Respected Sir/Madam, My account No. is 238071.I am writing you this letter to request you to extend my usage period. I recently opted for the HD1 STREAM data usage plan. It requires a change in the modem.My plan was activated after I renewed the plan however my modem was not replaced so I couldn't use my net and it got wasted for 2 months.And now they are asking me to renew the package but due to your poor customer service I lost my 2 months.     I am using Hathway cable service since last 2 yrs but suddenly the Star Sports channel's has stopped when I asked the cable operator has said that Hathway has not paid the money to the channels he started charging an extra amount for these channels even after paying for these channel's cannot be seen

    The channel can be viewed now, but when ever I make a payment to the cable operator he does not give any receipts for it and till date he has not given even a single receipt

    Again the Star Sports channels cannot be viwed from 1st Oct also now Zee channels canot be seen moreover still there are no receipts provided by the cable operator even after asking...

      I am using hathway since last year. I have combo offer- SD Combo Lite Quarterly plan. In this we have to pay a lumpsum amount for both inclusive digital cable and internet quarterly. I am paying for the same through the internet. But, every month they are cutting the cable services for not paying the bill. What the rubish is this. After so many call to customer care and the local offices. They are continuing the service and again they are cutting next month inspite the whole amount is paid already.I dont know what the hell is this. I have paid, I have reciept, transection id and every proof. but they are interrupting the service due to not paid. It means they are not reffering the whole cutomer data or they are maintaining there own register without reffering the data. Please do something for this hell operation of the hathway company or otherwise ban the company for such frauds.

        Hathway cable has horrible (actually non-existent) customer service. Firstly, they have discontinued star sports from their regular package, and want customers to pay on a monthly basis. However, when requesting to recharge, we have to call them again and again - and have to call at least 4-5 people. even then, they do not care about the customer, and will not even answer their calls. Such people do not deserve to be doing any business. Shameless!

          Since i got this so called high speed connection of 50 mbps i have never been able to see the promised speed except for few occassions when the engineer was present at my house. I have made several complaints to hathway on their call centre but only once they sent me an engineer-my last complaints were on 20 july 2014 and 21 july 2014 which even after assurance has still not been addressed. I seriously doubt their capability to provide sustained high speed at 50 mbps or near about and they are just cheating indian public-my last written complaint is as under-on 22 july 2014:

          Sir
          I am forwarding this mail along with my correspondance on 21 may 14.
          1. After my mail of 21 may 14, your engineer mr umesh visited my place and set the problem right.
          2. For a few days the connection worked ok but with reduced speed of 8 mbps and i have complained several times for the lower speed of connection-you can check it from yr voice recording about my complaints.
          3.On11(Jagdish) and 16 june(I dont remember name) again i gave complaints that the connection was dead and even after the entire exercise of resetting-disconnecting etc the connection did not start and i was told that the engineer will visit as they were unable to reset/start the connection from technical dept.
          4. I was so fed up with the connection that i stopped using it and started using my old airtel connection which i had planned to disconnect if hathway worked well.
          5. I thought probably my down load limit might have exceeded and i did not use hathway connection till june end.
          6.In july i tried using the hathway connection as the entire 25 gb of highspeed download would be to my account. On 19th i tried first and then on 20th july again. No luck...In spite of talking with mangesh-durgesh-shezad-prathmesh during several times during the days of 21st and 22nd july 14 i could not restart high speed connection-first of all, the connection would drop time and again and when it was on the speed was around 3.3 to 3.8mbps-way below 50 mbps for which i have paid you on your assurance.
          7. I have list of complaints in june and july 2014 which has remained unattended but the last two are 10254242 and 10260563. Both the times i was told that the engineer would visit and check and set the problem right on the same day.
          8. I am sending this mail in the evening of 22nd(8 pm) and no one from hathway has even called me to find out if the issue is set right or not.
          9. My submission is as under :
          A) since you have not been able to provide me a consistent reliable connection at the promised 50 mbps speed(Upto 25 gb pm of high speed download) in spite of my several complaints, i assume that it is technically not possible for you to give me the promised connectivity at the promised speed on a sustained basis.
          B) i can send you the data of download speed taken on speedtest.Net site if you want to see but i am sure with the high technical resources at your end you can easily verify the speed of my usage as well as downloads all along after taking this high speed connection.
          C) as suggested by your engineer when he visited on 21 may 14, i have also purchased and kept ready one extra wif router thinking that perhaps my old d link router may be malfunctioning.-but since no one has come i could not use the new router to make sure of this aspect.
          D) our temrs of contract clearly mentioned that i am allowed 25 gb of highspeed download at 50 mbps speed under this new scheme. I am quite certain that none of my down loads could ever see the speed corresponding to 50 mbps spped after i took this connection and if need be it can be easily ascertained at your end also.
          E) i want immediate resolution of my continuous problem and in case you are not able to do so kindly refund my money and disconnect your connection and take back your modem as i have no use for the dead equipment at my residence.
          F) pl also note that my first quarter is coming to an end in august and there is no way you can expect me to continue if you donot improve the service and offer me what i am paying for.

