Hathway Bangalore suspends star sports channels without intimation, every month they claim their monthly dues are high because of the sports channels and without any intimation they suspend the channels. When you try to contact their office, they let the phone ring and they pick up the phone and cut it. This is worst kind of service I have ever had to face. This is a continuing problem, every few months they keep doing this and harassing the customers.

I tried to subscribe to StarSports 1 but I am couldn't to do that as I was getting the message "Star Sports 1-Plan not valid for this customer". I called hathway customer service and they said they are also getting the same message and can't help. I have already made the online payment
and have lost that money also.
Very disappointed with hathway in not fixing this problem from many days

    Even after I pay more than Rs. 320/- p.m. I still do not get any sports channel. After I compliant, they started for few days and without informing back suddenly stopped.I get all unwanted channels except news Hathway charges are the highest in Bhandup area. Other channels are showing all the channles for an amount of less than Rs. 300/- No proper response from the cable operators also. I am really fed up. When T20 matches are going on, the channel is blocked. CARD NO.[protected]

      I had Subscribed to Premium pack of Hathway Cable which includes all Channels. But from last 1.5 months All of the Star Sports channels were blocked even though it was included in the Pack. But now in order to view these 4 channels we have to pay Rs 51/channel which includes 3 months validity. Agarwal Cable communications(Malad, Mumbai) is the Local cable operator in our Locality who provides cable services & we have to pay to them. But then the main culprit is the Hathway, how come they can charge Extra it doesn't make sense. At other places i.e in borivali, kandivali there are no extra charges taken, All channels are coming too, , , though Hathway is not the main cable operator there. Do take some serious taken action.

      What's the step ahead, i went to their office on friday and the status is still the same, they are still asking for extra money..how can such cable operators charge extra money without proper justification ???
      Can we please have some person from the governing body to take action on this ?

        Hi

        Its been over 1.5 months that my Hathway Cable is not working and i have called like 50 times but still the local operator in Whitefield area, Bangalore is not responding. Every time we call, he says that he is coming but never shows up. Its a pretty bad experience and we are planning to throw away the boxes. My whole building is facing this issue. Now the society is planning to bar the Hathway from building.

          Hi,

          Two months back i complaint about the star sports channels which u were stop showing & i told my cable operator & in customer care also to start the channel but they didn't.

          I already paid three months payment to the cable operator i.e 350 per month.
          for JAN, FEB & MAR. And he was promised me to start the sports channel which he didn't.

            I have a 15mbps broadband connection through Hathway (Customer Id 910000) which is not functioning properly since March 4th 2014 - makes it almost 18 days now). Everytime I call the helpline, I get a response saying the issue will be corrected in 24 hours or some line is being laid but nothing happens. The connection starts, disconnects on its own and gives a lousy speed of 15-20 KBps browsing speed even when functional. After filing nearly 7-8 complaints overs 18 days, I finally asked them to disconnect the connection and refund my money but nothing happens here as well. The senior managers apparently dont care! I request a prompt action to be taken and I request whoever is planning to purchase a new net connection please dont got with Hathway. It is absolutely ridiculous.               I paid 2500/- to my hathway account 932821 even before expiry of my plan and asked the customer care to update my plan to 1MbPs but despite multiple calls (min 20 times) and god know why hathway doesnt have a toll free number. The only answer i get from the customer care is that my query is with the activation team and it will resolved within 2-4 hours, multiple complain has been raised by me but still no luck. I have been following up with customer care since 1st March. Its so pathetic that they have taken money for 1mbps bt have activated 600kpbs plan and now after multiple follow up too no action has been taken on my request to upgrade my plan. It sucks and even when asking the customer care to divert my call to the senior manager they hung up the call... please help..

                My customer ID is 185071 from kandivali west. I have shifted my plan from 5MBPS to 50MBPS. I have placed three complaints from 6th March till 16th March for the lowest speed, i paid for 50 MBPS but not getting more than 2 MBPS - 12 MBPS. No complaint has been attained yet. I am forced to place this issue in the customer forums, because of false promises made by your team. I want my money back and shift me back to 5MBPS .                     I am been using Hathway from the month of September 2013 of customer ID: 1025852, I am using the service of 15Mbps and in the begining it was working normal. February end I got a message saying that the modem has to be switched on so that they will go with some technical issues back end. Then I started using the same 15Mbps speed and paid the bill for March 2014 of Rs.1300/-. But the Internet speed is very slow that even my 2g mobile Internet can beat the speed of the Internet provided. I regularly lodged complaint and they been giving me compliant numbers each and every call I made. But then 2weeks passed complaining everyday. Still the Internet speed issue is not resolved. I don't know without the service they had charged me as a monthly rental in which I Couldn't able to use for past 2weeks and still not yet resolved.

                      Despite repeated follow ups with the Concerned Hathway executives via calls at regular intervals, Yet no resolution has provided uninterrupted service. Off late the level of service is very bad without any after Sales service Support. Can I expect support before I make up my mind to Discontinue HATHWAY Services & provide the same Feedback to Others (exixting/New).

                        This complaint is in regards to our cable operator " Hathway ". I stay in kandivali East, Lokhandwala Township and over their the cable operator claims that we have to pay an extra charge of Rs15 per Star Sports Channel. Already we are paying Rs 300 per month but still they have blocked all the Star Sports channel since that last 1 month. Cable operator states that the charges are increased by the Hathway Company and there is nothing what they can do in this matter. The same Hathway company is giving all the channels free included in their monthly package in Mira road and Bhayandar. Why is that we have to pay an extra charge per channel when we are already paying the monthly subscription charge. Can you do something in this matter ?

