I am unable use the Internet connection from past 14 days. I am calling the customer care about the status and in reply I am getting that It has been forwarded to concerned department. If it has been forwarded, then why it is not resolved till today.

I am facing a Hugh loss in-terms of money and time.and unable to access my professional and personal mails. I have requested to resolve the issue then disconnect the connection and refund the amount back.

This is the 10th time where I am facing the same problem from day one.

Last Friday one of the technician came and has done something and left without confirming that whether my Internet connection is working or not.I told the customer care to escalate the issue and that is not done till date.

I am calling customer care and nordel officer till date but no use. They are taking this many days just to chnage a cable wire.

Hathway Broadband — Irresposible Management

Hi All,

i am srinivas.. i contacted sales executive of hathway for braodband connection ... And I paid the Intial amount 940 rs on 7/6/2009. at that time executive said, " u can get ur connection in 24 hours" . and days goes on... HE didn't lift phone when i called for him to inquire about connection... this drama went for 4 days... i directly called to customer care and raised a complaint... they said " u will get ur connection in 24 hours" again. i called to customer care about 5 times i think... at last they said the status of my application is updated to "not possible". that is there is no possibility of broadband connection of hathway in my area... But the executive take money for a connection... i am only asking is .. as sales executive he has to know about the possibility... ok leave that fellow... I decided to apply for refund... i applied for refund on 13/6/09. that also we have to apply it in the main office (Somajiguda). till the date i didn't get the money. they said when applied for refund " u will get money in 5 days" . but this is 15th day . Totally i want to say is... hathway is worst in customer support and management. don't go for hathway... totally i lost 300 rs for phone calls, transportation to somajiguda, important one is mental torture and valuable time.
Called on 23 stating not able to connect to Internet. Reason that modem was not mapped to server was informed and complain was registered resolution time 24 to48 hours. I called again on 27 to check the status cc exec says complain is resolved disconnected the call.previous call was also disconnected when asked for higher manager.poor customer service.more important is problem id not yet resolved.call center no is not getting connected.need a priority resolution.when it comes to renewals its done in minutes but when it comes to resolution no one bothers to resolve problem.i have a yearly renewal hence once it end i will never go with hath way anymore.also on informing to connect to manger the cc guy did not transfer account no 363094 complain no 7511297

    Hello sir , my name is rajesh agarwal with CCR no 939454..i am forced to write to you because of pathetic sales personnel and pathetic call centre service which is in place at your company.
    Let me explain the scenario to you.
    I was using tikona limited plan earlier and was very happy with their services for past 2 years but now I was looking for a unlimited plan and beam cable for delaying the connection so on your sales person’s continues insistence I took the connection at two place (one at my home 7 months @3600 and one at shop sardar patel nagar for 12 months @6000.
    I was needing an urgent connection (as we have some urgent paper work to be completed at home which can be done at cafes )that’s why I didn’t wait for beam cable and took your company’s connection as the sales person promised its gonna be next day working..
    On 26th sep I was made to pay for both the connections..The name of the sales person is Praveen ([protected])
    On 28th sep the person installs the cable line but could not check the working of the line as there was no electricity at my house.
    When I call him after 30 mins saying there is no link light on the modem. He disconnects the call.
    We tried to called him again and again and he disconnected the call when I called from and unknown number ,he tells us he cant do anything about it in rude and unprofessional manner and asks us to call centre number.
    When we are calling this call centre number [protected], it does not connect at all we tried whole evening and could reach them only in the night when agent disconnected after I yelled him for the service.
    Next morning I called Praveen again as I am under the understanding that it is the responsibility of the agent to make sure connection is working for the first and then the call centre comes into picture.
    On 29th we called him again asking for help, he tells us he is going to come in few hours every time we call him
    I spoke with your call centre some 4 times on 30th and 1st and there has been no positive response from their side.
    When we speak with Praveen about sardar patel connection he says he can’t provide connection at place after 6 days of receiving cheque and that too when we bugged him daily.
    At the call centre we spoke with Santosh (badge ID 5451)
    Now please pay attention to what Mr. Santosh thinks about the concept of a company.
    He answered it is not his lookout what contract you had with the agent when we asked about the delay in the connection as it was urgent for us.
    I have missed my working deadline and going to face some serious issue over that .now my question is how can some one be so irresponsible.
    Mr. Santosh says that it does not matter to him if I don’t think service is not good as it your opinion and it does bother him
    And says I can anything I want it does not matter him.
    I have handled team for customer service and understand how this business works and it is shame this is how your company works
    5 days on and I am still without the connection..you might have a reason but misleading customer in this way shows how irresponsible the company is..