          I hope you will take this in the right spirit and some one at your end will wake up to save me from the harassment and difficulties i have been facing all along after taking this plan.

          I took the connection 3 days agao.and facing the same issue.it is never reaching the or never clos to the speed.it is floating between 1-2 mbps always.it was offered 50mbps. They are cheating people.i am not sure who to contact to escalate. Any help in this regards very much appreciated.it is a prepaid connection and already made 3370 rupees in advance.

            We are facing frequent network coverage issue. I have complained many time to Hathaway thane office but no concern person was replied about this problem every time security guard will pick up the phone & he said call to customer care department. We as a company we required Internet connection to run day to day operations. We also intimate them if you've any service issues please informed us in advance but they say that there are technical issue in my area which will resolve soon. UAE Exchange & Financial Services Ltd.               Hi, On September 2013, I applied for Hathway broadband connection and they provided with a cable connection with no USERNAME and PASSWORD. Despite of having any username and password and unable to use the internet connection, we were charged a sum of Rs.562 and Rs.787 respectively by Hathway billingdesk. Since then I am sending them mail asking them queries regarding my bills and my connections but I am getting no response from Hathways cutomer care end. I even went to Hathway Kirki Office, Pune and still got no response from customer care executives present there. I sent another mail today on July 26' 2014 and waiting for the response. But it seems it's of no use. Please assist me on what I should do to get my queries settled from Hathway Broadband Service.                 My ac no. is 1034952. This is the worst internet connection. No one even bothers to call you back after receiving a complaint. On 21st July, I made a complaint but till now one has contacted me. Everyday there is a problem of no connectivity. Their call centre is just useless. Every time the connection is off and on. Sometimes there is no connectivity for hours. It is not even like a passenger train which stops at all station, rather like a goods train shunted for hours on the side tracks.                   With reference
                  to the above subject, I would like to bring a few points to your notice
                  regarding the poor service I have been receiving from Hathway Cable &
                  Datacom Ltd.I had taken a new Wi-fi network connection from Hathway (A/c No.1127542) on 11.06.2014
                  after paying 3 months deposit in advance. Now, there is a problem in the
                  network connection from the past 1 week i.e. from 18.07.14. I had raised a
                  complaint on the next day i.e. 19.07.14 and the attending official told me that
                  they would clear the issue the same day. But, there was no solution made. Each
                  day I call up and complain, they say that the problem will be solved soon. I
                  have already talked to Mr.Nishant, Mr.Nitin & Customer Care. Each one gave
                  me a different answer. When one said the fibre was cut, another said that there
                  was some problem in the junction box. Whatever be the issue, my problem
                  was not solved. I also called up the nodal officer, Mr.Jigar on 23.07.14. He
                  promised me that the connection will be restored by 24.07.14 but, again there
                  was no solution. Today, after 7 days, when I called up the nodal Officer, he
                  said that he would get back to me within 2 minutes. But, still no response.
                  Now, when I called up Mr.Jigar, his phone is switched off, Mr.Nishant is not
                  answering my call and absolutely no reponse from anybody.


                  What sort of
                  service is this? During the time of taking the connection itself we had
                  informed hathway that we will be available at home only after 5.30 pm from
                  Mon-Fri. The same had been repeated while lodging the complaint also. Yet, your
                  official said that he found the house locked when he came here today for
                  complaint resolution. Are you trying to make a fool o[censored]s? How do you expect us
                  to be at home when we had already informed you that we will not be available at
                  home before 5.30pm. Every day we call, your officers reply that the problem
                  will be solved by evening. And once it is evening, nobody picks up the call. If
                  we delay the payment by even one day, you levy a fine on us. Now, what do you
                  have to say for the 7 days we had to endure without the connection? I
                  request you to cancel my account and refund my money at the earliest. In case
                  of further delay, I will be forced to lodge a complaint with the Consumer
                  Court.

