Hello, I am staying in Parimala Trinity Kadubeesanhalli Bangalore. I got a hathway connection 1 month back. I was given an old set top box on the price of new confirming that a new one would be given soon. But when asked about it after 15 days, response given was that nothing will be given. First 15 days of getting the connection there was screeching sound coming from the connection and even after calling repeatedly no redressal was given. Now past 10 days no channel is coming except for DD which is as is free still no one is listening to the complaint. I had taken the connection through a local dealer of Hathway. Owner name is Mahesh on panathur road kadubeesanhalli. I want to return the set top box and need immediate redressal to the same. Hathway overall is a horrible connection and provides useless redressal/service. Surabhi Bangalore

    I have taken Hathway Broadband Connection having Customer Id 1065816. I am very much disappointed with the service provided by Hathway. Ever since I had taken the connection I am facing problem with the connection, Mainly it's due to unreliable wireless router provided by Hathway. Frequently internet gets disconnected and is restored by disconnecting wireless router power supply and connecting back. This is a frequent feature. Complaints were made in the past no action was taken to rectify this defect. History of the complaints recorded are mentioned below. 9164710 dated 01/01/'14 9167487 dated 02/01/'14 9170332 & 9171439 dated 03/01/'14 9171543 dated 05/01/'14 9187806 dated 06/01/'14 9238096 dated 19/01/'14 9648878 dated 22/04/'14 5682031 dated 30/04/'14 9931815 dated 10/06/'14 Till date no action has been taken to rectify this issue. This is taking the customers for a ride. Having had such a bad experience, I have no option other than media and consumer form for the benefit of the public.

Is it guys are preparing " Separate Modem" for my use? Customer care guys gave some manager number Number is not at all lifting the phone..( Manjunath reddy:[protected]. To Whom I have to contact.. Either contact HathWay owner or divisional branch manager I am not understanding?. HATHWWAY SERVICE IS THE ONE OF THE WORST SERVICE I FACED RECENT TIMES...Finally I urged them at least let me know how to cancel the connection... that will be appreciated!!! But, they are not canceling the account also. Please Help Us!!!

      Please go to dealer office during peak hour and throw modem on the manager's face in front of customers. Ask him to cancel connection and refund money. This is how it works in this never-developing country. Case closed.

        i am kannan from hyderabad my hathway account number - 1091581.

        they promised me 3 + 1 month of internet broad band connection. and they have disconnected in the 3rd month.

        what happened to that 1 month. i will not stop posting this until my issue is resolved. every day ten times i will post.

        they are asking for the bill now from were i will get the bill after 3 months ok fine i got one and gave them now they tell this is not the bill, actually it should be written on the bill that it is a 3+1 month pack.

        how do a customer knows about all these - we pay and they cheat.

        they called me again and now they are telling to renew for 2 months and they will give 1 month extra free. but what happened to my previous 1 month.

        This sucks - i wount leave this - Hathway customer care - get my number from my account number all have to call me and resolve this issue.

          The day I thought of opting for Broadband Hathway (In Pune- Wakad) that sure was the bad day to come up with such bad decision. As we all were working we asked the sales guy to come after 7pm to collect the money and fill the form - He didn't mind coming at that time and we submitted the form and money ...Then it literally took 2 weeks to get the connection after all the chasing ( that was horrible don't want to mention that now) . So at last I got the connection thought things will be fine now but NO ...next trouble begins. After every 2 day usage the connection is lost then it takes two more days by when things get resolve . I call the customer care and mention very clearly that I won't be available before 6:30 so please send someone after that if required or else if things can be solved at your end then please do it But still technician will call me in morning or noon hour and say are Iam there can you check out... I need to repeat the same thing every time that I am not available at this time (When it was collecting money they didn't had problem coming after 7pm but when it comes to resolving issue they can't come after 6:30pm), Then it happened once there was no connection and it was Saturday and I was at home ..so when technician called and checked if I am at home I said yes please come and do the needful so that I don't have to face the issue again and again but no one showed up neither my issue was resolved - I kept calling customer care but no use. So the issue still goes after every 2 days the connection is lost ...this is the last time I am going to see if logging a complaint helps in any way or not else going to close my connection .

            My Hathway account no is 1124557.Its been more than 10 days since my account got activated and the internet connection does not work.One day it worked for 10 min and next 2 days it didn't work.I have already raised so many service requests and all the service requests have been closed with a status saying that issue has been rectified where as no technician came to my place to fix this issue nor i received any call from Hathway.Whenever i call up Hathway Customer care and the tell me that it will be rectified within 24 hours.Only god knows when that 24 hours will come.How can i file a complain against Hathway and sue this company?They are cheating all the customer.                 hi I am using hathway broadband. The package is 50mbps @ 5500 for six months . While installing they promised that they will definitely provide downloading speed of nearly 50mbps, but in reality the downloading speed is not more than 1mbps!!. Very poor connection even my reliance data card working better than hathway broadband connection. last 25 days i was contact number of persons related to Hathaway customer care and help line peoples only false hopes and stated that only signals problem and it will be rectify by another person am not the concerned the same story repeated and even though they not responding to my calls. they got full package money what else they want ?customer care go to hell and i ask for refunds no use better don't look for hathway try a new reliance or beam connections syed altaf ahmed

While installing they promised that they will definitely provide downloading speed of nearly 50mbps, but in reality the downloading speed is not more than 1mbps!!.                     I am an existing customer of hatchway broadband. I have been suffering from continue disconnection and regarding that I received more than 16 complain numbers. And now they added upto another problem continue fluctuation of speed. I have ultra 1 mbps plan and I am getting speed 300-400 kbps. I even received complain number for that also[protected] But that’s not all the worst part is their customer care representatives behavior. 1. They feed you false information 2. According to their policy they you would get a call back from their tech team within 2 hours you register complain. But past 4 months I never received any call back 3. You will lose your money as their customer care is paid 4. Even though you do not use any abusive language they disconnect the call( it happens on 3-6-2014, Representative name Chaitanya, time: 7:40 pm) 5. Regarding their behavior I even complain to nodal officer but nothing happen 6. And never be able reach nodal officer number no matter how many times you try.