    I am going to put this letter with all my details to different consumer court websites and you will surely get to hear from them.
    It is not about 3600 or 6000 it is about the faith that we put into a company.
    I am sure I will get the connection in a day or two but if someone has to speak up and tell you guys it does not work this way.
    It is shame that when I ask for a supervisor at your call centre, your agent Santosh says that there is no one above him.
    I don’t know how much business you guys have but I am to make sure that more and more people know about your pathetic service here in Hyderabad and in Mumbai
    I have also sent a written letter to the Mumbai registered office in Santa Cruz to make sure people at the top know whats happening at the grass root level.

    Truly said, one of the worst service providers.
    Service providers like these must be thrown out of the industry and be fined a hefty amount.

    Also, it is interesting that whenever you ask for an escalation point they say we don't have anyone above us. Looks like all of the customer service representatives feel that they own the Company.

      Dear Sir,

      I recently installed 230 channels setup box in my house thro' Doddabommasandra Chetan cable. Disney kids channels are not coming. In your list this two disney channels are mentioned as Sl.No. 410 &411. Please arrange both disney kids channels to my hathway setup box thro' Chetan Cable Network and do the needful.

      Otherwise, we shift other DTH Service providers for these two channels.

        I am using Hathway internet connection from past couple of years as a regular user

        My account no is 690043 (Thane). I am using Ultra 512 Plan.

        From last 15 day's my internet is not working properly, i have complain to Hathway too many time but they are not giving proper response to me and when i call to customer care they put my phone on hold for few minutes and then disconnect the phone.
        Yesterday (16/09/2012) i called 6 time but they didn't give proper response one person told to me that your net is working fine another told it is showing offline at server. when i said i want to talk to senior person they just disconnect the phone in one min.

        before expiry date ,i have called them several times regarding renewal of my a/c.they did not take proper action.finally they disconnected my service without prior information.now i have lost my outstnding download limit.when i consulted them they behaved badly and rejected my request.due to their irrespomsibility i lost lot of money
        dear balu,

        Hathway is meant for corporate users and not for individual, second they check their feasibility to provide the local area where you resides. whenever they think that in your locality there is no more business aspects they discontinue or forfeit there present customers facility. so don't bother about their rude behavior. Just stop wondering towards them and take MTNL's or BSNL's TriBand or DataOne service respectively, it will definitely fulfill your requirements. The only way to discourage Hathway is kick-off their membership or subscription and encourage other ISPs (except Airtel Broadband and Tata Indicom).
        My internet is too slow and I sent several mails regarding it but no response from your side. I am a regular customer of hathway even though I subscribe for 256 kb/sec but my actual speed is less than 100 kb/sec, my account no is 204839. new liteway 6 GB
        HAthway Hyderabad SUCKS! The worst ever company providing internet services in Hyderabad. Half cooked technical people and the worst customer care call center in India probably.

        I had some recurring problems in my connectivity and I had made complaints. They promised to send people but failed. They asked me to go to the local branch and I did so. They said that I had just one complaint placed the previous day and that the problem would be solved. It didn't. Which means that the call center people have failed to register my complaints earlier, or are avoiding in order to tell me that it is me who is at fault.

        No one picks up the phone at the call centre and it is so made up. The wait time is always 26 seconds and after 3 minutes the phone automatically disconnects. In fact I have spent more money on their IVR than calling up my parents.

        On wanting to disconnect, they offer me no refund since it is a pre-paid account, but would take away their modem since that was free. Now, I am not using the internet, and I cannot disconnect too! This nonsense is mentioned nowhere in the receipts bills I have received for my connectivity.

        In india I guess customer service has a long way to go. We are left at the mercy of these unprofessional services who promise the world but squeeze you once you are in.

        I want a refund as I hacve hardly used 1/7th of my limit and I am unable to use the rest.