                          Ref Hathways Customer ID: 1049925 My problem is that I am a senior citizen and was recently operated for replacement of my both knees. As my grand children keep bothering me all the time for Pass Word and logging in details to use my PC and my legs condition not permitting me frequent movements, I very humbly requested Hathways to provide me with static IP address with only one port so that this frequent logging is avoided. There is no such hassle of logging in with any other company. I was sure that keeping my health condition in view, they will do the needful. I lodged my request for the same but no one bothered to call me. When I called them, I was given a curt reply that I will have to shell out Rs 3500/- for the static IP. I have decided to terminate my services with them once my 6 months period is over in April and switch over to Airtel. Hathways charge 6 months fee in advance so that they can blackmail people like this as no one would like to terminate service in between for fear of losing amount collected by them in advance, which they will never refund. Typical cunning mentality. One can’t speak to any senior Executive of theirs as they have not provided with any tele number except only one number where you can lodge a general complaint. All their seniors sit in very air tight compartments. One can’t send them any written communication either as mails sent to them are rejected and bounce back on your face. Typical arbitrary way of functioning of this company. Repenting as to why I chose them over my previous service provider. Perhaps their tall claim of 5mbps speed fooled me.                               Hi this is manas my account id -1038078, my complaint_id -9308164. my broadband is not working from 4/2/2014 but i registered complain at 5/02/2014 but not getting any response from hattway.I talked to the manager of mumbai(hattway customer care) but he also told me your issue is resolve till 10/02/14 i.e they are taking 5 days to resolve but unfortunately that issue is still running.They are telling always lie there manager (Hemant-mumbai branch)also.i called minimum 20 times to hattway customer care. please take necessary action to the manager and the engineer who didn't call me till now.

                                I had taken Hathway account in Dec 2012. My Name is Mukund Harale and my account No. is 954604. My contact # is [protected].
                                I had done initial payment of 1630 Rs for the activation and first month's bill. Hathway credited that Cheque to somebody else's name and charged me a late fee of Rs 50 in my first bill. Upon questioning, they said we will correct it in next bill. Till date I had registered so many complaints about internet not working and asked for Compensation for loss of my money due to down time.                                 I am calling them since August 2013 and asking about Compensation and they said that it has been forwarded to Backend team. 6 months they are not able to resolve my issue...

                                Finally I have asked for Account Termination on 8 Feb 2014 (Snehal Palkar ) and they said it will take 45 days to process the request. Also, since my Account is deactive already, they said they will not generate Bills.

                                Please take strict action against this company which has bad connectivity and also poor customer care providers.They call us to pay bills and when we ask them to call back they never call us.
                                This is problem with all Internet providers !!

                                  Hathway internet are almost down.
                                  Whenever you sit on the net and try to connect it shows error.
                                  If it is working then speed is less.

                                  At night they make their system logout automatically which sucks a lot.

                                  If you call customer care a bihari or uneducated people pick the phone and waste your time.

                                  THIS IS TO THE OWNER OF THE HATHWAY... YOU WILL BURN IN HELL.

                                      Hi, My Hathway ac no 919704, Jyotsna from Mumbai. Recently, I am using Hathway's "Ultra 1 MB Prepaid Unlimited" (NO FUP) plan. "No FUP" means no fair usage policy apply to this plan. Since last 2 weeks, am having bad speed around 0.4Mbps to 0.6Mbps speed during day time and at night getting around 0.12Mbps to 0.3Mbps. Even after requesting Hathway Support to fix my connection issue since last 1 week, nothing is changed.Am getting same minimum speed while I have paid for 1Mbps(NO FUP) plan. I have sent so many speedtest.net result's screen shots and results weblink to Hathway, But still my issue is not resolved.                                       Hathway took 15 days to identify and resolve my problem. For this issue, I called the same sales guy who had offered me that Internet Plan, and thankfully He was very supportive. Also I had sent email to nodal officer, so one senior engineer from their support team contacted me, who helped to identify the main problem.

                                        I was happy with the broadband, and I would not renew service for three months but only one more month and then change to another connection. The connection is going off again and again from last one month. On the website, I could never check my usage even after putting the credentials as guided by Hathaway customer care.

                                        I've installed Hathway connection a month back. It worked good for a month only. Now after the first recharge the connection is very slow and in a week time the connection went off thrice. I'm using the 10gb at 5mbps speed plan 1 point something GB out of 10gb is still left but the speed is so poor right now that on WhatsApp I'm not able to send text. But my GB consumption is still on no matter if I'm getting the speed or not. Pethetic customer service always pick the call after 4 to 5 minutes of hold. So pissed off right now with the service I would love to get a feed back on my issue

They said that on first day that was 13 july 2016 i used 10 gb of data which i never did. I will not be using hathway any more and i will not even suggest anyone. Company is cheater and i iam even thinking about consumer forum to get my money back
                                        Since August 24, 2016 I am using Hathway Broadband Connection and I have not experienced any problem regarding connectivity. I am getting 50 Mbps speed almost regularly though on two or three occasions I noticed slightly low speed of 25 - 40 Mbps. During initial days I had a Quota issue but it was sorted out though Nodal Officer /Appellate Authority (?) never replied me back despite repeated calls and e-mails. May be there is no tradition of replying in Hathway Organisation particularly among top bosses.
