbehavior and also decided to cancel my connected.His name is Narasimha reddy.             Respected sir, Will you please tell us when would you start STAR SPORTS HD3 and HD4 channel as its not there. Other cable operator have started both the channels except hathway. I am missin Some of the important match due to this.. Waiting for your rply

                Customer No.1267769 I have subscribed for internet broadband service from Hathway Broadband for 50 MBPS plan @ Rs.2359/- on 1/2/2015, and I was told by their executive that the installation would be done within 48 hours. But actual installation was done on 07/02/15 after my rigorous follow-ups with their customer service centre on daily basis for more than 10 times. Now the actual problem is, since last 4 days we are unable to connect the internet and there is either no signal or limited signal. I have been calling your customer service team @[protected] / 66989866. It was assured by their customer care executive for sending an engineer on 10th to rectify the problem, but till now no body has turned up. More over, since installation on 7th, the speed of their broad band was NOT more than 5 MBPS. If this is the service level they can be able to provide, I don't need it. Yesterday when I called them at above nos., nobody was there to attend the call, I was on line for more than 5 minutes. Today (12/02/15) after 3 attempts, one of their executive attended the call and I have explained him the problem and wanted to connect me to their Regional Manager, but he denied to connect. As Im not happy with their service at all, I would like to cancel my subscription. Hence, I request you to get my money refunded. Sanjeeva Reddy Kukatpally Hyderabad.

                  I have a connection at Bhopal (C-8, Chinar Estate, Berasia Road, Bhopal).through White Cable, DIG Bunglow, Berasia Road, Bhopal. No information is given on existing packages. Also packages change very frequently even in short period of one month. Few months back, star sports channel were blocked, After a short period they were resumed. Then Zee channels were blocked. Cable operator had no information as to how much had to paid for the channels. After about a month, they were resumed. Then Star channels were blocked. Now from today, all of a sudden Bengali channels such as Zee Bangla, ETV Bangla etc are blocked. Hathway does not inform customers whenever a particular channel is converted to pay channel. I fail to understand why Hathway changes its policy every one or two months. As advertised in TV, all customers of cable TV were required to fill Subscriber application form and indicate the package selected. Despite reminders, cable operator is not getting form filled. I am really fed up with the service given by Hathway. It is probably the worst. Why cant packages be fixed, why does it get changed six times in 6 months.                       I took an 1Mbps Unlimited (no speed reduction) internet connection plan in December. After about 2 weeks, the speed reduced considerably. After calling the customer care, I got to know that a totally different plan was given to me. I had called them on 31st December and raised a complaint (#[protected]. The executive told me that it would be resolved in 72 hours. I didn't get time to follow up for a week but as I could see, the speed was still less. I called them on 7th January again and the customer care executive told me that the team is still working on it. When I told him that the complaint was raised on 31st and it has been over 7 days and nothing has been done about it where it should have been resolved within 3 days! He said that will mark the complaint as priority and send it back to the technical team. On being asked how much time will it take to get resolved, he told me that it will take 7 more days! I told him it was totally impractical as I will be losing half a month over all due to this and this is very wrong. I demanded that my remaining money be refunded and the connection disconnected and he said that that won't happen. I told him to connect me to his supervisor or his team leader and then for a few seconds there was no response and then the call was disconnected. I tried again today and asked to talk to the supervisor. The executive put my call on hold and I was on the call for a long time and no one picked up. I had to disconnect the line. I immediately started a call recording app and then called them again. I told the executive in the beginning that your the was being recorded and I could use it later if I do not get response from you. I explained the whole scenario to the lady executive and asked to connect me to her supervisor. She agreed to that and put me on hold. I waited for more than 5 minutes but no one picked the call again!! I had to disconnect. Please look into this and let me know what should be done. I have the call recording with me. I need help now to get the refund back of my payment made for 3 months as this net connection seem to be of no use with this sort of problems.                           Hi, I have taken a new internet connection on 22 Jan in wakad but the connection is yet not activated. Whenever I try to access the internet it says username does not exists. I have called your customer care many times almost 3 times everyday for past 15 days but the issue has not being resolved.                             Hathway Broadband Bhilai not providing proper service and details regarding the plan subscribed. They deny to provide complain number. They are giving half the speed of the plan. The download speed which should be about 100Kbps is only 40Kbps for 1 Mbps plan. This problem is for more than six month, On asking for extension they say they will provide a month extension on next payment which they have not provided for last two half-yearly. Every year the problem persist for about six month. six month in the year 2013 and same in the year 2014 which is still not solved. They say due to bandwith problem they are upgrading the device. Which is still been upgraded for last six month. They take the payment but do not provide proper service. They deny to provide any written details regarding the plan which we subscribe. They deny to provide details regarding extensions they promise. They do not reply on email regarding complains or query. They are probably cheating customers.

                              hi, I am Srinivas, a Hathway cable subscriber from Hyderabad. I am not getting many channels which I complained to my local cable operator but I did not get any help from him. I wanted to add those channels by adding them to my account online, but I don't have any accound number which the Hathway site is asking to register.                                 Hi, I am a Hathway broadband user from past 1year. Almost after 6months o[censored]sage they prompt us to upgrade the net connection to 50mbps. Also they said we should pay for three months at once and we did. From that day onwards the Internet connection is not working properly and we are not getting Internet at all for many days. its been almost 5months. No service at all... We called the customer care number of times. But no proper response from the Hathway guys. We requested them to at least to extend the renewal time, they said its not possible. So request every one don't ever go for Hathway Broadband services. It's very worst and waste of money and time. Better stay without Internet connection rather than using this useless HATHWAY connection.

                                  My channels have been blocked for more than a month now..my cable operator does nothing ...I complaint over here ..nothing happens...I mailed to hathway ..they say they need some obrm code to activate.. when I asked my cable operator he says he doesn't even know what an obrm is...no help from anywhere...what's happening to hathway... common yaar ...u need to stop all this crap..

                                    My name is Sameer and I had an installation of my Hathway Broadband connection on 25th January 2015. However, the speeds started to come down lesser than 10 MBPS. I have raised couple of cases with the customer care for which the service engineer had visited and resolved the issue but which was repeated again immediately after he left.                                       Our Cable operator SONALI CABLE is asking for extra money for subscription of channel and he his taking 320rs per month and in malad east they are getting free so please take my complaint very serious and help us otherwise we have to go to consumer court THANKING YOU

                                        Hi Hathway, This is regarding the new internet connection provisioning for my new residence at Flat no 303, Anjanadri Apts, Asmangadh Malakpet Hyderabad. I had approved Mr. Mallesh @ [protected] on 24th Jan as was been told that the connection will provided on the same day evening as Hathway already have the presence in that building, but till now there is no update from you team, when called Mallesh he told me that its pending from the customer service team and he dont have anything to do in this and wants to be contact customer service itself. when contacting customer server they told have any update on this connection. I Work as a Network Engineer and Internet is very crucial for me, you team has wasted my two days for this connection, If hathway cant stand on the commitment let me know i can take the connection from any other service provider there is no Monoply here where hathway is the only option. SORRY THAT I HAD CHOOSEN AN WRONG SERVICE PROVIDER FOR INTERNET. REFUND ME BACK MY MONEY "FIBERTEL" IS READY TO PROVIDE ME THE CONNECTION IN AN HR. WAS NOT HOPING THIS KIND OF SERVICE FROM HATHWAY.
