I paid my bill in June and because of my parents employment we had to relocate and since it still has been few days hence I contacted the customer service to provide me the internet service at a new location but they said that the service is not available in the new location, there after I said then they should process the refund they said even that is not possible. I did not do anything I asked them to close my account but they never closed my account and they daily call me from July for renewal and asking me to continue the service, and after so many months of not using the subscription now in January they are asking me return the modem and device how could a person handle all these, they harass me every day by calling. I have the device but these people don’t come and collect

    Dear Team,
    I have taken broadband connection from Hatway and I have the full amount for yearly subscription . Since from 01st Jan 2021 I am facing regular issue of disconnection and since 07 th Jan it is completely stop .I had made several complaints to their Nodal officer and to Appellate Mumbai region .It is assured that my issue will be resolved however till date nothing is resolved and also I am not getting any response from Hatway on the resolution of issue.

      I have disconnected my Hathway broadband. Even months later, I'm still getting innumerable calls every single day to renew my account, to take a new connection. I'm fed up and cannot take it anymore.
      I also returned the device to the hathway employee and requested them to not call me any more but still they are calling.

        My Name is Arjun using Hathway Broadband Service baring Customer ID : [protected] with 6 month renewal.
        I raised a request on 19th Dec 2020 to shift my internet connection to new location where i got shifted recently for which a ticket was raised[protected]M942956). There was no response from Hathway people till 5th of January 2021 and at-last after multiple followups i got a call on 05 January 2021 from a gentle man named Chandu ( ph :[protected] and quite unprofessionally arguing with me to go and get the router from old location as its not his duty to get the router from old location. I am trying to explain him that i was in an assumption that hathway service people will uninstall at old location and reinstall in new location, hearing this he was rudely responded asking me to go and get the router and call me.
        After this conversation I immediately got the router and since 06th of Jan 2021, i'm constantly calling Chandu for which he never responded and after multiple attempts to reach, finally i started calling customer care multiple times but each and every time i landed up with auto robot ... Till today my problem is not resolved and
        TO MY SURPRISED THE TICKET RAISED FOR SHIFTING IS CLOSED ON 06TH JANUARY 2021 WITH RESOLVING MY PROBLEM OF SHIFTING. THIS IS REALLY HORRIBLE THIS CLOSING TICKET WITHOUT RESOLVING THE ISSUE AND WITHOUT INFORMING OR RECONFIRMING WITH ME. Please find the details below.

        This is really a worst customer service what Hathway is giving this is not the first time, i'm facing this problem... This time its really worse experience than ever. Due this pandemic i'm working from home and due to this interest issue (Hathway) i got a serious warning from my boss as i not able to attend some important meeting before new year and they gave me an ultimatum to find an alternative solution for this internet issue immediately. As a result to save my job i have to take another internet connection with Airtel Broadband - Xstream[protected]_ap), which they install within 6 hours on high priority request and very good customer service.

        This is not the first time it happened with me... This is really bad experience with Hathway, they much worried to collecting advance payments from customers and least bothered about customer satisfaction.
        I lost almost like 30 days for which i have been charged without using internet.
        All i Want is
        1) Resolve my issue at the earliest in next 24 hours...
        2) i want to extend my renewal date by 30 days which i didn't avail service of internet due to pure negligence of Hathway Service Providers.

          I was a hathway customer account number [protected]. I have shifted my house to a new place 3 months back and disconnected hathway. But daily call comes from hathway to change plan. I have told that I have disconnected and want to return my modem. But nobody calls or comes to collect my modem.

            I had a Hathway Broadband account when I lived in a rented house in Thoraipakkam, Chennai.

            Chronology of events:

            1. The last payment I made (Rs.943) was on 14th October 2020 for a month and this period lasted till mid November 2020.

            2. I vacated the house on 7th November 2020. The house was vacant for more than a month after that. When I visited the Apartment on 11th December 2020, it was still vacant. In any case, nobody else knew the WIFI password to continue using it.

            3. After that, I was getting at least 3-4 calls everyday for renewal. I tried explaining every time that I have moved to a house where I can't have a Hathway connection.

            4. On 18th December 2020, I got a call from Hathway. When I explained the situation, the Customer care personnel said that he will send an OTP which I have to give him to stop getting further calls.

            5. This was probably my major mistake. I believed it and immediately gave the OTP without checking the origin of the OTP.

            6. To my shock, a Lazy Pay account was opened and I had an outstanding credit of Rs.470. I got messages about that.

            7. Ever since, I have been trying to get this issue resolved via the Twitter handle of Hathway, but in vain.

            8. I still get calls from Hathway for renewal. In addition, I get calls and sms from LazyPay asking me to pay the amount.

            9. The amount has compounded to Rs.599.

            Please help. This is causing me mental harassment on a daily basis to get calls asking me to renew/pay an amount that I don't owe anyone.

