I Have Also Been Cheated On By This Plan.It Claims An Unlimited Usage But When I Downloaded Files>3gb I Have Been Charged And The Speed Reduced To 250 Kbps.On The Other Hand On The Hathway Internet Site It Has Claimed That The Plan ’Neo Lit 1024’ Is 499/Per Month And With A Speed Of 1 Mbps And An Unlimited Speed.So I Choosed That Plan For Unlimited.But, When I Used It To Much It Charged Me. Please Listen Our Complaints.The Internet Provider Claims A False Representation Of It’s Services.

    I am a Hathway customer living in Malleswaram area of Bangalore. The reception quality of the live IPL-5 matches is very poor. The frames simply freeze. Repeared complaints to the local service is only resulting in a temporary solution. It works for the next few days and the problem repeats. Strangely the SetMAX channel comes nicely during mornings! I am not sure if others too are facing tihs problem. Will be thankful if the problem is fixed soon before IPL-5 season ends.

      my cable tv is hathway stb. Channel scramble very often and cable gets diconnected. I get a blue screen where two options are given for setting which is technical and i don know how to do that second option is to contact customer care where no numbers are give.

      Service is getting pathetic day by day and our cable operator seems helpless as he always blame the company for the fault. I am not sure if he is passing our complaint ti the company or not.

      I am locate in Charni Road, Mumbai-4

      If my query is not resolved soon I will have no option but to change my service provider.

        This is regrading the complain against Hathway Broadband Services.

        My Account No is 754275, I have made payment of Rs 551/- on 3rd of March for New plan Neo 1024 Lit.

        As it is mention on website, it is 1Mbps speed with Unlimited Download and Upload. I have confirmed this by checking with customer care on Feb and March 2012.

        On 10th of March after 5 days of activation, I have experience lower speed and on 11th received mail from Hathway mentioning my limit exhust.

        This was no where mention on website on plan description as well as no customer care executive has mentioned to me that they have 3G download limit and after crossing that limit my speed would downgrade to 256 kbps .

        I have spoken with Customer Care executive on 12th two times and raised query for same then i got information for this plan hidden details, which is not mentioned on plan details.

        I have undergone a hard time to chase and have fair answer for my queries from Customer Care of Hathway.

        To get 1Mbps speed again I have to pay Rs 551/- one more time which is not acceptable.

        Now i want to immediately de active my account with my Rs 551/- amount refund due to wrong information for plan and hidden conditions of Hathway Broadband services.

        But they customer service personnel said my money will not be refunded.

        Kindly help me to get this sorted and take initiate voice against misleading and hidden condition.

          My Cable line has been disconnected without intimating me .

          I am not aware as to when the person/s collecting monthly charges visit the premises.

          Thus the disconnection has been made for no fault of mine, since any one could have fixed time and come and collected the charges and I am not a willful defaulter.

          The line went off by 11 p.m on 28th February,2012, by which time I could not contact any one.

          That upon contacting on the Landline No. 022 – 22692699,of Saikrupa Cable,Mody street,Mumbai-1, just at 6.30 p.m, upon my returning from my duties, I was informed that by that time no one could attend to my complaints since no field operator was available by then.

          It is a very sorry state that the operational service which should be available round the clock is being neglected which means deficiency in service.

          Kindly look into the case.

            Hello.
            I am a billing customer of HATHWAY Internet service providers with A/C no. 536411.

            Company provide us with the phone nos mentioned above which are unable to make us reach to their customer care executives.
            these phones are answered by computer recording machines which make us wait for 10 minutes and the phone gets disconnected.
            i am facing this similar problem since 2-3 months.
            Kindly help.

            Another complaint is
            i received a bill in 1st week of February in which it the last date of payment of bill is 13th of February.
            whereas the bill received is for the period of 1st February till 29th February 2012.

            Kindly help.

              Hello Sir -

              I have hathway cable connection for which I pay rental charges (Rs350/month) 3 months in advance so currently I had already paid for Jan, Feb and Mar. I have been facing cable for last 2 weeks that only a few channels are coming. I have been regularlarly calling the bill collector/technician Dilip ([protected]) to come nad fix the issue and also the customer care[protected]. Everytime they say today we fix it however nobody is turning up. I have the copy of rent paid.
              Please penalize hathway cable services as they are causing lot in convienence to their customer. I want get my connection disconnected and want my charges for month of feb and march back.

                Hathway Broadband connection — REIMBURSEMENT OF SUBSCRIPTION FEES

                REF.: Complaint no.5085789, Dt.20.12.2010 against Hathway Broadband Acc.No.621728.

