Hathway customer team called and done the fraud by doing recharge through Lazypay on behalf of me.
Now after a month Lazypay team is asking me for the recharge amount with late fees.
Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    Request for refund grievances

    To whom so ever this may concern,

    I Niyati Saraf recently subscribed to Hathway Broadband Internet Service and got a new connection, but due to unforeseen setbacks, I cancelled my connection and returned the modem device at the Hathway Office and hence I would like to kindly request for a refund.

    I am facing connectivity issue from last few days, so many complaints logged but no resolution done. Everytime message recd from customer care that issue resolved but after some time issue rise again.

      I had installed Hathway internet connection, one year back in bangalore. Now i have moved to a different location and i have already submitted the modem/ Router and yet I have not been anywhere informed regarding the refund amount.

      I still receive calls about the million useless offers but no communication regarding the refund.

      What a useless company, stealing people's money just like that.

        Dear Team,
        This is my registered email ID and my registered mobile number is [protected].
        I am sick and tired of your down time and disgusting internet services since past 6 months. I have raised multiple complaints but my tkts gets resolved with out even resolving it.
        During this pandemic time we really need a robust internet service and I'm afraid to say that GPL internet service is one of the worst I have ever taken in my life.
        I face down time and variation in the service at least 10-15 times a day per day.
        My kids online education is getting impacted and i can not trust your services any more.
        Please discontinue my internet with immediate effect and refund my balance for the rest of the year which you have charged in advance.
        Hope to see immediate action on my request.

          I am getting multiple calls daily from hathway customer care to renew the connection.
          Even though I've informed them that I'm not in Bangalore and will not be reconnecting for ~5 months.
          Its so disgusting and irritating. There customer service sucks.
          Never in my life I'll use hathway again nor I'd recommend anyone.

            My Hathway broadband account number is [protected].

            I had requested for disconnection of hathway broadband and am willing to surrender my hathway device ~70 days ago. This was even when my internet was still active.

            Complaint 1: Hathway took no action and did not collect the device but closed my service ticket without action. I had filed multiple disconnection requests and none of them have been acted upon. One such request was raised on 10th October, ticket number 10102020M600573 and was closed within 1 day without any action. Multiple such requests were raised and none of them have been acted upon.

            Complaint 2: I have been receiving multiple harassment calls from callers pretending to be Hathway customer service. These people are not from hathway as they can neither take any action of actually terminating my account or even know what all service requests I have submitted, but they have my phone number and know that my account is pending renewal. They do not even know my updated phone number that I had updated on hathway app, which means Hathway is leaking sensitive customer information to 3rd parties just for harassment purposes. This is a huge breach of customer trust.

            Complaint 3: I have reached out to Hathway via email as well from this same email address and there has still been no action. Instead, the number of harassment calls have increased.

            Complaint 4: I have filled a device return form on https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdGMu1djNDZxU1fqYWK4FjhM8G8GS9t7fX9CXiT... but there has been no action from Hathway on actually collecting the device.

            Complaint 5: In lieu of all this inappropriate behaviour from Hathway I have submitted a formal complaint to Cyber Crime division of India. The complaint is currently in jurisdiction of Bangalore Cyber Police. In fact, I have already informed this to [protected]@hathway.net with all the spam callers and still there has been no action. That is how bad it is.

            In light of all this proof I'm ready to go to court once again if Hathway harasses me further when all you had to do was take action on my service requests. I am entitled to compensation from Hathway for this but I wish this will not go that route. As mentioned above I have all the proofs required for all the facts that I have posted above.

              this is another long pending unadressed issue
              there are two ips - 61.95.233.59 and 125.23.19.186... Check the results of "what i should get" and "what i am getting"... The ms for both the ips must be below 50ms but its coming more than that... Due to #pathetic #hathwaybroadband i am losing on my work and the #goon #cheat #fraud #ceo #shameless #rajangupta is all #arogant #adamant #ruthless #mentallychallenged to #understand the issues... The problems

                The wifi has not been working for 3 days we have complained twice but no action taken. I stay in Kothrud, Pune. It's really very irresponsible of them and I am fed up constantly complaining. None of the people who work there are helpful

                  Since 2 days there is a red light blinking on LOS on hathway router.
                  I have raised a complaint to hathway customer service, they said they would fix it in 24 hours but no one called or came to fix the issue. I am working from home and I am not able to connect. I have already paid for 6 months.

                  It tried to reach hathway customer service people and they only say someone will come and fix.

                  It has been worse experience from hathway service people.

                    Hathway sent me a legal notice

                    I used hathway internet 1 years back which I requested to transfer the service while i was shifting my house in year 2019 and the same was shifted. The connection was later transfer from my name to other person who was using while I left Chennai 2019/

                    I am not getting refund

                    I have shifted to new location and then Hathway informed that the connection is not feasible to that location and hence I returned the modem on 13th Nov 2020. My account was deactivated by Hathway team but still I have not get refund and it's already more than a month now. When I am putting emails to pune nodal team I am not getting response.                       I am getting ~ 10 calls from hathway customer care to renew the connection.
                      Even though u informed them that we are not in Bangalore and will not be reconnecting for ~5 months.

                        I had booked new hathway connection from executive (manikandan). He explained and he told within two days installation will be done. And he collected money . After creation of account no one responses. After two days I had given for closure . Still my amount I paid is not refunded.

                        Note: instead o[censored]ser need to pay online. Executive told as to give money to me . I will pay online. He is doing again the rules from hathway.

                          I submitted documents and payment on 14th Dec and till now my net is not installed.

                          they have started the billing cycle even without installing the modem. so now I have lost three days without even having internet.

                          customer care has no answer to why my net is not installed yet. the salesperson told me it will take maximum of three days and now its already 6 days.

                            I am a consumer of broadband internet services provided by GTPL Broadband (https://www.gtpl.net/) and got a broadband plan worth Rs. 3999 for 6 months.
                            After 2 months, I needed to move to different city for work. So, I requested shifting of the connection to the new city I was moving on 27 Nov. 2020. Their representative said that the connection will be shifted in 2 to 7 days. There was no response or update by the company for 7 days. So, I called their customer care department but still no resolution. It's been 21 days on 18 Dec. 2020, there is no update or resolution / shifting of the connection. I complained through their customer care department and emails. But, no resolution. Not even update about the process from their side.

                            I sent them email to give me refund o[censored]n-used services now as I have to move to another service provider as I can't let my work suffer. But, they are not giving me refund.

                            Please do the needful and help me to get me the refund o[censored]n-used services.

                                Hathway customer care has been calling unnecessarily. Calling to renew plan with Hathway internet however I have recently switched to better network tata sky and even after telling the same they just keep on calling

                                  I paid in October 29 and today is 18 Dec, still no installation nor refunding, sale executive sometimes pick call and extend date of refund...but still no solution from gtpl i also mail them, call customer care, call sales executive...
                                  Rumor is true once you paid full payment they will not pick your call nor provide service, you are useless if you paid them...

                                  I don't know you guys solve it or it's me...but after i wrote complaint to you...i also called all Vadodara gtpl center and one gtpl sale/ technical executive told me to wait till next day that he check what problem is going on... I got my refund check... But problem is why gtpl sale executive took payment from me if they are not ready to install at my home... So my advice who want to install, don't do payment tell them i will pay at time of activation/installation...or give them check after 7 days from booking...
