Hello. My name is Chetan.
I signed up for a Hathway service in Mumbai on 28th Oct 2020.
The lady that I spoke to (Preeti Sharma) and she said after the payment is done, I'll get a call back from the technician for installation. I waited the entire day for the call back. I followed up with her several times, then she tells me (after taking the payment) that modem isn't available, she'll update me tomorrow.
So next day, I religiously followed up with her. She literally started ignoring my calls and msgs. Then finally she answered one of my calls and told me if by tomorrow there is no update, she'll refund the amount.
I waited for 2 more days and still no response from her.
On 30th October 2020, I asked her to share her Supervisor's number so I can escalate the case - still nothing.
Today, 3 days later, I once again called her and still no response.
Kindly look into this matter as they were happy to call me again and again while taking the payment and now no response. Not even a courtesy call/msg. This is how they work, literally looting customers in lockdown when everyone is short of money. Please help. Looking forward towards a solution.
Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
