    How to OPT for DND after account is Deactivated

    Dear Team,
    My Hathway Broadband Ac.No:[protected].
    My account is supposed to be active till June 2020, Due to covid and work related issues I moved out of Hyd in Mar2020 and informed the same to customer care team to deactivate my account.

    However Calls or messages never stopped from Hathway from March 2020 to Mar 2021. (Yes, I am receiving calls from a year) Whenever I ask them to help me out how do I escape...

    I have already submitted the device to Hathway company staff 2 months back and got my account terminated, but inspite of it, I am getting calls from hathway side that i need to pay an amount of Rs 425/- for not returning the device and compelled me for paying the same amount if not customer care executive threatened me that hathway company will send a legal notice of cost Rs 3000 which is to beared by me.
    In that case, I rushed to hathway company building which is located at Stanza building, Himaythnagar. Upon my visit I found out that there is no customer care section and grievences are noted by security guard and sent into the office. After a while person addressed my issue and said he raised ticket with service id 04032021w269539 on 04.03.2021 which will result in refund of paid amount Rs 425/- but upon checking in your website pack name:Fiber hd5 hyd 50 Mbps Monthlyu was found to be active with my account
    Please do the needful at the earliest for refund of amount and acknowledgement of termination of my hathway account [protected].

      In charge

      I removed the hathway broadband account 6 months ago and fixed a new wifi account from Airtel.

      I am getting repeated calls and messages from Hathway service. Try to not to contact me. Delete my profile and contact number record from your database.

      Do the needful

        Last year I had to disconnect Hathway broadband service due to relocation. After disconnection, Hathway had collected the modem device as well, and officially terminated the service.

        For many months until now and so on, they keep on calling me to renew. I told them I am not even in chennai, and that was the reason I had to disconnect. But they dont stop calling, everyday I have to explain to them in call.

        I feel getting harassed, but still I am polite with the callers. I request them to update somewhere to not call me again as in my current location, there is no hathway service anyway. But they dont stop.

        Please take action on Hathway regarding this.

          I had Hathway connection, because of bad service and frequent issue, I stopped Hathway. Now I am getting calls for renewal everyday from different numbers in working hours, instead of informing that I am not interested to continue.

            Hi Team,

            Raju from Hathway has took the modem on 5th Dec 2021 and account got terminated.
            Today I have got the call from Swapna (from Hathway) - [protected] stating that the account is deactivated and she is asking to renew it by paying Rs. 430/- to avoid any further calls and cancel it after 20 days.
            It's so unfortunate that Hathway is manipulating and cheating the end user.
            I then called up Raju technician of Alwal region, he said modem has been received and terminated long time, he was unsure why the calls are still coming to the customer.
            I have all the recording for the proof.

            Attaching the screenshot of account termination for your reference.

            Kindly take the necessary action on Swapna as she keep cheating /manipulating the end customer just for sales target.

              I have requested hathway to transfer my existing connection to new place where i was shifting. I waited and followed for 1 week and then opted for new connection. I have informed hathway team over email and over call to disconnect the connection. I have never heard any thing from them from dec 2020 till march 2021 for returning modem. I am receiving call to pay 2 month custody charge and then i have to return modem. I have told them that i am willing to return modem but they are asking me to pay the money. I have request with hathway but they are closing the request and calling me from random numbers and threatening me for legal notice.

              There is no customer care to speak and raise our concern and why should i pay money as legal charge even i am not opting the service. I am mentally disturbed and i may raise complaint with police if harassment continues.

                This side, Roby Shah having a GTPL Broadband connection, and the service got affected due to DP down at Rushbh Palace Flat on 06/03/2021. However, the very next day GTPL Technical team visited the site to resolve in which the team sought permission of the neighboring Tenant to place the main connection at their premise instead of Rushabh Palace Flat.

                Team got the permission on the very same day itself to use premise and do their needful to restore connection. However, the connections have not started yet, stating reason in my raised ticket (Ticket no.: 8545796) with GTPL.

