I have taken a connection of Hathway Broadband. While filling up the form, their representative (Prabhu) said that your internet will be start within 48 hours. After 48 hours I called him to know my status but he started ignoring my call. After that I called his manager (Ganesh) and He took my account number and said that your internet will start in next 1 hour. Now It has been 5 days, Both of them are not responding my call/text. I have a word with customer care also for several times, Everytime They assured that your internet will be started in next 2-3 hours.

I want to complain to entire Hathway Team of Hyderabad.
They are irresponsible.

    Hello,
    I have pains 2667 on 25th oct 2020, after many calls to customer care...technician visited our house after a week and mentioned that connection cannot be provided to my apartment .

    We called to customer care, to cancel and do the refund .
    But we didn’t get any refund yet.

    And when we call to customer care, they are telling us to request refund through hathway app, but we didn’t find any option to request cancellation or refund .
    Please help us and resolve the issue ASAP.

    Refund is not received yet.

      I have been using hathway for almost 1 year, if there is any technical issues the response from hathway will be so late where as if my payment due date is on the 7th of every month I start getting calls from 20th of the previous month. I need to raise a consumer complaint legally as DND was not at all enabled even after submitting multiple requests. Customer care always lied stating that they have enabled DND but it never happened.
      Worst network in chennai . If it rains connection goes off . Speed gets reduced 20 days before the billing date.

        My current plan 100 mbps ...I will recharge samll plan but section to High plan...so call customer care that men sir change your plan don't very last 20 day nathi call him...

          Net becomes very slow very frequently disrupting my office video calls. Though am paying 3636 for 3 months my speed is pity most of the time .

          And they increases speed two days before the payment due date .
          Several times i raised speed complaints but out of 20/30 days in a month the speed becomes very slow .

          Am really very very unhappy with hathway . Hathway speed sucks !!!

          I dont know how to take it forward . Can some one suggest ?

            On 22Oct 2020 i have mailed to GTPL for shifting my broadband plan location from Ahmedabad to Baroda. For that, I have already paid shifting charges 560/- on 29Oct 2020. now there is already 7 days passed after payment still i didn't get any response from their site. i had contact to their customer care number but they are just asking me to wait for another days. now it is not possible to wait anymore more then a week. so pls help me on this

              This is my formal complaint as I was misguided by a representative at Hathway whose name is Neelam and her TL is Girish.

              Neelam advised me to make a payment which I did on 2nd November, 2020 in the amount of Rs.607 with Transaction ID # [protected]. She told my router and modem will come the next day. The wiring was done the very next day but no engineer has come. I have called her multiple times and she disconnect my phone. I WhatsApped several times and my chats are read but no response and she goes offline. I got her TL number from Hathway customer service whose name is Girish but he is not answering. This service is urgent for me as I'm working from home. The department which provides router stated that to a router we give 10 days timeframe and Neelam told me it will happen once I make a payment. I was misguided and mislead. If she had to tell me the right timeframe I wouldn't have opted for Hathway in the first place. This is my complaint against Neelam so please coach her on this. Her number is
              +[protected] and her TL Girish number is [protected]. This is due to Neelam miscommunication I want my reimbursement.

              Hence, I am requesting for my reimbursement as I want to discontinue with your service as it's is pathetic and Hathway employees do not care for their customers once payment is made. So please reimbursement my payment of Rs.607.00.

              I'm working from home. My phone is not getting connected with my laptop as network is not that great. The employee from Hathway told me that the connection will be quick once I make the payment and which has not happened. Their requests to send router and modems to people are still pending from September & November month so imagine I have paid in November so how long this is going to take.

                Hello Gtpl support,

                Kindly refer these complaints I logged since last week.

                Ongoing issue from last week. No one from GTPL is bothered about customer issues.

                THIS IS URGENT MATTER.
                I'm facing internet issues since last week.
                I'm Working from Home. Due to this intermittent Internet connectivity issues since last week not able to do my office work. My connection is frequently connect/ disconneted no.of times in a day

                Its a BIG LOSS to me.

                Please consider this request on serious note.