        Hathway — poor internet connection, and service

        Hi,

        Never go for hathway internet connection, poor customer service.
        Their technical people don't have any knowledge to fix a problem when the problem arises.

        I have got a network connection from hathway for about 15days back of 128 kbps unlimited plan.
        The network was very slow, i was getting less than 20kbps speed. after 5 days suddenly there was some problem in the signal so i was not getting any signal for the network, i have given a compliant and so called "technical people" are still working. still it is not resolved( it is almost 10 days is over), every day i call the Customer case thy say it will be fixed by today. I have called at least some 30 times in this 10 days to get this resolved, still not resolved.

        So what i want to say is:
        hathway is cheaper.. but if we calculate the no of days the network works and the amount of money we spend on the calling customer care, it will be "double costlier" than that of the tata indicom/ airtel's cost.

        This is what i have learned about Hathway.

        So please avoid Hathway, otherwise you will experience the same.

        Can any body tell me what is the process to complain the same to consumer forum.
        the complaint is absolutely valid. Hathway is evidently the worst internet service provider. Though the plan seems to be cheap and attractive, but overall checking the connectivity speed we get, the no. of days internet works, and no. of calls made to get service from service provider makes it a most expesive affair. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HATHWAY INTERNET SERVICE TO ANYBODY

        Yes. You are absolutely right. Once hathway gets payment they forget about customers.
        I was using one hathway connection in Bangalore. I wanted to shift it to my new place and called
        59 times to customer care. Eachtime they say by end of next day they will shift my connection.
        It had been 1.5 month. Still nothing!!

        I want to escalate the matter to their superior. Does anybody know any nodal officer or area manager's
        mail id ? This is actually offense and very much non-professional behave !!!

        Hathway — NOT GIVING REFUND OF DISCONNECTION

        I START MY SERVICES ON[protected] BUT I CANT GOT PROPER SERVICES FROM HATWAY FROM THE FIRST DAY OF THE SERVICES I SEND APPLICATION FOR CLOSE MY CONECTION IN THE MONTH JUNE 2010 BUT THAT TIME EXECUTIVE GIVE COMMITEMENT THAT WE SOLVE PROBLEM IN FEW DAYS BUT NOT ANY IMPROVEMENT SO FINALLY EXECUTIVE TELL THAT U CLOSE THE CONNECTTION BCS WE CANT GIVE U PROPER SOLUTION SO I SEND AGAIN APPLICATION FOR CLOSE THE CONNECTION DUE TO NON CAPABLITY OF HATWAY TO GIVE SERVICES TO CUSTOMER ON 20TH AUG. STILL THAT DAY I CANT GOT MY REFUND PAYMENT. I PAY 5400 FOR 12 MONTHS SO PLZ HELP ME IN THIS MATTER ASAP

            I am having my account No 822457 of hathway,net

            There is an on going reoccuring connectivity problem and their costumer care or help desk are only fulfilling their routine unsatisfactory behaviour.Either they are just inadeqate for job or just fillings their days.

            About 10 to 12 days before on 30AUGUST2012 we have same issue and it was told that we are monitoring it on daily basis. Now since yesterday 10sep2012 which is hardly 11 days and help desk says that their Enginers are working on it which I am sure nothing is yet done on the matter.

            If you all are lacking back to fix such small reoccuring connectivity problem then just not fit for the job. Any way I will take this complaint to consumer court to get it resolved.