                    My hathway account number is 414377 and i am a member of Hathway broadband from the year 2008. I always recharged my account in advance and maintained a healthy account balance so that my internet doesn't get disconnected. I changed my home on June 1st 2014. At that point hathway has an amount of 1200/- as cash balance and the existing pack of 3 months for which only one month was consumed is present with Hathway. Hathway team told that they can't do away with 3 months pack and will refund only cash balance. Now they are not even refunding my cash balance which is unfair. Order them to provide the cash balance of 1200/-

                      was using Hathway broadband at myplace for last 6 months.then I renewed my account for another 6 months. Although I had many problems with error 651. Hathway representative told me they have improved service.so I took it. Now after setting up my connection yesterday..the technician didn't correctly crimped the broadband wire.and its not showing indicated light..its so loose that frequently I loose my connection..my complain number is 10280913.. And account number is 1036962... And error 651 continue to apper .its not resolving..another complaint number is 10274694

                      There is still no technician attended my house.problem still persist..I called to Hathway customer care number [protected] for twenty times they assure me from morning that engineer is on his way.this is really annoying service.no follow up from Hathway.my mobile number [protected]. And account no.1036962. Email id- [protected]@gmail.com. I just used my internet for 2 hours and now since 50 hours its not working. have I paid you for this? Tomorrow is Saturday and plz solve my problem of error 651 and crimping...

                        Hi All, I am using Hathway broadband connection from Vivekananda nagar colony, KPHB, hyderbad. It is always having connection issue and very very poor customer service. Now I have to continue for 3months because I paid three months rental but 100% i will change to other provider ater that. This is my experience so don't take this connection any more if you are looking up 100% connection and planning for work from home option. 0% guarantee on this connection. Thanks, Srinivas

                          I have complained (4) times since July 12th, 2014, due to poor Internet speeds. Everytime the customer care representative has guaranteed the issue will be solved next day. Every time I have asked to speak to a manager on floor I have not been forwarded to the manager. The standard response is by tomorrow the issue will be resolved.

                            I applied for a Hathway ‘HD Stream 2’ internet connection in Frazer Town, Bangalore. On 10/07/2014 I paid their representative Niranjan Nanja from St. John’s Road office a sum of Rs 2375 (Receipt No. BLRISP/6783) after he falsely promised me that they have everything set up and I’ll have my connection in 2 days. It’s been almost 2 weeks since then and nobody has come to my house to fix the connection. Since the day I paid him he’s been ignoring my calls, I called their customer care multiple times and every time I got the same generic response “We have forwarded your complaint, you will be contacted soon”. I even tried e-mailing the Nodal officer and I didn't get a reply from him also. In my most recent talk with their customer care I found out that they haven’t even started with laying down the cables in that area. It’s surprising and shocking to see a company lying to their customers from day one and engaging in such shady practices. I can’t believe how they can even have customers when they are so incompetent that they can’t even fix a connection in 2 weeks or for that matter even start working towards it. To all the people who are thinking of taking their internet, refrain yourself from doing it, go for anyone else but them because their service is not worth the mental torture.                               Dear Mr. M.V.Rajgopal, This is to bring to your attention that my internet connection is not working since the day I shifted from one locality to another ( i.e. from Koramangla 5th block to 4th block). I initially gave proper request through mail and customer care regarding reinstallation and asked the hathway engineers to come on 10th but they didn't come on 10th inspite of my repeated reminders. Engineers later on came and did the reinstallation after few days but it was not satisfactory as the net was not working at all. It's been 12 days that my net is not working. In between, Their has been around 50 different calls to your engineers and customer care departments but it's been no use. One of the service engineers who came to check the connection has stopped attending our calls ( his number is [protected]. Then I had to call from different number . He then picked and gave me the reason that he was on leave which I believe is a completely false reason and would ask you to take strong action against your employee. Also your hathway office in Koramangla 5th block is often deserted with no person to attend any customer. It is often left open . There is no one present inside the server room. I will bring to your notice that I have already paid for 3months and i am not getting any service. Under this circumstances, I will lodge a proper case against you in consumer court and would rant in social media which i believe is the only option left now. I want the solution by today.                               This is to complain regarding bad service provided by Hathway
                              My customer no is : 1279685

                              I have availed broadband connection . However every other day the link remains not active.
                              Recently the network is down since 6:00 pm (30 may) till now (12 noon - 31 May)
                              Complaint number for same is 12949299 .
                              Customer care associates tell us to wait for 4 hours . Its more than 14 hours and no action has been taken on the same.

                              In the past too, there are issues with the network and no access is there for 3 hrs to 14 hours at times.

                              I am tired of registering complains. I do not see any immediate action being taken care .
                              Also, many times the customer care no -[protected] do not even provide the complaint number .

                              Kindly let me know how these inactive hours shall be compensated in my bill .
                              Since you charge for 24*7 broadband connection, these issue hours ie when the connection is not available should also be compensated .
                              You charge for complete months, however if these issue hours are added up, it seems you are able to skip 2-3 days every month .

                              Awaiting for the compensation procedure.