                I have contacted customer support multiple times and explained that for some times it works and then keep disconnecting.
                Everytime I log complaint, support engineers are closing ticket stating issue has been resolved without taking confirmation from us. i have informed many times that it works for few minutes and then same disconnect/connect cycle goes on.

                Yesterday only when engineer called me to inform that issue should be resolved, I checked connectivity found that 45-50 % PACKET LOSS was showing. I informed him about this but he was least concerned on my issue and CLOSED THE TICKET AGAIN.
                This is very Unprofessional and Bad support service.

                With this email I am just waiting for your positive response and positive support for this kind of issues and provide permanent solution.

                Kindly look into this matter on PRIORITY.

                Please fix this ASAP.

                  Everytime I complain for my wifi that is not working the engineer never visits and says that he visited but the user hasn't provided me with the otp. If he has visited my place you can check my CCTV footages about him visited or not. This is the worst service any one can provide

                      It would be wrong to say that my network disappears frequently. The right expression would be that it appears occasionally.

                      Right from day one it has been a horrific experience for me. Is Hathway playing some kind of a prank on it's customers?

                      I would like to discontinue Hathway services and request for a refund.

                        & refund of the payment to be done as I paid for the whole year.

                        I request the company to disconnect my services immediately.

                        I am not at all satisfied with your service. from the day I have installed the connection never experience the flawless services

                        I had a connection from last days continuously trying to reach the executives he does not even answer the call not reverting the messages.

                        I am unable to use the internet from the last 2 days, looking at the current situation of the pandemic we all are working from home & full depend on Internet services.
                        Officially no would buy such unreasonable & pointless delay excuses, hence request you to kindly terminate the services & Process my refund ASAP.

                        Looking forward to the quick & cooperative response.

                            I was having broadband connection number [protected].
                            I requested to terminate my account and returned my modem also. I am having the receipt and visual proofs for the same.
                            But I am continuously getting calls and messages asking me to renew my account and some offers.
                            What is the point of the calls and messages ?
                            I have mailed the same to your customer service and requested to stop these messages and calls. But you people are still nagging me.

                            I am requesting you to take proper action in this regard. Failing so, leaves me no other option except to proceed with legal action on you.

                              I used Hathway broadband in the past for many years. Even though, the service was sub-par, I had to pay for it as there was no other ISP at my locality. I usually pay for yearly subscription.

                              In Jan 2019, I had to move to a different place and wanted to shift my internet connection. I called Hathway customer service and informed about the same. But they said, they won't be able to transfer the connection as they are not offering...

                                From since my router changed i raised multiple times tickets for issues of slow internet and network dropped but the am not getting any songle call from their end.
                                In case they reolved my all tickets on their behalf and not informing durinf closing tickets.
                                This is very worst service i ever faced, because when time expiring period they called many time but when service matters they forgot us very convenient.

                                  I had requested for termination of broadband account as i was relocating. On my request Hathway executive quickly came and collected their router, and i was told account would be closed, however till date my account is not closed. I get calls to renew my plan. Despite send multiple email, there has been no response.

                                    Hello. My name is Chetan.
                                    I signed up for a Hathway service in Mumbai on 28th Oct 2020.

                                    The lady that I spoke to (Preeti Sharma) and she said after the payment is done, I'll get a call back from the technician for installation. I waited the entire day for the call back. I followed up with her several times, then she tells me (after taking the payment) that modem isn't available, she'll update me tomorrow.

                                    So next day, I religiously followed up with her. She literally started ignoring my calls and msgs. Then finally she answered one of my calls and told me if by tomorrow there is no update, she'll refund the amount.
                                    I waited for 2 more days and still no response from her.

                                    On 30th October 2020, I asked her to share her Supervisor's number so I can escalate the case - still nothing.

                                    Today, 3 days later, I once again called her and still no response.

                                    Kindly look into this matter as they were happy to call me again and again while taking the payment and now no response. Not even a courtesy call/msg. This is how they work, literally looting customers in lockdown when everyone is short of money. Please help. Looking forward towards a solution.

                                      While taking hathway broadband service the company executive never mentioned that the security deposit will be refunded after 3 years. But now when I have returned the modem also, they are telling that security deposit cannot be refunded. Company is cheating its customers and looks like they are running some kind of scam activity.