                      I have paid fro renewal of broadband plan on 25th may 2014. but even after 10 days same is not renewed and also no modem is installed as it was a change in plan to 50 mbps. your customer care people register the complaint but without resolving the same it is removed from system. please see my complaint no 9845846. it is cleared from your side in system.

                        I am user of internet services of rajesh- hathway internet services in vikhroli
                        Mumbai-400083. Have taken 1 year plan of internet speed of 1mbps and unlimited download.

                        They serivice is inconsistent, & their service people in the area do not pick up the phone whenever u call them. If they pick up they keep saying someone will be there to help but nobody turns up. You need to call them multiple times to get the query fixed.

                        People named naresh and dinesh argue & fight on the phone who are suppose to help with problem resolution. They directly say do watever you want and are not scared of any consquences.

                        I am fed up with their service, please do take some action, and teach them a lesson.
                        I would be cancelling my services from them and want a refund of my entire sum paid

                            My internet stopped working two days back as your company people kindly changed our modem voluntarily. i was told the net would start within an hour. since that time, i have registered numerous complaints and have been taken for a ride by your company people...You safely have the worst service record and should not be in this industry. i was promised A TECHNICIAN BUT NOBODY CAME ...as apparently we had a signal...I was just doing time pass...it has taken me two days for your people to just acknowledge that my complaint is genuine...My daughter is an ib student...is she supposed to sit in an internet cafe all night/???                             dear sir, My name is Raju from chembur, mumbai.My attachment with Hathway is when started staying at mumbai.But recently I am thinking to break that attachment due to dull response from customer care in connection with internet which is not working since 28th Aug till now.Idid not understand why they are doing like this.NOw a days there are two three competitor are already in the market which is offering good service and afterall at low cost.kindly look into the matter.My hathway internet account no _477116

                            I am paying 850 INR every month and even i tried to send an email but i didn't find any email id in Hathway Website.
                            My internet not working properly. My account no is 1207625 and my complain is 13276274 on 01/07/2015 and second complain no is 13299861 on 04/07/2015 today is 10/07/2015 but still my problem not solved. I daily call to customer care and they always say same thing "Your Complain will be solve today". My connection work only from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and other time my connection not work also some time connection speed approx 900 bits to 9kb. I attached my connection speed proof.

                            from Last month my internet not working. I have been complaint in customer care many times but nothing response. I am frustrating hathway services.

                              Dear hathway Service i am Quazi Aziz Hossain Haider having consumer of Barasat, kolkata-700124, West Bengal
                              at ghola kazipara, taki road, barasat police station, kolkata-700124. I am suffering every month regularly not seen all channels, like as 749 Hammar tv, Both repeat StarCJ no. 9 and 657 and HomeShop no. 16 and 656. And also not seen STARsports all chnnels and NEO sports all channel's and SUN music and cinema channels UDAYA music and cinema channels. I have complained since 3 to 4 months continuously, but my cable Operater is not serious about Me he is pick my phone but he says always this is the Hathway company problem, I have already complained company but he said this is the cable operator problem. (And also another problem is continuing like as illiterate people when he want a box connection attach their house, there is five house connection for five different rates for re-connection in lieu of wire connection. ) This is fraud Rupees for poor people.                                 Since last two days my HD channesl are not working and I get an error saying "Please call your Cable Operator/[protected]@y Office to subscribe to this channel(4) " Whereas I already have subscribed to these channels . my STB is an HD STB connected via HDMI.                                   I visited website of gtpl www.gtpl.net. There was a toll free number [protected] to have customer support for inquiry. When I dialed that number it charged me 3.26 rs as international assist. So I request to take some action against this company as it would maintain transparency to all customers who trust this kind of organization.

                                      I had requested plan up-gradation from broadband to DOCSIS 3.0 line on 16th May 2014. The Hathway person activated my plan on 17th May 2014. But nobody had come to install new modem (as required by DOCSIS connection ). One Hathway Engineer (Mr. Yogesh) came on 19th May 2014 afternoon to install new modem. In my client portal showing 3GB usage on 18th May 2014, but I have not used that data. Hathway is taking responsibility of error in their system, but not ready to take any action. Because this error my speed is downgraded to 512kbps from 50mbps. This is not an appropriate way to give a service to its consumer. Account Number : 529587

                                        This could happen to any Hathway customer, they have announced a new scheme which provides 50mbps of speed of broadband internet. I too went for it by paying around 1800 rs as shown on their website. First thing they did was to take away my old modem and fixed new modem. The technician said the connection would start in next one hour but it did not start for next 15-20 days. I keep following up with the calls to their customer care everyday but nothing happened, they just said it will start but given no reason why it was being delayed. I asked them if they cant start the new connection they should at leat provide my old modem and I am happy with the old plan but they refused to do so. After frustrating I visited their office on Prabhat road only to find that the money I paid online wasnt enough and I should pay subscription charges of 560 rs although I was an existing customer. After all my effort the forced me to pay those charges and after 3 days the connection started. Now I am facing another problem that the speed is too high and entire 10gb gets over in 5-6 days. I requested them to give me back the old modem and plan but they said its not possible. This experience is very disppointing. There would be many customer who may or might have suffered because of this.