                                I am pooja verma. ph no :[protected]. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with hathway services. Its been a week that the modem is not functioning. I do not have internet. I have complained and tried everything. No one cares to replace it. Moreover they just say it will be done today and leave you waiting. Even customer care calls, they take 15min to answer a call. I have asked, better take away the connection, still no response. I am making sure to file this complaint so that I am not asked to pay for a connection which is not working at all.

                                  Hi, I have applied for hathway connection on 5 Jul 2014. After repeated calling Mr Yogesh Dwivedi, the sales representative and the customer care, I got the modem and the wiring done on 19th Jul 2014. The modem guy told us that there is some issue in the line and some other guy within 1 hour will contact me to get it fixed and then the connection will be active. Till this time my connection is not active. I called the customer care to know my hathway account details, he said that my billing has started from 19th Jul 2014. When asked why billing is started without the connection being active he did not have any good answer. He has given me the complaint number 10167212. About the services, I mailed twice to the ncr.[protected]@hathway.net and did not get any response. Please resolve my issue and also try to improve the customer care. Details: A/c - 1140177

                                    Name : Tarun Udeshi Hathway account number : 994048 Mobile : [protected] I have subscribed for Hathway Broadband 50 mbps Internet connection. The connectivity often breaks. It is not stable at all. It works sometime & gets disconnected on regular basis. Every time the connectivity breaks I have to call up on customer care number & they in turn send their engineer the following day to resolve the issue. The issue gets resolved but on temporary basis only. Same thing is repeating time & again from past over one month. I am not able to get permanent solution at all. This is ridiculous & my lot of time & energy is wasted on regular basis running behind Hathway customer care. Is there a soultion to my problem or should I discontinue using Hathway Broadband ????

                                      This is to bring to your notice that I being a new Hathway customer am highly displeased with your services. Connection number: 1106112 Firstly, I order a Router and despite numerous follow ups, the router arrives after 10 to 12 days along with the technician to connect who comes even later to shift the connection from first floor to second floor. Secondly, Your backend mailer response team doesnt know basic english and asks me which address has the connection to be shifted to despite it being mentioned clearly that it is from first floor to second. Thirdly, Your sales executives just sell the connection and dont explain it well.. where to recharge, how to change it to post paid and things like that. Fourth, After recharding on 15th of July (last day for 3 mnt services to get over), my connection gets deactivated still on 16th. How do you explain this??? Hathway is the worst connection I have come across. I lost 10 to 12 days of my existing data just like that as I didnt have the technician come and fix the connection. And now, another day goes away without much hope from you guys. How do you explain this. I will have to drag you guys to consumer court soon if you do nothing about all this. Regards Arpita

                                      Hi,
                                      I have been a customer of Hathway Broadband for 4 years. My account number is :882153 (Surat). I have 256kbps-1024 kbps day/night combo plan.
                                      For the last 9 days I have been getting really bad service. After 9 pm when I am supposed to get 1024 kbps (1 Mbps) I am getting speeds below 12kbps or 0.10 Mbps (speedtest.net). I waited for a day assuming the problem may solve itself. After that I have called hathway customer service for atleast 10 times and each time got the same false promise that someone will be sent to check it. But no one has come after 10 days.
                                      The customer care people seem unprofessional and unsupervised. I see same type of complaints on the internet. So I assume you people really don`t care about your customers once toy get paid for the year. You have also been hosting your modem/router on my terrace which uses electricity from my electricity connection. I am yet to receive any payment or compensation for that. I tried to contact surat nodal officer but the contact given on Hathway website is outdated as that officer has left and no contact for new officer is available. I am really angry and will complain related authority about this. This is just a formal notification of my complaint.

                                        Dear Sir, I am a customer of Hathway Broadband Services from 27th June, 2014 approximately. They gave me a corrupted Modem for which I was facing problems from the very first week. Now it is not working for 4 last days and I have lodged a complain in Hathway on 14th July. One of their support guy promised me that it will be replaced within the same day. From then, I have called Hathway customer service 8 times and each times they said that it will be done within next 3 hours. It is 3 days over now and now just 10 minutes before they said again that it will be done on the next day because their engineers will not work after 6 PM. Before that they had said that it will be done within 6PM today. I am facing problems without the Internet service.                                         I is resolved after 3 days of the lodge of the complain.They replaced the modem and now it is running well. Thanks for the support you provided.

                                        Yesterday at 8 PM one person called me from +[protected] and said that engineers will come to my house within an hour. I waited until 9:41 PM but they did not come. I called them and they said that it will be done on the next day. Today I called them at 10:34 AM and they are now saying that it will be done at the end of today. This is really frustrating for me. Please take necessary steps to resolve this problem.