              Hi,

              i have been using my internet service from hathway internet for almost 2 years now .
              this particular complaint i made is in regards to the horrible connectivity i get using the internet service that this company provides .
              i have been using their service from a long time , and now all of a sudden from past 5-6 months , their problems are increasing as days pass . they have all sorts of problems server crashes , server problems , server maintenance , server downtime
              their customer care executives are dumb as hell , they are like the perfect sitting ova there !
              i happened to use their service , for a decent 1 mbps connection they charge me 1200 rs , which by far isnt less or affordable much as today many ISPs provide this at a cheaper price . the good thing that kept me to hathway internet was that their downlaods on sundays arent counted , u can download to u r free will as much as u want
              from past 1-2 months , unfortunately this isnt happening , i am nt even getting a promised speed of like 80% of 1mbps , i m merely getting a surfing speed of 0.11 mbps and downlaod speed , well don't ask , its worst than a dial up connection !
              also many a times the login facility of hathway doesn't work well , u get stuck on the screen for minutes with out any reason
              this is by far the most crappiest internet connection i ever had , i have been using home internet from past 7 yrs now ! this is the master of all in providing u , no wait , not providing u , it is the master of all in fooling you after you take a internet connection , i made this complaint , and the site took a whooping 8 seconds to open , imagine the horrendous download speeds now
              my personal recommendation : stay away from hathway as much as u can , even if they happen to give u attractive schemes , forget it , half the days of the month the service doesnt work , rest of the days , it works but at the worst speeds , i stay in pune and i have many other ISPs available for an option over here , time to switch ! hathway , please close down your service u are nothing but the most ISP in the whole country !
              i have no words to describe how much conned i m feeling right now , i had my patience whenever they gave excuses i listened to them and gave a chance , but its over now , i cant resist this BS anymore ! from past 5-6 months i have just been promised of a decent speed , and in the end , it still is the same , and to top it all they charge 1200 rs ,
              please any one reading this , never ever take an internet connection from hathway no matter where u stay , try BSNL , airtel or other services

                I have taken hatchway internet connection on[protected]. My account number 852784.
                At the time of taking connection their marketing executives Mr. Ganesh and Mr.Ramesh informed that there would be 99% uptime and also informed me in writing that monthly charges are 500/- per 1mbps which I agreed to take.

                But ever since the installation I had been facing issues of low speed and frequent disconnections. I informed them about this to their e-mail id ([protected]@hathway.net) several times. Calling them on their phone involves lot of time consumption and phone charges because each time for getting their phone was taking more than 10 minutes.
                They had also been charging approximately Rs.650/ which is more than the amount informed by their marketing personnel that is Rs.500/ and never sent me invoices either by post or through e-mail but I was informed by SMSs only of the bill amount.
                I informed their executive mr subhash Chandra of their hyderebad office by going personally to their office in punjagutta, Hyderabad about the poor service and overcharging. He assured me that he will look into the matter. But no action has been taken. Since[protected] the internet problems had become unmanageable with frequent disconnections. Their engineer mr habeeb informed me that the disconnections are not avoidable because there is no UPS in their site and there are no plans o[censored]PS Installation. I had spent lot of money by way of phone charges to their engineers and their help desk number.

                Utterly dissatisfied with their service on 2-7-2012 I asked them for disconnection by sending e-mail to their help desk. On 8-7-2012 their engineer Mr. Habeeb collected modem and other equipment and given me receipt for that.

                Still they are charging me their monthly charges and sending me SMSs for paying the amount which is more than 2000/-.

                I explained them all my problems with necessary screen shots vide my e-mails dated 1-5-2012,2-5-2012,8-5-2012,[protected],[protected],2-7-2012,[protected] &[protected] &7-8-2012.

                M/S Hatchway could not give continuation of service even for three months and I HAD TO SUFFER A LOT BECAUSE OF THE POOR SERVICE. I HAD TO TAKE ANOTHER CONNECTION BY PAYING THE NECESSARY CHARGES TO THE NEW ISP. I had to spend lot of money on phone calls to help desk and local engineers.
                I request them to pay me back my installation charges and other monthly subscriptions I paid to them immediately.

                  I purchased the internet connection for 90 gb for 1 year and paid the company Rs.4800 in advance.
                  For 10 days no one turned up for installing my connection and after that also it took them 2 days to install it.
                  Now that it has been installed, every time I try to connect to the internet, it doesnt connect and instead a message comes "ERROR 678: THE REMOTE COMPUTER DID NOT RESPOND".
                  Now I have been calling the company's marketing person for the problem and he says its not his matter.
                  Then I called the customer helpline and they wont connect to the technical person, finally I asked them to give me my refund they say its non refundable!
                  The employees are least bothered to solve my problem.
                  Hathway is the worst ISP in the country. Please never avail its connection. Its just money down the drain.

                  Hathway Internet — No Connection No Refund

                  I applied for the Hathway connection on April 10th 2008 and paid an ammount of Rs730 via cheque to Hathway. I did not receive any call from hathway for 20 days regarding the connection. Despite regular call to hathway no one bothered to infor me that there is no availability of connection in my area. Then finally one day when I called them they informed me that the connection is not available in my area. I asked them to refund the money and for the past 2 months they have been telling me that some one from the refund department will call you. I have made unlimited calls to them asking for the refund but all in vain.

