I purchased a prepaid internet connection from amol
[protected]/[protected]. Their head office number has a man named ashok[protected].

The man came promptly to give land based broadband internet connection in my home in Kothrud, Pune.

He prmosised that in 10 days the net will be setup at my home otherwise he will refund my money in 2-3 days.

I took his promise and waited eagerly for 15 days for the connection to set up however the net was not setup. Then I asked him to refund my money he has kept on saying that he will for months.

Even after 3 months I call him and he tell me some excuse that he is coming to my home to return the check but he does not come.

I want to tell you guys beware of shelling out Rs. 2/3k to Hathaway internet company. Better go for reliance broadband or TATA else you may lose your peace of mind to these erroneous internet cheat companies.

Hathaway — Irresponsible and Pathetic Team

I really don't understand what's the problem with the Hathaway Team. Prior to me telling them its an urgent requirement, as i work from home at nite, they made me wait for more than 25 days. They comitted me that they will be giving me connection asap. When I asked them to refund the money, they are playing hide n seek.I really don't know if these buggers are going to refund back my money. It's more like harassing people by giving fake commitment.I am completely pissd off. I wish no one should fall in the trap of Hathaway.I wish to get my money back someday.I feel some serious actions should be taken for these cheaters.
They give 50 Mbps plan but the customer gets only 1Mbps speed.

    i have your set top box connection from last 5-7 months , it works ok, but from last 3 days i not receiving your service. the massage on the set top box is only please contact helpline , i called every number which i have and also on your aurangabad offices landline number of your receipt but there is no response , that's not a good service from you so, please take action as early as possible . thanks

      Dear Mr.Raheja,

      I used to own a hathway internet connection for a/c:649688.This service was cancelled by me by doing the payment till the month of March'2011.I have paid the bills of the payment at your service center at vartak nagar.I have personally given a cancellation letter along with the modem.Post that i have received calls to enquire the reason of cancellation,which i have informed the reason and told them to cancel the bill.The officers have told me that the connection would be cancelled.
      To my surprise,last month i received a hathway bill which i refused to pay.Have received 3-4 collection calls and i told them that my connection has been cancelled.
      The collection harasment continues on Sunday's also,hence i told them that they need to update their record and not to give any call.

      Today,i have received a sms from hathway to pay my internet bill with the added amt.

      I'm going to pay any charges or the service which has been cancelled an all dues has been paid.It was not my fault if the same has not been updated.This is a last request to Hathway for updatign the details.

      I'm writing to you as a responsible business man.I will take a legal route and escalate to consumer court for this mental harassment.

      Please sort this out and train your people

        sir, The company is providing the connections but services are very bad and doubtful.
        I took 562 kbps unlimited plan , my ID is 661468, but the connection always down or it gets down 8 to 10 tines in 6 hours span, so it is very risky for me to do the share trading .
        I tried 3-4 times to their office, but u get the ans tat our lines r busy or our executives r busy u contact later, or hold the line, I got telephione chareg for this AMTING TO RS.67/- AND STILL THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED(BECAUSE I COULDNOT REGIDSTER MY COMPLAINT)
        SO PL LOOK INTO THIS AND SOLVE MY PROBLEM AT ATHE EARLIEST POSSIBLE AND OBLIGE.

          i am using Hathway internet connection from past couple of years as a
          regular user
          My account no is 389062 (Mumbai). I am using Prepaid Express 1024 Plan.
          i renewed it on April 28th 2014
          When i checked My internet usage on 20th May it said that I almost used my
          90% of service usage.
          this is first time happening that my Expressway plan is not lasting even
          for 1 Month
          At some days the service usage has been shown more than 300MB per day which
          is impossible.

          I am also facing the same problem. I live in dombivli and using the same plan, i have also seen 200-300 mb usage per day. I have drafted a mail to helpdesk.

            Hathway is bad worse worst. Speed goes slow slower gone.! Billin of mbs used is ridiculous.sometimes they bill anywhere from 300 to 500 mbs only for downloading 3-4 videos each not more than 7 to 8 minutes.I have used mtnl before and have a fair idea of mb usage.Please go in for anything but Hathway.They say they are the cheapest service available but i know what they mean by "cheapest".That's what their customer care is.Didnt know it was owned by Rahejas.What a shame for them.