                When we approach the team via Phone, Customer Care or visiting office, they have only one reason to state and which is mentioned in my ticket as well that, " WE ARE WAITING FOR PERMISSION FROM OWNER OF PREMISE TO RESTORE CONNECTION".

                It's been more than a week that my Broadband service is affected and no further hope to resolve in near future is sought as the GTPL team is making an absurd statement of "WAITING FOR PERMISSION".

                  This is regards to the payment of Rs 6000/- ( Reciept no:- R[protected]) that I have made on 3rd February 2021(Mayank ASNORA) house no:- R-10 kirtidham society, vavol, Gandhinagar. I was promised a broadband connection for which they later said would not be feasible due to the location for which the agent(Mayank Solanki) kept lying for some 10 days saying "kal lag jayega sir", and later refused the connection, when asked for refund he said it will take 10-12 days on 15th February. its been over 20 days now when tried contacting him he mentioned he have already left the job and his superior( was not at all helpful and completely rude) said it will take up to 45 days, seriously!!!. all I now need is the money they have kept so that i can a better ISP.

                  Just to add GTPL is the worst never not ever go for this, from lying agents to even worse and rude superior and not to forget peoples in there customer care who seems to have no idea what they are doing, seriously they take promise to give connection in 15 days an i know peoples who are struggling for over 2 months to get the same not to forget again the refund policies, which they should mention beforehand.

                  Would like to get the Refund ASAP, also an apology won't hurt.

                    I use hathway internet connection in bangalore. Due to covid-19, i stuck in my hometown and waiting for situation to be normal and restrictions lifted to travel, till then i dont see any reason to recharge my internet connection as there is none to use it.
                    I explained the same to hathway and they acknowledged, still i get multiple calls daily from hathway customer care to recharge my account. I even asked them to deactivate/surrender my connection, and will activate once i am back still they dont stop. I am going through lot of things here, and these calls just irritating more leading to a mental stress.

                      Have disconnected the hathway broadband because of relocating to different city. I have called to customer care to stop the service but daily 4-5 times i'm getting call from hathway stating that we're providing offer please do recharge. How to stop this call? As per your guidelines i reached customer care and informed to stop the service. What else expecting from consumer?

                        I have requested for termination of connection.

                        Consumer care representatives are useless and dont answer the queries. First of all, they dont even answer the call, especially in Chennai.

                        They have mentioned it as 100 MBPS plan and have activated 50 MBPS plan

                        After getting fed up with pathetic consumer service, they are not ready to terminate the connection

                            Why are you guys calling me 10 times a day to recharge and harassing me.
                            This is the final warning, if I get one more call I will take legal action

                                  Yesterday I have received a call from hathway internet to pay an amount of 425 rupees as behalf of rental charges where I was having hathway router so that they will the technician to collect back the router but today while I was calling they are not lifting the calls and they are saying we didn't used this mobile number for many days. Please help back to return my money

                                    I have moved from Hathway to another provider 3months back and I got a call from Hathway regarding modem collection and a guy came and collected it. Now customer support agent calls me and asks me to pay 430 for not having an acknowledgment slip and claims they never received the router. She threatens that legal action will be taken against me if do not pay the fine.

                                      Hi, I had paid Rs. 3000 to one of the GTPL agent on 20th March for 6 month broadband prepaid plan (User ID : BB[protected]). But as per his promise this connection was not setup with in 2-3 days. so I cancelled this connection and requested for refund. but after frequent followups my refund was not processed. so I decided to go with same after 2 months (30th May 2020) but again installation team was not able to setup internet to my home due to some technical problem. So again I cancelled this connection but still waiting my refund. In between when I was checked with local GTPL representative, He informed me my broadband account was showing active and continuous download sessions are observed. again I informed same to GTPL Customer care but received same message, 'Your complain is under process and we will try to resolve it
                                      as early as possible. ' even after 12 months I have not received my refund and not aware who was used my account. GTPL has not taken any action against him and not refunded my Rs. 3000 amount.
                                      They have raised ticket[protected] against this but still not issued refund.