                  HATHWAY IS THE WORST COMPANY IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.

                  Hi ,i am fed up with this Hathway Digital Cable TV service.problem started from not getting any channels waited for months.then asked for disconnection and refund .they said will call back it has almost been 2years still no call.the no. on hathway official sit does not work.i want them to take back the SET TOP BOX and give back the refund.Call me [protected]

                      i as a responsible customer i want to register a complaint against my service provider "the [protected]@Y broadband Internet service".

                      the people seems to have a false kind of communication,the also fail to provide a proper service and also not in time .

                      the company has a behaviour of taking into consideration like attitude they even not bother after taking the money they have also not provided the receipt of my activity.

                      i do expect a kind of action against "the [protected]@Y broadband Internet service" so that a common man can get his right for service at list.

                        This is in reference to my account for internet broadband No.539503.

                        I had got call from hathway on 21/7/12 advising limit o[censored]sage was to expire soon as only 47mb was balance.

                        Within 2 days had called hathway's customer care and asked them for renewal and collection of payment.

                        Its been 7 days and no one has turned up yet.

                        I got call on 25/7/12 and was advised collection will be done in few hours, but in vain again no one has come to collect.

                        Just 2 days back I called hathway customer care they said on monday surely payment shall be collected.

                        Today I was advised no one has booked request for collection ?????

                        What kind of customer service is this ??? If hathway is not bothered about customer, why there sales people roam and go on requesting to become customers ?????

                        Hope there is someone sensible enough to solve my query & revert asap.

                          Hathway Broadband connect is horrible. This people are fraud they chet the customer and take the money. After that they dont pick the calls.
                          I am really requesting all the people please be careful.
                          Never ever in life give money before. First tell them to do your entire work and then only give the money after checking everything.
                          Hathway has a pathetic service.
                          The people are useless. Customer care people just disconnect your phone calls without listing to the issue.
                          Please shut down such companies who do fraud and chet common man.

                            The worst service ever experienced.Past 2 months i have been requesting for termination of the service but of no use customer care execvutives are employed only to worsen the situation giving a new complaint no everyday and even dont have contact nos of nearest service centeres.



                            kept on sending bills for no reasons but to test the patience of customer.

                            Even helpdesk mailers are only to take immediate action but no action taken.

                              Hathway Internet A/c No. 748770

                              Connection Taken : June 2011.
                              Made request for Disconnection : Oct 2011
                              Not Disconnected till 4 months, then i settled 2000 rs as settlement, after settlement, i am still getting bills...

                              Is there any way to file a complaint for this?

                              Please suggest me?

                                This Complaints in regards to the Hathway Broadband company whom i disconnected my Internet services and still i got the threats and also my family got the threats for payment. My father is really disgraced and me also by the Collection agent ( Rajesh , Indirapuram and surya Nagar Area ) . He threatened my Mother and father and also abused them. I just raise the complaint against him of harassment and abuse against that executive of Hathway Internet.

                                Pl. raise the complaint against that company as nobody else is listening to my voice.

                                    I relocated from a residence where I had taken hathway broadway connection.

                                    1. I had informed hathway that I would be relocating to a new connection w.E.F 01 september 2011 and requesting to provide me a connection to my new address.

                                    2. The same was declared technically not feasible by hathway and I was informed over a telephone call that I will not be charged by hathway wef 01 september 2011.

                                    3. I kept receiving billing mails despite this assurance. Hathway assured me that the same would stop once I hand over the modem back to hathway. On 10 jan 2012, I handed over the same to the hathway representative of which I possess a receipt from hathway.

                                    4. Despite fulfilling all the necessary formalities from my end, hathway has continued sending bills to me and has not closed my account.

                                    Over the complete interaction with hathway for the issue, hathway employees have never been apologetic for once.

                                    I had also written to trai about the issue on [protected]@trai.Gov.In but they too DID not interveen. Being pushed to a corner, I decided to share this on public domain to make people aware about the careless and useless service hathway provides.

