Hi team,
I am out of Bangalore in Pune with my family. I need to travel because of a medical emergency. Now I am stuck in Pune and would only be able to recharge hathway when I will be reaching back bangalore. I told a couple of times but still I am receiving calls and messages for recharges. Moreover, I received a message that I would receive safe custody charges until I submit the device. It was initially told that the device would be given as free along with payment of 3 months of internet charges. It was never told while taking the connection that I need to pay these charges.I have already them by email but still I am receiving email and smses from them.Hence, I am filing a consumer complaint.

    I have registered my ticket for shifting of 2 TV channel connections and also Broadband wi-fi connection on 6th Nov 2020.

    But after 100+ calls in Customer Care, 10+ Tweets, 10+ visits to near GTPL Office I have nothing. Yes you read it right yet no TV connection, No WIFI shifted.

    I am tired now. Please tell me where to go?

    Also GTPL has wasted my 1 Month from 6 month package of wifi. So will GtPL compensate for it right?

      I have been told many times that I have changed my connection but still customer care calls me minimum 10 times a day annoying me. It feels like I am being harrassed and I would like to file a complaint against the company for this attitude towards customers.

          Tried to reach Hathaway customer care, dropped email, simply no response. Not sure how to surrender the modem and complete cancellation since we are vacating the house .

            We took Hathway Internet connection in hyderabad for our hostel room. with account number - . later we vacated the hostel and asked to close this connection. despite asking several times to close this connection - company is not closing the connection and asking us to pay some fines and calling again and again - with no solution and threatening with some legal action now.

            Please close our connection and don't call us again

              I took 100 MBPS plan for broadband from GTPL and paid 9000 in advance for full year.About a month or so the connection worked fine but then on 1st December, I started getting problems.Initially the router showed red.I dropped an email to them.Nothing happened, then I called the customer care number, they told me that there is some problem with the server and it should work tomorrow.The next day I called again, nothing happened.Meanwhile they did not even registered my complaint as they told me that if there is server problem then they can't take the complaint.So I took alternate route.I created complaint from their website.Complaint number:.872514.Then the next day I called again and finally they created the ticket 77567978.Which they closed the very next day saying your connection is active.I bought a 100 Mbps plan, when they claim my connection is working, it means I m getting 0.01 Mbps download speed.I told customer care about it and it was ignored.I then got yhe message that the ticket is closed.I visited GTPL office and complained.They registered a brand new complaint 7583833 and even generated an OTP saying a technician is on his way.I waited and got call next day that your ticket is resolved.I asked I am still getting 0.01 MBPS speed.And no technician visited my home.Fearing that nothing would be done again I went to GTPL office again.Till date nothing has happened.Noone visited my house for problem resolution.In corona times, I am working from home and internet is extremely important else I risk losing work.Please help me urgently as this is extremely urgent.Last comment, I figured by searching for reviews of gtpl Surat broadband that the same customer service fraud has been happening with other customers also.Please just search gtpl broadband Surat and check the reviews.

                I have a broadband connection at my home and from 30th november 2020 my internet stopped working and we complained about it on 01st december 2020 on their customer care number and they claimed that they will solve the problem in 3 working days period and on 4th day we called customercare and they started apologizing and saying that they understand our problem and will solve it as soon as possible and we also visited local gtpl office and on 5th day, 05th december 2020 i emailed them and today is 06th december 2020 and we called customer care and they were still saying we understand your situation but not sorting the problem. It has been six days we complained and still they are not resolved our problem.

                Complain ticket number: 7546966 they have given me and not solved my problem.

                Please resolve my problem.

                The person who installed or connection helped to solve the issue otherwise customercare was just apologizing and saying complain will be solved as soon as possible and is their executive involved or not we don't know because we didn't receive any calls from their customercare

                I am a Hathway broadband customer. I paid my bill. It is showing that my account is active but I'm unable to use internet. Raised a complaint 2 days ago in help desk, still no response. Tried contacting customer care executive, they are not even connecting to executive once to speak. Worst response from the service team. Please resolve my issue.

