Hi, I am from chennai (pammal) and I took a Hathway Broadband service in Pammal area. They asked me to pay the amount 1492 and I paid. They kept the modem in my home and not activated the service because due to covid i am out of station. But Suddenly their agent said they were not able to provide service and taking back the modem.
They sent an email to refund the full amount and take back the modem.
As per their email their agent came and took the modem and later saying they cannot refund the full amount. Only security deposit they can refund.

This is pure cheating the customer.

    Hello sir,

    I have taken hathway connection in 2017 and i came to native in Oct2020. I told them, when i will come back, i will activate my account. but no one proper replied .Now i’m receiving the calls every day at least 2 times from hathway to renew my account. Every time i answered them politely to once i will come back, i will activate my account .After 2 months i’m receiving mails saying notification for submission of device - avoid legal issue which i don’t have. Still they have my security deposit. Threatening customers is not good way of business. If they responded correctly i would have choose hathway where ever i go. This is all scam, threatening customers and getting money.

      Hi, I've been facing frequent internet disconnections with Hathway Broadband and hence moved onto another service provider but I could not get a response from Hathway ppl for disconnecting unused internet connection. My bill cycle ends on 23th and need the connection to be disconnected ASAP ...

        Spam call from Customer Care

        I have Hathway broadband connection, I have asked to hold the connection because I left to my native in Covid19 situation. But they took money from Lazypay and I am getting continuous calls from Lazypay daily! Complete Fraud...

          Hi,

          I do not want Hathway connection. Yet you telecallers call me and harras. Even mentioning multiple times . They calls me and harass me. What is wrong with you guys, I even confirmed and requested not to call back but Hathway kept calling me.

            GTPL broadband is down since last Saturday. While calling on customer care, its same update they keep sharing "Team is working on it". While I asked expected resolution time, no one updates on the same. While calling appeal authority desk, they also give same answer
            The number on appeal authority desk is always busy and after I spent hr, I was able to talk and got update that they cant have resolution time when service will be up.

            I have paid advanced money for Subscription and I am facing this issue, my office work is impacted due to this. Also, customer care told me to visit office physically, This is WORST service provider I have ever seen and I don't recommend to opt for GTPL broadband.

              I'm getting calls and sms daily twice, have asked customer care to stop calling but still getting calls.

                I am an existing customer of Hathaway broadband from September and I 2019, having account no [protected]. I am facing frequent Internet disconnection issue. Whenever I am trying to upload files to remote office server though the file size is as low as 2 MB. The internet connection get disconnected. I have raised all most 30+ tickets but it has been closed without resolution. I am very frustrated and feel like I have been cheated. Would like to have a permanent solution or would like to have refund.

                    Due to COVID, I had to move back to my native so I disconnected the Hathway connection. Since then they have been calling me continuously everyday 5-10 times. I tried explaining them and they told they have updated in their system but still these calls don't stop. This behaviour is unacceptable. I am tired of blocking all their numbers.

                      I have send a disconnection notice a year back to Hathway ISP and moved to a different ISP as there service was not good. I took a 6 month payment option as the installation was free. After sending the disconnect notice none of the Hathway employees came to remove the wire and collect router. I personally myself removed the wire and disconnected the router. They called me couple of time and asked for the router. I informed them that it is ready and they can come and collect the device as that is of no use for me to keep it and it only works with hathway. They never turned up when I gave them a time slot. They expect me to be at home when they wish to collect, which was not possible as I was busy on my routine. They called me today 19/01/2020 and saying that I need to pay a penalty of 2500 pertaining to router amount as they did not collect it. I denied to pay any amount and asked them to collect it again which they are not ready to do it and they want only money to be paid. This is a pure fraud of collecting excess money from customers where the Chinese product of router doesn't even cost them 500 Rs. They are threatening me saying that the terms are listed in terms and conditions document which was signed initially. Please take a strict action against Hathway against this fraudulent practices.
                      I am not denying them to collect there product. It is there responsibility to come and pick up after I disconnected there services.