            I am shocked to see(attached screenshot) that Hathway has not listed the Chennai Nodal Officer's contact details on the website for me to escalate the problem. I sent an email to [protected]@hathway.net

            For the sake of partial mental peace, I paid Rs.600 to Lazy Pay to close the compounding credit.
            But I don't know if Hathway will stop the calls or repay the amount to me.
            These people seems to be spammers. Today (12/05/2021) I got call from [protected] saying to hold my suspended hathway account I need to provide OTP, and I found that the message is from LazyPay; immediately I warned them and disconnected the call. When I did check the net I can see lots of complaints regarding the same, also in TrueCaller this number has been marked as "Hathway Scam" by 85 people.

              I have been getting continuous marketing calls after disconnecting my Hathway service, it has been happening for 9 months now. I have notified them many times that i no longer need the connection, i moved to a city where there is no hathway service but they still keep calling me.

                My internet got disconnected and raised complaint ticket on portal on 3rd Jan 2021, I called the customer service everyday but the answer that I got that the there is technical issue and the technician will call and visit my place which did not happened till date. I escalated the same to nodal officer but they too responded with same gimmicky reply that they would look into it. Its pathetic customer service from Hathway. I erred by going to 6 month subscription and now they simply sitting duck with no responsibility and accountability.

                I have written them for refund but no specific reply from them.

                  Hathway representative Reddy Came on 10 /1/21 with a Leaflet which mentions. 150 mbps Speed with Android Box . I paid Rs 1942 for one, month Rent and the Android Box. They provided connection with the speed blow 50 mbps and No Android Box provided.
                  I complaint many times to refund the money. they are not listening.
                  The person Reddy who came for installation is not answering calls.
                  I send many sms WhatsApp messages he is not answering.

                  Hathway do not answer they just created service token but
                  done nothing.
                  I sent emails to them they do not answer. I want them to refund full amount of RS 1942 and takeback their router. Kindly help me to get money back.

I have been subjected to mental pain by hathway broadband.I got a new connection which was to be on someone else's name but the hathway installation guy tricked me into giving my documents saying that hed would transfer the account on the other guy's name before activation. Nothing so happened and later I got so frustated that just after 12 days of paying 2121 rupees approx. for 3 months, I requested for the connection to be terminated.Later, the modem was collected and I got no receipt of it, just a complaint id.I had to call the hathway customer care around 5 times to know what the complaint id was for as the message didn't mention anything.Though I got the confirmation, I still wanted a mail .For termination of connection, I have called them a lot of times, I sent them mails, I went to the nearest hathway office, enobody helped saying that we don't do this asking me to contact one another i.e. hathway customer care to technician, technician to office, office to customer care.I have their convos as proof. I have got very frustrated as I am preparing for UPSC CSE and a lot of my time is getting wasted like this.

                      I informed Hathway customer care to terminate my account from one month.
                      Still we are getting calls 20 to 25 calls everyday from multiple people of Hathway it's very annoying.

                      Terminate my Hathway account.there is no way to raise ticket for termination in Hathway login it's so worst.ww wrote mail for termination to help desk of Hathway but not responded and informed customer care still getting calls is not good.

                      Do a favour of termination of my Hathway account.

                          I keep receiving frequent calls from Hathway, asking me to reconnect to services based on some offers. In spite of numerous polite responses and strict responses, I keep receiving the call from the team. I am being harassed to use the services and there are no customer service numbers or other numbers for me to call and request for not receiving such offers henceforth.

                              My user ID with GTPL is BB[protected]. I have made advance payment of Rs. 5799.99/- to GTPL for their fibre broadband services in Varanasi on dated 08.01.2021 based on the commitment made by their representative (Mr. HRISHIKESH SHANDILYA - 32468) that my new router will be installed and wifi will start working by 09.01.2021.

                              Howerver, till date my wifi is not started. On going to GTPL office, no body is taking our complain seriously and all are making fun of me. On calling customer care, he is saying that he will take 10 days to resolve my complain.

                              I am facing huge losses because of false commitment made by GTPL representatives. Some chats with their representative is also attached where he is folling us by making false commitments.

                                Charges for not returning the modem

                                Hi,

                                I have disconnected my connection via account number [protected].
                                I am not using the same from October 22.

                                From last week some person from Hathway called and they told that the modem has to be given back. But nobody came to collect the same from me.

                                Now they are calling and asking for Rs. 2500/- for keeping the modem with me. More Interestingly the customer care number does not work....

                                I have raised a request for Termination. I'm not getting any confirmation email or message. I am not living in the city, and no longer require your services.                                   I have discontinued Hathway broadband service and did handover router as well. But they didn't stop sales call at all. Daily getting minimum 2-3 calls and messages. Blocking(DND) also not working because calls are from normal mobile number and every time it's different. Please take an appropriate action. I can't bare this harrasment. Attached image it has all the details.

                                    My account number is [protected]. I had hathway connection in Vellore. Since I shifted to kolkata I do not require the connection anymore. According to companies policy I have made the payment of Rs 2500 since I have not in a position to return the modem but eventhough I have made the payment I am still getting emails from pre legal team hathway for return of the modem or payment of Rs 2500. As a proof I have attached the receipts for the payment of modem charges. Therefore I would request the hathway to solve this issue as soon as possible.
