Residing in Bangalore . Hathway Broadband - Account No 1101174. Name - Vivek
On 30th March I had taken broadband connection 50 MBPS speed with 40 GB usage and speed reduction thereafter. In the month of April 14 i;e from 1st to 30th ..there was no problem with the data usage or the connection ...same pattern was followed in may 14 . But in May 14 - hathway data usage showed that I have consumed 59 GB data in 1st six days itself and hence my speed is reduced . Fact is that I may have used not more that 5-6 GB during this period .
From 6th May till today 9th may, i have contacted Hathway consumer care no[protected] almost 4-5 times ... no solution provided by them and they kept on saying that I need to send a mail to [protected]@hathway.net ... 2 mails have been sent to them so far ...after 2 days, i receive a call saying that the data usage is correct ... and the phone is disconnected.

I feel Hathway team is cheating customers by doing such a thing so that for rest of the month customer does not use Internet at all . Money is already with them so they can play the way they want with the data usage.
I expect that Hathway team resolve this issue as early as possible and stop cheating customers else tob booked for doing business unethically.

    Since last 11 month i m hathway user with client id : keshav5684.

    My plan 2mbps with static IP even i get maxinum 1.4mbps n also everyday facing low download and surfing speed and also disconnect .

    Everyday i do Complain at hathway office but even i not get my solution for low speed and disconnect.

    engineer visit i get 1 time in 2 week.

    my all all Complain close with out any solution ya any update .

    Since last 2 month engineer saying in your area now devloping with firecable but yet now it's not complate.

    Yet more then i call 100 times Baroda head prakesh and nilesh yet now they not receive any calls.

    so i tell many time at custumber care office to call back to me but even i not get any call back from them.

      To whom so ever this is concern this is with regards to a connection we have taken on name of Bala & Associates on Pali hill, Bandra west we have not got any bill and have been trying to contact tecnical guy sonu from 2 weeks no response not reverting the calls as well wanted to change the location of router and other help as well but not ready to help and give service so also would like to disconnect the service and need the refund of the amounts paid by us as we cannot use a connection where there is no service at all please get the disconnection processed as soon as possible and refunds of amount or this complain will be going to consumer court.

        I am Mr S. venkateshwar Account no 987895 (HATHWAY ) i am repeatedly giving complaint regarding connectivity issue 14 days completed still there is no solution from ISP . ISP person yesterday came and told me need to change the cable, he told me he will replace tomorrow morning today no one turn up. today evening i spoke with isp customer care people they told my complaint closed, without confirming with me my complaint got closed by customer care people.           I had nought a HD box from my cable provider on November 1st 2013 and had paid the cable as well as HD charges for a period of 1 year. But ever since Hathway made Star Sports channels available on A la carte basis, I have not been getting any Star Sports HD channels. I have called the cable provider multiple times but he has refused to give me those channels saying "Hathway is asking you to pay for them". I don't understand what's the problem because I have already paid for a yearly subscription and should be getting all the channels till November 1st 2014. The situation has been handled pathetically by Hathway and I am extremely agitated and furious with them and I hope this issue is resolved ASAP.

            This has reference to my ongoing relation with hathway broadband service provider(Noida) which i am using since last six months. I opted for 5 mbps speed. First three months the speed was more or less ok and view same i renewed paying 3300 for further three months as it was renewed the problems started occuring such as frequent disconnection, very low download speed i.e 10-15 kbps. Initially i ignored but after some time it went worst to tolerate I complained a lot and after so many complains the reply from their engineers were - It is shared line and load is too much - Hathway is cheating their customers by telling it is dedicated line - Some of the equipments can not carry further load - It may get rectified in few days or even weeks. Several engineers visited to sort the problem all were on same lines that it will be rectified as hathway management does not have sufficient equipment and a dedicated line instead it is a shared line. I tried sending them email with proof on their "[protected]@hathway.net" but all in vain as no one interested in even replying to th email. I got few calls at last asking me to further renew my account and executives even misbehaved over phone and asked forcefully to renew. I was threatened upon asking for compensation and beng told that not a single day will be given as a compensation which was earlier promised by their team leader in Delhi and many times by customer executives themselves. Question here is - why no govt official interfere and check the integrity on what they promise - Why they don't reply on their email ?? - Why we even today becoming fooled by such companies - why strict action is not taken against their promises which is not in writing - why no one is checking that whether it is dedicated line or shared line - Anyone interested in hathway broadband pls check and first do your homework before subscribing Brgds Hathway acct No. 1050106

            I am using here the hathway connection, My account no. Is 1264435 in the name of Vineet Chauhan
            I am facing the problem of disconnection of Internet service after 3-4 hrs and for further use of Internet I have to reconnect it,
            so my request you to kindly fix my connection permanently on for uninterrupted work.

            the service provided is hopeless and no response from the customer care also even after regular follow ups.
            I am getting the worst service through hathway. As many times I complained the customer care but there is no proper actions taken by them. Now I am going to disconnect it. I want the compensation from hathway.