                        He is hathway broadband sales person he took money from me and said he will give dual router but gave my only 2g router but he still didn't give. It has been almost a month i took my connection still i dont have any response he isn't picking ip my calls and messages please help me i dont know what else to do.
                        Even the costumer care number [protected] will not pick up your call the whole 5 mins was set up by an robot / AI which in any way wont connect to the costumer care person even if your press 1 and go as an new connection the call back through sales person who says he doesn't not belong to that department.
                        Many people are facing this issues
                        Please do something

                          I want Hathway to stop calling me on my mobile. I do not want any contact with them asking for renewing my broadband account as I don't even live where Hathway provides service. I have repeatedly asked them to delete my number, but they haven't so far. I feel harassed.

                            I use hathway internet connection in bangalore. Due to covid-19, i stuck in my hometown and waiting for situation to be normal and restrictions lifted to travel, till then i dont see any reason to recharge my internet connection as there is none to use it.
                            I explained the same to hathway and they acknowledged, still i get multiple calls daily from hathway customer care to recharge my account. I even asked them to deactivate/surrender my connection, and will activate once i am back still they dont stop. I am going through lot of things here, and these calls just irritating more leading to a mental stress.

                              Hi Team,
                              I Ankit Thakur user of Hathway broadband my old A/C I'd:- [protected] and new one A/C I'd:- [protected]. Actually I relocated my from my old address but the sales person told me that your old plan or A/c I'd not relocated. So I will brought a new plan. Now on 17th Jan my new a/c I'd plan was expired due to this reason I got a popup that recharged your plan at that meanwhile I have received a call from Hathway customer care executive they told me that to recharged your old a/c I'd and we will activate your old a/c and transfer that old device and plan. Now my both I'd plan was expired while complaining against this issue they told me that we will transfer this amount ₹1910.00 to your new a/c I'd. Last day on 17th Jan 21 my new a/c I'd plan was expired but still my recharge not showing in my plan.
                              Also I have share the payment receipt of my old a/c I'd.
                              Kindly see this metter seriously and resolve this issue aa soon as possible.

                                1. I'm a hathway customer with account number [protected] and associated contact number as [protected]. I made a payment of Rs. 2478 towards 50Mbos ore 500Gb Qtrly Plan on 14 Jan 2021 at 3 pm. Their sales representative promised to activate connection within 1 hour.
                                2. No connection was established till 16 Jan 2021 after repeated request. Line and Modem were installed by evening on 16 Jan 2021 after repeated requests.. again I was promised that Connection would get activated in an hour and I will receive a call from technical representative. The connection is not activated citing Various reasons
                                3. For 4 days no fruitful contact has been made from hathway end neither is the connection active but in my plan the connection is said to be active for last 3 days and validity remaining is 86 days.
                                4. There's monopoly of hathway service provide. Healthy competition like JIO fiber and Airtel broadband are not allowed to provide service in the area. Hathway is the only available choice of ISP and with this they have very poor attitude towards customers

                                  I paid my bill in June and because of my parents employment we had to relocate and since it still has been few days hence I contacted the customer service to provide me the internet service at a new location but they said that the service is not available in the new location, there after I said then they should process the refund they said even that is not possible. I did not do anything I asked them to close my account but they never closed my account and they daily call me from July for renewal and asking me to continue the service, and after so many months of not using the subscription now in January they are asking me return the modem and device how could a person handle all these, they harass me every day by calling. I have the device but these people don’t come and collect

                                    I have taken broadband connection from Hatway and I have the full amount for yearly subscription . Since from 01st Jan 2021 I am facing regular issue of disconnection and since 07 th Jan it is completely stop .I had made several complaints to their Nodal officer and to Appellate Mumbai region .It is assured that my issue will be resolved however till date nothing is resolved and also I am not getting any response from Hatway on the resolution of issue.

                                      I have disconnected my Hathway broadband. Even months later, I'm still getting innumerable calls every single day to renew my account, to take a new connection. I'm fed up and cannot take it anymore.
                                      I also returned the device to the hathway employee and requested them to not call me any more but still they are calling.