                  My account no :([protected]) raised Technical request having ticket no:14092020M985741 on 14th Sept as the internet went down suddenly.
                  as you already know the importance of the internet while doing work from in this pandemic situation. without giving any prior notice my internet connection is discontinued saying Hathway has some internal dispute with the local cable provider, it was not informed neither on installation period nor renewation of subscription period.
                  we personally visited the hathway office located at 4 time but it wont work.
                  The first 2 day they said we will send the technician and he will fix it instantly.
                  Later they said there is some ongoing issue with the local hathway provider. We will try to figure it out quickly and the net will up soon.
                  even its 5th day of continuous chasing not getting a solution on it.
                  one day loss means a day without work and indirectly we will lose a day's salary.

                  Requesting you to please provide us a solution and make the connection up, already we are in 5 day salary loss.
                  total 5/6 connections are down because of this dispute. Below are the details of other members as well as

                    Hathway cheating customers by providing false promises to recharge their service, after recharge they are not providing the services and torturing again to recharge

                    Before I reactivated my account, the sales executive promised me for additional 30+15 days to my account .
                    And also said these additional days will reflect after the expiry of my account.
                    Now my account validity is over and these additional days are not added to my account. attached telephone conversation for the same.

                      I’m Dinesh and I belong to Chennai city and reached Hathway many times via customer care and appellate unfortunately there is no positive or respective response from them.

                      I am really depressed due to Hathway employees behaviour, before collecting modem 'Hathway reached my phone many times per day and they did not care about day or night, due to COVID-19 I was moved out from Chennai, that’s the reason not able to return the modem.

                      Hathway many times used abusing words over the period of time ( I have more than 30 blocked contacts). But once the modem returned Hathway not even thinking about the refund. Whenever I reach customer care they always provide some useless reason, fake commitment. So I decided to consider the amount as a tip for Chennai nodal.

                      Hathway did not expose any higher official email or mobile to escalate these types of issues.

                        Account : [protected] has been Deactivated by Mr.Suresh (Ph:[protected]) and associated CPE modem also collected by Mr.Mohideen [protected].

                        New Account : [protected] has been created by Mr. Suresh (Ph :[protected]). Something weird about his business strategy of course it's not my problem.

                        I had created many tickets by asking Refund but still there was no response from Hathway and felt like I was cheated.

                        Not sure Rs 500/- is not bigger money for hathway why can't they do a refund?

                        Ticket # 02112020M062021 is my latest ticket and possibly look at all my tickets from history.

                        Can any one really resolve this issue? If not I will consider Rs 500/- is Diwali tips to Hathway.

                        Hi there,

                        I also vouch the stupid behaviour and service of Hathway. When I retruned my Modem, the refund of Rs.400 is nor given back, stating that the service should be in connection for 3 years... But they didnt tell all these stories while getting the connection.

                        Secondly, the reason for me surrendering the line is due to disconnection after 12 hours... Which they are not able to understand. the laymen calling me for money are simply telling that the connection will be fixed once i renew it. But nothing happenend. This is a worst team and they are giving false promise for something not possible by them.

                        When they are not able to provide decent service, then i dont know why they come for this business(which needs more customer support and resolution).

                        Im really pissed off for taking the Hathway connection

                          The representatives are very rude of Hathway wifi proivders, the email address [protected]@hathway.com doesn't receive any emails so there is no mode of communication and issue solving. The speed is pathetic and I have already made a full year payment

                                This is Ashish from hyderabad. I have hathway broadband connection with 3month 1589 of 80 Mbps unlimited plan. On 30th Dec my recharge expired on same day I made payment of 530 (before payment I have call to care that I want to change plan so she suggest me for 220 gb per month of 530 amount plan) since two days passed my account is not activated when I call to care they said there is no plan nd even they know my current plan saying I have to recharge with 2999 rs. Because am marathi this people talk in telgu of bad work since I have understand some what telgu.

                                      I have raised a complain stating I can't access the internet it's been more than 96 hours I see no response from the team. Multiple occasions I have asked the team to refund instead for not helping with my issue. Each time I try contacting them I get the same automated response from the team.

                                        Today again agents of Hathway messed with the connection of Airtel in Magathane(Borivali) they are so frustrated that they are not getting subscribers that they have started doing illegal things and were seen running away, next time we will catch you and lodge police complaint against you for your evil actions.

                                        Today i wasn't able to deliver my project due to stupid goons that boss around causing other people harm and gaining customers by evil means.

                                        I don't know what actions Hathway will take but remember people are not fooled.
