On September 26th 2020 I paid Rs.2652 for an internet connection from Hathway broadband (Acc no. of connection: [protected]). After payment, I was told that connection cannot be given to me as we already had an existing connection. I agreed and requested for refund. I raised a request for refund by calling Hathway customer care sometime during 2nd week of October. I have not received the refund since then. I have called multiples times to Hathway customer care, all they say is they will give a call back and refund. I have not got any callback or refund till date.

    I have installed 40mbps home broadband from M/s Hathway Cable & Datacom ltd. to do the work from home during pendamic period. I have never achieved 40 Mbps speed. I made several complaint but in vein. Although I got a Tax Invoice for Rs.1462/- for renewal and I paid the same online before due date but said provider does not reflect it and update after the due date.
    Consequently my connection deactivated and charged extra Rs.308/- for reactivation as payment did not received in due course of time whereas I have proof for such payment.
    Please resolve the same

      The house owner has discarded the router. We had already paid a security deposit for the router and we don't expect that money back. But now I am getting calls asking for Rs. 2500 fine or monthly fine, etc which is totally unacceptable. Please call me in [protected] and help resolve this issue.

      I have 2 hathway accounts and I am still actively using 1. Kindly provide good customer care to your existing customers!

      Before vacating the flats, we were continuously trying to reach customer care but couldn't do so. We all left suddenly unexpectedly because of COVID Situation.

      We requested for termination multiple times. The customer care is so poor that even after we choose for termination it doesn't call us. We cannot talk/file a request/complaint anywhere. Without any choice, we left at that time, and now 1 6 months later we are being asked for fine which is not at all acceptable!!!

          Hi, History of my Complaint to Hathway is as below on the POOR Customer Service. They only need us to pay money.

          The Funny part is that even after escalting the issue to the so called Appellate Authority I got the below message that your issue is resolved!

          Thanks for your reply. While I wait for a resolution as mentioned in your below email. I get this message as below:

          I am writing to you to you to complain about the rude behaviour of your Customer care executive on the call received on 22nd Nov 2020 at 2:22PM for resolving my complaint raised regarding billing which was never experienced from any of your earlier customer care executives.

          The details of my complaint for Ticket No 20112020W385909 Raised on 20th Nov 2020 is as below.

          This Is regarding issue of my plan ‘MEN Retention Supreme1 20Mbps Blr Pre Mtly-SUBSCRIPTION’ related prepaid plan with my regular billing period of 2nd month to 15th month billing and I have been paying regular for the services and based on one of your customer executive call and SMS intimation received on 25th, 26th, 27th 28th & 29th July 2020 of an offer as following HURRY! Special Advance Independence Offer, Get 1Mth Extra by renewing your Hathway A/c.[protected] with Rs.1821/- for 3Mth, Pay online or cal [protected].T&C and also made my payment reference as following Payment of Rs 1821 has been initiated towards your Hathway Broadband Account No [protected] with Txn ID [protected]_[protected]. Please keep this Txn ID for future reference.

          And I am now asked to pay as per the below message:

          I request your intervention in resolving the above issue and advice your customer care executive of his rude behaviour and to continue to my earlier normal payment my next payment date of 15th Dec 2020 as per the offer details and my payment.

            I was take hathway connection 2 months back, i had payed rs.3229 for the three month payment. They promise me give play box for the plan. that's why i take the hathway connecton, now customer center told me im not eligible for Play box. why the hathway sales excutive give fake information and blame people.

              I used hathway service in the year 2017. I stopped using there after as i moved out of town. The POC came and collected the device and dues. Suddenly after 3 years, I'm receiving calls from hathway to return device which i dont have. Also they are sending msgs that they will serve me with a legal notice. Kindly help.

                No Internet connection. Also its too slow. No way to contact customer care. You have only some basic robotics chat to ask whether the power switch is on or off. So please cancel my connection immediately.