                                    FOR LAST 15 DAYS MY AIRTEL UPE) POSTPAID NUMBER IS IN PIPELINE FOR ACTIVATION

                                    I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING UP FOR THE ACTIVATION OF MY NUMBER BUT TO NO AVAIL. TODAY I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT EVEN THE ACTIVATION PROCESS IS NOT STARTED AND THE NUMBER CHOSEN BY ME HAS ALSO BEEN ALLOCATED TO SOMEONE ELSE.
                                    Hathway is a filthy company, I am getting around 10 messages everyday, though I have disconnected in properway,
                                    submitted all tools, paid off, moved 3 states away from bombay, still even after one year I am getting sms to
                                    renew my account, there are many discounts.
                                    I attacked them through all their communication channels like twitter, gmails, every day by sending mails
                                    those dirty thick skin toilet eating bast***s unheard and there is nothing like mosquito bite

                                      Hi,

                                      I took on thee services of Hatheway Internet Broadband and have been facing issues since theen. The following has occurred since i have taken on thee services 3 monthes back.

                                      - I took on thee services in March 2012.
                                      - In April theere was an issue withe thee modem theat was provided by theem. On lodging a complain theey changed thee modem but charged me Rs200 again for thee charger. I didn't want to argue for thee Rs 200 so let it go
                                      - Somewhere in thee last 2 weeks of April, I had no Internet connection. Almost from 18the of thee monthe to thee 25the. Initially theey said theat thee cable wire was cut from our terrace. I spoke to our building manager and was informed theat theere was no work going on. Given thee benefit of doubt, I rechecked and theen called Hatheway to send an engineer to solve thee issue. There after for an entire week i had to call theem daily since thee connectivity wasn't theere. Sometimes thee excuse was cable cut again and sometimes it was no clear connection. I patiently called theem daily reporting every morning theat thee connection was lost. After a week, I lost my cool and gave theem an ultimation of a day to solve thee issue. Which theey did...for all of 3 days. That too since thee renewal was up.

                                      - I renewed thee connection on 29the and have lost an entire day already where thee connection is not on. When i call the call centre theey ask me for blinking lights and thee again i was informed today theat thee cable connection is cut and so thee issue. Yesterday I spoke to Kamlesh Lalwani and requested that the line be handed to a senior since i wanted to escalate the issue. Not only was he rude and refused to let the issue be escalated, he even made up a name Saigal Pasha (am sure there isnt such a person around) saying that he was busy and couldn't talk.

                                      I am tired of theis. They refuse to send an engineer home since as per theeir system thee connection is active (It doesn't really matter when thee customer is saying theat it isn't). I live alone withe old parents. Am out in thee morn and back late night. I requested theem to send an engineer home since my parents wouldn't be able to call theem directly and follow isn'tructions. To theis i was told theat not possible since the connection is active.

                                      I made a mistake by renewing thee connection. Am sick and tired of complaining.

                                      Resolution

                                      - I want theis issue solved once and for all and if thee Internet company feels theat it is not possible for theem to provide quality support theen am happy to get a refund of thee amount theat i have paid theem towards renewal.

                                      - I need to be out of theis mental harassment and absolutely Soddy customer service support.

                                      Hope my plea will be heard and actioned upon.

                                      Hathway — irregularity in enternet providing

                                      here in kalkaji enternet get disconnect after every half an hour, many downlodinds gets disconect and important works too get stops,
                                      i have complainted many times before but not corrected,
                                      plz pay attention to my request and keep provide a regular connection.

                                      Sir, i have taken internet connection on 01/10/09 vide receipt no 132467
                                      presently jthe network is very very slow from last one week when i cqontacted on custo0mer care center [protected]
                                      They give one no. to contact when we contact on the same no they givve some other no to contact like this they give around 4-5 no. finally i could lodge a complain vide fault no 3620624 dated 22/11/09 but all invain.                                       I have also faced issues from Hathway. Frequent internet disruptions.. I asked for cancellation of service and then a refund. Refund was not given.

                                      I lodged a complain with Department of Telecommunication. Now the refund is getting processed.

                                        I have been repeatedly informing Hathway Helpdesk since past 4-5 months that I am not using their connection any more... I am not using their services at all since I have shifted to some other place... But till date the bill are being sent to my old address after adding their monthly fixed charges for every month...

                                        Non-Sense Company - as they might think that someone would be making payment for their fake bills and courier charges for sending that bill...