            Hathway — Slow internet services

            I got the internet connectivity from HATH WAY on 7/6/09 for domestic purpose in Bangalore. The plan I opted was 256kbps unlimited plan. They charge Rs. 770/- per month. The speed with which I surf in this connectivity is very less and I am sure that it is not 256kbps. The speed is worser than the dial-up connection. Over and above which there will frequent disconnection in the connectivity. It so happens I usually complaint regarding this and the same problem persists. What can be done in this regards?
            Getting either very slow connection or usually NO internet connection. DO SOMETHING

              Hello,

              My name is Ashok Verma and I reside at Goregoan Motilal Nagar.

              I have a concern with my cable operater, he has taken my set top box before a month and he promised me to give my set top box within a week.

              Its more than a month, I am following up with him and there is no response.

              His standard answer is, I have not received set top box from Hathway yet.

              I have also raised a complaint at Hathway office and my compliant no is 173646.

              Kindly look into the same.

              Since from 2 days i can't see my tv because it shows its technical problem its too bad and in every half hour it shows technical problem and it will not recover rill 5 minutes
              If we try to call hathway operator to complaint it shows his phone is switched off i[censored] will not repair it in 1 day i will change my set top box to tata sky my hathway box number is[protected]

                I am staying in Padmaraonagar in Hyderabad AP and has a hathway cable tv connection from 2007 onwards with set top box. Hathway in Hyderabad has suddenly stopped Asianet transmission for reasons not known to us from 20th of April 2011. When contacted on phone we are getting evasive replies. It may also be noted that this cable operator has stopped Surya, Asianetplus,Kiran progressively from 2009 onwards and we who are malayalees in Hyderabad are missing the transmissions in all these channels Kindly look into this and help us to get these channels which we were getting earlier.                 Fully agree. Malayalis are a very significant population and the two most popular channels are off the air. "Asianet middle east" with gulf based content and timings simply doesn't suit people over here. It would be good if someone responds informing who is responsible for this - I believe the hyderabad cable feed providers simply haven't kept track with changes in how the Asianet and Surya signal links have to be received. It is a matter of bringing it to their notice, but I am not able to find out who is responsible.

                  my hathway account no is 670686 and i request the company to disconnect my services immediately.i had also submitted a letter regarding this in the kalina office 2 days ago but no one has come to collect the modem.i send u this mail so that im not billed unnecessarily by hathway.as i have stopped using the net connection already....

                  This is disgusting to get Hathway Internet connection in Bangalore (maybe on the other states too). I have 384kpbs unlimited connection and suddenly i was told that i will be getting only 8gb of limited version policy and will get only 14-15 kilo bits (not kilo bytes)/sec. Now after finishing my 8gb, am not able to open a single page and i put the complaint to technical department and again was told to wait unless the month is over and start a fresh from 1st of every month.

                  Is this all about fooling & harassing the customers?

                  So would like to put a complaint against Hathway Internet Broadband Services (Bangalore) and need a solution asap.

                    Sir,
                    We have been subscribing to Hathway cable for the last 7 years and have been a good customer with prompt monthly payments. Also, we were the first in our apartment complex to have purchased a digital set-top box from hathway cable.

                    Since last few days, following deterioration in service has occurred:
                    1. A lot of channels have just disappeared! For instance, All Doordarshan + Private News channels like Aaj tak + NDTV imagine + Aastha etc. etc. When we called them, they said "Upar se order aaya hai" (These are orders from above!).

                    2. Language options which used to be available on some channels have disappeared. e.g. Children channels like Pogo, cartoon network

                    Is Hathway a Mom&Pop shop? Looks like it from the quality of service and the ad hoc nature of functioning. If hathway doesn't want to lose 170 customers in our complex, it will be in their interest to get the matter resolved as soon as they can.

                    In the past weeks set Max is displaying scrolling message, in bold, that Hathway has not not subscribed to Theonealliance.hence this service will be disconnected any time.As such the scrolling message is a major intrusion since we are unable to see the scores properly.being an IPL season thie least Hathway can do is to register with Theonealliance and help consumers enjoy the cricket.