                  I was promised with a data quota of 1000 gb and a speed of 50 mbps while i was taking a plan of hathway... But shortly after i paid my money for pack renewal my quota decreased from 1400 gb to 220 gb.. I didnt use 1200 gb of it and it was all vanished.. I really demand to be given 1000 gb because 220 will be in no way be sufficient for me for a month... I demand for an immediate response..
                  if its not solved i will have to proceed legally

                    I am writing this complaint since i am not getting any response from Customer service of Hathway. Very irresponsible Customer care.
                    I have raised complaint on 22/11/2020 when the internet connection was lost. till now it is not resolved.
                    I raised multiple tickets and called customer service, but nobody is taking responsibility. Numbers of nodal officers not working

                    Area technicians are also not taking the calls. They never respond.

                    Pathetic Service of Hathway Broadband.

                    Please somebody need to help on this.

                      This is Nishant Varma, my Hathway Internet A/c No. [protected].

                      On 31st of October Hathway associate Vikas Jadhav persuaded me to pay for 3 months for hathway broadband promising seamless and fast internet service.
                      On 4th of November 2020 I was promised that the service would start, there were some issues which I escalated to Vikas and he said that on 5th a technician will come and check the router. On some occasions I was able to connect to the internet through your wifi but the speeds were lower than "2012 mobile internet plans".

                      I conveyed the same to Hathway associate Vikas and after calling, messaging, asking for help several times and running without any internet by 8th of November 2020 I was convinced that Hathway isn't useful to me. Hence as pre discussed with Vikas, I asked for a full refund, which Vikas and his manager promised me.

                      It's 25th November now, I don't have any service, no reply from Hathway even after sending them several emails, I have face major losses due to Hathway and wish to file a formal complaint in the court of law against Hathway for fraud and mental harassment caused to me during these days.

                        Hi,

                        My account no is [protected] and I have been a Hathway customer for few years now. My existing package of 70mbps unlimited speed expires tomorrow and this time I decided not to renew with Hathway because of speed issues.

                        However, yesterday, one of your marketing executives called me and gave me an upgrade in speed and months. He offered me 100mbps unlimited speed for 12+6 months and asked me to make online payment of 5838. I went ahead and paid the amount as suggested and he told me within 1 hour, the new 100 mbps unlimited offer will be reflected in my account with 18 months validity.

                        Today, I get another call from Hathway saying I wont get 100 mbps plan and I need to pay extra 150 rs for a 50 mbps plan. When I told him about what i was offered, he said that offer isnt possible and I wont be getting refund amount.

                        I conveyed him that anything less than 70 mbps will not work for me because I have to run parallel video classes online. He disconnected the call saying refund wont be possible and gave absolutely no clue what would happen to 5838 deposited online.

                        I renewed ONLY because I was offered an upgrade in speed. Please do not cheat customers under the pretext of false promises.

                        Please refund the money or offer what was offered to me while asking me to deposit the money online or I will be forced to explore legal options.

                              Dear Team,

                              I am experiencing horrible service from Hathway Broadband. They are calling daily 4 to 5 times reminding me to renew my broadband account. I have already informed them that whenever I need the connection I will recharge and stop calling me. Every time they call from a different number and every time a different customer care executive is on call. I have emailed them and also tried to call their helpline number. But no help. They call at a very odd time. We are working professionals and receiving daily calls with the same message is very annoying. I need them to stop calling me. I researched online and I feel most of the Hathway customers are facing the same issue. This needs to be resolved soon.

                                I am trying to contact customer care executive but fail to do so since last 2 month or so, also filled a complaint about terminating the a/c many times but nothing happened. Please terminate my a/c ( [protected]) as soon as possible and refund my security amount. If nothing happens then will forcefully need to take Legal action against them.

                                    I have stopped using Hathway broadband due to pathetic services. The same complaints had to be raised at least twice a month; however, we did not get any permanent resolution. Mid-way through the cycle, I switched providers and notified Hathway team through registered email. However, Hathway agents started harassing me to resume services. No matter what I say, there seems to be no end to the shameless spamming. I would just like Hathway to leave me at peace and stop tormenting me.

                                      It's very irritating when you get daily at least 10 calls from Hathway broadband to renewal the internet service from one month. I have been telling to their customer service guys that,
                                      " I'm not going to renewal due to out of station and Current Covid'19 situation. I'm not gonna renewal for at least 3 months due to my absence at my working...