                We have been told by HATHWAY technicians that the data cable needs to be changed. This story also is OVER 30Days old now. Subsequently the MODEM was taken back by the HATHWAY technician from our residence.

                We asked for probable dates of this fault being rectified or Refund of our money for the 4Month subsscription. No reply is forthcoming from HATHWAY.

                  Please see attached copy of the Hathway internet usage bill I received for the month of August'2011 and since then I am receiving repeated reminders to pay those.

                  The funny part is my connection is a 'prepaid one' and I was never using any postpaid connection or scheme from Hathway, anytime. And now I m feeling sick of telling them to stop sending this bill to my address repeatedly.

                  Internet — Incorrect bills

                  HI

                  I have an a/c 722036 with hathway broadband and they have incorrectly charged me they told be installation charges are waived off 50% if we sign up for a 6month internet package now so as per that deal I paid the pacage amt as they quoted now they are asking me to pay more and deactivated my a/c .I have paid them lumpsome and now they are not providing service and acting stubborn.Customer Service is rude and refuse to help.I had signed a deal that was 50% waiver on activation charges and pay for 6months after I paid they installed the modem and connection so if they wanted me to pay the entire installation they should I have told me in the beginning I would choose to pay or would not sign up at all.Deal is a deal what I told I agreed and sent the payment out the blue Hathway cant send bills as they wish and whenever its a plain simple situation pls take this up with Hathway Broadband Mumbai(Mira Rd)

                    This is Santosh Bajaj having the Hathway account since May’ 2010 with the ID: 615791 is having so many issues and wanted to highlight the same to Management of the hathway team so that the same can be addressed.

                    I am complaining about my hathway connection not working since last year however not getting any revert from the customer service team. Have tried contact through phone call however sometimes the calls are not getting connected and sometimes executives are not responding properly.

                    On top of this I am getting bills on dues of mine on regular intervals. How come the bills are reaching me and sms are reaching me however the services are not being used since long.

                    Let me tell you your customer services are very pathetic and not bothered about the customers.

                    I would request you to take this matter on higher priorities as I would not be ready to pay any of my dues as I have not used your services.

                    I would like to continues if the waiver being passed to me and promise would give to me by the management about the proper services in near future.

                    I would like to highlight two points here.
                     I am not ready for any payment of dues cos the services are not been used by me.
                     I am still ready to become active customer however the service part should be improved.

                    Let me summarize the issues of Hathway.
                     Very weak internet connection
                     No after sale services
                     Customer care numbers are always busy
                     Customer care executives are not well versed with product
                     Not bothered about customers.
                     Un-necessary billings to customer
                     No department for complaint redresal

                    Hope management are getting those mails cos the review on the internet and website are also horrible and question mark on services part of Hathway broadband services.

                    Quick response will always be appreciated. Copy is marked to ISPAI for quick response.

                      Its been a very funny time I spent taking follow up with Hathway So called "Customer Care" people. I am not getting sufficient speed as it should be; as per my current plan. I started to feel this difference since 5-6 days back. For this I have already made a complaint by calling Customer Care Number[protected]. I was told that an Engineer will "VISIT" to my house and he will solve the problem. The 2nd day I received a call from so called "ENGINEER". And within 5 minutes of telling some rubbish troubleshooting steps he said, "You have problem in your PC, you are having Viruses". I was shocked, I am using my Laptop/PC since so many days, and how can I be unaware about this. Whereas my Laptop is fully secured and is free from viruses. When I checked the speed on www.speedtest.net today I found Download Speed: 1.73 MBPS, Upload Speed: 0.21 MBPS. Can you please justify this speed since my connection is for 2MBPS (Unlimited Plan)?

                      Now the most frustrating part is today again I called Customer Care "Technical Support" section. And I just asked a simple question that for any broadband connection of 2MBPS, what should be the Ideal speed and what is the connection ratio? And according to my General Knowledge this is a 'TECHNICAL' question, isn't it? (I have recorded conversation of this conversation)

                      These guys have a very poor accent and doesn't seems to be professional. These guys came from Rural area and their accent is very very very bad. They can't even understand simple english words. This thing shows what level the Hathway 'COMPANY' is . . . . . . .

                      The technical person said that, "We don't keep any of these details, you will get this details from billing section". Whereas the timings for billing sections are from 10:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. So WHAT THE HELL THIS BLOODY TECHNICAL SUPPORT IS FOR?

                        Its been a while since I have been subjected to - Pathetic Connection, Improper Billing, Horrible Customer Care, courtesy Hathway Internet Connection. I have this connection for quite sometime now, except for last 4 months I had no issues with them. However the last 4 months changed my outlook towards this company.