                    We are a strong consumer association in bannerghatta road, bangalore. We request telecom watch dog to raise this issue with TRAI and levy penalty on Hathway Forres poor quality of service. Hathway has monopoly in Adarsh rhythm apartments, we are inviting TATAR sky to put up their network so that we can throw Hathway out. Other associations should do the same and teach a lesson to Hathway.

                      Hi Sir,
                      Here the local cable provider has provided me setupbox of Hathway-cisco.
                      It is such a product that from day-1 I am having a problem with the setupbox.
                      It hangs like anything.
                      PLease look into this problem, from day-1 I am keeping on complaining them and they did not responded and now they are saying that the warranty is over on the setup box.
                      Now they are suggesting me new setup box instead ot rectifying the old one.
                      Their office is at BanjaraHills RoadNO-1, My HOme enclave.
                      I am a consumer staying at Mehdipatnam.

                        Inaspite of repeated calls, Hathway staff has not responded. I requested them to remove the cable booster box from my house terrance to some other location as cables floating around is creating lot of inconvenience to me and my family.                               On 18/03/2011. I was having some problem in net in kandivali. There is no connectivity.
                              I am disappointed because i have make two complaints regarding the same complaint no. Are 5407934 & 5416017 but the service was unsatisfactory, unfinished because i told them several times that please do something to resolved the issue but nothing is happen still. This is in breach of our contract as laid down by the law.

                              To resolve the problem I require you to take a action you require e.g. refund, service performed again, rectified etc. whilst reserving my right to claim against you.

                              I look forward to hearing from you and to a resolution of this problem. I will wait for 24/03/2011 before arranging for the matter to be corrected by a third party at your cost or seeking help from relevant authorities can be found through our complaints procedures section or do complained to consumer court .

                                hello sir ,
                                i have use the hatway broadband ........my plan is monthly unlimited downloading .. speed is 512kbps...
                                but hatway broadband are unlimited plan but provided the limited after cross the limit for 10 gb .....
                                whts this ....... why r u choose the customer unlimited for use the unlimited ues the downloading and uploading ........
                                hatway are executive are seen the only plan but not told him the unlimited uses policy .........
                                i send the attachments for hathway broadband service uses ..........

                                  I am using hathway services from past four months but from last month iam facing lot of problems the customer support team is very waste from last weak iam calling them but till now they did not resolve my issue i am not able to understand how did this people get license for runing the company very very pooooooooooooor service if any one want to take hathway i suggest u not to take it because i have suffered a lot by taking this connection.my cust id:698693

                                    I have Hathway Broadband connectuon sinc 1/10/2010. My user Id is ' rashendu'. At the time of the application, company exucative had given me information that the company will transfer your connection free of cost whenever needed at my desired adresse at sama savli road, in the same city , Vadodara. I have also made a remark about above fact on apllication form before singning tne application.
                                    I have shifted my resident in last week. Now, company is not ready to transfer my connection free of cost. they charg me Rs.1500/ for transfer. The company also not ready to give me refund for the same.

                                      I have paid Rs. 995 through cheque to M/s Hathway for broadband connection on[protected]. My customer code is 718762. They promised me to give connection within a day or two. But they could able to give the connection only on 20-01-11 in my absence and without testing the installation. The internet didn't work and I have complained six times to their helpline number. Their engineer came on[protected] and identified that the cable doesn't have the signal and spoken with their office, and told that the problem will be rectified within an hour. But after that also internet is not connected and I have spoken many times to their helpline number[protected]. On February I received a SMS asking me to pay the internet charges for Jan 2011. I immediately called the Hathway helpline and asked them to disconnect the internet broadband and refund my deposit as I haven't used their internet even for a second. The helpline executives everytime asks me about the entire episode and finally tells me that they will revert back to me. I have sent three e-mails to [protected]@hathway.net explaining my problem and requesting for refund of my money as I have taken another internet connection due to urgency. The hathway is not responding to my requests and unnecessarily delaying in refund of my money. Please help me in this regard and refund my money paid to M/s Hathway.

                                      Hathway internet connection randomly disconnects from time to time. Login page in unavailable for extended periods after that. Calling the help line just give a technical support person who seems to be pressing a button and asking me to check if the connection is working again. After a few minutes it starts to work and then stops randomly again. Is anyone else experiencing this type of problem?