              I shifted from Andheri to Dadar on 1st April 2014. I had submitted a request to shift my connection on 30th March itself. They generated a complaint ID also and promised to resolve asap. i waited for 4 days called customer care many times they didn't pick up my call. then contacted the person who had set up the connection at andheri he provided me the contact no.of shivaji park hathway guy. he promised me to setup the connection last friday. then i kept calling him up on saturday he replied they will come. at 6PM when i called he said they wont come they will come on monday. Now its Thusday, they haven't turned up yet and now that guy: Abhijeet cut my call. It is already 17 days and they are not showing up neither replying.

                In my new rented house there is a installed hathway set top box. when i asked cable operator to start the service, he is demanding extra 500 as connection charges. I called the customer care and they confirmed me that I am not supposed to pay any extra money. I also complained on [protected]@hathwy.net but no response from their side. Birendra [protected]

                  I live in Hadapsar, Pune.I want to change my Internet connection plan from 600kbps unlimited to 2 Mbps and I have paid the amount of Rs 2573 for 3 months on 7 march 2014 now it is 11 April 2014 which is more than a month, still my plan has not changed.I have been contacting their customer care executives but they are giving me different reasons every time when I call them.I'm really frustrated talking to them they are just useless dumb fellows don't know what action to take. I just to stop service and want my money back that I have paid in advance.

                    I have taken the cable television premium package of Hathway Cable & Datacom Limited through Dream(A/C of Channel Nine), Rajpur Aghar Sarani, Kolkata-700149, who is the local cable operator on behalf of Hathway Cable & Datacom Limited inclusive of Star Sports 1, 2, 3 & 4. Now since last 7 days the channels mentioned herein above are blocked.The local cable operator was approached and enquired about the 4 sports channels as to why it is blocked. The local cable operator replied that the MSO in this case Hathway Cable & datacom Limited wants more money addition along with tax as applicable in order to view above mentioned 4 sports channels.In this regard it is worthy to mention that in Kolkata area other MSO are not charging any extra for those 4 sports channels.MySmart card/Mac id for two STB are[protected] and[protected]

                      I am unable to watch star sports channels from 1st april 2014 till today (9/4/2014). Our cable operator is saying that star sports have became a pay channel because of that we are unable to give star sports channels. But the fact is star sports channels are not making any extra charge as per the add given by start sport channel itself. We asked him we are paying every month money for cable and why you are not able to give service, for that he says that's not our problem that's hathway digital cable problem and we cant do anything. We don't know whom should we consult with. So please resolve this...

                        We are unable to watch STAR SPORTS CHANNELS from 1st April 2014 till date(7/4/2014). Our cable operator is saying that star sports have became a pay channel because of that we are unable to give star sports channels. But the fact is STAR SPORTS CHANNELS ARE NOT MAKING ANY EXTRA CHARGE as per the add given by START SPORT channel itself.                           Taken extra amount from me for starting star sports channel saying that they have increased their rates. But star sports is conveying a message that there is no hike in prices and hathway is misinforming people and taking extra charges from them.

                                Hello, I am leaving in vartak nagar, thane, maharashtra, from 1st April 2014, hathway cable is asking for more Rs. 20/- per channel for start sports channel. When we asked them reason, they said STAR SPORTS increased price per channel, however STAR SPORTS advertising on channel saying they have increased price. Can you please look into it.

                                Dear Sir,

                                Re: My Hathway connection through your cable operator M/s.Jai Sai
                                Cable Network, Malad (West), Mumbai-400064.

                                I am your client since inception of my stay in the above new building from the year 2005. The subject cable operator was earlier charging Rs.250/- p.m. and subsequently increased to Rs.300/- p.m.

                                From August 2013 the rental is increased to Rs.350/- p.m. for a single TV and for the additional TV Rs.160/- p.m.

                                Before six months, I have been provided with a form supplied by you indicating therein various packages. I have already filled up that form and kept ready along with the documents to be attached there but the cable operator is not ready to collect the form saying that the packages are still not operative.

                                I want to go for your Digital Popular package with an additional TV Popular plan. The cost of Digital Popular Package is Rs.245/- p.m. and for the additional TV Popular is Rs.125/-. Thus the total cost for me for two TV sets works out to Rs.370/- p.m. + taxes as applicable.

                                I strongly feel that undue burden is imposed on me by charging Rs.510/- p.m. Even after charging Rs.510/- p.m. they do not show many channels like Masti, Sports channels when world cup was going on. At the time of World Cup you were again and again informing us by way of pop up on DD sports channel to register the complaint with you if the operator was not showing sports channels.

                                I may add just for your information that I am the Chairman of Kalpataru Classic Society and this complaint is of almost all your subscribers of our building.

                                In view of this fact I request you to take up the matter with the said cable operator and do the needful under advice to me.

                                        Hello, I have upgraded my package from 5MBPS to 50MBPS and paid for 50 MBPS speed. From 6th March 2014 am continuously making complaints regarding the speed, no one is seriously attending the complaint and solving the issue. There engineer came spend some time and said it will be sorted out but till date not got any solution. I placed complaints on phone on emails but just wasted my time, no solution. Anybody who can help me out with the main boss who is taking care of complaints. Waiting for reply. regards, Lalit