                        Incident 1 - I purchased a 6 month connection with total of 10GB free downloads. I am not a downloaded anyways and just use internet for professional purposes, reading and replying to mails, getting in touch with friends over chat, etc. So not at all an extensive internet user. To my surprise, my internet connection was disconnected within 2 months. No reason was provided, No calls were given to intimate that the connection is being disconnected. Just one day I start my system to find no connection. The office employees had no explanation either, their only reasoning was that I "exhausted" 10GB - on what? Mails?

                        Incident 2 - I switched the plan to a 6 month unlimited connection hoping that atleast they will provide decent connection for my complete my work. Now it seems that even that expectation was far fetched. They not only frequently disconnect and reconnect the line, they offer no explanation on it whatsoever. I have visited their Kandivali office a number of times post which some technician corrects the issue. The point is why must it fail in the first place to correct it and why must your customer visit your office.

                        General - The Call center is the most pathetic place they have in the Hathway model. They are people who I believe are 12th pass with ok english speaking skills and no understanding of customer service whatsoever. I have faced atleast 3 incidents where the call center executive banged the phone on me without any explanation only because he had no solution. I have not been provided the email or contact number of the Nodal / Applellate officers from them. They infact believe that they can push the customer around and have the guts to say "My name is XYZ, jo ho sakta hain karlo."

                        On the other end, I dont understand what the top management governance is all about. They are not available to take responsibility for their own employees wrong doings. To give you an example - The Nodal Officer number ([protected]) is constantly ringing but no one is picking it up. The Appellate Authority number is coming incorrect (+91 [protected]). The Hathway Financial Controller number (+[protected] is also coming as not available. These numbers are as available and shared by the company with TRAI. Can TRAI please look into these numbers and see why these are not being used to solve customer complaints.

                        Its a Sham being run by unscruplous elements whose only aim is to con people into taking up the connection and not delivering on service.

                        Hathway Internet — pathetic and irritating customer care

                        VERY VERY PATHETIC SERVICE BY HATHWAY
                        i WOULD REQUEST U TO KINDLY IMPROVE UR SERVICE
                        I WAS NOT GETTING CONNECTIVITY FOR ONE WEEK. I CALLED UP CUSTOMER SEVERAL TIMES WHO ALWAYS KEPT ME ON HOLD FOR MORE THAN 20 MINS WITHOUT ANY PROPER SOLUTION.
                        KINDLY TELL ME PROCEDURE TO APLY FOR COMPENSATION OF MY TELEPHONE BILL
                        "The internet connectivity is low. The server cannot be connected. The network area cable is unplugged." are the messages i get when i try to connect the net. The phone at customer care service centre is many times not recieved by the people over there. The tone is very rude and when i asked that how long will it take then they reply rudely that "WE DO NOT KNOW" or "I WILL SEE THAT IT HAPPENS SOON." And this soon takes more than 3 days. From last one month there is lot of connectivity problem which is not adderessed by Hathway Vadodara. It is disgusting and ridiculous.
                        I had used services of Hathway for 4 months last year during which the service was considerably good. But since i started using their service this time (Which was from November last year), its service has been pathetic. First it was awfully slow and now for last three weeks I have no connectivity at all. On repeated complaints, their service guy makes a visit and then disappears. And today, on calling, I was told that the services will not be there for next 2-3 Days. No sign of even smallest shame...Seems I am caght in their trap...

                        Hathway Internet Broadband — service not started

                        i ahve paid my renew amount on[protected] in cash with cash receipt no 144711, but upto today the connection has not started with several calls and email, pl help.

                        These guys are not at all professionals and they don't know how to better serve their customer.
                        There is just another small thing that I missed to include - The Bill. I would like to understand how many of the Hathway customers get a proper bill (not the stub), a proper A4 size bill that documents the plan, the start date of internet, the expected end date (incase its a usage based plan), the payment done, the method and instrument number, the agreement details, the policies, the rights and duties of both parties... I am sure none o[censored]s have any such bills (atleast in Prepaid section)... How many of these stubs are shown as connections and complied by the management with the government on that basis...
                        24 Hours since my Internet is down. I am truly fedup with this good for nothing company... Their customer service number is down... No ones picking up the call... Mr Jayaraman What good are you to be a CEO if you cannot reply to your customers...?

                          I am one of the customer of hathway tv cable. i am using hathway tv cable from last 2 year.
                          before 3 month hathway cable agents offered us setup box and they told me like if we will use hathway setup box then they will charge one time fee and after that they wont charge anything for next 6 month cable + setup box services.
                          but now after 3 month.. our local hathway agents came and ask for last 3 month cable bill immediately.

                          me : why will i give u any cable charge till next more 3 month.
                          agent : you have to give also last 3 month cable charge.
                          me: why did u make fake promises to us.
                          agent: no i didnt??
                          me: if you didnt promised then all customer are fool who believed in ur words and have taken setup box that time.
                          agent: i dont knw anything. you should have to pay last 3 month bills.
                          me: ok fine. i dont have any problem to give u charges. but tell me where were you from last 3 months. because your routine like you came every time at the enf of month and take cable charges? now where were you from last 3 month.
                          agent : silent :(
                          me : see Mr. i wont pay you anything till i will confirm everything from headoffice.
                          agent: silend.. and after few minutes... where will you contact?

                            As I am a old customer of hathway internet service provider but science the starting of december I am facing a area service fault as per they said and I cannot access my internet service which I am paying them as my business is depended on internet and I am facing a great loss due to service today when I called at their call center I have to hold the phone for half an hour and the executive arrived he didn't known any thing regarding my complaint and when I asked weather I may talk to their senior then the reply was they are busy and can't talk to you. Moral of the story is I want compensation in the bill for the days they where having server down or the loss which we have faced during their server down

                              We have taken Hathway Broadband prepaid connection ( #817153) in November. From day one we are facing problems of connectivity. We have raised many complaints to Hathway but no response, even nobody bothered to attend or fix the issue as on date. Their customer service is very poor and careless.

                              We have raised a complaint on their website for disconnection of the service and refund of the money ASAP. Still no reply from the company.

                                I live in kundalahalli region of Bangalore and I have subscribed to Hathway Digital Cable Services. I bought the setup box for Rs 1000 as well. Right from the Day 1, We always got problems in the transmission. Most of the time cable doesn't work, even if it works either the picture would be blur or no sound or picture shakes... In spite of making many complaints the quality hasn't improved, I almost call them 3-4 times a day mentioning the problem, the response would be careless and they take hours to rectify the problem.
                                Once a problem is rectified with in another 2 hours we get another problem, and the story repeats.

                                We are really fed up with these people and want some action to be taken against them. Every service company is dependent on its customer base and the service they provide should be prompt and of great quality. I request you to take some severe action against the HATHWAY cable services

                                Dear Sir,
                                I am using the services of Hath way cables in Secunderabad. I lodged a complaint on 26 June 2015 that my cable TV was not functioning for the past 24 Hrs. first the complaint was not written and no complaint number was given, then on insisting very harshly a fake complaint number was given, it is now more than 48 hrs and the cable TV connection has not been re installed
                                Please ask the company to do the needful at the earliest.

                                  We have Hathway cable TV connection through the Hathway set top box from Hathway cable & Datacom Ltd, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The customer ID no. is 2988.
                                  All Malayalam language channels except DD Malayalam are unable to be viewed from the past week due to possible changes in coordinates and frequencies which were being scrolled down continuously for the past 1 month in all the channels, as an information to the cable operators.
                                  We got in touch with the local area operator/representative over the phone and they claim that it is beyond their scope of rectification. They wanted to direct the issue to the head office.

                                  Please resume the channels at the earliest.

                                    We disconnected our broad band connection, returned their modem about three months back. Yet Hathway keeps sending the bill with arrears. Last month I personally visited and jaded them reverse the debit, but was surprised to see a new bill arriving today!

                                    This is causing unnecessary mental torture for me and I would like them to compensate me for this hardship.

                                      I have complained several times to my service provider for better quality picture, but i'm not getting response from his side.The picture is interrupted and the picture quality is very poor.

                                      It is true and hathway mcn also doesnt add interactive games which is available in mumbai zaheer shaikh aurangabad

                                        My account no was 758985.I had already deposited their modem and cable to nearest center.I had acknowledement receipt.Every month they send me bills via email or sms.I am not using their service and I left the place where i had taken connection.I was not used their service since 30Aug11.I send mail for discontinue service on 30Aug11.These people called me around 28Sep11 and said i have to deposit modem and cable.They were sleeping those days.Then i deposited modem and cable around 5Sep11.

                                        Hathway Internet — Sending bills even after service discontinued

                                        This is to put on record that even after informing Hathway internet service provider through phone and e-mail about termination of service at the end of May 09 and even after surrendering the modem and adaptor to their executive, they are issuing fraudulent internet bills till last month(ie September 09).

                                        My account with Hathway when I was their customer is 432829.

                                        Same Here, i have disconnected the internet connection in november 27th 2009 and till to date, i am still getting bills. They are also adding some non -payment charges and later charges and sending bills . is there a way of me to move to consumer court or forum to resolve this issue. its just frustrating me every day.
